I recently moved to Old Colorado City and was looking for a local repair shop I could truly trust. I am so glad I found Scott’s Automotive! They worked on two of our vehicles this week, and the experience was exceptional. As a parent, my top priority is ensuring my kiddos' cars are running safely, and Scott’s provided a comprehensive service that gave me total peace of mind. The team operates with a rare level of integrity, honesty, and transparency. From the clear communication to the top-notch customer service, it’s evident they care about their neighbors. If you’re looking for a shop that does great work and treats you with respect, I highly recommend them!

I’m new to the area and just searched for car places close to me. I’m so glad I chose Scott’s!! One of the better mechanic experiences I’ve had. They were warm and welcoming, and have a comfy and well-stocked waiting area for customers: recliners, coffee, beverage fridge, and WiFi. The prices were reasonable, and I appreciated how they explained everything clearly and kindly. I got an oil change and tire rotation. They did a full inspection and provided a list of recommended future maintenance with estimates and timelines. I found this so helpful to allow me to plan ahead instead of being surprised with car issues and high costs. Also, everyone there was just generally really nice. In their interactions with each other you could tell they care about each other and enjoy being there. I will definitely be going back there in the future and recommended them to a friend as well. I’d highly recommend visiting Scott’s if you need a mechanic! :)

I had an emergency today with a tire that picked up a screw, and Scott’s Automotive & Tire in Colorado Springs absolutely saved the day. I pulled in without an appointment, totally unplanned, and these guys took care of me right away. They repaired my tire quickly, professionally, and didn’t charge me a single dollar. I still paid the guy because I truly respect the great customer service. In a world where great customer service is rare, Scott’s went above and beyond. The staff was friendly, honest, and genuinely cared about getting me safely back on the road. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area. Thank you, Scott’s Automotive & Tire — you guys are the best! 👏🚗💯

This was my first time using Scott’s and the whole experience was great. I brought my truck in for a radiator issue and along with that diagnostic, they did a full vehicle overview - with pictures, videos and ranking of importance-to-be-serviced/repaired. My advisor, Jim, went over everything in the report with no pressure to do any of the services. He gave answered all my questions as he walked me through the report. I now have a list of things to keep an eye on moving forward and can check items off the list as I get them done. I also knew I needed new tires but didn’t expect to have them done at Scott’s. However, their pricing and overall package for tires was less than I was expecting to pay at my usual tire store, and they were able to get them installed within the day of my radiator service. As I said at the beginning of this review, it was a great experience - a one-stop-shop for my vehicle, with attentive service advisors and quality results.

Google
We had such an incredible experience! Our vehicle had a flat tire in the area and the guys at Scott’s were able to get us in quickly. They were so kind and so helpful, even great with our kids. They even offered to drive us to the place where we were planning a family hike for the day and pick us up so that a vehicle problem wouldn’t ruin our family day! Their store is the cleanest and most comfortable auto and tire shop I’ve ever seen. They also made sure that we got the most affordable price. There is no other choice on the COS area!

Google
All I can say is wow. I’m pretty jaded by conglomerate-owned mechanic shops but this family-owned business delivers world class service that exceeded my expectations. I went in to get my tires mounted and balanced, and they knew me the moment I walked in because of their online booking system. They were genuinely friendly, very fast, and the best priced in the Springs. They made a lifelong customer out of me and I typically do most of my car repairs at home. Given how affordable they are, I think I’ll just bring in my vehicle even for oil changes in the near future.

Google
I can't emphasize how impressed I am with Scott's Automotive in Colorado Springs. Justin and the entire team have gone out of their way to provide great service. They are true professionals and very knowledgeable regarding any type of service or repair. My 2002 Mazda Miata has never run so well. I would recommend, no matter what make or model, to take your car to Scotts. I believe you will be totally satisfied. Jim Richardson

Google
My wife and I had an incredibly positive at Scott's Automotive and tire. I had a rental car with a flat tire and they were so accommodating to take care of me and fix the flat. While there I was surprised to find the waiting area so nice. I'm talking about having soft reclining chairs and some refreshments. The people working were also super customer-friendly. This was not only with us but we observed that with other people who came in and the way they were dealt with. So kudos to this place

Yelp
If you have an automobile with sensitive maintenance or repair needs, this is the place to go. We have a German sports car which, like many of them, is "built like no other," meaning you need someone who knows their peculiarities, how to diagnose unusual problems, how to order parts, how to install them properly, and how to make it look nice. They enjoyed a challenge and made ours run better than it has in the twenty years we've owned it. They charge fairly for their talent, but they will take care of your special needs and, like the owner said, "We want you to enjoy your car." Highly recommended.

Yelp
Concours is the only shop I will have work on my 1983 Alfa Romeo Spider. Very thorough mechanics and they know their stuff.

Yelp
This place used to be so much better & my "go to" when the owners SON ran the show and knew how to treat and interact with customers / clients. The owner Mark WEINER is a much suited name for this fellow which I use that term very loosely. While Mark's SON worked for the company I had nearly every vehicle I owned both built and maintained by Concours, but now I will never again return for even so much as a donut during a cars n' coffee event. I called Mark asking about getting a Lamborghini Murcielago in for an oil change & inspection, not only could he not even give me a price and the schedule availability, but he acted as if I'd interrupted his day as a customer. Needless to say I called a good friend at a local dealership instead who was able to get me in and serviced within 2-days and that included having to order the oil change service kit. Mark always loves to make belittling comments to his customers if you dare question a charge, pricing or even blink wrong while your card is pending approval. Mark's attitude and demeanor doesn't surprise me one bit being where he's from. Enjoy your last few years in business, because words getting out and discussions are fluid amongst the automotive community about what a horrible operation you have.

Yelp
Long review sum-up: "When we showed up to pick up my vehicle the pompous owner told us we were out of line to question him and belittled us by asking "do you even know how much my computer costs and to run these tests?" To which we happily answered- "we have our own, it doesn't cost, but we used your shop for timeliness". The conversation ended by the owner telling us his shop is not for us." He also bluntly said "$150 is a tiny amount of money. This isn't brutal." _________________ Wow, not a review-type personality: no matter the times I swear to myself, "I'll leave that positive/negative review later tonight". We were a return-client to Concours Cars as they are close-to-home and had been a excellent option to tow a dead car to in the past and get timely work done for a new starter. We had never met anybody who works here- the tow dropped off my vehicle and we picked it up later with the keys on the wheel. Because of this effortless and timely service we decided to use Concours again, today: when my vehicle died unexpectedly in a shopping center. I went to check-in shortly after it arrived at Concours to see if they would run the tests today or how long I could expect to wait on further news. Turns out, timely as ever, my car was already fixed when I showed up- less than an hour after it had been stored at Concours. The fault of my dead vehicle was a simple poor connection my my battery and they cleared the cars computer. We were charged 146$ and some change to which my partner handled over the phone and inquired as to why the charge was so hefty for under an hours' work, and a simple connection issue that only needed tightened. Monkeys work. We didn't believe as a return client we would be nickled and dimed as we all know how building business-relationships work. So, after explanation to my partner by the owner we were happy to pay or sum with no turmoil in our conversations. When we showed up to pick up my vehicle the pompous-owner told us we were out of line to question him and belittled us by asking "do you even know how much my computer costs and to run these tests?" To which we happily answered- "we have our own, it doesn't cost, but we used your shop for timeliness while we needed to focus on our work day". The conversation ended by the owner telling us his shop is not for us. If I could leave less stars, you know I would. What a sour taste I left with and I sympathize with the others' who too have felt compelled to share their negative experience. Paige L. Vancil

Yelp
This is the only place I'll bring my '73 VW Bug to anymore! They are awesome and detailed in their work. Mark, the owner, has walked me through every inch of getting my bug back on the road after an engine fire. I've tried other shops in the Springs for my VW but none compare to their knowledge here. Yes they may cost a bit more but it's worth it it to know that the work is being done correctly! This is not the shop for your everyday vehicle - just the ones you take pride in!

Yelp
I like this place. They have friendly, knowledgeable staff, a good shop, and a great location (easy to hang out in Old Colorado City if you're just waiting for something quick). That said, this isn't for everyone. They really do specialize in rare cars that need that extra bit of care, that extra touch. That doesn't come cheap, and their prices reflect that. However, it was the only place I've found anywhere in the area that I felt I could drop my rare British sports car off for work knowing it'd be in good hands...and for that peace of mind, I'll gladly pay extra. They completed the work on time, and took extra time explaining some of the details to me.

Yelp
Been back 3 times since my first review to have work done on both VW's (Golf R and TDI) Brett, Frank and Jason are great people to work with. Brett has been awesome to work with on tuning my Golf R as well as maintaining the TDI with needed regular work (oil, brakes, tires). I will continue to use Concours for all of my VW/Euro car needs.

Joe M.

Yelp
After research decided to give Concours a try. Front office and garage team both have treated me with courtesy and care. Jed does excellent work and goes above and beyond. Won't take my car anywhere else!

Yelp
Run the other way unless you have money to burn. Rude and overpriced, but that is their reputation. If you like arrogant, know it all owners of small businesses, you have found the right place. I would take my car to the junkyard before I would let them work on my car again.

Mike F.

Yelp
Great shop for specialty cars. Staff is entirely filled with specialists. If you have a BMW, they have that guy, a Porsche , that guy, etc. Everyone there has a passion for cars and making them run great. This is not Pep Boys or a dealership, rather a specialty shop that comes with extensive knowledge and a bit of a price tag. On the track, I will take knowledge over saving a couple bucks any day.

Sandy N.

Yelp
This place is terrible. They tried to oversell us on parts that were not needed, overcharged us for what was performed and were incredibly rude. I will NEVER go back.

Jay B.

Yelp
Costs a little more, but worth it. My 2001 Audi S4 isn't the easiest car to work on, and their expertise, with Audis in particular, is invaluable. I was really disappointed with the service and knowledge at two other shops when I first bought my car, and now I won't let anyone else touch it. Plus, while there, my car gets to hang out with Ferraris, Alfas, and even the occasional Talbot.

Jeff G.

Yelp
Customer service needs work. My mechanic (Jason) was nothing but helpful and a very knowledgeable gentleman. This being said, the front office needs work. I took my car in to have a high capacity radiator and oil cooler installed. At the end of the visit my bill was $1000 more than I was quoted by Mark. I was surprised when it was handed to me to say the least. After the install I find my car running warmer than before. When I contacted Mark to ask for further support he implied that I was a crazy customer, my parts probably weren't very good, and that I should contact the manufacturer of the parts. I did contact the manufacturer, they had never heard of this happening before. After that Mark said I should bring the car back and spend some more money to get them to troubleshoot the the problem. I think not. I will be finding another shop with better customer service.

Yelp
A long story but they intentionally put the wrong APR tune in my Porsche,(wrong tune for the DME, wrong tune for what the car had). This caused multiple trips to different shops (3 Zero 3, CoSpgs Porsche and Concours), trying to figure out why the car was running so poorly. $2000 later, no resolution. European Performance did what they could, fixing the vacuum issue that controls brake performance and boost pressure, both critical performance issues missed by the shops above. Though they couldn't fix the tune issue that had the car in "Limp Mode" for almost 2 years. Ultimately, back at Porsche, it was discovered they rendered the DME incapable of returning to factory software. Another $3200 to fix that issue. Now the car is happy. As for APR, they refused to refund the $2200 for the wrong software they helped Concours put on my car. If I were you, would stay as far away from Concours and APR as you can get!
