"The basketball-imbued Concourse is a gathering space featuring a long communal table, two-person seating, a sofa, armchairs, and Deadstock Coffee. Concourse even offers a private room customers can reserve for $15 by the hour, perfect for conference calls or moments where you need to be distraction-free. Plus, knockout food carts Matta and Baon Kainan are right outside for lunches of pandan-bun burgers at the former and chicken adobo at the latter; when you’re finally off the clock, Concourse serves beer and wine, as well." - Asia Alvarez

This was a very interesting coffee shop. The whole sports team school vibe was cool. Even the walls I believe were made out of old gym flooring. Seems like a great place to meet up with friends or for a work event. Fun and chill vibes. The barista was very friendly too. I personally was not a fan of the taste of the coffee, it was very tangy... But the latte art was nice. Even though it wasn't a place I would choose, I think it's cool and interesting and the experience was good.

Google
Cool spot for some coffee and drinks. The interior is well decorated and has that hip vibe to it. If you love sports, especially the NBA, you will appreciate the decor of this place. They also have non coffee drinks - Gucci - which is a sparkling lavender lemonade - was super refreshing

This is the spot! Brought to you by the owners of Deadstock coffee, this coffee shop doesn’t feel like any other spot in Portland. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, music is on point, oh and the coffee? Bomb. Can’t wait to come back - this is about to be a regular spot in the rotation.

Don’t come here for real espresso drinks. It seems the only appeal is if you like basketball. Ordered an oat milk flat white and the oat milk brand wasn’t good, wasn’t steamed correctly resulting in very airy foam, and espresso is a bit too sour.

Update: this location is under new management since my initial review. If you’re looking to support the original business owner, make your way over to Deadstock on Couch St. In Chinatown. ✌🏽

Google
Pretty cool place. Coffee bean is from Deadstock, which is also a decent local roaster in PDX. Good to stay here and enjoy a peaceful afternoon.

My plain bagel had seeds in it and less than a quarter teaspoon of cream cheese, which I paid for. Including tip at nearly 5 dollars for something I need to throw away now.

Loved it here so much! The whole space (even the bathroom, which had these cool purple/blue lights) was well-decorated and clean. I fangirled over the decor and kept sending pictures to my partner, who is all about sports. It’s a good spot to get work done. The vibes inside are immaculate, the music slaps, the staff is friendly, and the drinks taste delicious. The prices are super reasonable and I enjoyed it so much that I had a coffee to stay and got a lavender lemonade (the Gucci) to go!

Yelp
Was fortunate to get to check this place out when they started hosting Trivia on Thursday nights. Really cool place! They have a lots of seating options, and a really good atmosphere. The interior has quite a bit of basketball merchandise and memorabilia, not all trailblazers but a good amount. It was cool to see some of the posters and collectables. They also use basketball mugs, which I thought was cool. The person working the counter was friendly, and seemed to be trying to do a lot of things at once. They have a small selection of pastries, but I believe both Sizzle Pie and Hey Love are near by, and they are fine with you bringing in outside food.

Yelp
It's a great place for sneaker heads and basketball enthusiasts. Or just come appreciate the vibes. They're nice enough to open their seating for Matta so you don't have to eat outside and instead in a nice place. You'll love the decor here and the stadium seating they have against the wall. The drinks here are pretty good as well. You got your coffee/lemonade and such combinations. I enjoyed their pastries and they have events here sometimes! Check them out and support.

Yelp
Concourse Coffee is a coffee shop in NE Portland, inspired by sports culture and entertainment venues. Their slogan is "Drip, Beats, and Lil Eats." Accordingly, they serve coffee, beer, wine, cider, and have pastries and small bites. They sell cool merchandise and are run by the same team behind Deadstock Coffee. I am probably not the target audience for this shop - I love coffee but not sports. However, I can admire the thought that went into decorating the space and all the small touches (basketball lampshade, tables made from re-used court flooring, pendants and banners hanging on the wall, etc). It's a cool space to hang out, and there are plenty of seating options and even a private office for rent at $15/hr. I enjoy the coffee here. I've heard about their mixture of coffee and tea/lemonade (Lebronald Palmer or Zero Chill) and I have to say it's unique but not my favorite. Worth trying once to see if you like it! I'll stick to their other menu items like the drip, pour over, and mochas.

Yelp
Originally came to the area to enjoy the food carts but was drawn into Concourse Coffee as well. Super sleek local coffee shop with plenty of unique seating (think stadium seats), basketball theme/memorabilia, and local artist work hanging on the walls. They also have really cool merch for sale that was super tempting to get -- likely something I will get next time! Really enjoyed the vanilla latte with oat milk here but they have some really unique cold brew and lemonades on the menu. Didn't get to try it this time since I wanted something hot but noted for the next visit. They also allow you to bring outside food so it's really neat you can order at the food carts and then bring them inside to enjoy your meal + drink together. Plenty of natural light as well so it's a really balanced space to work, eat, and just enjoy your day. Walking around I saw they also had office spaces you can rent for ~$15 if you want more privacy.

Yelp
Super cool coffee shop, I just wish they made a better latte! No offense but their baristas do not know what's up. Very friendly though. It's hard to justify coming back when the other coffee shops in the immediate area make a much better cup. I stopped going back to concourse because no matter how many times I ask for an extra hot latte I get something luke warm enough that I could dunk my hand in it comfortably. Not hot. I'll go back every now and then when the other shops are too busy and I'm let down every time. Hope y'all can figure it out because it's an awesome shop otherwise.

Yelp
Pretty solid spot in the area. Seating and decor is very much all basketball. There definitely was a good amount of people on a random weekday morning so it was backed up a bit. Coffee was all around good. Food trucks around the corner outside if you want something else to complement it.

Yelp
A cool spot to enjoy coffee or other non coffee drinks. The interior is pretty nice and well decorated. It has a cool and hip vibe to this place. The theme is more of sports, particularly NBA, with some cool features. The Gucci - sparkling lavender lemonade was very refreshing. Deficient a cool spot to check out.

Yelp
Had the gucci. It's a lavender lemonade, really tasty and refreshing. Also a very cool spot if anyone needs a place to study or just hangout.

Yelp
I had a delicious iced americano and my friend had a really good cappuccino. Lots of seating and light - playing really good music - chill vibe. Friendly barista! Highly recommend this newish spot in NE PDX - Deadstock coffee beans are so yummy!

Yelp
Walked in exhausted and needing some caffeine before my kid's soccer game. the barista was great while I was attempting to get my order across through my exhaustion, checked to make sure he understood and then made me a delicious mocha that was exactly what I needed to make it through the game. The space was really nice too, clean and friendly. Definitely somewhere I'd come back and sit for a bit. The pastries looked amazing too.

Yelp
Came for a quick coffee on a Tuesday afternoon. Great service, amicable staff. Clean establishment and good ambiance. Food trucks parked outside is convenient to grab a bite. Beer also served here.

Yelp
Newly opened sister location to Deadstock Coffee (same owner). The vibe is upbeat and hip. We ordered their signature drink - the Lebronald Palmer - which is coffee and lemonade. Super good! We also did a cappuccino, hibiscus tea lemonade, and banana bread. All were very delicious and fairly priced with the local market. We walked here so can't comment on parking. Worth checking out if you're in the area! Note: This business does not offer a menu so the experience is an organic adventure ~

Yelp
This place is amazing, great space, fun vibe, incredible pastries, super friendly staff, and the coffee is delicious! The coffee is sone of the best I've had and since I drink it black it has to be yummy. It was so rich and flavorful, I regret that I didn't buy beans to take home. This place is fantastic, I highly recommend it!

Yelp
This place is also cute and perfect for studying or to just unwind. The vibes are great, baristas we're so welcoming and the iced matcha was great! The interior was my fave part!

Great service, awesome atmosphere and really good coffee. Lots of room to lounge around if you are looking to work or jump into a conversation.
