Condado Tacos

It’s conveniently located near the Ohio Theater and Scioto mile but the food is just so so compared to other Condados locations. I order two tacos with onions and cilantro and the were pitifully onioned with no cilantro. The service was just okay, our food came out very fast which was nice but we had to wait a while for drink refills and for our check

Fun atmosphere and great service. Especially from our server Matt! The food came out quick and was fresh. Everyone at our table ordered bowls, our one complaint by each of us in our group was that the rice was too salty. It was so heavy with salt that we all had to leave large portions of rice left in our bowls. Therefore, less than 2 hours later I was already hungry again.

Went in with my now fiancé for some of my favorite rango tango tacos! It was busy but we found a spot at the bar and was promptly greeted by Kristen asking what we’d like. I immediately ordered (we were starving) and she got it right in. It came out so quick and was delicious. Kristen served us the rest of the night and was very attentive, personal, and gave great recommendations. Awesome place, better service!

01/20/2025 - I recently visited this Condado Taco for the first time and was pleased with its spacious interior. They also had a nice outdoor patio. Nice bar set up. I ordered for carryout 3 chicken tacos on hardshell and they were good. Psychedelic drink menu. A few and mounted big flat screen tv’s for your entertainment. This evening was busy for carryout. Highly recommend placing an order in advance. Friendly service. Limited and timed parking nearby. Decent prices.

I am from Texas and this place is on my favorite map marked. This was my total of 3rd time here visiting and the food always good, service is outstanding from the moment of greeting till saying goodbye.

Niles was great! He took good care of us. The food was outstanding. I am low/no carb and there were plenty of low carb high protein options.

Dominica is hands-down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personality create a truly welcoming atmosphere at the bar. Whether she’s crafting a classic cocktail or recommending something new based on your taste, you can tell she takes real pride in her craft.

Kelly was our waitress and did a very wonderful job. The food came out quickly. So we were able to make it to the theater in time for our theater production.

Super quick take out for lunch! Service while dining on site is fast as well. There is a rewards program - current as of my visit a point for every dollar spent with rewards every time you hit 50 points! Patio seating is available along High Street. fantastic place to relax downtown during lunch during the hectic workday.

Please stop serving knife and fork food in paper wrapped baskets!! This isn't some outdoor picnic! First of all it screams "extremely tight profit margins" and just looks like poverty. A person literally gets either pieces of foil (OUCH) or pieces of paper wrapper or both in their mouth with every bite! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JUST BUY PLATES AND REAL SILVERWARE! You won't file for Chapter 11, I promise! When my pulled pork burrito arrived it was stone cold in the center. I let the waitress know but couldn't send it back because I didn't have time (I was traveling.) Won't be eating at Condado ever again.

Mobile Order, in person pickup. Good: food was good, not sure if the Korean BBQ bowl was supposed to be cold or warm, but it was not warm. Either way it was good. Queso Blanco was killer, as were the chips. Needs Work: order wasn't ready until 25 minutes past the provided pickup time, muy mal. Soda is $3.20 but had like three sips of soda, ice to the top. Soda is bad for us anyway so maybe doing us a favor but just annoying.

Amazing service & great food! Margarita was excellent as well. Stopped in on a Sunday night alone and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

I love this location! All locations are very unique, with different (but same) vibes the art is always so fun to see painted all over the walls! The staff here is amazing! Service is super quick and I've never had a taco here I didn't like!! I've had many nights here and celebrated many occasions! It is just a great and easy place to come! (I only wish they gave free chips and salsa like their rivals Barrio)

I am very happy to get a Black Beans and Rice Bowl with Chicken with Chipotle Honey along with lots of toppings and veggies. My friend and I got great service from Condado Tacos. Also, the artwork are local artists around Columbus. I will be coming back to this Condado Tacos and check out the other locations too.

Warda is AMAZING! Every visit to Condado Tacos is better because of her. She's fast, kind, and incredibly attentive--literally the definition of great service. Her upbeat vibe makes the whole place feel brighter. If you see her working, you know you're about to have a great meal and an even better experience. Highly recommend asking for her!

Was in town for a golf trip and went here for some tacos & margs. Kelly was our server. She was great. Excellent service! Got the Korean bbq taco. Had a really good spice to it. All an all. Good food. Good service. And the prickly pear margarita was on point. Check it out.

Great taco spot downtown! I did two custom tacos, one with a JuJu shell (must try amazing) and one with a hard corn. Did the brisket and carne asada, both were excellent and really flavorful. Also had the mango habanero sauce and the queso blaco. Both were delicious. I'm going back tomorrow for lunch. Can't wait!

Solid Mexican food and people watching right on High Street, downtown. (Not to be confused with the excellent Mexican food and people watching at the campus High Street location.) Huge beer list. Full bar of liquor choices, too. Long tables for large groups, smaller tables for smaller groups, huge outdoor patio seating area for when our persnickety weather permits. Parking is an annoying problem. Meters. Garage under the park. Or better yet...bike or Uber or cab or COTA. Very loud, usually due to music and chatter, but their bar area happy hour pricing should take care of any concerns you might have. Come in, get familiarized with how to order food from the massively friendly staff, and see what you've been missing. We actually drove here from the 'burbs to get dinner. Great place for lunch meetings. Even better place for happy hour "meetings."

Was visiting a buddy and he wanted to try this spot. The three star review is difficult for me. Parts of the experience were awesome but parts of the food were mid at best. Service. Service was great. Staff were very welcoming and tended to us well. Have no complaints there. Every thought it seemed like they were understaffed, you would have never known. Drinks. Solid. I got a house marg with muddled jalapeno. Was legit. No complaints there Apps. The street corn guac. I recommend trying this. It was great. Flavor was awesome. Guac was smooth. All around awesome. The tacos. This is where it fell flat. I got the sweet heat and the Korean bbq. Flavor was good. The double tortilla with the queso between made for a messy meal. The big issue was the sauce. I'm not sure if it was planned this way or what, but the sauce was ice cold. Like freezing temps. Cold enough to be shocking when I bit into it. I think because the sauce was so cold, it cooled off the taco right away. I got one warm bite of meat then it was over. They were not anything to write home about and that freezing sauce was off putting. Flavors decent. Execution poor. If you are looking for chips, guac and drinks, give this place a try. Prices are decent.

Amazing!!!!! Never heard of this place but today, that changed. I ended up getting the southwest bowl and it was the best bowl I've ever had. The chicken, the veggies and everything was fresh and spot on to perfection. I wanna go back soon.

Condado is always mid but it's relatively cheap and pretty convenient, so I always keep coming back for more. I have eaten and ordered from Condado way more than I'd like to admit. The Heater taco is good because it's smothered in sauces and pickled jalapeños. That'd be my recommendation for any meat-eaters. Or you can build your own taco, which I think is the big allure to this place for most people. Dont get a margarita. They're almost flavorless.

I hadn't been to Condado Tacos in a very very long time. A few of my colleagues suggested that we grab a quick bite to eat here. And I say hey why not!! I was impressed with the staff and the quality of food. We got the trio Queso dips , we had the Chorizo Queso, Smoked Cheddar and the Guacamole which was pretty good. I ordered the build your own tacos, I went simple one flour tortilla, one chicken, one beef with rice , lettuce & onion and peppers. The tacos were really flavorful! Must I say I was throughly impressed!! I would definitely give this lunch a solid 8/10. Shout out to the staff, everyone was so pleasant and just made the overall lunch experience awesome! Restaurant was very clean Thank you!!!

The food has gone down hill bad given out bowls of grease the rice is under cooked gives out old vegetables please don't get no week old tomatoes with your order

Love this place! Sat outside and enjoyed a margarita and chips. Staff was pleasant and helped us celebrate a friend.

Warda was an amazing server. My family and I come here all the time, and now we request her. She always makes sure we have everything we need before we even ask. The food is great every time.

Worst service ever! We asked to be seated outside and there weren't many customers, so we didn't think there would be any problems with service. We were given menus and sat at tables on the street. The menu looked great! We were really excited about the taco choices. The different options for meats and shells sounded delicious. After fifteen minutes without seeing any waitstaff and not even getting a glass of water, we were starting to wonder what was going on. Then we smelled pot. Sure enough, the wait staff was smoking in the alley instead of serving us. We walked out without ordering.

This location was obviously short staffed but we were seated right away. The guys working the location offered free chips and guacamole and queso die the inconvenience of waiting a while before our server saw us. The queso was piping hot, had great flavor. The chips were fresh. The experience was great, they weren't very busy which is to be expected for a Monday lunch, they seemed to genuinely care about guest experience. 10/10.

Very cool atmosphere and the graffiti art is well done! Beer is cold and the burritos are hot try it out!

The food is pretty good actually but there service is terrible. Had an online order. When I walked in nobody was at the front desk. Made eye contact with people at the bar and a server walked right past me without acknowledging me at all. Had to practically yell to get someone's attention. They also forgot my sauces.

Tawnie is such a great server.. super chill, doesn't rush you, very personable & knowledgeable about the menu! Really enjoyed talking with her too! Made our experience great! A lovely night. Thanks Tawnie!

Been to this franchise at Easton pre covid and remember how fun the experience was. Went to this location because it was close to where I was staying. Got seated right away and quick service. I ordered a frozen drink with coconut which was amazing. I ordered the tacos and everything came to me quickly. Great service , extensive menu where you can pick how to put your tacos together. Cool ambiance. Wish I lived near a Condados but I appreciate the great service. Best experience during my short stay.

I stopped in to work on my laptop recently and enjoy a taco and marg. I went for prickly pear as it was happy hour and there were advertised specials, as well as a taco. The taco I went for involved a soft taco wrapped around a hard shell with guacamole stuffed in between. I added the jicama slaw, pickled red onions, corn salsa, smoked cheddar, and cilantro aioli. I chose the portobello mushrooms as my protein and they were soooo delicious. The service was lovely and the marg was just right. Great texture and flavor. They weren't busy and both the taco and marg came out quickly. My only qualm is that it seemed expensive given that a happy hour discount should have been applied to both items, and it still came out to $22 without tip for one short glass marg and 1 taco, given the taco was pretty hefty. I don't opt for condado as much now that they are chain-sized, but the overall experience was still pretty good. It was my first time at this location. I sat inside because I needed an outlet, but the patio looked really nice. Very close walking distance for a show or movie night at the Columbus Commons.

The tacos came out so fast. We enjoyed a queso to start out which was a mix of ground beef and smoky cheddar. The orange glazed chicken was an interesting experience. The Rango Tango was a lot of classic Condado flavors mixed into one powerful package. The server was so attentive.

The bowls are amazing as I just tried for the first time last evening. The Perfecto Margaritas on happy hour are really well done.

Amazing range of tacos and margaritas. Love the non-traditional tacos as a change up from what I get all the time. We are here for a wedding - this is close to Hotel Leveque

I realise now these photos are brutal, bad lighting! Good food though. The food here isn't has room for improvement so it leans on the other things it has going for it such as a late kitchen, 'fun' menu, and quick service. Try the cocktail flight blindfolded/eyes closed and try to guess which one is which. Hah. Loser has to buy the round!

Walked in not too long ago, and didn't have to wait to be seated. Warda was my waitress and got us taken care of right away. She was great with getting re-fills, we never had to ask. She was super friendly and I definitely enjoyed her service. The food was great and didn't take long at all. Definitely recommend.

Went here late on a Saturday night. There was a wait so we sat at the bar. Even thought it was busy we got our drinks and food super fast! The bartender was super nice and the food was good as usual!

This is my first time here and everything was great the food and especially my server Andrea!!! I just moved to Columbus from Atlanta and she recommended some great choices and it was delicious! Condado is always our go-to spot! The elote queso is to die for. When you go ask for Krystal! She's the best server and makes the night even better!

Condado is amazing, but let's be honest--Krystal is the real MVP. She's like the taco whisperer, making every visit unforgettable. 10/10 would let her pick my toppings again.

first off let me start by saying I typically don't dine inside restaurants due to previous experiences . however , Warda made my experience 10x better . From her heart-warming smile, to her consistency on checking my drink for refills and checking to see if I was satisfied made me want to become a repeat customer . thank you Condados because good service isn't common any more but I can trust that this establishment will hire the right people .

Just because DoorDash AND Yelp decided to shove this place at me once again, I felt it incumbent upon myself to write something. I often work at the Ohio Theatre, which shares a back yard with the downtown location. The staff is consistently kind and accommodating, but the food is at once too bland and tolo expensive to warrant visiting unless you, the eater, have as unsophisticated enough palettes to accept their food. Columbus' franchise-hungry food scene is typified by this consistently mediocre eatery. They won't close because the OSU alumni and statewide blandness get them through. I have regularly made better guacamole in the dark, sometimes drunk.

So good, fresh and flavorful. Like Dr Phil used to say, it was a party in my mouth. And yes! They said it was spicy and it was ! My eyes tested up just a little on the Heater taco. I like that. So many times, they say spicy and it just isn't. They have done away with the menu that lets you pick and choose everything and now just describe the taco, you order it. I like it better that way. The chef may have better ideas than I. My husband tried the sweet spicy jackfruit taco and he liked it. The kids were happy with the soda refills. I would love to go back. My husband, on jury duty, has been back every day.

The food was kind of pricey for what it was. The chicken in my bowl was very dry. The staff was nice but I just think there are better taco options.

went to Condado for the second time because we LOVED the tacos!! It was really busy but we were able to get a spot at the bar. The bartender (Judy) was SO FRIENDLYYY!! Even though it was busy we got our food pretty quick. we always get the 3 buds so we got the new strawberry guac and it was pretty good! Our go to is the smoked cheddar and it was good as always! just talked us into the coconut cooler and it was actually really yummy! will be back for the hibiscus soon! thanks Judy!

I stopped in for a group for lunch. It was a super nice day outside and the doors were open so the restaurant was breezy. The chips were crispy and the salsa was a bit acidic. Loved them. I got a burrito bowl, it was a pretty boring order on my part so I'm not mad about it being kinda boring food. The rice was super good, but overall the bowl was kind of watery. Service was outstanding. Our server was top notch and I thought she was funny.
