Food was decent price. Finally a place that gives good portions and doesn’t skimp on the meat! Food is 10/10.

Food looks great and reviews look solid. However, everything comes with mayo and I hate mayo. On doordash you can minus everything but the mayo, and it won't let you leave special instructions. So a wrap, sub, burger, sandwich, breakfast bagel, anything I tried to order was gonna have mayo. Ultimately I had to deselect everything and find another restaurant.

Look how empty it is...didn't know I was paying $12 for a kids meal. Rice is clumpy, no flavor, and barely any food at that. Save your money, don't go here. Ridiculous. Edit: Look at the owner's copied and pasted response. Clearly has no actual response to my comment and pictures.

The food was amazing some of the best I had in a long time. I recommend the Chilli Cheese Fries and the Bacon Cheese burger I rate them 10/10 plus it's halal too any Muslim can eat it. This restaurant is a blessing I recommend to eat here. Customer service is amazing too.

Love this place eggrolls on point. But I have to argue the house salad is the top notch except they ought on lettuce the cheapest thin on the menu. At most I have all toppings and a handful lettuce like it's a wrap. I need a salad which consists of a nice amount of lettuce.

I was a regular customer but when I met this girl I’m just like I’m not coming anymore. This girl is racist and too biased. She behaved so rudely, disrespectfully, and spent so much time with her own ethnic people but didn’t even want to talk for 5min to others. So wired and cheap behavior.

Grilled chicken Pita is Fire chili cheese fries Soo Good a Grilled chicken salad 🥗 Everything was fresh an everything is beef no pork! The Cooks were very busy an everything was hot and ready, a customer service was Great show out to the owner a Workers yall are doing Ah great job! Totally Recommend Food Prices match the food Quality! Good Prices an Good Food! I couldn’t post the chili cheese fries they were gone soons I got them ;)

Amazing! Finally got around to trying this gem! Quality of the food is top notch with flavor to match. We tried all of the egg rolls, chili fries, chicken tikka sandwich and nothing was disappointing! Ordered Jamaican Patties and couldn’t get around to eating them the same day. Threw them in my air fryer almost 3 days later and DELICIOUS! Super flavorful and the crust was still flaky. Don’t sleep on Coney Star!

Great place to eat food is fantastic this my to go place love the bacon cheeseburgers with the onion rings very clean neat and respectable place for friends and family overall very impressed

Detroit does not play when it comes to Coney! Coney Star is top-tier! I have enjoyed everything I've ordered from there! i highly recommend it.

Meat is undercooked, somethin told me to tear it in half and I'm glad I did I like coney star food is good but yall gotta do better

Naga chicken wings my favorite. Good people and good service. They open 24h so especially getting out from work midnight you can find these people ready to serve you.

An excellent addition to Banglatown! Star Coney opened recently as the only coney in the area that is fully halal, joining only a couple of others anywhere in Metro Detroit. Even better, Star is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which has become a rare and precious thing now that COVID has flung our dining options back by 25 years. (Star had more limited hours when they first opened and were ramping up, but are now at full 24/7 operation.) I stopped by with two friends late on a Saturday night after celebrating's a friend's birthday down the street in Hamtramck. Star's parking lot was brightly lit and is near a high-traffic intersection (Conant & Davison), and the lobby/dining room inside is also brightly lit even late at night. They have a big and diverse menu, even compared to most other coneys. You'll find most of the expected standards here -- breakfast plates, omelettes, and sandwiches; burgers and hot sandwiches; coney dogs; fried appetizers. But there's also quite a few dishes not found at other coneys: chicken wings; burgers, hot dogs, and chicken sandwiches made with naga pepper sauce; chicken tikka sandwiches; but perhaps best of them all are five different kinds of egg rolls, which are large and well-stuffed. I had loaded hashbrowns, chicken tikka egg rolls, and a naga dog. My tablemates had Philly steak egg rolls, a burger, and a breakfast sandwich. We were all happy with everything we got, and I'll gladly go back again even when it's not a post-bar stop. Glad to have you in the neighborhood, Star!

Had the late night cravings the other day and found this gem open at 2am. Drove down here and got some naga wings and bbq wings. Have to say was pleasantly surprised how great the naga wings were! I will definitely be back for more. Coney star is open 24/7 and has a dine in seating area.

The food here is banging! Must try all the eggrolls, especially corn beef one. 100% halal and will be open 24 hours. Finally, the community needed this!
