2 Days in Porto

"Perfect for breakfast near downtown, this Cedofeita Street pastry shop greets you with a display cabinet overflowing with delicacies; order a grilled mixed croissant with Douro orange juice, then a cimbalino and a pastel de arroz—the portion size is generous." - The MICHELIN Guide

Great selection + nice atmosphere + easy to find location... everything baked is super fresh. They open early. Lots to like. One star off because nothing taste-wise stood out (to me). It's probably better to listen to all the other 5 stars.

We asked for recommendations from the people running the cafe because we were overwhelmed with the choices. I think this is a very cute cafe with lots of room to sit and talk, but the food was very sweet. A little too sweet for my taste, which is a lot coming from someone who loves sweet food. This is fine, but what really disappointed me was the egg tarts. They were not crispy and tasted a bit stale. Egg tarts are my favorite things to get at cafes, but I would not get them here.

The best place for having a quick Portuguese breakfast in a early morning. Have a coffee with a bit of milk, and ham and cheese croissant🥰

Can't get anymore local than this place. I came in for a cappuccino and ended up getting a specific to order breakfast and bread. Everything was just right. It's a family run business and they have pastries. The service was great. It has a homey feel to it, like I'm going into someone local's kitchen. Love. There's something for everyone here

One of my favorite place in Porto. I went there twice. The owner doesn’t speak English but one of the waiter was able to speak good English. it provides the best Bollo De Arroz in town in my opinion. I wish I can go there to enjoy breakfast every day

We got a few things from here along with 2 cappuccino. As for the savory stuff, it was great. The beef empanada thing was our favorite with full of flavor. The chicken one we good as well but not as good as the beef one. The cappuccinos were good as well. As for the sweet stuff, the berliner stuffed with Nutella was too sweet for our flavor. A little Nutella goes a long way. The other thing was a cinnamon flavor pastry (recommended by the sweet lady behind the counter), and that was okay and could use a little more cinnamon for our taste. Overall, good place, fair prices and would come back again if in the area.

One of the best places in Porto to eat fresh pastries and yummy sweets. As for the menu breakfast / lunch it’s good but nothing exceptional.
