"This restaurant has brought a breath of fresh air to the area around the port thanks to its enchanting and distinctive decor. With its mirrors, gold-coloured features, glass and open-view kitchen, ConFusion demonstrates its owners’ real attention to detail, which is even more evident in the creative and technically astute dishes prepared by its chef Italo Bassi, making this a truly memorable dining experience. The clean flavours in this chef’s cuisine are the result of precise cooking methods and skill in combining different ingredients to create balanced and elegant dishes. Sardinian ingredients are to the fore here, with raw fish, top-quality meat, oysters and caviar all featuring on the menu, accompanied by excellent wines and a good selection of renowned champagnes." - Michelin Inspector

Confusion in Porto Cervo is the perfect spot for lunch with a view right on the port. The octopus salad was on point, the lobster pasta was incredible, and the mussels were super tasty. The vibe is modern and stylish without trying too hard – great food, beautiful setting, and a place you’ll definitely want to come back to.

Food was well prepared (but nothing special), and service was very professional. Unfortunately the place is rather outdated (decor, idea, atmosphere and clothing of the staff). It is also very difficult to understand the starring with Michelin guide. Unfortunately we are not returning. We had lunch and were the only customers. All the beat for the new ideas and fresh future.

Only a few tables filled with people, food was (in our opinion) not on a Michelin star level and the wine pairing was nothing special at all. For around 400€ per person (including wine paring and the L menu) you could definitely expect more.

This restaurant was such a disappointment. First of all, I came in to dine on my own and although multiple tables were open, I was put in a far off corner. When I asked if I could be seated at another table the chef/owner seemed very annoyed and refused. Because I had read some good reviews, I stayed in case the food was worth it and chose the €200 menu. The food was not worth it. The chef sends all sorts of grissini, bread, crackers to try and distract you from the fact that the food is not great. The seafood appetizers given at the start of the meal were decent. The scallop wrapped in a pancake was interesting but nothing to write home about. The pasta I was served was basic with just olive oil on it and spritz of something that I could not taste. The fish was bland. The only nice thing I have to say is that the waitstaff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I truly think the only reason this restaurant is still open is because the hostess and the waiters and waitresses were extremely attentive and polite. Last but not least, the decor was tacky. If you want a meal full of flavor and texture, I would not waste your money here. P.S. They were not reserving the other tables for other diners, I was the last one to arrive for dinner that evening and I arrived around 8:30pm which is a normal time to dine in Sardinia. The chef was such a grouch, so much so that it was like he was a cartoon character.

This restaurant exemplifies fine dining with perfect service, neat presentation, and high-quality products. The owner is both friendly and knowledgeable about wine. However, it is more expensive than a typical 1-star Michelin restaurant when ordering a la carte (and especially if you want a good bottle of wine); which is understandable given its location in Porto Cervo—a hotspot for the wealthy. If you're not looking to spend over 500 euros for two, you may want to consider other options on the island.

The best Michelin star restaurant I have visited. Service is over the top. Every dish is piece of art.

Google
World class food as you would expect from a restaurant with such high accolades. Beautiful service, wonderful location. Great attention to detail with the decor. Just be warned that even for a Michelin starred restaurant this place is expensive. I supposed that is what you'd expect from a fine dining restaurant in an expensive part of and expensive island but it still caught us a little off guard. The menu could be a little more transparent about the cost of the additional item, cheese, wine etc.

Google
Exquisite good, excellent wine pairing and overall the kind of experience one can expect from a Michelin star restaurant. I had seen some of the bad ratings, and I’m happy that I ignored them and chose to visit. I do not think that the low ratings are justified.

Yelp
Had a fun meal here with my family. They have an a la carte menu but we decided on the chef's surprise. You can order one of four surprise menus, each has a different number of dishes. What was particularly nice is my daughter is a vegetarian and she had the same options. I also noticed at other tables that some people ordered a la carte and others the surprise menu, again nice that the whole table can order what they want. I enjoy amuse bouchée and that was one of the highlights of the meal. We started with five different amuse bouchée, all of them excellent and interesting. Even with only the large menu, it seemed as if we got many more courses than I was expecting. Also enjoyed a reconstructed caprese salad, a tomato stuffed with cheese. Service was efficient and friendly. Overall, an excellent experience.

Yelp
We ate off the al a carte menu. our dishes included the lobster tagliolini which was very good, the spaghetti all Chitarra (also very food), the risotto with raw red prawns (good), the seabass which was okay, the monkfish (good) and the lamb shops (good). The many breads and amuse bush dishes were all fairly successful as were our desserts. Service was good, with some nice presentations. The indoor/outdoor setting was lovely. The only complaint was the pricing. With an inexpensive bottle of wine and three drinks, our total bill was 700 euros for three which was high compared to other one star Michelin star restaurants in Sardinia.

Yelp
Having spent three glorious days in Sardinia (tropical paradise) My friend and I decided we would splurge on a Michelin recognized restaurant. The food was delicious, but later that night I woke up violently ill as did my companion. The only thing that we both ate was the appetizers and desserts. I contacted the restaurant and was told "sorry, but we only use fresh ingredients, hope you come back again." This is not the response I had hoped for. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Food poisoning

Yelp
The best fusion food, try the chefs menu, not too much food and The taste heavenly. Definitely a must go
