"They serve signature beers and feature a hearty, pub-approved menu loaded with pretzels, burgers, and (of course) sausages. You can enjoy all of that and watch the game at the bar - which also happens to feature a stained-glass window, in case you’re looking to pray for this Hail Mary to work." - kat hong, james montgomery

Atmosphere was kind of a contemporary roadhouse bar and grill. Cathedral ceilings with structural beams exposed. The menus we were given were pretty shot out. The host had neat, new ones in his hand but opted to hand us beat up ones and instructed us to use the QR code. The website was not very phone friendly. we could not zoom in and the text was very small. Our waitress was delightful. the food was of good quality. I had the Diablo burger. It is made from ribeye. Although it tasted great, there was nothing Diablo about it. My partner had the carne asada fries. She described it as bland. I found it to be tasty. We agreed that it was just missing a spicy profile. My partner had the margarita sampler. they were all rimmed with chamoy and tajin. Although they were all tasty, you could tell they were made from syrups from a vendor. For the price, this is fair and expected. I know got photos of the margaritas fresh, and then an aftermath photo. Sorry for that. We visited Friday night, May 9 2025.

Congregation Ale House used to be one of the best breweries in the area. Belgian beers, incredible food and friendly staff made this place a pasadena staple. The congregation sign may still be out front, but this place could not be further from the congregation we once knew and loved. The food was awful. The prices were insane. Did I mention there was ONE server and ONE cook for 12-15 customers? Awful experience. The new ownership should be ashamed of themselves for ruining a Pasadena institution and still having the audacity to call it Congregation. We won’t be back.

Shawn Sheng

Google
The value for food here is absolutely insane. It is obvious they make most of their money from drinks, which is good for people like me who don’t drink. A double bacon cheeseburger with a mountain of fries for only $22, and let me tell you the burger was massive. Really delicious and the environment gives good vibes with good service. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a decent number of TVs showing sports games.

Google
I’d give zero stars if I could. My wife and I came here yesterday afternoon. First off, I ordered a flight and when it was brought out I got no explanation of which beer was which so that what annoying. Then we ordered an appetizer with the meat on the side. They couldn’t get that correct so we sent it back and they just flipped it over and scooped the meat off. Real classy especially since the place was dead. Then my wife’s salad came out with no silverware. We kindly asked for silverware. We received a spoon since apparently all their silverware was dirty… it was again not busy and we couldn’t believe that someone didn’t just wash a fork real quick. We never got a fork. The service sucked. We will never dine at this establishment again. Horrible first experience. I never leave reviews but it was so bad that this morning I felt like it was necessary. Don’t waste your time or money at this location.

Google
First off, Saturday late afternoon. Pretty much empty. After a bit of debate, decide to to sit and grab a bite with an Old Fashioned. Right on the menu in front of me they list various drinks with Makers Mark, so seems like a safe bet. No Makers Mark. So I get it with Bulleit. They bring me a glass practically empty, with the equivalent of crushed ice. Not appetizing in the least. Ordered a Cobb Chicken Salad. The chicken was good, but not chopped, which is fine, but all I was given was a fork. Not big issues, just little thing after little thing. No ambiance. No people. Not really very friendly. Music would go out and the few of us in there would just sit in silence (the one small TV on the wall playing the Rams game was muted. Unfortunate, because Ive been meaning to come here for a while, and won't likely be back.

Google
At first glance, this spot seemed promising. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill quickly. When we walked in, there was no greeting or acknowledgment from staff even though an employee was visibly sitting on their phone. The menus were dirty and worn. As a fan of Hazy IPAs, I was excited to try one, but it was a letdown. It seemed like the keg was nearly empty. they poured whatever was left, and it tasted flat and off. The plate I was given had food stuck to it, which was really unappetizing. The food seems to be freezer food that you could make better at home. Most of the food we got tasted freezer burnt and dry. Overall, the food quality was very poor and overpriced. The staff didn’t seem invested in the customer experience. It felt like they didn’t really care, with some continuing to scroll through their phones even when guests were clearly present. To top it off, the women’s restroom was dirty and lacked toilet paper, seat covers, and paper towels. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Really unfortunate visit. there’s a little potential here, but the service, cleanliness, and food quality need serious attention. Won’t be coming back due to multiple issues with this place. There are plenty of more deserving business's around.

Google
Congregation Ale House was a delight! The food and drink names are very on theme and clever. The staff were all very nice. The food was delicious! The pizza crust was fluffy and flavorful, the tots were perfectly crispy, the chicken sandwich was delicious, the pretzel was salty, warm and dunking in the cheese sauce was a chefs kiss. I had the forbidden fruit beer, it was tart, fruity and crisp! Free parking in a large lot, located very conveniently! Would recommend and plan on coming back!!

Google
Cool outdoor seating, friendly service, and the food was AWESOME! Had the double bacon cheese burger with fries. Seriously, I don't know ANYONE who has a big enough mouth to take a bite of this MONSTER BURGER, and the beef patties were like eating a steak! Fries were great, too! A MUST try if you're in the area.

Yelp
Stopped by on Saturday, 04/12/25 for dinner! We were seated immediately. Ordered the following: - 4 Orale beers = $40 - 1 margarita flight = $35 - 1 calamari = $17 SUBTOTAL = $82 TAX = $8.38 TIP = $12.30 TOTAL = $102.68 ** paid by my amazing bf ** :') We wanted to order some nachos however they were out (all good). This place is a very special place and will forever warmth my heart to the fullest. I personally really enjoyed my margarita flight, and my boyfriend enjoyed his 4 beers.

Yelp
A Jon Taffer bar if there ever was one. It's hard to tell if this is pre or post makeover, but either way, it needs help. Pizza was good, happy hour drinks were decent, however the limited beer selection at an ale house on the happy hour menu was disappointing. Will return though

Yelp
The overall experience wasn't great. When we first walked in, the place seemed dirty. When it came to service, our waiter seemed distracted while taking our order.he kept looking away and not giving full attention. Our suspicion was right when the food didn't come right. We had to send stuff back. Our cups were dirty and we had to send those back as well. It came to the point where it felt awkward to ask for things to be corrected because there were so many mistakes. Food quality wasn't great either. The asada on the nachos was very chewy and fatty. Also nothing came with guacamole while the menu said that it did. Again, just not a great experience unfortunately.

Yelp
Time to tell it like it is other negative reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. We came here on a special event day expecting at least the basics to be in place -- instead, it was a complete disaster. They ran out of stuffing (on an event day??), which was one of the main reasons we came in the first place. No apology, no explanation, just "we're out" like it was normal. But the worst part? The waitress. No smile, no greeting, no basic customer service whatsoever. It felt like we were bothering her just by being there. No check-ins, no refills, and a nasty attitude anytime we asked a simple question. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. Poor planning, poor service, and poor value. Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else.

Yelp
+3 for service, drink and food. -2 for the facility lacking AC AND fans inside the hall during a 90+ °F week, it was miserable and my michelada got warm too quickly. TL;DR: Appetizers are good, service is friendly, michelada and beer rec were great, but the overall experience was stale and uncomfortable . Best to avoid grabbing a drink here for the rest of the summer unless you can find a seat outside. Food: 3.5/5 generous servings and tasty. We got asada fries and a quesadilla. Pretzels were sold out. Drinks: 4/5 michelada was great, beer rec based on my preference was perfect. Too bad the drink got warm real quick cause it was sweating balls in that hall. Service: 4/5 staff were friendly and attentive. Facilities: 2/5. Sweating balls.

Yelp
Here for SuperBowl Sunday. They couldn't get the tvs working smh, for the first part of the game only one TV showing the game. Ladies room has no toilet seat covers and no paper towels. They don't have most of the beer available and same with the apps, not many of the selections are available. Sigh. I was told no chips and guac so I opted for Asada fries instead thinking they had no chips and lo and behold my Asada fries came with NO GUAC. Ughhhh.

Yelp
After a few hrs at the Flea Market we came here and you can't go wrong with a brewery. To be honest at first when we walked in there was only one server attending all the tables and we were a group of 9 so I immediately thought this is going to take a long time. To our surprise our server was Amazing in every way and spoke Spanish as well and was very professional and attended to everyone as they were coming in. He took our order and there were 3 line cooks in the back so we were very impressed with their service and they were so fast to get our food and drinks out. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a order of their wings and their Ceviche with a side of chips & a side order of their sliders that were probably the best I've had they were juicy, flavorful and their fries that it came with were good served with ranch and ketchup. Either brewery's sometimes their food can be a miss but this place had it all and we would def be back when in the area. Bathrooms were small but clean. They had their own parking lot and finding parking wasn't a problem. They had outdoor seating as well if you wish to sit out there it was a nice area to hang with friends.

Yelp
Don't let the petite wait staff full you, the food here is amply sufficient to feed you and then some. I visited in a Thursday evening and the restaurant was not too busy. The indoor and outdoor seating was about a 1/3 full. There are TV's up high for you to watch any game from all angles of the restaurant. The beer selection is plentiful with a wide range of pale ales and craft beers to choose from. My double bacon cheeseburger was HUGE, I could only finish half of it. It was a good tasting burger, great charred meatiness and cooked just right. The fries are good, I asked for extra crispy and they delivered, however, the chef was a little heavy handed on the salt. The ceviche was good and it was also a LARGE serving. It was fresh (no fishy smell) and filled us up. Even though the restaurant wasn't full parking was a little challenging. When it's busy I'd imagine you'd have to park at the metro station and walk across. I would come back simply for the burger!

Yelp
Never coming back here, waited 30 mins !!!! Waiter just gave us the menu and never comeback

Yelp
My first time ever, this place deserves no stars. Latitude 33 was flat, the guacamole was spoiled/acidic. The Pacifico dripped out, the michelada not good. The wings had no color to them. We did not even order any food/dinner and left. The website said Happy Hour...one wrap. Said no, one person said only on house beer...we were there during Happy Hour time...please see previous reviews (tables were dirty). Did not speak up because it was not my "party", big mistake!!!

Yelp
Booked a 5 pm reservation on the way to the Dodger game. Place was dark and closed. Why would you accept a reservation? Not recommended.

Yelp
I threw my hubby a small surprise bday party here during their Wednesday trivia night and we had such a blast! Staff were wonderful and handled our party of 9 very well - vibes were lively and fun and the trivia was awesome! I came away very impressed with how well they took care of our party. I knew I wanted to do a trivia night bc the hubby enjoys trivia - but gosh I had a heck of a time finding one in the area. Congregation is one of the few that do one weekly and take reservations for it. Their reservation system is through Yelp and very easy to use. I was able to modify the size of my group as needed and they were great about communicating and keeping me updated. Could not have gone more smoothly! They have new owners and are changing up their menu...we loved everything we tried. To start, they bring out complimentary chicharrones and salsa verde which is fantastic- as well as samples of ale on tap for everyone wow! Our group tried the pub pretzel, congregation salad with shrimp, fries, bbq chicken pizza, and quesadillas- all lovely. I'm not usually a fan of bbq pizza but theirs is awesome - I loved it! And the Congregation salad with shrimp was so delicious! My fave thing we tried. For my hubby's bday, they gave him a birthday shot AND a plate of bday churros!! Such a nice touch and really made his night haha!! Our server Kyle and manager Ed took great care of us - everyone was so lovely to our party. The trivia is every Wednesday from 7-9pm and is such a blast - highly recommend!! We started off with 9 teams, then down to 7, and finally a tie between one of our teams - the "Sisters B" and another team - and we won the tie breaker!! Woohoo!! The prize with a $25 gift card to the restaurant which they let us apply to our bill. Super fun night and successful surprise party for my better half - tysm to all the staff and all our friends for such a great night!!

Yelp
Congregation Ale House is under new ownership. Gone are the days when you order at the bar and have your food/beverage delivered to your table. Instead, you check in with the host and will be seated at a table with an attentive server to take care of your dining needs. Once you are seated complimentary Chicarrones with Salsa Verde are provided along with a complimentary shot of a seasonal IPA. I recently came here for a surprise birthday celebration. It also happened to be Trivia Night. We were a party of 9 and were seated on the patio. Our server was Kyle, and he was AMAZING! Super star employee on all levels! He was friendly, personable, attentive, & helpful with menu recommendations. He wanted to make sure we were happy with everything we ordered and said he would fix it if we weren't. He even brought the birthday boy a complimentary Mexican Candy shot. Ed, the manager, was also fantastic - checking in on tables and pitching in when necessary. Our side of the table ordered: Pretzel with Queso, Quesadilla (one regular & one with shrimp), Congregation Salad, BBQ Chicken Pizza, & a side of fries. Cocktails: Raspberry Mojito, Paloma, French 75, Mocktail Mojito, & a Mocktail Ginger Mint Paloma. All the food looked tasty and was nicely presented. The Pretzel was soft, warm, & yummy. The Shrimp Quesadilla was stuffed with medium size shrimp. The Congregation Salad & BBQ Chicken Pizza both received rave reviews. My French 75 was spot on, and the Raspberry Mojito was delicious. For some reason (it's happened more than once), I order the simplest thing on the menu, and it arrives last. (Kinda like Charlie Brown on Halloween - "I got a rock.") In this case it was the fries. LOL! It's all good as long as I have a cocktail. Once I received them, they were hot. The fries were medium thickness with a soft center. They were nomalicious, especially when dipped in ranch. Trivia started around 7 p.m. and we had so much fun. I couldn't stay until the end, but I found out the next day that our team, Sisters B, won the tie breaker and received a $25 gift card toward our meal. Woot woot! That's my girls! *Parking in the lot or nearby street parking *Taco Tuesday: $10 for 2 tacos & 1 Beer.

Yelp
FYI: This restaurant was just bought out and the menu has changed. The new owners have made some adjustments to make your experience here even better. Last night was my first time here. Our server Kyle was awesome. He took very good care of our table along with Miguel. He took time to inform us about the new service regime. We were here for a birthday party and Trivia night hosted by Greg. Soooo much fun! Inside is an open concept with high ceilings. Very rustic with stain glass windows, wood bar and high top tables. The menu is your typical gastro bar food with some specialty drinks. We ordered a few quesadillas, fries, beer pretzels and a salad. Everything was delicious and a decent size portion. The drinks were also a good size. Yay! *Greg was a great Trivia host 7-9pm Wednesdays We were "The Sisters B," playing against over 8 groups. It came down to the "actrivias" and us. Tie breaking point went to The Sisters B! Woo hoo!!! We won a $25 gift card to the restaurant. We applied it to the bill. *Plenty of free parking in the lot after 6:00 pm *Each person gets a free shot of their home made brew (21 & up ofc) *Great for small and larger parties. *Friendly & Quick service. *Vegetarian options

Yelp
What happened to this place? It used to be so alive and poppin'! Now it's dirty and dilapidated. My husband said the men's restroom was a mess, the urinal was out of order, the stall was filthy, and sink didn't have any paper towels. My experience in the women's restroom was also a mess, with toilet paper rolls and toilet paper wrap all over the floor - on top of one of toilets being clogged. When we ordered the carnitas pizza, the server said he had to ask the cook if they had the ingredients to make it? Thankfully they did, but when we got it, it was extremely greasy and needed to be a cooked a bit longer. When I asked the server for a diet Pepsi, he notified me they were out of that, plus 3 other sodas, so I just got water, which tasted like toilet tap water. When we wanted a refill we had to go up to the only server who was attending the whole restaurant as well as bartending to get serviced. They were severely understaffed. Menus were unreadable so we had to scan the QR code, the place had a bad smell, everything looked like it needed a wipe down, seats were sticky, upholstery was severely destroyed on several chairs, no sports on tv, they were all either off or had the menu up. The atmosphere is not inviting like it used to be. Very run down. Sadly, this will be the last time we will be coming here.

Yelp
You guys seriously need to update your hours on here! It says you're opened! I walked over from hotel and only 1 car in the parking lot! It's an employee I think! This is the worst! Update your hours on Yelp! Why did I even waste my time walking here? Yeah it was an employee who came out? "We're closed!" Yeah update your hours! Tell the management to fix the hours or the owner or whoever! Making people walk here for nothing! That is lame as Hell!!!!!!

Yelp
We just moved to the neighborhood so I was happy to have a beer joint so close. Sadly, this was a major disappointment. We ordered our beers and the server told us they were out that one. My buddy couldn't decide so he went in to see the list. He asked the bartender what was like the one we ordered and he said that they had that beer. Server seemed completely confused about a lot. I ordered chicken tenders, they were whatever, but they came with ranch and I'm not joking when I say it came with a tablespoon sized serving. That would've been OK for ketchup since it had like 10 fries. After the food came we never saw our server again. We waved someone down and we ordered a couple of ambers. They brought us these straw colored beers. I was like "uh, this isn't what we ordered, we ordered ambers". He was like "that's the amber". Spoiler alert - it was not an amber. I know this because, first of all, it literally wasn't amber, and second, because 5 minutes later another person came to the table with two beers and said "did you guys order some ambers?" So, yeah. This place ain't good.

Yelp
It's been ages since I've been here although I didn't come here for the food just for beer. Place is vibey but definitely could use updated features like new chairs maybe new countertops. If you wanna drink a beer and chill out this would probably be the place.

JJ P.

Yelp
The location and parking are primo, especially for Pasadena. As far as the service, menu selection and food quality those are not up to par based on the experience.

Nelson E.

Yelp
Fun night! Beers are great, food is great. Karaoke night was a blast! Definelty check this place out. Happy hour all night on Thursdays!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stopped in for a beer after doing some shopping and a walk through the park. We only planned to have one, but we were kindly offered to try a new cider on the menu and were given complimentary chicharrones and salsa. There was a nice outdoor patio, but we opted for indoors. There are plenty of screens to watch sports (or Bachelor). Hope to come by again soon!

Yelp
Food was quite tasty, very much like other quality brew pubs. The service was fine. No complaints at all. We sat on the deck outside, which was delightful. (Okay, right by the parking lot, but still nice.) Prices were decent. Beer was quite good. I would gladly come here again, no question.

Yelp
Went in for brunch just before noon. We were only guest there. The three of us each ordered off brunch menu. Apparently they cook one dish at a time. There was a good five minutes between each item coming out. Huevos Rancheros beans cold, eggs ordered over easy came out sunny side up, sour cream was missing. Breakfast potatoes were more than half bellpeppers. Woman's bathrooms barely had any toilet paper.
google avatar

Ralph Z.

Yelp
This place has gone way downhill. Used to be a good spot. Now it's understaffed, shitty techno music, half the TV's were off, no females seemed to be working there like the good old days. Bad vibes. Never going back. Peace.

Yelp
This has become our business meeting spot. We come early, grab a corner outside and a server will check in with us every so often. We like coming here because their service is impeccable, they have their own parking lot and their selection of drinks is massive. We started getting their mimosa flights as they have a bunch of different juices to pick from. The chilaquiles are good, the very berry pancakes are delicious and the portions are big.
google avatar

Queena C.

Yelp
Really misleading? Both Google and Yelp say that they close at 10pm, yet we arrived at 8:40pm and they came out to tell us they're closed. The least they can do is update their time so people don't come.

Robin Z.

Yelp
Service was abysmal. For a party of two, we were given 1 beat up menu that you could not even read. Our booth seats were sticky and the waiter cleaned off the table with a dry paper towel. Waiters were inattentive, so we walked out.
google avatar

Jess J.

Yelp
So disappointing. This use to be the go to place for a great HH with awesome beer. Their pretzel with beer cheese was the best around. Not anymore. Won't be going back.

Melina V.

Yelp
It's been a while since we've been and the establishment had gone downhill. Ambiance was okay but the space needs a remodel. The restaurant was understaffed but the staff did their best to keep up. The food was terrible. I'd like a refund if possible.

Robert F.

Yelp
First attempted visit. Standing here, doors locked, no one answering the phone, no note on the door... hours wrong? Closed Mondays? Lost your lease? What's the scoop? (One star because it's required.)
google avatar

Patrick G.

Yelp
Aesthetic is original and very European. We came in late night after our shift to get some drinks and snacks since it said they close at 2. AFTER buying drinks, we asked about the food options and we're told they were closing early and it wasn't even midnight. We were rushed out as they cleaned up around us. I think they should've let us know they were closing before we sat down and ordered a drink. Thanks for nothing, next place on the list.
google avatar

Cyn V.

Yelp
It's been awhile since I've been here, but now I know I wasn't missing anything. The food quality has really gone down. My food was cold and flavorless. The grilled chicken sandwich tasted like it had been microwaved to lukewarm. The appetizer sampler was a waste of $28. I could forgive the horrible service if the food was good, but there was nothing to redeem this place tonight. There's plenty of other options in Pasadena to get a higher quality overpriced meal.
google avatar

Emiliano S.

Yelp
Food - pretty good actually, beer - slightly above average selection. Well done cooks and back house. Bartenders and service - trash. Don't come. Food does not outweigh service.
google avatar

Yelp
Really good selection of brews. Delicious food, nice portion sizes. Good customer service.

Yelp
Walked in on a Friday pretty early around 4-5pm. Place was pretty much a ghost town. The manager said pick where ever we'd like. I was with a large group of about 15 people. We picked outside. I feel bad for the manager as he was the ONLY one who showed up to work that day in the front. Looked like the whole kitchen was there though. It was a hassle to order food. He wasn't having a good day. And I understand that we all have bad days. However you're still at work and should be professional when you're watching and managing a business. This was not the case. Barely any service. When food did finally arrive... well The cheese burger. It was fresh. But WAY to overcooked. But it was seasoned. And all the condiments/veggies were fresh. Ceviche. Probably JUST made didn't marinate in the lime juice enough to fully cook itself. Couldn't even eat it. But it looked cool. So overall what's the 3 stars for? cleanliness. Place is clean. Bathroom is clean. tables etc everything was clean. Would I recommend going here? I mean.. check it out see how your experience is. Could be different on another day. However I won't be returning.

Buddy M.

Yelp
We went to give them a second chance and we were told our "service Dog was NOT allowed" ADA Lawyers have been contacted! We left. Never again... pls. be warned and tell everyone!!!

Yelp
Congregation used to be such a great place, with good food and service. I went on 2/8 and it was a terrible experience. I should have known right away, because when we walked in the place was empty. Most of the menu items weren't available - it took actually took 4 attempts of trying to order before I finally found something that was actually available for order from the kitchen. The wine was cheap, flat, served in a dirty glass. There was one server, and he was doubling as the bartender! I will never go back. It's obvious there was a change in management. Save yourself the pain, and stay away.

Yelp
What's up: Hanging out with the gang to grab some drinks and food. The last time we were here, we had a bad experience, but this time it was loads better. They recently had a management change so things are a bit different. Now they're Congregation Brewery and Cocina. Parking: There is parking right up front. It can get full pretty fast but there's also street parking and paid parking structures nearby. Environment: Outdoor and indoor dining available. We sat inside and were taken care of by Kyle. He was awesome: friendly, fun, and totally cool! Music was a bit loud so we had to shout to hear each other. A bit of waiting before food/drinks arrived. Restrooms are located to the right of the building and they had several TVs hanging on the walls. We had a weird table that was extra sticky to the point where the menu got stuck to it...oops lol. Their menu might be updated by now, but the one we had had lots of fun grammatical errors :) What was ordered: - Bacon Tots (crispy and good) - Asada Fries (good) - Brussel Sprouts with Chorizo (it was ok) - Brewhouse Pizza (good) - Topa Topa Nitro Milk Stout (creamy) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Definitely a better experience this time around. Kyle was the best and he made sure we had everything that we needed. Food and drinks were good and despite the weird sticky table and funny menu, things were pretty good. Credit cards are accepted.

Lori W.

Yelp
Had some pizza that was very good. And large variety of beer. But we were there around 5.30pm on a Thurs and there was one person working the place: He was the waiter & bar tender. And not the best. Just be sure you're not in a rush of super thirsty.

Yelp
I must agree with the other recent reviews, this place went downhill. The beer list is half what it used to be, and they were out of many of the ones they had. The service took forever, we waited nearly an hour for waters, though beer and food were a bit faster. The fries smelled of fish, meaning the oil was old and reused for everything. I like that they had trivia, and the decor is the same as before, but it's definitely not the same place.

Yelp
I love that they were playing any football game you requested BUT it smelled like wet rag throughout whole place. Beers were good. We didn't order food. The waitress with the tattoo on her chest was super sweet. The waitress with the botch BBL didn't come ask us if we needed anything once and we held the door open for her when she had full hands and didn't even say thank you. So over all, if you want to watch the games I guess I'd maybe suggest this place but don't expect much

Yelp
Came here with a large group of friends for a celebration--it was only us and one other party in the place. Next day it turned out that everyone who opened a tab had additional false charges on their cards, where someone behind the bar went on a shopping spree. Zero stars for blatant theft!

Yelp
Love this place! Panchito is the best! He's cute, friendly, funny and he makes the best drinks! If you're looking for good food, good music for a reasonable price come to Congregation Pasadena.

Yelp
Overall, the beer and pizza were good. The downside is that there was one server for a full restaurant, so service was slow and non-personal.

Yelp
Unfortunately Congregation has seen better days. The staff were nice, but they seemed confused and ill prepared for guest. When asking a question, they would often times shrug or smile, as if they did not know what to say. When ordering drinks, they had no idea how to make basic drinks, nor how to make the drinks on their menu. They also seemed to be out of a lot of ingredients, which made ordering even more complicated. Beyond that, mid drink and conversation they would come up to us and ask us to close our tabs. As of if they were ready for us to go, even though we were still very fresh and barely getting comfortable. I still have a full drink and 4 mozz sticks! I felt pressured to get going. The place was quite empty for a Saturday night, which now makes a lot of sense now. I wish I would have enjoyed my experience more. I don't think I'll be going back for a while.

Yelp
They need new management. BIG TIME! Went last Saturday midday, where their was only 5 tables. it was slow needless to say- The waitress was checking her phone / not sure if the lashes she had were blocking the view, but it took her a while to get our order. we only had 1 beer and left asap! This place needs a good promoter and a live dj on the weekends to wake the staff up! I give it 1 year before they shut down otherwise.

Yelp
I was looking for a dog friendly place to grab a quick bite and some beer. Came here early Sunday afternoon. Easy, designated parking lot. They had an outdoor patio with bench type seating. Great place to bring your dog. Friendly staff and great service. Unfortunately, the pizza we ordered wasn't great. The toppings were plentiful and fresh but the crust tasted like supermarket pizza. Nevertheless, some of the other food I saw others eating looked good. Their complementary chicharrones were light and delicious. We will definitely be back to try some of their other items, especially because of their wonderful service and friendly staff.

Yelp
Utterly delightful and, for us, a miracle! We watched the Rose Bowl parade and were wandering the streets, looking for a place to eat lunch, along with 800,000 other parade watchers. Every place is packed. We ended up walking about 8 blocks and then stumbled on this place. Not crowded, looked inviting, and had "Ale House" in its name. We were sold. Surprisingly, in addition to being there, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. I had the double bacon cheeseburger and a beer. TI was expecting a sandwich with two 1/4 lb patties. That was wrong, What I got was a burger with what I believe were two 1/2 lb patties of properly cooked and seasoned ground beef, along with lots of bacon and a tasty sauce. The beer was cold. All in all, we'll aim for this place after the next parade and make a point of stopping in whenever we can before then.
