This is the Main Street in Austin has many cafes, restaurants and shops, the south part is more favorable.

I Am Truly Blessed Because, today I had the pleasure of taking this picture of the "Only Thing That Matters In Life." LOVE... Yesterday I stopped on Congress and Cesar Chavez to thank 2 amazing, kind "Jehovah Witnesses!" Please Forgive Me, but the woman's name was...Samantha however, I repeated this GOD LOVING Young Man's name but, he was So Genuine, So Wise and Intellectually The Depth Of Compassion, and So Humble...he then asked if he could give me ("A Hug?") If anyone could please tell him: Only BY God's Grace...did I not only say yes....I Needed A Hug Due To The Trauma I Am Still Suffering at Ladybird Apt Complex! Could anyone from Jehovah Witnesses Tell me his name or give him my name on Goggle Maps??? Please!!! Please? 🙏🏾 I want The World To Know....I Believe In GOD & His Son Jesus. However, I usually take "The Time," to tell the J.W. verbatim.... "Thank You All For Spreding LOVE," not h-te. They are always out there and even if you don't believe exactly what they believe.... At Least It Is Love That Their Belief Shares!!!! Good & Love To The World...🫂❤️‍🔥🔛🌎

Love the tourists and the variety of businesses they have to offer,,the sight of the capitol building as you get closer to it,is amazing,there are plenty of ppl but not overly crowded.there are plenty of bus stops along the way, not to much parking areas , so it's more convenient to pay for a parking elsewhere then walk congress ave to soak in all it has to offer,, sometime after capitol grounds are closed and congress ave has slowed down many of locals and tourists alike ride scooters throughout the area and enjoy it's night life offering,,I highly recommend sitting on the park benches at the end of congress ave just before you cross the street to capitol grounds ,that's if your looking for a private and romantic moment, seeing the way the states capitol lights up at night is very beautiful and inspiring, there's always something to do here

such a great place to walk around in Austin- there’s something for everyone to look at. There’s also some great night lights- so the evening is the best time to stroll around

One of the coolest streets in Austin! You get the proper Texan feeling there. Restaurant selection is big and delicious. Including amazing stores you only find there. 1 Star less because Parking is insanely expensive. One spot was 1h for 18$. The parking lot was $14 for 2h. So a bit better. As a tourist with a foreign Simcard, the access will be denied to the webpages and apps they need u to pay through. Only works with American eSimcards but only the webpages not the app. Instead I recommend taking an uber or going with an American😉

This is a great spot at night. I’ve noticed when we were leaving (5:45 pm) more ppl were coming out. To me it’s not kid friendly. More bars and restaurants for 21+. But if you do have kids take 2nd st and walk the strip and you’ll see shopping centers, a candy store, toy store and that’ll be more for kids. Overall it was ok. But I know for future reference go at night and don’t have kids. Ik it’ll be a time to have

From Lake to Capital Building ( south → north ) it will take some days to discover & enjoy it all 🇨🇱✨

Congress Avenue is such an iconic street in Austin, Texas, and it's an absolute MUST-visit when you are visiting ATX! :-) There is so much to see + do in this area, it's fantastic. There are so many great spots to grab a bite, or do some shopping. There are also great views of the Texas Capitol from Congress Ave. The heart of Austin lies on this street - it's the key to the city!!
