We used to frequent this restaurant while we lived in Nashville a few years back and it was always amazing... So when we were in town visiting last weekend we decided to see if it had kept its flare and boy did it not disappoint! The food was incredible, there was not an item we ordered that missed the mark in anyway. The icing on the cake was the top notch service! We were very well taken care of!! I would absolutely recommend!!!

You know this is a nice little date night spot that is slightly high end but doesn't break the bank at the same time. A few minor issues but otherwise an overall good experience. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. Steak and potatoes were enjoyed by both of us. The desert was incredible and highly recommend getting it. Pricey but you know that going into it

Really enjoyed the food. Everything was good. The lobster tail was everything. Whichever chef cooked this lobster should be given a raised. The fried mushrooms were amazing but dipped in their ranch dressing. Steak had great flavor but was cook little bit under but still was a great steak nonetheless.

I’ve experienced Connors prior to this visit, but it was a pick-up order so this was my first time dining inside the restaurant. My boyfriend and I ate lunch here on the weekend without a reservation. Even though we only had about a 15 minute wait, I would recommend making reservations ahead of time. Our experience was a very pleasant one. Our server, as well as our food, were both fantastic! He ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and our server recommended the Chicken Piccata for me and it was delicious! We will definitely return. Great food, ambiance, and service!

Enjoyed this restaurant at the cool springs mall. The bisque had good flavor and nice size pieces of crab and lobster. I enjoyed the Caesar salad and the dressing was light but good. The tuna on the tuna salad was fresh and sushi grade. The salads were also very large. The crab cake was filled with a lot of crab and not breading, which is the mark of a good crab cake. I would give this restaurant a $$$-$$$$ price range.

Went for lunch. Nice place. I got the filet with blue cheese butter and it was incredible! However, I have to ding them on the grilled asparagus. Whoever prepped needs to be taught how to break off the tough, fibrous part. You can't just eyeball it. Bend it and it will break exactly where it should. I wouldn't even mention this if Connors wasn't a higher end steak house where I expect more. Asparagus is one of my favorite vegetables and I paid extra to have them as a side. The taste was good but not great. Sweet tea was on point! I would still gladly revisit.

Made a reservation 2 weeks before showing up. It was at a 3:00 on a Sunday. Arrived on time and had to wait 30 minutes before being seated. Once I was seated, we ordered calamari as an appetizer and ribeye steak for main course and also shrimp scampi. The calamari is over breaded and overcooked. My steak was cooked to perfection but as far as flavoring it's just middle of the road. This place is a classic example of the epidemic of overpriced eateries that have popped up in and around Nashville. Overall, for the value of the food that I got versus the price I would say eat somewhere else. Nothing spectacular except the bill.

Connors is one of the best family friendly restaurants in the Cool Springs area. The steaks are excellent, kid options are a-plenty and the atmosphere in the dining room is really cool. (We were seated in what looked like a banquet room and it was pretty stale.) Service was excellent, I felt like we had the undivided attention of the servers. If you're looking for a spot near the mall and want something more than your typical chains, give Connors a try!

Yelp
I arranged a dinner here for a customer dinner. Richard & his team at Connors were extremely professional and super helpful throughout the planning process months in advance and in choosing menus, etc. We had the front room reserved (by the way- incredible placement so people aren't awkwardly wondering where the group is). The food was fantastic. We had appetizers waiting for us when we sat down, the food tasted great, the drinks kept flowing. We even had drinks afterwards and the service was exactly the same- no complaints I absolutely would come back. Thanks for the great experience and help planning, Richard!

Yelp
My manager found out there are lunch specials here, we have been ordering here a few times to try out their lunch menu and I have to admit their lunch portions are amazing. While I do find their food enjoyable, there has only been 1 out of 3 meals that I have actually enjoyed. My favorite has to be the chicken parm. All of my coworkers who have ordered this, including my manager, have not had anything bad to say. It was amazing. I wish I only ordered this! The portion amazed me, it was almost the size of my head it felt like. The chicken was tender and juicy, the pasta was Al dente and great. Best lunch menu item from our offices point of view (we ALL loved the broccoli as the side with it. It pairs well) The other 2...nothing special. I felt uneasy afterwards. The Boursin Burger and Voodoo shrimp. I was disappointed because I have read other reviews raving about the voodoo shrimp. I guess it just was not my cup of tea. I am giving it 3 stars due to 1/3 of my meals being delicious. If I had only ordered the other 2 first, I don't think I would have tried it again. I am happy I tried the chicken parm first. Their bread is also very tasty! We all love it!

Yelp
came here for a graduation lunch and my initial reaction is that this place has amazing customer service! Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of our waitress; She was shorter with blonde hair. I believe it started with an H was phenomenal! We had a very large party so she was able to ensure that she was attentive to our needs and everything came out at an efficient time. as far as the food, everything we had minus the lobster dip was amazing! The only reason why I'm giving it for stars was simply because of that dish however, if I have the option, I'd give it 4.8 stars! I would stay away from that, but you can't go wrong if you get anything else!

Philip R.

Yelp
Connor's is a go to for me. I love the food, and the great selection of seafood to go with great steaks. I dined recently at the bar and Alex was excellent. We had the Prime strip steaks and they were superb. The prices are reasonable for an upscale steakhouse.

Michele O.

Yelp
Loved the meal so much we had dinner here twice during our 7 day stay in Franklin. The first time we walked in and asked to be tucked in somewhere in the back. There was a really cool water feature in the middle of the restaurant that gave off a cool vibe- bubbles- colored lights- just kinda cool. The staff immediately seated us and brought us warm rolls and our drinks followed right behind. We had the shrimp cocktail and lobster/crab bisque for appetizers- both were delicious. Our main courses were a perfect med rare prime rib with baked potato and tender asparagus. We also had a ribeye steak- this wasn't very good (over cooked and over seasoned)), steamed broccoli and a huge baked potato. The service was very good - there was a big storm while we were there and the restaurant never filled up- so we had our needs met very quickly. The second time that week, we made a reservation and took the family. We already knew the prime rib was delicious so we had that again, the filet medallions, lobster tail, more of that delicious lobster/crab bisque, and crab cakes. All the trimmings as well. All of us enjoyed the meal immensely! The service was a little slower this time- leaving time for conversations , but it was a Saturday night and the place was full. When I return to Franklin this will be on my list for at least one meal.

Yelp
Went for lunch today (Sunday) excellent service and very friendly staff. Our drinks stayed filled, and the atmosphere was very nice. Steak was top notch!! They offer lunch menu even on the weekend which is a huge bonus

Brian P.

Yelp
Amazing food. Always a go to when I'm in Franklin. Tried the crab cakes this time and wasn't overly impressed but their steaks are always amazing!

Aireal S.

Yelp
they don't take big parties. Steaks are always good. Our server started out great then slowly stopped coming by after he delivered our food. We had multiple courses and for some reason they took a while to buss our clear plates / glasses . Overall good experience bc we were there to catch up, maybe better service with smaller groups.

Bernice R.

Yelp
Great date night/ lunch place. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. Service was great, our bartender made us delicious drinks. I ordered the 615 margarita it was really good. I really enjoyed the cucumber taste in it. House salad - 5 / 5 Clam chowder 4 / 5 Bacon cheeseburger and fries 5 / 5 Margarita 4 / 5 Ranch sauce 4 / 5 We will be coming back for sure!

Susan J.

Yelp
Delicious dinner! Parmesan crusted Halibut and the creamed spinach were spot on! Strawberry shortcake dessert finished perfectly! Hailey was a great server, the restaurant is well done and relaxing.

Richard R.

Yelp
NOT THE MAMA!!! That's what Baby Sinclair from the 90's TV show Dinosaurs would scream out to let his dad know he was not his lovely mother! Well, I first fell in love with Connors Shrimp & Grits just a few months ago while driving through Knoxville and stopping for a bite to eat. So when I happened to be in Franklin and heard there was a Connor's location here, I had no choice but to stopped for more of the best shrimp & grits possibly known to mankind! However, "NOT THE MAMA" was all I could think with each & every bite (MAMA in this case would be the Knoxville location). I can't even tell you what was different about this dish because it looked identical to my Knoxville plate, but something was off and that 'OH MY GAWD' taste bud moment turned into 'this is good, but not nearly as delicious as my first encounter.' I would give these Shrimp & Grits 3.8 stars instead of the 5+ stars I gave the first time I tried them in Knoxville. The FRIED GREEN TOMATOES were also slightly less tasty, but the FRIED MUSHROOMS were plentiful and delicious, especially when dipped in the sauce they provided! My wife and I shared the appetizers and grits but she wanted more veggies, so she ordered a side of broccoli. Service was great, but I wish they didn't keep the dining room so dark... at least not during lunch hours. I've never really found dim lighting appealing unless we are at a large dinner event all dressed up. FINAL THOUGHTS Connors is a solid restaurant to order steak & seafood. They are an easy recommendation if you ever find yourself in the charming small town of Franklin, TN. I only wish they had replicated my first Shrimp & Grits experience so I could have scream out "AGAIN" like Baby Sinclair at the end of my meal :-) PS - Crazy as it sounds, the lobster pic was ordered by the couple next to us. It looked so fabulous they allowed me to take a pic for future reference. 2023 / 32

Yelp
We sat at the bar and described excellent service from Alex and Ashley. The lobster bisque was the best I've ever had, my friend had the oysters and was also very pleased. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
My wife and I tried this place for a date night. The atmosphere is nice and the people were friendly. I had the filet and my wife got halibut. I ordered my filet medium plus, and it came out fairly well done. I was apprehensive to say anything, but when I did they were more than understanding. They immediately took that one away and in a fairly short time brought another one. Cooked to perfection! Have no complaints whatsoever with this restaurant. Our server was Ryan and he was excellent on every aspect of our experience. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Made for a great date night.

Charlotte A.

Yelp
The clam chowder and bread rolls are delicious. Our waitress was fantastic. I thought the appetizers were lacking flavor, but everyone else loved them.

Keith H.

Yelp
This is good go to for surf and turf. But I will say I did not have this time around. I chose to eat the smoked chipotle salmon Ceasar salad. For me in Nashville, salmon is hit or miss. But this entree was actually really tasty. I have to say the smoked flavor was really good. A little heavy since I really could not taste any of the chipotle flavor coming thru the meat, but the smoke flavor was very robust. The ceasar salad part was good, light on the red onions as well as the dressing. So flavors were good all the way around.

Mike H.

Yelp
Great food in a classy environment. Service is excellent. We ate in the bar but there are nice booths and tables available. My ribeye was perfect. Salad was good. I have to say one thing though. The restaurants in Tennessee do not have the excellent salads that you get in California. The wedge salad my wife got was okay but not great. I think it's the blue cheese dressing that is lacking. Just not top of the line. Connor's Asiago creamed spinach is phenomenal. Best I have had. Excellent restaurant.

Greg P.

Yelp
Dawson was our server. He did a great job making sure my wife's birthday celebration went well. The food was amazing. We'll definitely come back.

Dionne F.

Yelp
Restaurants in mall areas are never good in my experience, but Connor's was way better than I expected. I ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. The portions was generous, the flavors were bold, and the chops were cooked to perfection. Also ordered the calamari, which was DELICIOUS and the wedge salad, which was super fresh and flavorful. One note, we had to ask for more bread (one piece for 4 people was not enough) and small plates to dish out our appetizers. Other than that, this was a wonderful dining experience, and our waiter Ryan was a vibe!

Bart L.

Yelp
My first time here for a late lunch with the company guys food and service was outstanding. Presentation was beautiful. Highly recommend this place prices was fair. Can't wait to take the Wife for steak dinner. I had the tuna very very good. All appetizers was great calamari and mushrooms.

Tim Y.

Yelp
The food, service, and atmosphere were amazing! Even though it is a little pricey, it is well worth the visit. The filet was cooked and seasoned absolutely perfect! The lobsters was also cooked and seasoned perfectly!

Jeanne G.

Yelp
Really good. Went for lunch. Portions are large. Reasonably priced. Great, quiet atmosphere.

Bryan H.

Yelp
I could come here several different times and it is mostly consistently good. Drinks options are goo, steaks are great, sides are not bad. I'm usually never disappointed. It's not the best steak in the area anymore but I know I could enjoy my dinner here.

Steven G.

Yelp
Wonderful anniversary dinner. Could not have been more pleased with the value. Steaks had excellent seasoning and a wonderful smokey char outside despite perfectly cooked to order medium rare inside! The wedge salad was nicely crisp with tasty homemade blue cheese dressing. Was not expecting complimentary strawberry shortcake, so that was a treat as well. Almost forgot about calamari appetizer that was perfectly done. Service was attentive, and atmosphere was perfect for quiet date out.

Matt L.

Yelp
Great steak house, would prefer it over Perry's but not SPERRY'S only had good service in food but I gave my 5 star to SPERRY'S. Parking is tough here at times.

Richard V.

Yelp
I really like the food here. Service was a bit slow for a Sunday nite. It wasn't too busy but took forever to get our orders. But I have no complaints about the food. I had my heart set on their chopped steak but they were out of it so I went with the seabass. It didn't disappoint at all though, the couscous was delicious, I never had it the way they prepared it. My meal was light and full of flavors. And I loved how reasonable the price is for their food.

William R.

Yelp
I am surprised to see this restaurant so highly rated. My wife and I went there last night with a relative from out of town. The place looked upscale but was nosy and difficult to walk back to our booth. We had to dodge waiters, patrons and hostesses in the narrow passage ways. Our table in our booth rammed up against our stomachs and felt claustrophobic. We switched to a table which was also way too small for all the dishes etc for even a party of three. I had the surf-and-turf as did my wife. My filet was overcooked and was flavorless and mealy. The manager came out right away and ordered up a new filet which arrived after we had all but finished. The lobster tail was a good looking 12 ounces but the "butter" came in a cup that had an un-lit candle at the bottom and wasn't the brown butter taste that inspires one to eat lobster. It might have been some oil. Our guest's prime rib had no taste or flavor. It was almost like the meat had been previously frozen. The waiter though was superb and attentive and they did comp us ice cream and cake to take home or else the review would be one star. We wont go back there again even if we just caught them on a bad night Regards,

Ericah H.

Yelp
We had a reservation for a Thursday evening; however, we still waited a bit when we arrived. Our waiter was nice. The food took quite awhile to arrive. A few guests ordered lobster bisque - it was okay, but there were shells in every bowl. Everyone ordered ribeye and filet mignons, one with espresso rub. They weren't terrible, but you can absolutely get better flavor/quality at other steakhouses for the price. Brussels sprouts weren't great, they didn't have consistent flavor. Some bites were very bitter/acidic. I think my baked potato and daughter's popcorn shrimp may have been the best tasting items we ordered.. skip this restaurant if you're looking for a nice dinner or are celebrating and want something delicious ‍

Debra F.

Yelp
Great food, excellent service. The soups are delicious and the steaks are cooked perfectly. A favorite!

Joe R.

Yelp
Best lunch specials in town. Cheap, delicious, and consistently good. The steak special and spaghetti special are my favorites. Favorite resturant in Franklin.

Wayne T.

Yelp
Great alternative to Ruth's Chris for a great steak. Plus the atmosphere and service were top notch. Went there with a group of 7 to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and it was a great meal.. and for less than we would have spent at Ruth's Chris. In our group we had the rib-eye, Boursin filet mignonette, NY strip, prime rib, and panko encrusted halibut, and lime cilantro shrimp. All were 5 star except the prim rib which I would give 4 stars. The boursin filet was the most tender, and the Boursin preparation gave it a lot more flavor. The roasted cream corn, Mac n cheese, and lobster bisque were all 5 star, the cous cous was a 3 star and as other reviewers have said, it needs some sort of seasoning. But, the service, ambiance, and bang for the buck versus Ruth's Chris warrants a 5 star overall review.

Artie B.

Yelp
Excellent food with diversified menu for steaks, fish &salads.Very informed waiters providing excellent service.Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the foot.

J A.

Yelp
Thought this place was great! I'll admit I thought there was like 15 chefs walking around. Turns out that's just how all the servers dress! I have to say that the folks there were all super nice and were interactive with customers. The were great. I got a the special dry aged Delmonico and I was impressed. I would definitely suggest getting in there and giving Connors a try. My wait staff was awesome but I can't recall her name! Maybe Carly? And the manager walking around was super cool. Both helped suggest things in the area to check out.

Gabriel G.

Yelp
Took my wife here for her birthday per recommendation of my boss, and I was not disappointed even a little bit! I have lived in Tennessee for a little over a year and it was some of the best food I have had out here. Everything seemed to be made from scratch and the quality was top notch. Everything from their bread and soups to their dessert was fantastic. Our service was great as well! I believe our servers name was Zach G. and he was attentive, quick, and a pleasure to speak with. This entire restaurant front to back seems very high quality. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, the manager was dressed very professionally and was extremely nice and the rest of the wait staff was very pleasant. We both have a great appreciation for excellent food and service, so this place checked all boxes and was 5 stars all around. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to everyone we know!

Kay R.

Yelp
I've waited a few visits to leave my review here, but after dinner this past weekend, I'm sold! Always great service, no matter if it's lunch or dinner, classy ambience even thought it's right by the mall, and haven't had a meal I didn't love! The Seabass was cooked perfectly, and the sauce on the Brussel sprouts paired deliciously.

John M.

Yelp
The wine list is large but screwtop. The battered mushrooms were good, but I didn't like the batter. However the Chilean Sea Bass Oscar was done to perfection. The shrimp linguine was a large portion with plenty of shrimp. The service was good, and cheerful. The atmosphere is also good.

Brandon E.

Yelp
The ambiance is very relaxing. Although we did not have a reservation, the hostess managed to seat our party of seven. The waitress was in tasting and was very courteous and friendly. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium well plus. Salad and baked potato was excellent.

Terry W.

Yelp
Good food and service. They have large quantities. It's a popular place and gets busy at popular dining times.

Gloria T.

Yelp
Connor's is my favorite restaurant. They have great salads. Love the chicken Parmesan but with the basil sauce. It swap it out instead of the red sauce. So yummy. Pricing is mid- range. I'd compare pricing to Outback, Red Lobster. But their food is way better. My husband loves their Ribeye steaks. Mac and Cheese is really good as well. Go grab my iPad and my iPad and my glasses.

Kandra S.

Yelp
This place was recommended as a good valentines date restaurant, and it did not disappoint! So many things on the menu tempted us! Service was terrific, and Emma answered every question, kept the food coming, and was friendly and professional. We had the fried mushroom appetizer, the delicious lobster bisque--best ever--and then the shrimp and grits. So good! We finished with a slice of the chocolate mousse cake. I hope we can go again before next Valentine's Day.

Joe C.

Yelp
Food is good, like the happy hour in the bar. Service is very slow is the only negative. Waited a long time between ordering and getting food. Appears they need to hire more staff.

She M.

Yelp
Came here with business colleagues so we have a larger group. They took my reservation graciously. The service was excellent. The steaks were of fine selection and cooked as requested. There were ample of wine selection to pair with delicious meals. Connors delivered.

Courtney S.

Yelp
The food was delicious, the service was awesome, and the portions were huge. I loved the atmosphere. Our server was A1 so you know the tip was . I had the lamb chops, . My other companions had sirloin, salmon, and ribeye. All of the meals included a salad (Cobb) or soup (huge bowls). The fried green tomatoes were bomb. The mushrooms were delicious too. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and I can't wait to come back.

Rick N.

Yelp
The service was OK and the food was just OK. To spend $125 plus tip on food and service that's just OK ...Its not worth it, which might explain why there weren't very many people in the restaurant at 7 PM on a Wednesday night. We had eaten there several times after the restaurant first opened, each time hoping it would get better but eventually stopped for the same reasons. We haven't been back for a number of years and thought we might try it "one" more time to see if it improved. Not a fan. Connors Steak & Seafood - Cool Springs Responded today We strive for 100% guest satisfaction and hope you'll take a moment to send your feedback directly to our managers and owners through our website so they can reach out to you. REALLY...I did my job and wrote the review, do yours and send it to your managers and owners!

Dennis S.

Yelp
Service was friendly but odd. Menus were never removed from the table for the length of dinner. When courses arrived, the wait person would set the new dishes down beside the previous course dirty dishes and then ask if it was ok to remove the dirty dishes. Don't think I've ever seen that before. We were happy to see a wine we particularly like available by the half bottle on the menu, along with several other half bottle options. But when we ordered it, but wait person returned to tell us that the manager said that they do not sell half bottles. They're on the menu. What? Liked the lobster dip, and thought it was imaginative, cool, and tasty, that they were served with shrimp chips. The wedge salad was really chopped, and was topped with a lot of various mostly unrecognizable bits. I'd not order again. Ribeye had a nice flavor. A little on the chewy side, but overall a good cut properly cooked to temperature. We split a loaded baked potato and collards. We had to split them to each of our plates ourselves, which isn't a big deal, but is another sign that Connors is a step down from Perry's and other fine dining steakhouses in the area. Overall not a bad experience, but wouldn't rush back.

Lynn A.

Yelp
The food was very good and excellent customer service. I went during the day for lunch. It was not crowded, just steady and ambiance was very nice. I am planning on going for dinner to get the full experience.

Natalie D.

Yelp
Connor's was ok. I enjoyed the company. I've been before and it was excellent, however, this time, my steak was not at all tender. The sides were good, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Maybe things were hectic in the kitchen at that time, I don't know. I will go back again because the other times I ate there, things were great. (4 times) Well their deviled eggs are HORRIBLE. Other than that, I like Conner's enough to write that night off as a bad day in the kitchen and give them another try.

Peter D.

Yelp
Had the dry aged 16 oz steak rare and it was phenomenal. The truffled deviled eggs were superb. Our waiter, Elijah, provided the best service we've had in a restaurant in quite awhile. His manager should promote him now. The ambiance was very relaxing. Will definitely return.

Hunter D.

Yelp
I had the most incredible dining experience at Conor's Steak & Seafood! What truly made it unforgettable was the exceptional service from our waitress, Carly. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations that satisfied our taste buds. Carly's warm and welcoming demeanor added an extra touch of joy to the evening. The whole dining experience at Conor's, combined with Carly's outstanding service, made it a night to remember. Highly recommended! I ordered the Shrimp and Grits

Tori G.

Yelp
10/10 really enjoyed it I got the lamb chops and was very pleased. The staff took good care of us from the waiter to the manager just coming around to ask how everything was. The decor was warm and inviting.
