Google
This is a great sports bar which has all the major games on the TVs so if you want to watch a game with friends, I highly recommend this place. Their food is also great and they have outdoor seating on the weekends which makes this place a lot of fun. I also tried their chocolate cake and we all loved it. Their service is also top notch, extremely kind and helpful.

Google
Went here to grab a bite before heading to the Michigan game. I was shocked that we got to sit down right away. The food and drinks came in quick after ordering. I got the shepherd pie which was delicious and my wife got the Reuben . Definitely recommend either of those options, the cocktails were kinda expensive, but it is ann arbor. Our server, wish I got her name so I could shout her out , but she was amazing. Whenever we come back to the area, will definitely come back.

not bad but could be better. i think Irish cottage pie is better than sandwiches. chill vibe but might wait 20min for the dish during dinner time

After a long road trip and being really hungry, this place hit the spot. I would definitely drive the 2+ hrs again just for that reuben lol. Adhd the adult cherry coke was really tasty and refreshing on a hot day! Totally recommending this place to friends if they're ever in the area!

Google
Horrid air freshener smell right now! I am here right now and can't taste or smell my food because the scenting is so strong! My eyes are burning and I'm starting to wheeze. I have been coming here for 10+ years and it has never smelled like this! So horrid! I was going to stay and have dessert but need to get into some fresh air. Great way to chase away customers! Don't go there if you have asthma or any breathing issues.

Google
in town for a show at The Ark. Very impressed, service was efficient, friendly and on point. The food was quintessential pub grub, well prepared and delicious. Special note, the potato soup is a must try, luscious and simple, but plenty of smoked bacon! We shared a reuben sandwich, the corned beef was tender, flavorful and obviously cooked in house. Good sweet potato fries too, crispy!!! Great on tap selections. Great atmosphere!!! If it hadn't been raining, we would have opted for the patio, which was street side and very nice. great for people watching.

Google
My burger had burned grease on it which make it bitter taste. That was my second experience with this place. I emphasized about this matter before I order my burger and it is look like it was ignored.

Google
Walked in and before we (10 of us sat down) the waitress was taking our drink orders. Food was awesome.

Yelp
5 star experience. We sat outside and the service was exceptional. The Irish poutine is amazing.

Yelp
Food This was a so-so experience. I ordered an appetizer and a dessert. The food was delicious. The Button Mushrooms, I ordered, were supper tasty; the cream sauce was the best part of it all. It came with lots of bread, which I felt was unnecessary, especially if it's meant to be served as an appetizer. Also, I felt the bread could've been fresher. The Strawberry dessert I ordered was a hearty healthy treat: minus the sugar of course. I didn't order any alcohol, though it's a pub/restaurant. I just wasn't in the mood. So, I can't contribute to the quality of the drinks. Service The service was okay. When I arrived, the female hostess (I'm assuming her position) shuffled through menus to find the cleanest menu which was still dirty in my opinion. However, the fact that she attempted felt nice. My waitress seemed sweet. She didn't mind replacing my glass when I noticed sanitary issues. I did feel a little put off though when I asked for sparkling water and she corrected me, calling it "soda water". Sparkling water is the traditional name of carbonated water. I understand that some call it "soda" or "seltzer" water but that's not what I'm used to. Nonetheless, it doesn't matter really; if a guest orders something and you understand, why make a deal of it? I felt that was a bit condescending. Atmosphere The setup is self-seating. The outdoor seating, which seems to be preferred by most of the restaurant's guests, could use some work. The ground is not leveled properly, which causes many of the tables to rock or be slanted. The interior was very dark but felt very Irish (of course it would). The old wood bar and seating sets the vibe. However, I do feel that the tables of the booths could be updated.

Yelp
Conor's has really grown on me over the years! Good beers, and the food is better than what you imagine typical pub fare to be like. Their Irish style poutine is so good and hearty, with a solid shepherds pie mix along with the fries, cheese, and gravy. Pub wings are good too (would note that hot is not particularly hot). Michigan salad was alright - I did appreciate this was a little different than what I usually see for a Michigan salad, but maybe a little heavy handed on the creamy dressing and goat cheese. Didn't order this time, but I also like getting Fish & Chips here, especially as they have malt vinegar for the chips. A very solid option for a casual dining spot. Does sometimes get quite busy, but I think in later hours. Several years ago I went on St Patrick's Day night, and it was absolutely packed. So depending on if you like that or not, go early or later!

Yelp
The food was really good. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and awesome. Our waitress was good. I ordered the fisherman's pie. It was super delicious. I would go back there again good. Ps I like the Irish violin music

Yelp
Came in on a trivia night, the staff was super attentive and the food was well priced for the area!

Yelp
This is a nice cozy Pub. Good food. Good service. I had the lamb stew and my wife had the chicken Pot pie. They had a decent beer list.

Yelp
I was stopped at the back door, near the handicapped parking. A polite young man at the door asked if I had a VIP pass, and told us (in spite of my obvious handicap) that I would have to go around the block and enter from the front. That was too long a walk for me, so we left.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. It was not busy. I had a Black & Tan (not well poured, ) and the potato leek soup. I love the soda bread that comes with the soup. They do the soup their own way, which I appreciate. And, for a bowl of soup for $5 (in 2023) it is one of my gems in Ann Arbor. Yummy. My kids love the Big House Burger when we come. Traditional Irish Pub which has been around enough to be getting an authentic pub feel. The tables are getting beat up, but feel solid. There are various tables for different size parties, and lots of standing room with ledges to set down a beer. It is a bit dark on the inside (as it should be), but they have added patio seating to enjoy the sun with the black and tan. Conor O'Neils is one of our Go-To s in Ann Arbor. We can generally get a table. Food is always good. Service is always good. And, they usually know how to pour a black & tan.

Yelp
Ordered Salmondinners with whipped potatoes and vegetables. Salmon was excellent while everything else on the plate was cold and not edible. Serve nice, but no suggestions. I might go back, but too many good restaurants to select from rather than take a chance.

Yelp
Got the Irish Breakfast, which was good but nothing to write home about, and a couple of Guinnesses, which were better. My mom got the mac and cheese which she said wasn't very good, but I don't know what she was expecting. Service was good and the place was nice inside as well. Overall a decent experience.

Yelp
I'll skip the potato skins next time. The Irish music Sunday night was the star of the evening.

Yelp
Tonight was the first time going back since before the pandemic and this is one of those places that shouldn't have suffered as much as it obviously has. What used to happen a decent Shepherds Pie has become little more than beef covered in cheese. Sure it's got a great location, but boy do they need to improve the menu.

Yelp
12-5-2023 We came with another couple before a show at the Ark. Found a cute alcove to share wish was very nice. My husband and I split a Fish& Chips, wish was fine, nothing special.

Yelp
Ate dinner here the evening of 7/13 on a nice evening listening to live music outdoors but was very disappointed. I ordered a spicy chicken wrap, and sweet potato fries "cooked crisp." The fries were overcooked and not very tasty, and the wrap was not in the least bit spicy -- and the chicken was sparse and overtaken by a ton of lettuce, so I asked the waitress for hot sauce to help flavor it up a bit. I ended up with a plate full of lettuce that I had pulled out (I should've taken an "after" photo!) but did eat the few little pieces of chicken that I found and doused with hot sauce. The waitress was pleasant but seemed to not care that the wrap was a huge disappointment -- she said she would "talk to the kitchen" but never reported back to me and yet brought out the credit card machine with tip options in the high range starting at 28% as I recall. I normally tip 20% (or higher for great service) but due to the lack of concern for the mound of uneaten LETTUCE sitting on my plate and remaining fries, I wrote in a 15% tip. I just wish she had shown concern that I was unhappy with my food.

Yelp
I have been here many, many times. Whether it is on St. Patricks, football game days, or just a stop down Main. It's always a good time. Great drinks.

Yelp
We loved this Irish Pub. Warning busy in game day weekend. Had the Irish poutine. Very good. Tried some of the beers recommended by the bartender. Loved the next day he remembered what I had from the day before. Great service. Love the atmosphere
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazing, they have the best food, pretzel bits are delicious. The service is amazing. The Ambiance and atmosphere is very friendly. Definitely a good down town restaurant Irish pub, the best one in Ann Arbor. Conor O'neill's is amazing!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great atmosphere and the fish pie was delicious. Lots of beer on tap to choose from. It's close to The Ark music venue.

Yelp
We revisited Conor's in Dec 2021, on a trip back to MI. I'm happy to report that it's still a great bar with plenty of beers on tap (huge variety) and all the other drinks that you could imagine. They have a full menu for lunch or dinner. We went in the middle of the afternoon while shopping, and there was plenty of room, good service and as much privacy or interaction as you might want. There's paid lot behind Conor's, and you can walk through the front or the back. It's so convenient!
google avatar

Yelp
Very warm feeling with the wood interior...the Guinness was fresh & delicious. Menu is limited but we all found good choices...there on a Saturday so had to be proactive getting our servers attention. Would go again!

Yelp
I came here with my brother and his family and my father. We met between Kalamazoo and RO. My dad got their fish and chips, we got my niece some chicken tenders (Mary's), my brother had their chicken pot pie and I ordered their turkey rueben. We sat outside in the patio, it was a beautiful summer day. What great weather for a family gathering in AA. The food came out relatively quick, we had them rush the chicken tender for my niece, she was starving and not quite hangry yet, but could turn quick. My dad, brother and niece all enjoyed their food. My turkey rueben was good.

K K.

Yelp
About as average as it could be. Had the Fish and Chips. The fish was okay, a bit greasy but fine for bar food. The "chips"(fries) were sub par. Slightly undercooked and not the best quality. The outside seating is good. Not the cleanest place. Service was fine. $5 for a Bells Oberon was fair. Won't be back.
google avatar

Sean B.

Yelp
The service and drink options were excellent. The food on the other hand was awful. The Brie we ordered came out the consistency of string cheese, and the bread was rock hard. The Irish Boxty was essentially a plate of mush. Everything had the exact same consistency: corned beef, cabbage, and the potato pancakes. This wouldn't have been bad, except it didn't taste good either. Everything tasted as though it had been made the day before. Salads are served on the same plate as the main dish, leaving the overall effect of getting a hot salad, that slowly makes it way into the pile of mush that is the Irish boxty. The raspberry vinaigrette was inedibly tart, and contained so many seeds it needed to be chewed.
google avatar

Yelp
Saw that one national reviewer said that this is the best Irish eatery in Michigan. It is not. Service was pleasant. everyone was being very responsible during the current pandemic and we at at tables in the middle of Main St. But the food was pretty average. I had a Reuben, which should be a staple for all Irish places. It was below average with little pieces of corned beef and rye bread that seemed more toasted than grilled.
google avatar

Josue J.

Yelp
Went hear the college football playoff game and the energy was great. As far as bar food goes, it really surpassed my expectations. The wings were average, bu there Shepard's pie and their desserts were top notch. The staff was also really hustling the whole game.
google avatar

Darrell K.

Yelp
I stopped off here to grab a cocktail and even some cold soup on a chilly day. We sat outside and were quickly served. A browse of a menu gave me a quick selection. The potato soup really warmed me up along with a nice cocktail. The waiter was friendly and had a few recommendations. I do plan to check out this spot again in the future.

Ánni E.

Yelp
this is a one star place because on the menu outside the restaurant for everyone is WRONG. they lured us in by advertising a "Fry Board" that has five types of fries. they sat us, got us water, and asked if we wanted starters. we said immediately the fry board and the waiter acted like we were from outer space and said "what are you talking about?" and then said that their menu is wrong. well I don't trust restaurants who lie to me so I hope this review finds everyone before you visit

Linda B.

Yelp
The boxie dinner with salmon is delicious! I also appreciate the hosting of Science Cafe once per month. Sitting near a fireplace is so cozy! Service was very good!

Yelp
We came here after a bad experience at another restaurant and we were very happy we did. Had some good shareable appetizers and great drinks. Conor was very accommodating to our requests and offered us samples of beer we had never had. We would highly recommend this establishment and will definitely be making this a stop on our next visit.

Yelp
There's no better place to gather and watch a game in Ann Arbor than Conor O'Neills. A large old wooden bar, numerous TV screens, hearty food, and attentive service make this a great spot for a game and a pint with friends. While I've passed through several times, my most memorable visit there was during the World Cup. The restaurant had their operation down to a science on that day -- several places where you could order, food that came out quickly, and plenty of seats and standing room around the screens. They had limited the number of people in the restaurant, and my friend and I were lucky enough to be the last two allowed in before they cut off for the afternoon! With a festive atmosphere, tasty fish and chips, and an array of drinks, this is one spot you'll want to visit to watch the next big game.
google avatar

Michael L.

Yelp
Such a fun place 100% recommend going and the boylesque show was so much fun to watch!
google avatar

Liz P.

Yelp
I've been to Conor's many times, mostly to drink. It's a fun venue, last night they had a Tom Petty tribute going on. Waitservice last night wasn't great, hence the 3 stars from me. We pretty much had to get our own silverware because our waiter disappeared for a while, too. Drinks are reasonably priced though (ie a vodka and Coke is $6) so it's not a bad choice for a Main St. venue.
google avatar

Danielle W.

Yelp
I love this place. Great location, fun inside, and delicious food and drink. I love how this place is decorated. Almost every time we go we get the Shepard's pie because it's so good. My favorite whiskey to order is the Glenmorangie Nectar D'or but they have a great selections of whiskeys and beers. We recently went and got the pretzel bites for an appetizer. They were good but I'm not going to go into detail as it pretty self explanatory... pretzel bites with cheese
google avatar

Nicholas H.

Yelp
Solid Irish Pub! Food was killer, service was on point. Music selection was a little weird and there was 30 min where there was no music but I would certainly come back to this place. Also a really good price point.
google avatar

Olivia G.

Yelp
The owners, managers and wait staff here are awesome. I held an event and they truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience, good food, and everything we needed. I recommend their food and drinks and look forward to going back again soon, and hosting events there in the future. The space is nicely decorated and the projectors are great.

Matt G.

Yelp
The fisherman's pie is crazy good. Top that off with an imperial pint of some good Irish beer, and you're in for a nice treat. Also the staff is the best, love the crew there they are just a great time.
google avatar

Ed W.

Yelp
Great Irish pub! We came here for dinner before the first game of the season. It was busy, but not crowded. The food is quite good. I got the fried chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the spicy Thai wrap. We both really enjoyed our meals. They also have a nice beer selection. There is a full bar, too; if that is your preference. Our server was Aoife. She was so friendly and took great care of us. Just keep in mind that it has a lot of TVs and people come to watch sports and cheer their favorite team. If a big game is on, you're not going to have a quiet dinner. If you're good with that, this is definitely a place to visit.
google avatar

Alex H.

Yelp
I'm a foodie. I eat a lot of places and the Poutine was the best thing I've had in a LONG time. The pulled pork was to die for and Shepherds pie is really, really good. Going back ASAP

Joshua C.

Yelp
The food was absolutely phenomenal. Service was amazing and highly attentive, never had to wait around to get refills or anything. I loved the atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant and area, amazing place to get a burger or sandwich while downtown in Ann Arbor. I highly recommend the big house burger, I loved everything about the food and the restaurant. Servers and employees were very kind and checked up on us constantly. Definitely swing by and try a burger or sandwich and pretzel bites. Last but not least. GO BLUE.

Yelp
Conor O'Neill's has been the neighborhood gem of downtown Ann Arbor, for as long as I have lived here. Hoppin night life, best bar downtown to watch a sports event, I have been most impressed with the lunch specials at Conor's lately. Best lunch special days (IMO) are Tuesday and Wednesday. I am not one for a roast beef sandwich, however, on advise from the bartender, I was pleasantly surprised. It was fantastic. Cheese, bacon, with a horseradish cream sauce on the side. Soup pairing is chicken tortilla. At $6, it's the best deal in downtown for a good hot lunch. Get a punch card for a slight discount and free lunch special when you fill the card. Amazing deal!

Yelp
I simply stumbled in here as every other place had a 30+ minute wait. Was actually on the way to another place and happened to see it in passing. And damn am I glad I did. The host was extremely prompt and gave me the options available before seating. Server was busy but had a great balance of checking in and leaving me be. The busing I noticed was quick and communicative. I ended up going with the simple American Burger and it was AMAZING. I would have scaled it down a bit so you could take proper bites, but otherwise it was absolutely phenomenal. The decor is unique and matches the theme. My only "complaint" is that it was quite loud. However, I'm aware I came in at dinner time on a Saturday night in a college town. So in reality I'm just getting old haha. Prices were a touch high for my liking, but for the area I think they're extremely fair for the portions. Would recommend and hope to visit again.
google avatar

Ingrid S.

Yelp
Solid Irish dive in Ann Arbor. Didn't partake in any food here but had a pint on our bar crawl of the evening. Not a huge selection of beers on tap and mostly just your standard run of the mill beers. I just ended up with a Newcastle. Everything is still fairly averagely priced. We didn't stay here too long as I think we both felt a bit claustrophobic inside without ever really needing to explain it. Although, it was completely empty inside which is great. No complaints but nothing really stood out to me either.
google avatar

Coleton D.

Yelp
Fun place to come with friends to grab a drink. Also have decently good food if you're looking for some bar food or sandwiches. Prices for drinks are a bit on the high side for well cocktails but on average normal prices for beer. There is a great selections of beers and you'll definitely be able to find one that you like. Happy hour is also available if you get there early enough you can score drinks and apps for $5 a piece. Bartenders are nice but the bar area is surprisingly small. Maybe 10 chairs or so in total which is low for an irish tavern. Cocktails came in a small glass but were good pours. Plenty of TVs throughout to watch any sporting events or even after a game would be a great spot as well. Decent amount of outdoor seating right on main street which is a nice bonus for people watching. Parking can be tricky and you'll definitely have to pay to park wherever you find a spot.
google avatar

Daniel H.

Yelp
10/17/20 --- Same great waitress as last time (Riley(sp?)). This time we split the Chicken Tenders appetizer (very good) and then split a burger. The burger was quite tasty, but the onion rings that came with the burger were crispy on the outside, but limp and moist inside (just like the fish in the Fish-n-Chips from our last visit). I think it's time to change the oil in the deep-fat fryer and even perhaps check the temperature on that unit.
google avatar

Anum A.

Yelp
I wish I could review this small restaurant, but I didn't get the opportunity to even order. We sat ourselves, as requested by the host, waited for 20 minutes to have someone check on us, let them know we were ready when the server walked by, and proceeded to leave after another 25 minutes passed without service. Don't recommend. Won't return.
google avatar

Alex V.

Yelp
Man, this place gets crowded super quickly when there's a sports event going on! Bartenders are on point and they have plenty of beers on tap. Didn't have any of the food but from what I saw, it looks well worth the wait! Check it out if you're in town!
google avatar

Ariane T.

Yelp
Conor's had basically kept us fed midst pandemic. Once a week, our food would be from them. Always consistent and quality. We always get the Shepherd's Pie and the Guinness& jameson pulled pork. Both yummy in their equal ways. Picking up food was always a breeze. They have also thrown in couple of gift cards from time to time. Can't wait for all of this to be over and be able to experience this place with the full menu. Keep up the good work guys! We can get through this!
google avatar

Kimberly U.

Yelp
Great Irish pub. The food was good. A lot of beer on tap. I had the fish and chips. It was really tasty. Husband had the corn beef he said it was perfect. The car tenders are really personable and knowledgeable. Only downside not a lot of traditional Irish food and not sweet on the menu.

Yelp
The Pioneer Class of 1982 had a wonderful kickoff to our 40th Reunion weekend on Friday night. What a great place to celebrate friends! The staff was exceptional, especially Ashley! She is truly a trained professional :-). I would highly recommend Conor O'Neills for any group functions and/or just a night out on the town! Thanks Tom and crew!
