24 Best Hotels in Dublin

"Located across from the National Concert Hall and just a few minutes from two of Dublin’s most beautiful parks, the Conrad benefits from its dreamy location. Although its setting hasn’t changed, its 2017 renovation cemented its reputation as one of the most impressive hotels in town. The bright lobby, which draws influences from the nearby Iveagh Gardens, is filled with branch-like light fixtures and neutral greens—a color scheme that continues in the rooms. Another impressive thing to come from the refurb is The Coburg, a sexy brasserie with impeccable food. Rooms are muted and calming, with woven blankets, Irish art, Nespresso machines, and international charging stations. Some have private balconies—a rarity in Dublin." - Nicola Brady

Conrad Dublin

"How did it strike you on arrival?Located across from the National Concert Hall and just a few minutes from two of Dublin’s most beautiful parks, the Conrad benefits from its dreamy location. Although its setting hasn’t changed, its recent €14 million ($16 million) renovation has cemented its reputation as one of the most impressive hotels in town. The bright lobby, which draws influences from the nearby Iveagh Gardens, is filled with branch-like light fixtures and neutral greens—a color scheme that continues in the rooms. Another impressive thing to come from the refurb is The Coburg, a sexy brasserie with impeccable food. Nice. What’s the crowd like?On concert nights, it's music-lovers out on the town. Otherwise, you'll see business travelers and Dubliners popping in for a cocktail. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Rooms are muted and calming, with woven blankets, Irish art, Nespresso machines, and international charging stations. Some have private balconies—a rarity in Dublin. How about the little things—any other bright spots to note?Turndown means dimmed lights, slippers on a bedside mat and, perhaps most importantly, Butlers chocolates on the pillow. Old-school service at its most hospitable. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whatever stuck with you.The snazzy gym is open 24 hours a day. Dinner in The Coburg is a must; though craft beer fans should hit up Alfie Byrne's, which has 33 drafts. Bottom line: worth it, and why?Although it's not all that impressive from the outside, the Conrad, one of the unsung heroes of the Dublin hotel scene, has managed to nail luxury without sacrificing style." - Nicola Brady

*Fantastic Restaurant and Bar, Amazing and Friendly Staff* Conrad Dublin exceeded my expectations in every way. The highlight of my stay was definitely the restaurant and bar. The breakfast buffet was exceptional — fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. Dinner was equally impressive, with creative dishes that blended local flavors and international influences. The bar had a warm, inviting atmosphere and an excellent selection of wines, cocktails, and local beers. I especially enjoyed chatting with the bartender, who was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely friendly. Speaking of friendliness, the entire staff was outstanding. From housekeeping to the concierge, everyone seemed genuinely happy to help, always greeting guests with a smile and going the extra mile. It felt like they truly cared about making each guest’s experience special. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The hotel’s central location also made it easy to explore Dublin’s attractions without hassle. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service, Conrad Dublin is a top choice.

My husband and I went to Ireland to celebrate a milestone anniversary. We stayed at the Conrad Dublin for two days. When we arrived at the Conrad, we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff that made us feel very welcome! We were very happy to hear that our room had been upgraded as my husband is a Hilton Honors Gold member. The room was very comfortable and had a nice city view. We had complimentary chocolates as a gift for our anniversary which was a very thoughtful gesture. ||As the heat wasn’t turned on in the hotel yet (apparently it was the tail end of summer and only air conditioning was working), a very helpful maintenance worker found us a small room heater as it had become chilly. Foodwise, we were so amazed to see such an extensive breakfast buffet with a fresh, delicious selection! We could also order from the a la carte breakfast menu. We ended up having a huge breakfast every day and then dinner in the evening. We also enjoyed talking to the restaurant staff as they were very personable. The knowledgeable concierge helped us with booking the hop-on hop-off bus tour. We explored St. Stephen’s Green and went to the mall nearby. For dinner, I ordered room service while my husband ordered from the Indian restaurant nearby. It was a wonderful stay! I highly recommend the Conrad if you are in Dublin and looking for a very comfortable stay in a luxury hotel with exceptional service! Thank you.

We stayed here for 2 nights 15-17 August as the main reason for our visit to Dublin was to see Oasis. Our room was upgraded which was very nice. When we walked into our room we were treated to a lovely note and a box of chocolates. The hotel was spotless and all the staff we engaged with were lovely. Our room was lovely and cozy. Breakfast was great too. If I was to stay in Dublin again then I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

We stayed at Conrad Dublin for a few nights as a couple and really enjoyed it. The check-in was quick and easy, and the staff at the front desk were very friendly. They gave us a few tips about things to do nearby, which was nice. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. We also loved the big windows that let in a lot of daylight. The bathroom was modern, with good water pressure in the shower and nice toiletries.||The location couldn’t have been better for us. It’s just a short walk to St. Stephen’s Green, Grafton Street, and lots of cafes and restaurants. We could explore most places on foot, which made the trip even more relaxing. At night, the area felt safe and quiet, so we slept really well.||Overall, we had a great experience here. It’s a beautiful hotel with great service, a comfy room, and a location that makes exploring Dublin so easy. We would happily stay here again on our next visit.|Thanks so much to all staff!)

A superb hotel near St. Stephen’s Green. The staff are very professional. James, one of the concierge, was particularly helpful. The rooms are well appointed and large. Bed is firm but very comfortable. Excellent A/C. The restaurant is excellent. A great stay.

Long standing Diamond member who thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. It is walking distance to good food, drink, and parks. We were very impressed by the hotel staff - very accommodating and welcoming. Any requests we made were completed in a timely manner. Would stay here again.

We had such a fantastic experience at Conrad Dublin from the moment we booked the stay to the time we left. Marco at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and informative about the area. This was the first stop on our honeymoon and Marco helped ensure a special surprise for my wife was taken care of. Rafael behind the bar was super friendly and didnt make me feel bad that I came in just a few minutes before closing. Franco, another bartender made me a fantastic Irish coffee, was very hospitable and demonstrated an incredible work ethic. 5 stars!

I stayed at Conrad Dublin for a work trip and couldn’t have been happier. The staff were professional yet warm, making check-in smooth and stress-free. My room was quiet, comfortable, and perfect for getting work done in the evenings. The location was ideal — close to meetings in the city center but peaceful enough to truly relax after a busy day. Excellent service and attention to detail made my stay both productive and enjoyable.

Yelp
Pros. Great Location. Fantastic Service. Very Clean. Great Breakfast Buffet Cons. Bathroom is Dated. Breakfast a Bit Chaotic.

Yelp
Lovely staff from the front desk, to the concierge, and in the restaurant. The team behind the scenes (offering turn down service and chocolates) were just as welcoming. You cannot help but feel good by the cheeriest of dispositions. Outstanding, 10/10 would absolutely stay here again (and we are in our way home)!

Yelp
Everything way amazing, the housekeeping is amazing and they're so thoughtful. Best hotel ever!!!

Yelp
The front desk staff leaves a sour taste in our mouth. They weren't helpful. Tony the concierge was very helpful and always welcomed us. In the breakfast room, the food was fresh and very enjoyable. If possible have Rosemary, as your server I am Diamond status and received no recognition as such. The hotel is on the low end of the Conrad Hotels.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my stay at the Conrad Dublin. Although it was brief, I really made the most of my time there. View from the hotel is pretty sweet, and the area itself is not super busy with tourists so you're definitely avoiding a lot of the noise. If you're curious, it's also about a 15-20 min walk from Dublin Castle and St. Patrick's Cathedral. If you're looking to stay local for meals, the restaurant within the hotel is a great option. Check-in begins in the late afternoon, but you can pay $40 to check-in a bit earlier. Wish I had known that, since my flight to Dublin Airport landed at 8am. I ended up waiting in the lobby area for a while until I realized I could pay the fee to get to my room sooner. Definitely appreciated this option, but wish it was extended to me earlier via Expedia messages or in-person at initial check-in. Room was lovely and very spacious with tons of natural light. The products were INCREDIBLE. Love that they include premium lotion, shampoo, and conditioner by Byredo. I can credit the Conrad with getting me hooked on the Mojave Ghost perfume. The doormen were incredibly helpful and really alleviated the stress of carrying my heavy luggage with 10 days worth of stuff. This was much appreciated. Happy I chose to stay at the Conrad for part of my trip. Well worth the $$$.

Yelp
The staff was very kind and the rooms were nicely updated. The breakfast setup was elegant and well attended. Overall, it was a great time and location for a few days of Dublin.

Yelp
Great service in the Hilton tradition! The breakfast at the restaurant was always a welcome treat! Close to lots of attractions! We will definitely return!

Yelp
Amazing staff! Very kind! Went way above and beyond. Just mentioned that it was our anniversary and they had a special hand written note and dessert sent up to our room! Love it!!! 10/10 highly recommend! Will be back!

Yelp
Recently enjoyed an excellent stay in Dublin at the Conrad! They acknowledged my Hilton status with an upgrade and breakfast. The breakfast was so so good! Wide variety of offerings on the Buffett plus you could also order off the menu! The service was very good and we always got a table with no problem. All of the restaurant's on site were great. We ate at the terrace three times, that is how good it is. Dinner at the Coburg was delicious. The barman from France in Lemule really knew his stuff! Great recommendations for different styles of Irish whiskies, a nice way to unwind from a day of sight seeing! If you are planing on staying in Dublin to visit the many museums and historic sites, I highly recommend, the Conrad. Close enough to St Stephen's green, but in a quiet, clean, safe block. I'm from NYC, and found Dublin's city center gritty and had to navigate around some obvious druggies... the Conrad was an oasis.

Yelp
A very comfortable stay, as one would expect of the brand. The breakfast is truly a nice thing, with many things to appeal to everyone. Great service, at every corner. Definitely a place worthy of another stay.

Yelp
I booked this through AMEX travel as the 3rd night was free but we still paid over 650e per night for the room. The hotel is super clean no question. However we found the service lackluster. No one to assist with bags, no welcome to the hotel or an intro to the amenities. The waiters in the breakfast room spoke so softly it was if they were working against their will. The buffet breakfast is excellent. Highly recommend the porridge. We tried to eat in the restaurant Sunday evening and were turned away due to a private party. It the wasn't until we left on Monday that we we're able to determine that the weekday staff is much more experienced that the weekend staff. Too bad as we were only there for the weekend. I wouldn't book again as the service wasn't commensurate with the prices.

Yelp
Very nice hotel. The service was top rate. From the concierge, to the front desk staff, to the room attendants and on and on... every staff member was supportive and did their best to make my stay pleasant. The rooms were well appointed and beautifully maintained. I loved the nightly turn down service accompanied with a candy treat. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. Too many items to mention, but I have to call out the coffee and scones. Everything was just perfect!

Yelp
We stayed four nights at this location which I believe in the area called Dublin 2 Near the national concert hall as well as Merriman Park and several foreign embassies. Our experience from the neighborhood was that there wasn't too much around as far as shops or cafés although there are some. It is a quiet area. We were able to check in early which we greatly appreciate it after a long overnight flight. Although I am diamond elite, I was not afforded the opportunity of an upgrade. I had chosen my room through the electronic online check in process. I normally don't like to ask and see if there was be any mention of any type of upgrade upon check-in, and there was not. So I'm not sure if all of the available rooms in the category higher than mine were taken or what. The superior king room was larger compared to other European rooms in my opinion. I would equate it to a standard size room in the United States for reference. It was well appointed and very clean. We had slippers, robe, coffee maker and a mini fridge. There was also a small couch and table present. The showerhead good water pressure although we did hear some music streaming in the bathroom on a very low volume and we could not figure out where it was coming from. He had a large flatscreen TV that had the usual BBC/CNN/sky channels. Hey in room dining menu was also present. We appreciate the abundance of outlets for charging. And even better we appreciated the USB charging port switch we did not have to use an adapter for. We dined in Coburg Bistro three times for the breakfast and had drinks one evening in the other bar area. Currently because of Covid, the breakfast buffet is served by the employees which is great. There's also an option to order breakfast items off the menu. The tables did not seem that far spaced out in the main dining room but they do encourage reservations ahead of time to make sure that you are accommodated which we did make ahead before we arrived. The bar area was a little bit more spread out as far as tables were concerned. There we enjoyed a Middleton whiskey and Bailey's on the rocks for a nightcap. The front desk staff was very helpful in arranging taxis for some of our transportation throughout the city and airports. We were disappointed to learn that the complementary car service was not in use due to Covid even though it was still presented on the websites. I'm very careful to check what services are or are not offered during Covid. Our only disappointed was on our last night we ordered in room dining. It took over an hour to be delivered. We ordered a Caesar salad, margarita pizza, and an ice cream sundae. The Caesar salad was fine but I don't recall mention of either chicken or egg on the menu. I could be wrong. It was served with both. The margarita pizza was quite possibly the worst entrée we had during our entire visit in all of the city. It was overcooked and almost an edible. I probably would've mentioned something to the hotel but I did not want to be a burden especially during Covid but I just thought you should know. We would probably stay at this location again if we return to Dublin. I do recommend this property. It is beautiful, well-maintained and elegant.

Yelp
We came here for a day trip to Dublin from Frankfurt. Hotel staff immediately greeted us upon our arrival. They took our luggage and directed us to the checkin counter. The first gentleman to check us in was wonderful. He explained our stay and our options, and provided us with a letter outlining everything. They then directed us to breakfast, which the buffet was somewhat lacking for someone who has an egg allergy. However, I'm not deducting stars for this, because they did address my other severe allergy-milk! They had soy milk and cereal as an option, which I haven't even seen that in Texas. They had other options for purchase that we tried, but likely my favorite, was the fact that the buffet included limitless prosecco! The room was wonderful! We actually had a really hard time leaving Dublin, because the king sized bed and pillows were so much more comfortable than in our room in Frankfurt. They have other dining options, and even a quaint bar you can escape to for a night cap. If we ever go back to Dublin to stay the night, we are going back to the Conrad.

Yelp
In Dublin for business and this was the hotel the company put me up at. The location is across from the National Concert Hall and not a bad walk to/from the office. It's not far from Shelbourne and Stephen's Green. I was able to wander around in the evening after work and get a decent amount of steps in. I'll probably continue to stay at the Conrad every time I come into town for business as I now know the shortcuts to get to/from the office.

Kenneth J.

Yelp
Rooms were spectacular, very comfortable, lotta of room and great breakfast. The service was awesome and very helpful. Would stay here again on then drop of a hat .

Yelp
The Conrad is a beautiful hotel centrally located and walking distance to sights and shops. Rooms are clean, spacious, and modern. The breakfast was a decent spread for the buffet with the usual variety of sausage, bacon, eggs, fruit, and pastries. At breakfast they had a large honeycomb slice which went great with the granola. The gym is small but has a few cardio machines and weights to get your gym time in.

Yelp
Fantastic service. From the moment I checked in the staff have treated me like I am their main priority. From assisting me and booking me restaurant reservations, to the bartenders knowing my favorite drink and preferred bourbon, to even the friendly "Good Evening Mr. Pierce" when I walk in the doors after a day at the office, this place blows away all expectations! The other day, for my birthday, I came back to my room with a nice little surprise! How great it feels to feel cared for so far away from home. They staff here are caring, thoughtful, and accommodating. Would 100% recommend this spot due to its proximity to the LUAS and it's central location in Dublin.

Yelp
Great property, I found it a good value. The location was a short walk tons of dining and shopping but far enough away that it was very peaceful around the hotel. Front desk staff was great, very proactive. The property overall was well kept up, everything felt new. I found breakfast a little underwhelming but overall a great hotel.

Yelp
4 stars for this 5 star rated hotel Most of the nicer hotels in Dublin like the Shelbourne and Merrion were already booked solid by the time my husband booked our Dublin accommodations. He booked the Conrad as a safe bet, near St. Stephens Green, a beautiful park in Dublin, and not far from Grafton street, the location is fairly ideal. Upon arrival we checked in, the girl at check in did not see our reservation included parking and tried to double charge us, thankfully we had a copy of our reservation and she adjusted. We arrived late, checked into our room which was rather small but I understand they underwent recent renovations and did notice it looked modern/contemporary. We dealt with a few issues like broken toilet seat and non working refrigerator during our stay. There was also a horrible smelling orange scented bathroom oil which we had to ask them to remove because the smell was so strong. The bathroom space was tight had a very tall tub/shower, no walk in shower, so it was a considerable climb up the high sides of the tub to get into the bathtub to take a shower, somewhat awkward. We also did not receive any type of turn down service during our two night stay which was disappointing, even though I believe we requested one. The breakfast here was very nice, in fact one of the nicer more upscale spreads we encountered during our travels, with a hot and cold buffet and menu as well, we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast spread every morning, but no great window views. There are no garden green spaces of the hotel that I saw, but being just down the street from St. Stephens Green more than made up for it. We did also visit the Shelbourne and Merrion while in Dublin and the Merrion, which was in a completely different part of town, had a very tranquil outdoor garden space which was very alluring. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and those are two musts, but due to our other issues it just was not completely the 5 star experience we paid for.

Yelp
We stayed a night at the end of our Ireland trip and everything was as outstanding as we expected from this Hilton brand. Our room had a lovely view of the city, the bed was comfortable and the shower and amenities were superb. We ate dinner and breakfast at The Coburg and lunch was at the Alfie Byrne's on the lower floor. Service was always quietly professional. We were a little worried in the morning about getting a taxi to the airport but the front desk and concierge took care of everything. We plan to return to Dublin in the near future and this is where we will stay.

Alejandra M.

Yelp
We just arrived to the hotel. The lobby is very nice and updated. We were happy because we thought the room was going to be nice too. But when we got to the room it had a very bad smell. I mentioned it to the person that helped us with our bags and he told us he'll try to get us another room but he never got back. After going to the bar and started to unpack a guy came with a spray and told us he wanted to spray the room and open the windows so we should leave at this moment was 10 pm and after traveling 12 hours we were very tired. After all the stress we just wanted to sleep when we went to brush our teeth we found that bathroom sink was clogged but we'll call tomorrow. We are too tired to start dealing with this new issue . After being three night at The Londoner in London and 3 nights at The Balmoral in Edinburgh it is very clear for us that this is not a 5 stars . We regret that we booked and already paid 3 nights. I will not come back. For this price I am sure we can find a better hotel . Ps: if you are coming before mid October you should know that there is only one elevator working. Expect delays.

Yelp
My husband had to go to Ireland for a week on business, and because I've wanted to go there forever, I tagged along. His company booked a room here at the Conrad and it was soon obvious why. This hotel is so fancy and high class. In all honesty, it's not something we could have afforded on our own. As soon as we walked in the lobby, we knew we were in for an awesome experience. Everyone we interacted with - from the front desk to the housekeepers - were professional, friendly and kind. Our flight got into Dublin at 5:30 in the morning and we weren't sure if we were going to be able to check into our room that early but we did! They already had our room ready because they knew we were an early arrival. The bellhop took our suitcases to our room for us because we were exhausted after walking 30 minutes through the snow at 6 AM (yes, it was freezing and we got off on the wrong stop) and it was much appreciated. The breakfast was incredible. Just so insanely yummy! One morning we had a tour scheduled that left early and we were so hungry but the dining room wasn't open. One of the bellhops (is that the right term?) went and got us two plates full of food to take with us so we weren't left high and dry. Just a wonderful experience from top to bottom.

Yelp
We had an absolutely amazing time staying here at the Conrad. The staff here are extremely kind and helpful. The location is great and the room was very comfortable. We definitely would stay here again when we are back in Dublin next. We didn't have time to try out the restaurant here but that is definitely going to be on our to do when we return.

Yelp
With a very late check-in until the time we left, the experience at this hotel was magnificent! The staff members provided superb service and were very attentive to our needs. This was a work trip and they made our stay worthwhile; always ready to assist, making sure we had a cab each day. Food at the Coburg was also good each day. Everything was beautiful at this hotel but what stands out the most has to be the employees and their service!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a hotel that is worthy of the 5 stars that it has. We stayed here for a night after a disastrous experience with an AirBnB. Check in was smooth, checkout was smoother and the location was perfect. We had a large suite, a luxurious bathroom (with a tub), and an excellent experience with the staff and restaurants onsite. We ate at the main restaurant late the first night of our arrival and the service and food was fabulous. While in Ireland the bed was the softest we slept in and the room service the best we encountered. There is a car rental place on site that helped us get situated for the rest of our trip across Ireland. The layout is clean, the location easy to navigate and it near plenty of places, so you can walk to most sites.

Yelp
By far, this was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had-- and I've stayed at a lot of hotels! From the moment I arrived, I felt very appreciated and welcomed by the front desk staff. After telling Ciara this was my first time in Dublin, she got a map and spent close to fifteen minutes showing me where all of the good restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing spots were near the hotel. I was so impressed by her friendliness and how helpful she was! When I mentioned to her that my luggage didn't make my connection, she informed how the system generally works and that she would be glad to assist me if possible. Btw, when my luggage finally did show up two days later, Ciara had them bring it to my room and she left a sweet note under my door since she was going on holiday and wouldn't see me again before I left. That was so thoughtful! I spent six nights here, and it was a perfect choice for my trip. My room was clean, attractive, and I loved the little touches like the chocolates at turndown. My room was also very quiet and I slept quite well, which says a lot since I generally have trouble sleeping in hotels. The hotel is a perfect location for sightseeing in Dublin. You're within walking distance to just about everything, and there is transit nearby for those places that require a vehicle. When returning to Dublin next year, I will definitely stay at the Conrad again! This is a beautiful property and the staff are wonderful. Thanks again to Ciara for being so kind, but I also want to give a shout-out to the other front desk staff-- you were all very welcoming and lovely. This was an amazing trip for me, and you helped make it even better!

Yelp
This review is about the afternoon tea at the Conrad Hilton. It was highly touted so I was very much looking forward to it. I arrived at the Conrad Hilton and found that the tea would be served in the bar - odd. Whatever, I went in and was soundly ignored by the wait staff. Finally I was seated. Ten minutes went by and a server deigned to wait on me. I was brought tea and told that the sandwiches and the sundries that went with afternoon tea would be out soon. Thirty minutes later, my server told me that the kitchen was making the sandwiches fresh instead of using already prepared sandwiches. Nice I thought. Forty five minutes later, I left. If I could give this establishment a minus several star rating I would. NO TEA AT ALL! The taxi that took me back to my own hotel asked how it went. When I told him about the non-existing tea, he told me other horror stories about this hotel, he'd heard from other patrons using his taxi service. I must say, thus far, Ireland has been a great disappointment to me.

Bruce K.

Yelp
I can't review the service in the rooms, as I was only in the lounge areas a couple of times to meet colleagues and have a drink or two. Comfortable seating in a very open area, the bartender came to the tables to take drink orders. One Guinness, four half-and-half Guinness/Smithwicks and a Heineken. Not terribly expensive. The hotel room I did see briefly (to store my suitcase with a colleague) looked decently comfortable enough with plenty of light and space with a good work desk area. Note that the Conrad is a five-star member of the Hilton chain.

Raoul B.

Yelp
I want to give a shout out to Shane. I never write hotel reviews, but Shane and his team literally turned a nightmare trip into a delightful one. If everyone was like Shane at Hyatt a traveler would need to look no further. Shane I owe a deep debt of gratitude. Thank you for taking care of absolutely everything when my mind from coming across the Atlantic was scattered. He literally arrange to pay my taxi because I forgot my currency.

Yelp
This is a fantastic hotel! The rooms are spacious, clean and very nice. The room service is FAST and delicious! It's a great location too, lots of pubs and places to eat in walking distance. Def a good spot to stay. I'm not giving it five stars because we had an issue with our door not opening, at 2 am when we were stumbling in from a pub, and had to make three trips up and down the elevator until someone finally came and opened it for us.

Yelp
Good hotel. Modern and clean with comfortable beds. Centrally located, although still a bit of a hike from the Liffey and Temple Bar area. St. Stephens Green is a lovely part of Dublin, however, and this hotel is straight across from the National Theatre, so it's convenient if you're in town to see a show. The bar in the hotel lobby caters to the theatre/symphony crowd -- tasteful offerings and wonderful dessert choices. I was surprised by how crowded the place was at 11pm on a Friday night. I would highly recommend checking out the bar, however. The food was much better than I'd expected. Service at this Conrad was outstanding, with every staff member going to great lengths to be helpful and accommodating with doors, luggage, umbrellas and all the hassles of traveling in a big city with frequent rain. The rooms are average-sized, although the washrooms are very large by European standards. Really enjoyed not falling directly into the toilet when climbing out of the shower, like in most other places. Overall, I'd stay in this Conrad again. Knowing that there will be a certain standard is nice. It also won't break the bank. Not cheap, but pretty good value for money.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for 9 days on our honeymoon and we had the most wonderful time. It wasn't a perfect stay since you start to notice issues with loose tiles in the bathrooms and things like that after a long stay, but the staff at the Conrad really made the stay special for us. The hotel is right next to Saint Stephen's Green so everything is only a 10 minute walk away and it is a lovely walk through the Green at that. If you want to take a taxi somewhere, there is a line of them out front so you don't have to worry about hailing down a cab. The breakfast spread was absolutely wonderful and varied. Everything was made in Ireland and they even gave you a breakdown where the milk, eggs, meat, etc. came from within Ireland. Our favorite part was the pub down in the basement called Alfie Byrnes- the bartenders were so amazing. Thanks to David and Tom we got to experience some new drinks and more importantly we got to make new friends. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The taxi that took me back to my own hotel asked how it went. When I told him about the non-existing tea, he told me other horror stories about this hotel, he'd heard from other patrons using his taxi service. I must say, thus far, Ireland has been a great disappointment to me.

Yelp
I had their fish and chips dinner. The food was delicious and the service was good. I would recommend reservations. The ambience is very sedate and chill and the offer multiple searing areas.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights while we were in Dublin earlier this year and it is totally worth it!! This hotel is considered a five star hotel in Dublin -- for how cheap it is per night it's ridiculous!! Rooms are big, staff is friendly, and breakfast is great!! Also located right across the street from a nice park -- great place to go for a quick morning run or stroll through the park while drinking a coffee. Staff can also book tours for you at the front desk -- they have good deals and can usually book you for a tour as soon as the next day. Recommended!!

Yelp
Fully remodeled and better than ever, the Conrad in Dublin is an amazing hotel within short walking distance of all the city center has to offer. The restaurant and cocktail bar are so beautifully designed and appointed that I could have stayed in each all day. The rooms, exceptionally comfortable even before the head-to-toe remodel, are even more so now. All the high points of my previous review are still accurate now. This is my preferred place to stay when in Dublin.

Yelp
As a Hilton diamond member,I was treated exceptionally well. I second all of the review from Chelsea. She did a wonderful job with the pictures. Our room was part of the remodel and was handsomely appointed. Fresh paint, paper, carpet and tile. Service from the front desk, restaurant, bellman to the turn down service was top of the line Hilton quality. We did not try the basement pub and are sorry we missed it. This hotel is convenient for walking and on the bus line from the airport. We would certainly stay here again.

Yelp
The hotel is a gem in the crown of Paris Hilton, the one that usually stays fixed when she falls down drunk. It's very clean, the room is spacious, has a desk with all the world's current plugs, and the bed is comfortable. Five stars to the breakfast they serve, as it is varied, fresh and plentiful; not sure why they offer items to order, as I cannot think of why anyone wouldn't want the buffet. Lastly, the location is fantastic. Located at Patrick's Green, you have access to the historical sites such as Trinity College, interesting places like the National Gallery & Irish National Library, and the main shopping & restaurant roads. I cannot comment on price as it was packaged in with my flight & other accommodations, but well worth typical four to five star prices.

Yelp
Outstanding! Excellent service. Staff goes above and beyond to help. Great location. Rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. Restaurants are service oriented and food selection is great. Enjoyable dinning experience. I would stay here again and highly recommend it for families, couples and large groups. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Yelp
Back in the days of yore when I was a wee nipper, my parents took me to the Concert Hall for a massively long work that needed an hour long interval to allow the performers to recover. During this interval we trooped over to the Conrad bar to get food and general nourishment. From what I remember we ordered quick and easy food on the basis that we wanted to get back to the music on time. It was the kind of food that requires a deep fat fryer and a person to make sure nothing goes on fire. to make a long story short we never saw that food. The service was oh so bad that we left never to return again.....until, many moons later, I got a job nearby. I am pleased and relieved to say that the Conrad has upped its game considerably. Should you want lunch food for example, might I recommend heading to the bar where they have a rather excellent menu and are perfectly happy to serve gluten free bread if required although it does have to be said that they do occasionally run out of the stuff. The staff are excellent as they are friendly, efficient and do go out of their way to help. Also there is never a rush to finish which can be a shame when you forget what time is it. Upstairs in the lobby is probably my favourite bit though. The seats are comfy, the staff are once again excellent and the hot chocolate is amazing! They even put it in a pot if you want but that could just be me. Anywho! There's free wifi so if you have your laptop or fancy phone then you can sit and relax but be warned the place is ROASTING in summer with the sun shining through the glass roof area. How staff aren't keeling over I will never know. They recently also brought in a pianist to play mood music. This is both good and bad. Good in that she is very good and pleasant to listen to. Bad in that it encourages the local drunk to have a tinkle himself. In fairness he plays the Eastenders theme moderately ok but after four times of hearing the one song it gets kinda old. Seriously! The one thing I will say about the Conrad, and it is the reason it only gets 4 stars, is that at a christmas party one year the food served was not exactly roasting and the potatoes were similar in texture to hard play dough. The standards may have risen for large groups but I wouldn't be rushing back to make sure. On a final note, Pavarotti once stayed there so I'm guessing the rooms ain't too shabby either :)

Yelp
Just been to the Conrad Hotel in Dublin City Centre. Upon entering this hotel you expect 'Hilton' ambiance and service. I experienced neither this afternoon. Granted I was only after a coffee in the lounge area but I will not be rushing back to spend anymore money in the hotel. The reception and lounge area need to be refurbished. There are more than enough luxury hotels in Dublin City Centre that are more tastefully decorated. The bathrooms in the reception area have no hot water - but they were clean. The furniture is shabby in the lounge area. There was one staff member serving in this area. It was not busy but the service was not to the usual 'Hilton' standards. I was waiting a while to be served. Eventually I had to call the staff member over. I witnessed another table also having to do the same. The staff member was not friendly, nor was there any apology for the delay in serving us. As I said given the choice in Dublin City, I would give this place a miss.

Yelp
Business hotel, good location, very good and attentive service. Excellent breakfast that is free if you are on of the lucky ones who stay at too many Hilton properties. We were able to walk all over Dublin with this as our home base.

Yelp
What great customer service!!! My mom and I stayed here last year on our visit to Dublin. We stayed for 5 days and felt completely spoiled! The rooms were very spacious with everything you needed including robes and slippers. The beds were so comfortable! At night they would come in and get our rooms ready for bed - turn the radio on to soft jazz, slippers next to the bed, and those little details that felt great after coming back from a long day of touring. The breakfast buffet was good. I now crave scrambled eggs, sauteed mushrooms, and pork beans every so often at home. I had a drink at the bar one night. Very friendly atmosphere. The bartender was very attentive. If you want to get spoiled, I would recommend staying here!

Yelp
My wife & I stayed at two properties while in Dublin. It was a Marriott vs Hilton showdown....Shelbourne vs Conrad. Really close battle, but Shelbourne takes the win. Here's are my quick thoughts on the Conrad: - Great location 1/2 block from Stephen's Green - Basic room provides great night's sleep and the bathroom is a cut above even in the standard room - Breakfast buffet was a good spread - Possibly one of the best Diamond benefits I've ever heard of is free Valet (unheard of) - If you're used the newer Conrad's in the US, it's worth noting this is an older property. However, it exceptionally maintained - Internet has to be one of the most annoying internet setups I've run into - what happened to room number and last name? - Gym is 1989 - terrible - Wife thought the hotel lobby smelled like the W Vieques which is always a plus

Yelp
I travel for a living. This hotel is top-notch. We checked in at 11:30 pm on late arrival. We booked through lastminute.com and our reservation had not made it to the hotel. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind, and even gave us an upgrade to the deluxe room because of the error on the website's behalf. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff was still polishing tables and working, despite the late hour. One employee in particular, Francisco, was amazing. He brought room service late one night on my stay. He also noticed I had the sniffles from a cold and brought me a box of tissues in a small bag while I was in the Lobby Lounge. Another time, my fiance asked for toothpaste at the front desk and it made it back to the room before he did!! THE BED is the most comfortable bed I have had the pleasure of sleeping on. I'm still dreaming about the silky soft cotton sheets and beautiful fluffy king sized pillows. Seriously some of the best sleep I have had in Ireland. The location is good enough. A 6 euro cab ride (from one of the many waiting cabs in queue outside) will get you around most places if you don't want to walk. St. Stephen's Green is literally on the corner. I can't speak to all of the hotel food, but the chicken club at the Lounge was tasty. I tend not to eat where I sleep. Check out Green 19 for lunch or Dunne & Crescenza for dinner. I have no negative comments about any part of this hotel. It is perfection, even down to the thick, quilted toilet paper.

Yelp
It's been an excellent stay so far with superior service and great restaurant and lobby bar. They have been attentive to all needs and even to extent of finding a masseuse to provide massage.

Yelp
A well maintained property in the Victorian section of Dublin, within walking distance of many things of interest. The service here is top-notch for Ireland. The staff is friendly, polite, happy to be of service to you. I have stayed at Conrad's in Asia, North America, and now Dublin. This property doesn't hold a candle to the ones in Asia in terms of architecture, size, or staff to guest ratios but neither does the one in Chicago. This property does, however, deliver a very solid top end stay within Dublin and I was happy with everything including the room size (large for Europe), a North American style tub/shower (no ridiculous half glass partition for a shower curtain that allows water to go everywhere in the bathroom except the bathtub drain), a nice location and some really good pub food although it is pricey. I did have the best fish and chips of the trip here but it also cost 17 euros. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Really clean and nice property, easy check in and perfect location. Good bar and restaurant helpful friendly staff.
