Conrad Guangzhou

Absolutely loved our stay at Conrad Guangzhou. The room was modern, spacious, and impeccably clean. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day—everything was always spotless. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Check-in was smooth and efficient, with no hassle at all. The location is excellent—there’s a mall right next door and plenty of restaurants within walking distance, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. A truly comfortable and luxurious experience—highly recommended!

This is a wonderful place—comfortable, convenient, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We were given a room by the riverside, and the staff made a real effort to ensure we received the best possible benefit—not just the best room, but what would truly suit us, as much as they were able to provide. They seemed tireless in their dedication to service, always checking in to see if we needed anything. What impressed us the most was their attention to detail and genuine care—we felt that they truly looked after us in every possible way. The breakfast was also impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located next to a large shopping mall with plenty of excellent restaurants nearby.

Everything was good. Services was good. Breakfast was good!!! I like how the concierge team is attentive to guest concerns. I will defin9 come back to stay at conrad guangzhou when I visit guangzhou next time. The standard of Hilton is maintained here.

Our stay at Conrad was absolutely fantastic. We were provided with excellent customer service from arrival to checkout. The bell desk staff always opened the door for us, housekeeping was superb, our rooms were always clean. Chinese restaurant food was delicious. The executive lounge staff was always so welcoming and attentive. Cynthia Lin really made us feel welcome and provided excellent customer service. Always so professional. Offered to help call and make a reservation for us. She was the star at the executive lounge. Our stay was memorable and will definitely be back.

I stayed at the Conrad Guangzhou for three nights. The location is very convenient, right in a shopping mall with international stores and many restaurants. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, as expected from Conrad. Service was solid. The room was large and comfortable. As a Hilton Gold member, I received an upgrade to a corner room. The spa and pool area is good. Two small outdoor whirlpools, one indoor pool, which also seems to be used by outside guests. A plus is the gender-separated spa with a large Finnish sauna and even a steam room. Plenty of towels and showers, all very clean. The main downside was breakfast. It was a basic business hotel setup, even on weekends. Industrial orange juice, not fresh. The coffee was particularly bad, even for someone who is not a coffee enthusiast.

This was my first stay at the Conrad Guangzhou, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. As someone who has stayed at most of Guangzhou’s 5-star hotels, I can confidently say this is one of the best. ||I was warmly welcomed at check-in as a Hilton Gold member and received a generous upgrade to a spacious suite—complete with two toilets, ample living space, and an incredibly comfortable bed with perfect pillows. The hotel’s location is ideal, right in the heart of the city and connected to a large shopping mall, making it extremely convenient for Canton Fair visitors. ||My only complaint is the hotel’s unreasonable incidental deposit policy. Despite paying for my room in cash upon arrival, the front desk insisted on placing a RMB 2000 hold on my credit card. To make matters worse, I was told the refund could take up to a month to process after cancellation. For context, my room rate was only RMB 1400/night, so the deposit amount felt excessive—especially compared to the RMB 500 hold required at the Shangri-La Ningbo, where I stayed at the night before. ||While I highly recommend the Conrad for its luxury, service, and location, the deposit policy is unnecessarily strict and could be a dealbreaker for some guests. Hopefully, management will reconsider this practice.

Chinese hospitality definitely doesn’t work well for international standards, even if you’re at a 5-star hotel. No one was rude but most of the service just doesn’t come off as super professional. The hotel isn’t old but for some reason, Chinese hotels cannot keep up with the cleanliness, as you can see from the stains on the walls.

Very nice hotel and can watch the tv from the mirror while I did my makeup. Service is good and room is nice The downside is there’s no robot to send the food delivery to the room and the staff keep reject my parcel delivery but all is settled with great follow up from one of the lady staff from the executive floor that is helping with the check in
