Conrad's Crabs and Seafood Market- Bel Air, MD

Food is always delicious. Cold crabs are deff the best deal, I've converted many friends, family, and co-workers to the cold crabs! The mussels and seafood broil is a nice treat yourself dinner. Burgers with fries i always recommend, nice thick patties and they have the gooood French fries. The BLTs are nice for lunch time. Also staff is always great. Wish I could remember their names but I remember Tarit, always super sweet and helpful!

This is my go to for when the family wants crabs. The staff always provide great customer service, delicious steamed corn and heavy crabs 🦀

Our crabs were delicious. Seasoned well and meaty. Cream of crab excellent as usual, so much lump crab meat Service was great. He was polite and courteous. Coming back to ensure we enjoyed our meat.

I recently visited Conrad’s for the first time less than 1 week ago. The customer service was very good from placing order by phone, paying for my order and well as picking up my order. The smell of my crabs were phenomenal and the seasoning tastes awesome. My complaint is that I purchased medium females and they were smaller than small. I was very disappointed.

Ordered 2 dozen of large live crabs today from the Bel Air location, Most of them were not Large!! Started ordering live ones because we noticed that our crabs were cold on the inside where they were reheating cold crabs, and selling them as HOT crabs after we specifically told them we wanted fresh steamed crabs!! Been going to Conrad’s for years!! If they don’t get themselves together, we will be going somewhere else!! The problem is with the Bel Air location!! We could have just purchased $1.00 small crabs!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

We have been going to Conrad’s Bel Air for a quite few years and purchased many gift cards. I don’t know what has changed, but something definitely has. The last 3 times we have ordered, the food was not very good. This time we ordered a Fried Shrimp Entree and Soft Crab Sandwich and crab soup. The shrimp were really over cooked and dried out. The bread for the sandwich was stale and the soup is very, very salty. When we ordered crabs a few weeks ago, 6 of the crabs were undersized. Unfortunately, this will be our last purchase. I sure hope something changes.

It’s ok. I went for the first time a couple days ago. The soft shell crab sandwich was ok. My husband said the shrimp scampi was ok. The stuffed shrimp was good, but expensive for the size. It was $22 for 4 shrimp. They took about 40 mins or so for that order. Today I called ahead my order and was told it would be ready in 20 mins. I wound up waiting for an additional 20 mins for fish and chips and one shrimp taco. The food was ok.

The food is ABSOLUTELY delicious! You have to try the Cajun Shrimp Toast and Shrimp salad. You won't go wrong with any choice you make at this place. I will be coming here often and recommending it to everyone! Enjoy!

Service is so nice. I ordered the soft shell crab platter with a side of vegetables and corn. Both were amazing. The fries weren't very seasoned. It gets cold when eating inside so bring a jacket. Lots of locally made ice-cream in the freezer

Crabs are heavily seasoned so if that's not your thing you can suggest less. I liked the seasoning and overall 8.5/10 from our experience. Service was great and although this location isn't a restaurant there are a few tables in the store. Crawfish are available, fresh and alive which is hard to find in Harco. Several fresh fish options and a massive refrigerator section offering some of our local dairy options. We did not care for their shrimp salad as the roll was thick and shrimp were tough, 6/10. We will remember Conrad's for crabs!

I call this place the crab emporium! It's completing to the eye and every time I'm in this establishment I feel Like I'm part of the family! You're immediately greeted when you enter, the fish is always fresh, suggestions are usually great! Came today and was looking for any specials in fresh fish and was surprised the snapper was! As always I wasn't disappointed! Also chose to get a fresh fish sandwich which today was your choice, just had to pay the the up charge for frying but it was Devine! I choose the Catfish! Very meaty and well worth the price just wished they would season the fish itself as that would've given them a 5 Star!

Fast Friendly Service, is always a plus. The food was delish. Unfortunately they were sold out of oysters so we settled for crab cakes instead. There was the cutest crab table and chair set that put the touching on the dinning area. Very much clean and we enjoyed the smell of Obay.!!!

I don't know why every time I cross the border into Maryland, I always have to get a crab cake no matter the cost. On this recent journey, I discovered this establishment which has a seafood market where you can purchase everything from shrimp by the pound to the delicious Maryland blue crabs. Seafood platters are also available for purchase and are served with two sides of your choice. There are four locations located in the state, so if you have a seafood craving it's worth giving this establishment a try.

I have never been so impressed by a crab and seafood business. From the time we pulled into the parking lot to receive what was ordered. The lines between the parking spots were clearly painted black with white stencils of fish, crustaceans, etc. What a nice touch. Creative for sure. We entered and were immediately fascinated by the surroundings. No holds bared. To the right is where you order and pay. The team of young ladies was a good face for the business, very lively, helpful, and had a strong working knowledge of the job. They all had great personalities! We had called in an offer from fb, buy 1 doz female LG crabs, and get the 2nd doz of the same for free. It came to $55. I could not find a better deal anywhere. They were nice and heavy, fresh and hot. I did àsk for more seasoning on them, which they did for free. Truthfully, it was not needed. They have specials throughout the week and do a slamming good business. If you want to eat in, there are a few tables and chairs.

Every time I drive through Maryland to or from NY, we always make it a a point to stop at Conrad's to grab some fresh eats and live crab to enjoy at home. The folks are always friendly and patient with all my unending questions. And the food is always fresh and delicious!

I recently ordered a Grilled Shrimp and Bacon BLT. They send me two pieces of bread with the toppings and 6-7 tiny shrimp on the side. I had to recreate my sandwich, resulting in a half sandwich because the shrimp were so small. Please don't order this sandwich. You'll be cheated out of your money.

We love to order crabs from this location and typically have sit down meals at the Abington restaurant. I Extremely enjoyed my Valentines Day special. The sides of soup, Veggies, salad and cheesecake were a bonus! It was nice to have a delicious meal even though we were stuck at home with sick kids. They were a fan of the fries. My husband's meal was a bit of a let down tho. He wasn't asked how he wanted his burger cooked when ordering but it was way too raw. We will definitely be ordering again but remember to specify wellness if we get a burger in the future

A great atmosphere with a WONDERFUL selection of crabs. The new location has ample parking and more seating. I had the pleasure of enjoying the delicious crabs at this restaurant. Our group ordered the XL females. They were flavorful and had plenty of meat. Along with the great playlist of music playing in the background, our appetites were sated and our hearts were happy. For someone who missed out on crab season last year, this was a great treat. I can't wait to go back.

Although I'm allergic to shellfish, my friends ALWAYS order from Conrad's and I have peeled almost half every time! (I do have to wear PPE gear, but it's worth it!) The crabs don't smell fishy or crabby. They smell like their marinade (old bay) and have it caked on. They are large and meaty and always very well cooked through and through. Peeling them is fun because I can explore their insides and challenge myself with getting as much meat out of their legs as possible! It's a wonderful experience and I'm just sorry I won't ever be able to visit the store.

What a great experience for our first time for steamed crabs this season. We ordered Jumbos and they were big and full. Customer Service is always outstanding. Looking forward to crabs all summer!

Clean and staff are friendly. Food is good but a little spendy compared to other places we've tried. Casual and decent amount of seats if you want to eat there. Seemed most people came in for takeout.

Conrad's was packed when we walked in, for good reason. Great bar, great service, and great food. The beer list is good, both for bottled and draught. We had a Crab Dip Pretzel, which easily started the four of us, and was splendid! One of our party had the Sloppy Joe on a Sub roll, which was surprisingly not Sloppy, and was so big that some was going to be the next day's lunch. Two of us had the special of the day, the Drunken Captain, risotto covered with more crab dip with an amazing crab cake. Top that off with a stunning Maryland Crush menu and service by the adorable and talented Elli, and you have a great dining experience.

Your employees attention to making me (the customer) feel valued and important. From the first interaction of entering Conrad's the vibe is welcoming. Being greeted and employee's ability to make eye contact, smiling, and happy is amazing! Conrad's is doing what a lot of businesses no longer understand! If I feel like I'm just a number, you're NOT getting my hard earned money, plain and simple! It's that nuance that people can spot a mile away. Phoniness is the first reaction customers experience. Conrad's employees are genuine. In this economy, I APPRECIATE the loyalty program, it's the best! When you offer fantastic food, wonderful service, and loyalty perks, it's a complete win. I am a loyal customer and recommend Conrad's whenever I can!!

The economy a mess. Politics a mess. World news a mess. Yet here we are at the best. The best seafood spot in Bel Air. Everything is always clean and presentable - Presentation is everything - The price point, "is what it is" however sometimes you just have to treat yourself.

Worst fish n' chips I have ever had. Wafer-thin fish that was all breading and no fish. Tasted like an aquarium. Very disappointing considering their reputation.

The staff is the best, and all the food is seasoned well. The butterflied shrimp are always delicious and the shucked oysters are so flavorful! I hope they always keep the oyster flight. It was spot on!!!

The food was FANTASTIC!!! Plenty of food You can get fresh fry fish or bake. The staff is friendly and the place is very clean. You can buy raw seafood and make it home too. You are going to love it . Oh!! They have a cool table and chairs too.

Wow, it was my first time in Maryland and I heard so much about Conrad's, that I had to try their crabcakes. They definitely did not disappoint as I had some of the best crabcakes I've ever eaten. Once I move into town, I will most definitely be back, and I am looking forward to trying more Maryland seafood. Thank you again!

I've visited Conrad's for a few years now enjoying their Perry Hall location so it was great to see them open up a seafood market in Bel Air. The market has an ample amount of fresh seafood with reasonable prices. I've seen Salmon, Lobster, Flounder, Ahi Tuna, Grouper, Clams, Perch, Orange Roughy, Snapper, Sea Bass, Live Crawfish to name a few and of course Crabs. Also, some unexpected items like Alligator and Escargot (frozen) as well some rotating desserts. (Chocolate Mousse, Tiramisu) I've ordered the Crab Dip (cold) and Shrimp Salad and both were excellent. Decided to try some of the menu items on our second visit. They have a good selection of appetizers, sandwiches, Entrees & A la Carte items. We ordered the Crab Balls (Broiled)& Calamari which were both tasty and seasoned just right. The Oysters A la Carte come frozen to be prepared/pan fried at home (didn't know that). After pan frying them, the Oysters were delicious! (Would recommend they have some inf. on their website and maybe including the best way to prepare them). Also, ordered the Maryland Melt which was a tasty combo of Lump Crab meat, Bacon and cheese. The Crab Dip Burger was over the top rich with a generous portion of dip topping the Angus burger. It's all takeout (for now) and they seemed to have a good system for ordering and pickup as well curbside drop off. Friendly and upbeat people behind the counters and on the phone when taking orders. Great to have this market in Bel Air!

Another great crab cake. The coleslaw and broccoli salad were delicious too! The staff is always so pleasant. The crab cakes were still hot and ready when promised.

After I bought two sandwiches, I waited 27 minutes to get them. Sent comment about this in Facebook Messenger. Their excuse was that it normally takes about 25 minutes since the cook fresh to order. If you check out the photo of one of my sandwiches, you have to be creative to say it looks fresh and appetizing. To me, it looks like roadkill. And it tasted like what a roadkill would taste like.

Service is good in this busy atmosphere of customer service. Crabs are always good, and seasoned well.

Visited the Bel Air location on friday 10-20-23 6:30 pm. There was already quite a crowd the staff was very friendly and efficient! I bought steamed carbs and used a coupon in a crab cake sandwich that came with chips. The crabs were perfectly seasoned and packed yummy! The crab cake sandwich was absolutely awesome! I call myself a crab cake snob I never really like the ones I buy out but I gave it a try!! I am so impressed with the sandwich a TRUE Maryland crab cake it was so good absolutely no shell! The roll was perfect and it was cooked to perfection!! I will be a regular customer!! If you haven't tried them, what are you waiting for? Enjoy!!!

Love their food! You can't go wrong whatever you decide to try. All the seafood is displayed so beautifully. They take pride in their work and they love their customers!

The crabs are amazing, and full of crabmeat and yummy mustard. We didn't have a light crab. The seafood Cobb is also great! Highly recommend.

We tried Conrad's new Beef sandwich and we both enjoyed them. For around 8$ they are a good addition to their delicious Seafood and great tasting Crabs. We will definitely get them again on Saturdays.

I can't think of any improvements needed at Conrads in Belair; the personnel is always attentive and pleasant to interact with. I love the size of the Lake trout and it is delicious.

Done with Conrads. So far this summer I've gotten a can of spoiled jumbo lump crab, spoiled cod fish and today I ordered 4 lbs. of 10-15 steamed shrimp with no old bay, but got about 3.5 lbs. covered in old bay. I was making Mexican dishes so I made my own seasoning blend. Three strikes and you're out. I'm gonna have to go back to seafood stop.

Really loved the broccoli salad but my clam strips were like shoe leather. Literally inedible. We thought we'd share my husbands fish and chips but it was SO FISHY he barely got a half a piece down even smothered in Tartar sauce. On top of everything else the coleslaw container was not sealed tightly and leaked all over my pant leg on the way home.

I'm not usually one to complain or make a fuss over food but I must say after spending $249 on 3 dozen "Large" crabs I was really disappointed with these SMALL crabs I received. The crabs were 5 1/2" to 5 7/8" and super LIGHThese are what I would expect at an AYCE price not $83 a dozen. Madonna's Seafood has never let us down with their LARGE crabs at $68/dozen but they were out of crabs already so we decided to give this place a try for crabs. I have had fried oysters and soft crab sandwiches here and they were good. But really disappointed with the money spent for crabs especially on Father's Day. UPDATE: Mandy called me to explain the mixup and offered to give me a refund, credit or new order of crabs. I took the new order of crabs and they were AWESOME! Will be going back to Conrad's for sure. Food is great and customer service is even better!!!!

Great crabs. Hot and tasty. We usually get the hot pickin bushel and always satisfied. Got some this weekend and over a third of the 92 crabs were large and heavy. Rest were small but heavy. No complaints in any way. Staff always outgoing and friendly
