"Wicker Park: Michigan State University favorite Conrad’s Grill, where the speciality was late-night wraps filled with tater tots, closed in November at 1422 N. Milwaukee Avenue. The 1,600-square-foot space with basement is on the market, according to broker Michael Weber." - Ashok Selvam

"Conrad’s Grill, a popular eatery for college kids that debuted 11 years ago near Michigan State University, is moving to the big city with a Wicker Park location. Conrad’s will next week debut its first Chicago location — and first outside the Mitten State — tapping into the city’s large Big Ten alumni base for a bit of nostalgia. The fast-casual spot is best known for tater tot wraps. Fried potatoes inside a tortilla shell may not sound special, but legions of Spartan alums swear by the combo. Ownership doesn’t call the signature item a burrito, though they share many of the same characteristics of the Mexican item. Instead, Conrad’s is “the original home of the Tot-Wrap.” They’re marketed as an all-day treat: Egg wraps are good for a quick breakfast, while cheesesteak or chicken tender wraps are capable of soaking up late-night alcohol. Opening date is Wednesday, November 14 at 1422 W. Milwaukee Avenue. A local Chicago ownership group is determined to open three to five more Conrad’s locations in the city." - Ashok Selvam

My first time trying it and wow, I am not disappointed at all. I got the Number 2 based on the guy's suggestion, which has just an amazing mix of crunchy with the chicken, and savory. No one else was there when I was, but please don't let that fool you and just go in!

Had the bacon chicken and swiss wrap tasted pretty good, the portion is huge which made it worth the price. Restaurant was clean.

Awesome offering of wraps- highly recommend the #1 and the Sweet Thai. Just a few blocks from the Blue Line. Check it out- you won't be disappointed!

Some of the best waffle fries I've had! Like even better Arby's curly fries. I got the Dweeb wrap and it was just super tasty comfort food. I had an issue with delivery but the staff at Conrad's was amazing in handling it and getting me my order as soon as they heard something had gone awry. It's not every day that a place will go the extra mile to make something right, and these guys did. I will absolutely be coming back again due to the quality of food and service.

Conrad's is by far one of the best food joints in all of Chicago. I write a good amount of food reviews, but my goodness was I blown away by not only the plethora of choices on the menu, but the incredibly delicious food. Highly recommend trying this place out any time of the day or night!

This place has a great staff and fantastic drunk/hangover food. The lack of customers doesn't do it justice... i think the problem is their misleading "clean and healthy"-looking storefront aesthetic. Hope they get some cartoony tater tots painted on their windows or something because they deserve more walk-ins!

My Son brought home one of these wraps for me and it was...Amazing! He had told me about Conrad's and I was a little skeptical, it's a very different concept. But it was sooo tasty! I don't remember what mine was called but my wrap had eggs, sausage and french toast in it. The best part is that I didn't know what was in it, so it put a smile on my face when I figured it out. Don't ask me how, but it totally works - all I can say is you gotta try it for yourself!

Honestly I hated the burrito I ordered. Most of the options are made to cause heart attacks. It sounded good but after a few bites it just wasn't it. Delivery was good. The food was still hot. But I was not impressed. Just to much.
