My dream shopping experience! I live a block away and have become known for swinging by an hour or two before an event- everyone on staff, including the owner, go above and beyond each and every time I shop there. They make perfect suggestions, and always provide the most warm and lovely shopping experience. Selection is amazing but it’s really the people here that make the place.

I really liked this store and bought a vintage coat and a Burberry cape. My first vintage purchases ever. Not sure why the reviews are so negative.

Originally had 3.5 STARS I - I learned I can pick-up my clothes as long as its before the 70% off which is great- so that helped me change my review and experience. *my previous review* I have a lot of clothes, some unworn with tags, some gently worn, yet all of them kept with love. I find the collection at Consignment Brooklyn quite eclectic and I've purchased from there before. I made my appointment March 1st and I came in on June 2nd so 3 months wait time. *** Today I dropped off clothes, and I brought them on Hangers, which I removed as advised. It takes nearly 6 weeks to 2 months for the Clothing to be Priced - then once you get the price, you either like the prices for ALL and keep it with CB or if there is even ONE you don't like the price of you have to pick up your pieces within 48 hours.*** I didn't realize this and I didn't read it anywhere, yet I took back some pieces I knew I would be upset if it was lower than I expected. I understand these are just clothes, yet I was a little irked that I had ironed a lot of these clothes, and the Manager/Owner (I wasn't sure seemed like the lady making decisions) threw the ones they didn't accept in a bag and gave them back to me. I like democracy I hope I don't get punished for it. The staff is very polite, the store has a very clean colorful vibe !!! Their Phone is Disconnected, and they prefer EMAIL or DM ON INSTAGRAM!

Google
I really liked the store and last August I gave them 2 items to consign. Since then, crickets. I started emailing in January asking what happened. I've now emailed 3 times with no update whatsover from them. The phone number just goes to a recorded message. :(

Google
great selection of designer clothes in good used condition. the prices are high, but on par with most upscale consignment stores in nyc. the bag and shoe selection was disappointingly small. not sure if CBK outlet a few doors down is affiliated but i scored 3 vintage blazers for $100 and would recommend starting there

Some cool pieces but service wasnt great, they seem to only give you time of day if they recognize you from a prior purchase

Google
Real good price range and had a very extraordinary experience shopping there today! Did very enjoyed the store’s environment, very well putted together!

Love this store and when I consign I receive checks with detailed, numbered sales so I can easily keep track! The store is a gem and so is their little shop near it.

Yelp
This shop is very nicely laid-out. The clothes are usually arranged by color, which is nice. There are two dressing rooms and they are certainly large enough and have their own private mirrors (so you are not 'forced' to come out to use a public mirror). I've gotten some really nice things here. However my one point of contention is that they imply that all their clothing is high-end designer clothing. It is not. I'm not saying that's necessarily an issue...certainly not for me...but I think they should indicate that more clearly. In fact, it's sort of an odd combination...for a store to carry high-end designer right along with regular clothing that I'd describe as 'ethnic', for lack of a better description. It so happens that I do like a wide range of clothing...both designer looks and more simple (non-designer) looks. What I go by is the quality of fabric, the details, special stitching, etc. So I have bought some of the more 'ethnic' items here. But I would imagine for folks that only want high-end designer, they may be a bit perplexed at some of the selection here. By the way, this ethnic clothing I refer to looks (to my eye) like the type of clothing (it was mainly tops) that you might see folks wearing in parts of Northern Africa, or else in India or Bangladesh, etc. I bought a few such tops and they were cotton, some with a Nehru type color or 3/4 sleeves with embroidered pattern at the band, or else an easy-breezy loose gauzy cotton top.

Yelp
I think this is often a great place for finding clothes. It can be hit or miss for me--but that's true in any store. Overall they have some great, high-quality clothes, and what you spend really varies. There are dresses in the $300s but you can also sometimes find a dress for under $100. They also have sales so depending on what's happening there on any given week you might be able to find something that has been significantly marked down.

Yelp
This place has the worst customer experience ever if you're trying to sell something through them. They don't answer their emails, are rude in person and gives you the brush off if you no longer want to sell with them. I brought in 4 pairs of designer shoes for them to sell and after going through all the back and forth, their online portal never worked on day 1. Called them multiple times and was told it's up to me to track if any of my items sold. Not sure how I can do that if none of my items showed up on the portal. After 3 months, I decided to retrieve my shoes. When I showed up, they lost all my original dust bags and the heel taps on my Gucci's were missing. At least the owner offer to pay for the repair after I reached out with pictures of the shoes while I was in the store with her 2 workers there as proof it was broken in the store before I brought it home. Save yourself the aggravation and DON'T CONSIGN HERE! You have been warned.

Yelp
this place has a doorbell during regular operating hours, indicating that they only want to serve a certain customer base and they want to be able to judge the people they allow into the store before they enter. take with that what you will.

Yelp
I absolutely love this store and make a special stop in any time I'm in the area. They specialize in more high-end consignment, and you can always find such beautiful vintage designer clothing here. The shop is so well organized and meticulously arranged by occasion/color. Prices range from average to above average, so there is something for everyone. This is a great place to find amazing pieces that will be in your wardrobe forever.

Yelp
Kind and helpful staff. Beautifully curated. Not sure why it doesn't have 5 star reviews. Purchased a wine colored Rebeca Taylor leather blazer and if not short on time would have tried on a gazillion things.

Yelp
Twice in the past, in NY City and another part of Brooklyn, I was cheated by consignment stores and became extremely suspicious about them--those places took my items, sold them and passed on only a fraction, or in one case, none of the proceeds. Whether through poor administration or lack of ethics, the result was upsetting. When I brought a number of items to Consignment Brooklyn this summer and only one item had sold by mid September, I queried the manager, Lucy, by phone. She was very pleasant and explained the store's process which entailed holding back most of the items for better sale timing. However, given my past experience, I became suspicious and asked for my goods back. Lucy gave me no flak about this and my items were all collected and returned the next day. Very organized and very professional. My suspicions were totally unfounded. Consignment Brooklyn clearly does have excellent administration and fills an otherwise difficult to find niche between The Real Real's focus on ultra-luxury brands only, and many other consignment stores' preferences for T shirts and jeans. My apologies to Consignment Brooklyn, and my recommendation to Yelp readers. I did find good service there as a seller, as well as some good buys for myself and my grown daughter.

Yelp
A friend said we should stop in. We did and were immediately greeted by a lovely young lady and an adorable younger girl who recites her discount pitch to us. It started out so cute and welcoming. We scanned the store, I found a cool skirt, and I noticed I was being followed by the dirty-blonde middle aged woman. Since she was following me I decided to diffuse the uncomfortable atmosphere she was creating and take the opportunity to start a conversation and give her a pointer about advertising skirts with pockets because they are such a catch. She immediately took offense and made the whole thing even more uncomfortable. My friend was deeply annoyed at her extreme lack of customer service skills at this point and stormed out. Confused, I tried to help her understand what I was saying but she remained rigidly offended so I promptly followed my friend out the door. We turned the corner and had an amazing experience at a vintage shop nearby where we had a significantly better experience and purchased a ton of cute stuff. No attitudes or weirdness and a hell of a lot of graciousness. It was a breath of fresh air after having dealt with the unnecessary gravity at Brooklyn Consignment.

Yelp
This is the first time that I have ever left a review on yelp. I have been shopping at this store for many years. On Saturday, October 16th I was in the store and saw a pair of earrings that I loved. However, the earrings have no backings on them when I inquired about it the sales woman said "If we had any it would be on there". I returned on Saturday, October 23rd and I decided to buy them and the sales woman suggested that I purchase some backings from Amazon. Since I love the earrings I figured this would be an easy fix but, to no avail. I tried 7 different backings and none of them worked. The earrings keep falling off my ears. I reached out to the store and was hoping that given this scenario they would be accommodating and would allow me to make an exchange for a much higher priced earrings that I liked. Nope, they would not allow store credit or a refund. I didn't want a refund and I didn't need store credit because I was ready to make my next purchase. When I spoke to Charlotte the store manager on Friday, November 5th she was very professional and offered to pay for new backings. However, I don't think the backings is the problem or the solution since the stem on the earrings are too worn out so nothing will worked. I let Charlotte know that I am very disappointed in the way this is being handled and that I will never shop in this store again. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to matter.

Yelp
Really good selection of minimalist and eclectic clothing and shoes. Really great vibe. A bit of a pricy side with the shoes but it's Celine and maryam nassir zadeh after all. There are moderately priced shoes, great styles. Clothing ranges from like $90 to $300 or so. I really loved it, walked away with a marni dress for $165.

Yelp
Idk how this place doesn't have all five star reviews. I'm obsessed w it. I love thrifting/ consigning and this spot is dangerously close to my house. Every time I've gone in I've found something I love. They have everything from madewell to nasty gal to Armani to reformation. Today I went for their 80% off basement sale and it was so good and so fun to search through their selection. The clothes are very well maintained and the store is very organized and clean. I met the owner Eva today who is an angel. I couldn't recommend this spot more.

Yelp
It's a fine place to drop by every once in a while -- you may find some good deals but quality of inventory has gone down, and it's probably because the consignor experience leaves a lot to be desired. I understand it's a small operation with a small support team, but they've been around for some number of years and with increased volume, you'd think they would figure out how to scale. If you are looking to consign: Only do so if you ultimately don't care how much money you make, because it won't be much. Even if sold at evaluated price, the percentage split with the store and the consignor leans heavily in the store's favor. Further, anything that doesn't sell will be put on sale, at which point you'll make little to nothing. Also, forget about visibility -- you'll get an itemized list with evaluated price anywhere between 2 and 6 weeks after you drop off the items, and you won't have any idea which items sold or are still sitting on the sales floor. They'll toss this up to "we have a small team." After a period of time, items are put on discount but it's on you the consignor to keep track of when this date is because again, they're too small a team to give consignors a heads up. If you want to cancel a consignment, you can email them and they'll send you a snappy email to pick up asap because they're a small store. Oh.... and.... they charge you 5 dollars per pay out check. TLDR; fine place to shop, but consign elsewhere.

Yelp
These people are professionals! I brought some of my higher end designer clothes here for the first time in October 2019 and I'm so glad that I did. Lucy was so helpful. She took the time to explain the process to me and patiently answered all of my questions, even via email. They sent me a contract shortly after dropping my clothes off and I was very pleased with the pricing. However, after a few weeks I did decide to keep my items and they quickly and politely returned them to me. Spring cleaning is coming up so I'm sure I'll be visiting again soon!

Yelp
I love supporting local businesses and high end clothing... I think this store has gotten a little too full of itself. It used to feel welcoming and interesting (with way more high end labels), and my more recent experiences have been disappointing. The owner is not friendly (condescending), which is a strange mix given she should want to cultivate relationships since they help business. The staff are either overwhelmed or disinterested, with the exception of one woman who is very friendly and helpful, finding me a great dress. Going back to the good ole days is a good idea...

Yelp
First off I heard about this place before but never found any real time to go. However, this weekend I stop by and yes the merchandise is A+. No doubt about it and stage nicely in the store as well. It really has great vintage designer selections, especially handbags and shoes. However, as everyone has said if your on a budget this place is not for. Also, if you like a little customer service with the price you paying, this is not for you either. The Handbags & Shoes are the bees kness:)

Yelp
Eva has an extraordinary eye - you can trust that everything on the floor has been hand-picked for quality. The store offers designer & alt-designer clothes, shoes & bags for a fraction of what you would pay for them retail (Dries, Owens, Isabel Marant, Acne). For a taste of what they have on offer (as well as heads up on sales), follow them on Instagram. Some of the reviews here mention a snooty staff. I've never experienced that. I have found everyone to be courteous, friendly and respectful, engaged when I had questions, but otherwise leaving me to my own devices (which is the kind of service I prefer). I've also worked with Eva in her closet-cleaning, wardrobe upgrade service and for anyone who is thinking that they might need the same I say DO IT. She doesn't mess around - the process was fun, yes, but also efficient. We did the closet-cleaning, during which we chatted about what I liked, and where I was looking to stylistically go. Then she spent a day scouting stores & sending me pictures of things she found to see what I liked (and didn't like). After that, we shopped together for 3 hours - and boom, just like that, I have a tight, beautiful perfect-for-me selection and a bunch of styling ideas using things I already have. It seems like such a luxury to use a service like this but, honestly, I find that I am making better choices about what to put in my (wonderfully airy) closet (read: fewer expensively suspect decisions). If there is something I have a question about, I text a picture to Eva and she send me back her thoughts. I can't recommend Eva & the store highly enough.

Charro L.

Yelp
Wow! Recently stopped by this store not having been there for 2 years. How it has changed. I asked one of the sales people where all the high end labels were. She told me that they are mostly showing brooklyn designers now. Oh, I guess that is why the shoes look like they are from K Mart and the clothes are dowdy and blah. Too bad. The store at one time had wonderful A List designers that flew off the hanger. Nothing good lasts forever.

Branfa B.

Yelp
I bought something here and the following day after a Google search, to my dismay, I discovered that I paid it exactly full price, as if it were a brand new item of clothing (I did a Google search in the store too, but only found the item the following day). When I bought it I suspected it was probably overpriced, but I thought it was a matter of $30 or so. I had no idea it was priced as if it were new. Whoever sets the prices should do better research. I can't return what I bought because of store policy, but I am very annoyed -- I feel cheated, and I probably won't be coming back. The store has a nice selection of high end and middling designer clothes, but my experience shows that one has to be very very careful while shopping here. I can't believe I paid full price for a used item.
google avatar

T B.

Yelp
I read the reviews and I still went. The staff are rude. I was the only person in the store and they spoke to me once-or maybe I was dreaming? They definitely should not be in the business of selling anything since they were clearly not interested in selling clothes. The clothes were pretty nice. They appeared as though they came from some wealthy woman's closet 3 years ago. They were mostly timeless pieces but there were definitely some dated items. The shoes were the best part of the store. I actually liked a nice pair of designer shoes but decided not to purchase them since the staff were too busy helping themselves to an attitude rather than helping me. I left. I might come back but I definitely won't make a strong effort to.

Yelp
I have a love/hate relationship with Consignment. I love the store. I hate the fact that, once there, I cannot shop to my heart's content. I enter the store repeating the number on my bank account balance in my head, well knowing I have rent to pay, birthday gifts to purchase, plane tickets to reserve, etc...And then I see that 3.1 Philip Lim jacket I so desperately wanted last season but am much too poor to afford. Only now it's 40% off. Who cares if it's a size big and it's still $300-something with the markdown?! I usually walk out empty-handed (and give myself a big pat on the back) but I am sure I'll do some damage there soon enough. Oh, one Actual complaint: watching the overly-smug sales people silently judge my outfit is more than a tad irritating. It's so "Pretty Woman" without the prostitution bit.
google avatar

Amy D.

Yelp
Staff can be a little standoffish at times but who cares, I need shoes, not friends. I try to come here often since the selection is always changing and oftentimes there are actually size 5 shoes that actually fit me. For example, today I tried on Costume Nationals - perfect fit, great condition, just not exactly my style. Also, Jimmy Choos. Same story. In other news, top find of my many visits here was a HOT vintage lined long navy burberry trench for a steal-ish. Prices are reasonable considering the original price of items; definitely comprable to E. Village consignment shops. Pro tip: First go to the other Eva Gentry spot for heart palpitations (the fashion! the prices! the scoffing sales-folk!) and then head over to the consignment shop for a more down to Earth adventure in luxury. Good luck!
google avatar

Jen C.

Yelp
The clothes are beautifully curated, high end designers. But I do wonder about their pricing. The very first time I went into the store I spotted a pair of gently used Jacqueline Schnabel for Calypso shoes selling for @ $200. The irony: I had purchased those very same shoes the year before for $50 at a Calypso end of season sample sale. Essentially, Consignment was selling the used item for full price when the very retailer who sold the line (as an exclusive no less) had already moved them out. So do your homework before purchasing...or you could be paying full price for used items. As for the staff, quite honestly, you can walk into Bergdorf's dressed in rags and you will be treated a thousand times better. It would almost be better to just have one person whose only responsibility was to manage the cash register and let customers manage on their own.

Yelp
I passed by this store thinking it was just another boutique but then I noticed the designer shoes on the window display and my heart nearly skipped a beat!!! I couldn't believe my eyes. I barged into the store within seconds. I saw shoes, purses, and clothes!! My eyes were jumping all over the place. I think I almost passed out. I have been searching for a specific designer shoe in patent leather for months. Boy, I couldn't believe my eyes when I actually saw them there----- in MY SIZE!!!!! They fit like a glove. They were barely used and priced $275ish. Consider this a TOTAL bargain.... as the original price is well above $700+ (not including tax). I think they get their "inventory" every season (have to call and confirm), so it's not like those consignment shops that get stuff every day. However, I'm going to drop by every two weeks or so to check out the merchandise. I have my eye on several other things at the store. My only regret? I really wish I could have found this place earlier. I am in LOVE with this consignment shop. There are so many great designer items for a good fraction of the original price. These are quality items that will last a very long time. Oh yeah, shame on those writing mediocre reviews just because the prices are not within your range. Tsk Tsk Tsk. Just because you cannot afford something, it doesn't mean it's not good. Overall, this place is a total gem!!!! So if you're into designer clothing, shoes, and purses, and NOT on a budget, this place is a must. Actually, don't come. Stay away. You might buy something I may want to buy. Why I am evening writing this review. Oh lord.
google avatar

Yelp
Carefully edited and amazing selection of consigned designer clothing. Always find great treasures here- nearly new or some even still with tags. Staff is super helpful and honest with styling advice. Love shopping here. The owner rocks too.
google avatar

Craig K.

Yelp
Consignment is a hot spot! It's been a neighborhood staple for sometime. It's laid out in a functional way and nicely curated. The best part is the owner Eva is a 10! and man she is easy on the eyes. You all rock.

Caitlin V.

Yelp
I stopped in here and was barely greeted and no one offered to help me. I found a pair of jeans myself, tried them on, they didn't work, so I neatly folded them and replaced them on the shelf. As I left one of the salespeople called after me asking where the jeans were, she didn't see them in the dressing room. I told her I'd put them back. Was she accusing me of stealing when I was trying to be helpful to salespeople who'd made no effort to help me? Unfair.
google avatar

L K.

Yelp
-The selection is small but well-chosen--a very good source of Marni especially. -Unfortunately, I find it hard to find shoes in my (common) size 7. The shoe selection available was especially amazing for larger feet (39-41) when I visited the store... check it out either way, you might get lucky--they really have some fantastic stuff in stock. -The staff members were very friendly and nice to me when I visited. They seemed pretty helpful to the other customers in the store as well.

Yelp
I recently became hooked to this place. I live so close and never really looked for clothing in Consignment but boy was I missing out. The curation is great and the quality is amazing for used clothing so much in there still has the original tags as well. This is becoming my go to place to shop and it only gets better and better!! Staff is amazing and friendly, I love a business run by all women!!

Yelp
If you want a pleasant, productive consignment experience -- DO NOT GO HERE. Upon my first call to schedule an appointment I was given a date 3 weeks from then. Arriving at my duly scheduled time, i was made to wait and then told I would get pricing in 2 weeks, almost 4 weeks went by and when I called - they said "we're really backed up" and that their system 'had a melt down'. Hmmm, didn't think you might inform your customers of this? So here I am - sunk almost eight weeks into this relationship and am no closer to having an item for sale. I only chose this location due to its proximity to my house. WILL NEVER, EVER sell through them again.
google avatar

Paulette G.

Yelp
If you enjoy being treated like something stuck to the bottom of a fashion snob's shoe - despite having spent thousands of dollars in this store - then this is the place for you! On the positive side, the selection is great. But for the hassle of getting here, and dealing with the attitude, why not go to one of the dozens of other shops where the selection is great?

Hannah B.

Yelp
No. Just no. Omg, no. Why? Well, because last fall I made the (soon to be discovered) ill fated decision to consign a sweater with them. First problem, they took 2 full weeks to even put the sweater on the selling floor after it was accepted by them (and only after I called them so say, hello??? when you going to sell my sweater?). And when I decided to pick it up a couple of months later (instead of them putting in on promotion), nobody could find it. Why? Because it was hidden in the basement? Why? Because when it was finally 'located', it was returned to me with 15(!) holes in it without nary an acknowledgement by them of their neglect (it was just quietly handed to me in a bag and I discovered the holes upon opening it at home) Who does that?? Who are these people?? I fully documented all damage and correspondence after this discovery, and I demanded they pay for the damage: $320. It took 22, that's 22 emails with the owner to get her to agree to even splitting the cost of the repair of the damage that took place in her care. The first 21 emails were her implying I was a 'trouble' client, that she can't afford anything since she's a small business, more unprofessional nonsense, and blah blah. I've seen and worked though a lot of 'challenging' people in my life, but this situation wins hands down as just the most utterly disgraceful rubbish I've ever had to deal with. So, I'm left with a $160.00 bill to get this sweater back to it's original state. Happy New Year from Consignment Brooklyn...I guess? Disgraceful
google avatar

jessica l.

Yelp
yeah, this place is pretty good. i like it. it's nice that they have things that i want to buy at prices that i actually can afford. my only question about this little mini chain of butter-y places? why are they so god damned snooty?
google avatar

laurie t.

Yelp
I like their shop for buying but not for selling. Their consignment is 40% for the seller. Most places are 50%. If you want a 50% split go to almost any shop in Manhattan.

Janie T.

Yelp
I am reluctant to share this gem of a shop with others because Eva Gentry consignment resale clothes are so carefully selected, whether it be 1930'3, 1940's, or 1950's Vintage; hard to find pieces that may be the early designs of some of the best in clothing names, or recent picks of top designers, I have found them here and grabbed them up. I stop in every few weeks, always finding some 'must have' item. I live in Manhattan and make the trip here because it's "worth" it! Pros: Great and varied selection, priced right, high quality clothes, clean clothing

amanda s.

Yelp
Well I read the reviews somewhat disbelieving the comments. Then I called the store today (oct 31) to ask about consigning some items of clothing. The woman who answered the phone was extremly condensending! She told me many times that they are highly selective about what they take without out once asking me what I had in my wardrobe. Marni, lanvin, dolce , alexander wang, balenciaga and burberry as well as shoes and bags. I've been in the store a few times and its not all that. At the end of the conversation she told me that I could come in NOVEMBER 11 at 1.30pm. I'll update my review after my visit.
google avatar

Karol S.

Yelp
Cool store with some nice brand-name stuff but I found their whole arrangement by color really confusing. It would be better if they had shirts, dresses, coats, etc. instead of everything black, everything brown, everything pink. It looks nicer their way but makes shopping harder.

Yelp
This is my favorite store in the area! They have a great, well curated selection of unique pieces. The staff are friendly and helpful and it's usually not particularly crowded so you can peruse without having to elbow past anyone else. Love love love!

Yelp
Quite the hidden gem tucked away on Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn. It took me forever to get there, but was worth every minute of the travel. The store houses the likes of Ann Demeulemeester, Dries Van Noten, Margiela, Helmut Lang, and Mister Marc Jacobs. The selection was incredible and I could have done some serious damage in there, but of course, as a college student, I resisted. I left with a beautiful Ann Demeulemeester silk dress and cool leather jacket from some downtown Los Angeles designer. Impressive selection, store was lovely, and the staff was typical NYC. For consignment pieces, Consignment by Eva Gentry boasts the best of the best. Worth the trip!

Yelp
Nice stuff, but way out of my price range.

Yelp
Really interesting designers and a large selection, lots of it unusual. I found a Rick Owens jacket for less than two hundred dollars, yay, plus there was Chloe, Demeulemeester, Balenciaga and Helmut Lang. Contrary to other reviewers I found the service helpful and friendly.

Yelp
I always have good luck here - great selection of gorgeous, timeless pieces by really interesting designers. Every time I've gone the selection has been added to and it's meticulously displayed so the value of each piece is properly respected. I love it! Totally recommend it!

Yelp
Went recently and the staff was very helpful. Good selection and got lucky on the sizes that I wanted.

Yelp
I always buy my shoes here. Their consignment offerings are very well curated. You are not going to find any items that are not in impeccable condition. You will pay roughly half of what you would pay retail. I think their staff are very sweet I'm surprised at reviews that say they're not.

Yelp
I've been a happy client of this shop for 7 years now. The staff has always gone out of their way to help me. The merchandise selection is highly focused and beautifully curated. It is a must for the seasoned fashion shopper who is in the mood for a deal but not in the mood to weed through all the noise..

Yelp
My review is based on the staff. Everything everyone else has said about the products is accurate: well-curated, but expensive, collection. My rating of one star is for the outrageously rude staff and unpleasant experience being a shopper here. Haughty doesn't even begin to describe it. One might expect this sort of attitude at a top-of-the-line Manhattan boutique. But at a consignment shop? In Brooklyn? Really??

Yelp
I can't remember ever having a worse customer experience than I had at this place. The rude, snooty behavior of the employees towards someone who bought an expensive piece astounds me. I'll never go back.

Yelp
I decided to consign a pair of Dior shoes but I was the one who had to reach out to confirm whether the shoes had been sold since I had heard nothing. I was told that the check had been sent to me (but no email to give me a heads up, which could have saved the next issue). After I confirmed I never received the check, I was told that I would receive a new check less a $35 cancellation fee. I don't see how penalizing me for not having received the payment owed to me makes any sense, especially as they already take 60% of the selling price. If they care so much about losing checks, they should send out an email providing notice that the item has been sold and payment is on the way or they should send certified receipt/signature required. After refusing to accept the penalty for their cancelled check, they "waived" the fee as a "courtesy." I rather not risk being penalized the next time their check doesn't reach me and will not consign with them again.

Yelp
2 stars for name brand designers. Customer service nonexistent. Had about a dozen items in my hand standing right next to a group of girls that work there and they didn't offer any help. Ironically they were talking about being in the fashion industry. I rather pay full price.
