I had high expectations for Constantia Glen, but unfortunately, the experience fell short due to the staff’s less-than-accommodating and almost exclusionary attitude. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though we were more of an inconvenience than welcomed guests, which was disappointing given the reputation of the estate.
That being said, Tia truly saved the day with her warm and attentive service. She was the only staff member who made an effort to make us feel comfortable, and her kindness didn’t go unnoticed. If not for her, our visit would have been entirely forgettable.
For a venue of this caliber, operational excellence should be a priority, ensuring that service remains seamless even when the estate is at capacity. A stunning location alone isn’t enough—consistent, high-quality hospitality is what turns a beautiful setting into a truly exceptional experience. I hope management takes note, as there is great potential here, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired.
