Contigo Catering

We hired contigo catering for our September wedding, which had about 50 guests. Catering was our highest priority for our reception, since both of us are extremely passionate about good food and cocktails. At first, we had a bit of sticker shock from the event requirements, but it ended up being worth every penny for Contigo’s attention to detail, luxury service, and more. Lindsey was super helpful throughout the booking process, answering all of our questions, making adjustments to the menu, and organizing our tasting. Every Contigo team member we interacted with was very professional, and was super helpful when working with an event with lots of different allergies and dietary restrictions. The bartenders also did an amazing job, and we liked the signature cocktails from our tasting so much we ended up picking three of them. We fell in love with the food from Contigo’s tasting, and it tasted even better on our wedding day. One of us works in food media, we had a few colleagues wholeheartedly compliment the meal – a rarity in wedding food. We did our dinnerware rentals through Contigo, and everything looked elegant and stunning on the rentals we selected. Throughout the wedding day our personal server, Grace, ensured we were taken care of all night long. We’d gladly recommend Contigo for a wedding or private event if it’s within your budget.

I am in the restaurant business and was a guest at a large outdoor fundraising event that Contigo handled all of the food for. I am absolutely blown away with how they could give such great service and execute AMAZING food for such a large group. (Hundreds of people). Chicken isn’t supposed to taste so good! Especially in a catered setting. I really am blown away at their high level of staffing and hospitality along with remarkable food. I hope all the good juju from helping a non-profit’s large event comes their way because every aspect of their catering was top notch.

Contigo catered our daughter’s wedding and we were absolutely blown away by every detail. The initial tasting was awesome and so fun at the sweet little house in Hyde Park. The food, service, presentation, and cocktails at the wedding were exceptional and had everyone raving. We are so happy we chose to have Contigo for our special and HIGHLY recommended them for any catering need you may have.

Contigo was the perfect addition to our wedding day. We knew that we wanted fresh, light, healthy and family style food for our guests and that's exactly what we got! Every guest came up to us to say how amazing the food was. Months later and we are still getting compliments on the food!! We also used Contigo to book a lot of our rentals for wedding day and the experience could not have been better. We worked with Lindsey from day one and she was always there to answer all of my millions of questions and was able to give us the best advice from her years of experience. Additionally, the staff that worked our wedding day were SO kind and hard working, despite the heat and later rain. My husband and I always had fresh drinks, lots of samples during cocktail hour and the perfect plate of food waiting for us when we sat down to dinner. We could not recommend Contigo Catering enough!

I have had the pleasure of working with the Contigo team, both as a client and an event professional, and it is always a 10/10 experience. Most recently, Contigo Catering provided the cocktail services for my baby shower, and they completely knocked it out of the park. Their staff is always so friendly and professional, and their presentation is just as aesthetically pleasing as it is DELICIOUS (I'm still dreaming about their signature "el pepino" mocktail/cocktail). Contigo catering was outstanding for my intimate, ranch wedding in Wimberley, TX! My husband and I wanted a high end, quality, “ranchy” food experience for our 50 guests, and that’s exactly what we got! From the management (we loved working with Lindsey!) to the food quality, presentation, and specialty drinks, to the exceptional service level, Contigo provided and elevated experience that made our wedding day truly amazing! We received so many compliments about the food, and our guests loved the fire grill experience when they entered the reception. They took all of our feedback at the initial tasting and brought it to life on our big day. I highly recommend Contigo for any special event!

Contigo Catering is the ultimate catering service if you're looking for a unique & delicious dining experience for your guests. I'm a vendor in the wedding industry, so I've had the opportunity to work with Contigo on countless occasions (hey Ana, Brooke, Justin, Freddy, Joseph!!!). Not only do they make incredible food, it is beautifully presented and you can truly taste the love and care that goes into it. This should be reason enough to hire them for your wedding / event! From a vendor's point of view: they're simply the best. Always on point and ready to lend a hand and are true team players when it comes to assisting other vendors to get the job done. I've observed and personally received so much help from this team to make sure a wedding or event goes flawlessly. Just about everyone knows in the live event industry that the catering crew is the backbone of a successful event; they do everything from moving / setting the tables, sweeping the floor, problem-solving a power shortage situation, serving guests with a drink and a smile, calming the nerves of the mother of the bride, and miraculously find an extra tablecloth for a DJ (or whoever) forgot to order theirs. If you hire them, know you're in good hands and they're in the background helping everyone else too! They're just that good! Hire these professionals for your event and you'll be so glad you did!

We hired Contigo to cater multiple events during SXSW for a very high end client and they exceeded both mine, and the client's expectations. Brooke and her team were extremely professional and were able to adapt their set-up and menu to our venue. Throughout our entire proposal process Brooke was very patient with multiple revisions, and always ensured that the client was happy. We even had Chef Andrew come out to a private lunch and the guests LOVED hearing about Contigo and their food and mission. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be hiring them again!!

A little backgound...I catered weddings for a large catering organization for about 2 years, so I know how stressful weddings can be. That being said, we decided to have a garden wedding at our home (hoping to keep it small). In keeping with the garden theme, we wanted a caterer that would feature farm-to-table food that was tasty and reasonably priced. Enter Contigo Catering. We've gone to Contigo's restaurant on the east side many times and always enjoyed it. I was thrilled when I remembered that they also offered full-service catering. I contacted them and Brooke responded to me immediately with all the information we needed. (Many of the caterers I emailed just never bothered responding.). She was prompt in answering our questions, set up a tasting for us quickly, and came for a site visit all in a timely and organized manner. The weekend of our wedding was Memorial Day and there was MAJOR weather in the Austin area. It was a challenge for many of our other vendors but Contigo did not miss a beat. Even despite the weather her team remained calm, adapted and kept the party going for us. This is the email that I wrote to Brooke in response to her team's stellar job catering our wedding. "I just want to say, from my experience in catering and just in general, I was thoroughly impressed with your staff. Their ability to communicate quickly and efficiently with each other and our guests was a clear indicator of the level of professional you impart on them. Contigo Catering was absolutely our best vendor. From your responsive when we initially inquired, to your staff's adapting to the weather during the event...you team was an absolute delight. We had other vendors that showed a disregard for customer service and clearly placed a low priority on our wedding. I NEVER felt that way from Contigo. We felt special, tended-to, celebrated, appreciated and comfortable the whole night. Thank you. In addition we had MANY guests describe our food as "the BEST wedding food they have ever had." It tasted fresh and delicious...it was exactly what we wanted. I will go out of my way to recommend Contigo Catering to any of the couples that I encounter in my job. And I will make sure I say as much on social media. Please share this with your staff and thank them again for their hard work and for rolling with the punches this past weekend. Contigo Catering was incredible to work with! They catered our 300 person wedding in Austin and we couldn't have been happier with the food, the drinks, and their service. From the tasting to the main event, their staff was responsive, easy to communicate with and on top of all of the details and changes. Not only was the food delicious but their serving dishes were beautiful and their staff looked awesome. I would absolutely recommend Contigo Catering for any event small or large!
