"This Rosslyn beer garden operates in partnership with Continental Modern Pool Lounge, an area institution. All draft beer at this outdoor space, open Tuesday through Saturday, can be ordered by the pitcher, and its daily happy hour (4 p.n. to 7 p.m.) takes $2 off glasses of wine and pints (or cans) of beer." - Kalina Newman

Pet friendly atmosphere. My fur legged baby enjoyed the outing and all the friendly passerbyers that stopped to greet her. The turkey burger was actually a “grilled burger” the sauce was pretty good as well. Definitely a nice meet and greet place. The Brandy Palmer and pineapple cider were both refreshing drinks. Will plan to have another outing there again in the near future.

We had a fun time playing bachi ball and hanging out on the patio. They have a lot out outdoor seating but there are no umbrellas and only a couple tables inside so don't come if it's raining. There's a pretty good selection of beer and a few slushi style drinks too. The service is great but keep in mind they automatically add 20% to your tab.

This is a cool vibe place. Outstanding tunes blaring on the speakers, during cold winter months plenty of propane heaters to try to keep us warm. Top notch beer selection and a lot of tasty hors d'oeuvres and appetizers. Go for the pretzels It's spicy mustard or artichoke dip with the toasted bread. This urban courtyard allows one to escape from their confinement, let the dog breathe and enjoy a little open air.

Great bocce courts, good food and a nice selection of drinks. Tons of seating outside and really friendly folks working there. I’ve only been for the Thursday night bocce league, but the ambiance is perfect to destress and have some fun.

Very crowded when we got there, but we still managed to get our food and drinks pretty quickly. Food ranged from good to great (those pretzels are amazing! - honestly those would get 5 stars alone). Beer selection was good, and service was friendly, though they seemed rushed because of how packed they were.

Great selection of beers and the food is good quality too. I just can’t justify a mandatory 22% gratuity for counter service. It is not justifiable for the same level of service as a fast food restaurant. Please just raise the prices and pay staff better. One pint of beer and a sausage sandwich was over $27 after mandatory tax and tip.

Went with a group of about 8, there were maybe 20 people there sitting outside total as it was very hot. From the start the woman behind the counter was very unfriendly and curt. We chose to sit inside at the few tables because it was really hot, and basically everyone else there left so it was just us. Then a huge storm started (with a severe thunderstorm warning in place) which caused damage to the outside tables and overhangs. Since we were already inside we stayed there to wait the storm out, and continued to buy drinks. Some water was leaking in through the door, but otherwise there didn’t seem to be any damage to the indoor area where we were sitting. We were about 8 patrons just sitting around drinking and talking, I don’t think we were being loud or rude. Then abruptly the woman told us that we had to leave within 5 minutes because they were closing due to the unsafe weather causing damage to the property outside. She said their pool Hall around the corner was open and we could go there if we wanted. We clarified that she recognized the severe weather and still expected us to leave and go outside in the dangerous weather. She said one of our friends (already en route when the storm started) arrived during the storm and “she was safe so you will be too”. Truly a bizarre experience. Kicking patrons out during a severe weather warning seems wildly inappropriate and a much higher liability than us sitting there and waiting 15 more minutes for the worst of the storm to clear. 0/10 would not recommend to others

It's great to have a solid watering hole in the concrete, business district of the DMV. Excellent local beer selection. Good food at reasonable prices. An oasis with a mural and bocce ball just steps from the metro.
