If you're looking for a fantastic bar experience in DC, this spot definitely delivers. The atmosphere is lively, yet relaxed, with a crowd mostly in their 30s and 40s, creating a mature and enjoyable vibe. The "bar food" here is above average—offering more than the usual fare you'd expect, making it a great choice for both casual bites and a full meal. Pricing is refreshingly competitive for the DC area, adding to the overall appeal. Plus, with seven pool tables available, there's no shortage of entertainment. Whether you're out with friends or just unwinding after a long day, this bar is a top choice. O, and FREE parking on the rooftop after 5pm.

There are like 6 pool tables in this "pool hall" and every night is league night. My friends and I were there for a long time on Tuesday night and never got a chance to play. We didn't come for the food and I did not eat, but as the wait for a pool table dragged on my friends ordered the pulled pork sandwich and half smoke and both looked pretty good, therefore the 3 stars.

7/3 1:15pm the older lady behind the bar, she’s brunette with a hoop nose ring had such an attitude that it almost made me hesitate to go up there and request another drink. Upon coming in I could tell she was already pissed off about doing her job and almost dragging herself to the counter. My boyfriend and I spotted the minute we opened our tab. We get our second round of drinks and as she sees him approaching she gets up again like she’s dragging herself “what a burden” it seems like with such an upsetting face. Totally killed our mood because we hadn’t been here in so long and looked forward to it. Left around 2pm spending about $66 to just be there for a short amount of time and leave because of this. Mind you, it was dead… there was only us 2 and one other person playing pool so not sure where this attitude was from. Would much rather have saved that $66.

Just went to a Yale function there. The place is retro fun. The food is surprisingly good. Order the smash burger and the sweet potato fries. The lava cake is delicious. Parking is a bit challenging.

Google
We had a great time and great service. The food is what you'd expect from a bar pool hall - great with a few beers. Prices are good and they have a good selection of drafts and imports. There are six pool tables, a ping pong table, a shuffleboard table, and a few arcade games so there's something to do for everyone. We will definitely be coming back another time.

Google
On busy nights it takes a little longer but they get you to a game table as quickly as possible. The food was okay, the drinks are pretty good/strong AND we have gotten our fav jungle table both visits and I love the atmosphere there. It's fun as hell! My fav spot to let loose and leave your worries at the door. Staff is always friendly.

Google
I thought I would like this place with the charming cool atmosphere but was immediately met with an extremely rude security guard that was no where near the door then grabbed my partners arm to turn them around and ID them when we were approaching the bar. Physical contact wouldn’t be my first approach in handling this situation. A excuse me would have been nice first. Maybe if he wasn’t on his cell phone not paying attention to the door we wouldn't have this encounter. I will definitely not be back and I recommend you don’t come here either. There are many other pool bars and arcades in the area that do not have this issue.

Was a nice place to spend some time with colleagues, but don't expect good food there.

Yelp
Stopped by here after work with some of my colleagues. Continental was fine. Easy walk from the office. Very spacious so we had room to sit down. The bathrooms were very clean. A good spot to quickly pop in and grab a drink. The bartender seemed annoyed when we ordered with her but we still got the food and drinks we ordered so that's all that matters. I got an order of the chicken tenders and fries. The fries could have been slightly crispier. The chicken tenders were really thin. I typically like them thicker and meatier for the breading to chicken ratio, but it was fine and I still ate it all. I didn't love the dipping sauces. The honey mustard was too tangy and didn't balance with the sweet.

Yelp
The food was great. The atmosphere is nice. Lots of space. The parking garage is feet from the entrance.

Yelp
A nice pool hall with plenty of space! I stopped in one a Sunday evening and there were just a few people there, so not what you would typically expect but it was what we were looking for. There was security when you first walk in, and then you can stop by the bar to order and food/drinks and get set up to play. The bartender got us everything quickly and we were ready to go! Again we enjoyed ourselves and appreciated the chill Sunday evening vibes with great music.

Yelp
First off, the crazy disco sparkles 60s. The service is super efficient and fast. The food, at lesst the chili, is #1. Tasty, hot and better than most local restaurants.

Yelp
I have gone to the beer garden next door but inside is a solid place for fun and games. They have good hours on happy hour (those prices are for games and drinks). You go up to the bartender to ask for some pool balls and they charge you to the minute. The tables and cue sticks were ok to use. The atmosphere was chill and a good time. I would definitely come back since even if you are not planning on playing pool, they have other games, and just the fact that they have a good happy hour should be enough cause to check it out.

Yelp
This place had absolutely bad service!!! Bartender/waiters were very rude, disrespectful, and racist!

Janifer O.

Yelp
This is the worst spot in Rosslyn! we planned a gathering at continental as our class "social hour". This particular class was for international students (all adults over 30 who looked their age). I made that known to the waiter when we walked in. At first, there were no issues, however; later as students with different features walked in and tried to order a drink, they requested a passport. There were over 25 people who were staying at different hotels and had no previous knowledge that a passport was needed to order drinks (even non-alcoholic drinks). The bartender/waiter was extremely rude with everyone who did not have Caucasian features, and refused to serve them! We had a Swedish student who ordered a drink without the bartender asking for any identification, but all African students and Latin American students were turned away.

Yelp
Great place to have events and large happy hours. The bartenders are awesome and very attentive despite when there's large crowds. Also their bar food was really good (YUM @the wings!!!!) . They were super efficient with keeping us, the guests, fed. Of course there are other individual tables for folks to enjoy some time here. I'd recommend this as a casual happy hour place in Rosslyn!
google avatar

Yelp
The dark hatred, bartender who usually wears a cap SUCKS. She is rude and inept at bartending and she's been there for years now..I used to bartend for a hell of a lot more people and managed to keep it together. You know she's terrible and costing you tips and business DO SOMETHING.

Yelp
We had my wife's holiday party here and honestly, it was a fantastic experience. The entire place was booked for ~ 80 people and they brought out some fantastic food such as burgers, wings, chicken tenders, mac and cheese, pulled pork, chips, salsa, guacamole, and desserts including chocolate cake, cheese cake etc. They also brought the food in batches to the buffet so it was consistently fresh. Having the entire place reserved was great because they let us play all the games for free for the entire 4 hours, since we booked the entire venue. Playing pop-a-shot, skeeball, ping pong, pool the entire night was blast playing against your friends. Also, the bartender and all the staff were super friendly and they let us build a Spotify playlist and play that on their sounds system all night. Highly recommend this place for corporate events and the food was phenomenal.

Yelp
I was in the area, looking for a place to take my kids out to eat, and we came across the beer garden. I have to say, this was a fantastic experience! Everyone was following the guidelines, the place was clean, the food was delicious, hot and fresh! We had a great experience! My kids and I loved looking at the wall art, as it was so creative and vibrant. I had to snap a couple pictures! We haven't been out in awhile, as these are difficult and uncertain times, but, this establishment exceeded my expectations! We left feeling like we found a gem! I highly recommend visiting!

Yelp
Really poor food. Entire area was taken over by pool tournament players. Don't want to go back

Yelp
Hosted Private Event at Beer Garden- I reached out to Continental about hosting my partner's birthday party at their beer garden- to say that they were accommodating would be a gross understatement! I really don't think I could've have found a better location with such quality staff and wonderful prices! They were extremely responsive in answering all of my questions and requests leading up to the party; nothing went unanswered, they sent me a straight forward contract to sign shortly after we agreed on the time and date, and they made the process virtually stress-free! One of the employees (Nelson) set up a specific private area just for our party (which was perfect for our party size and needs) in advance of our arrival, and he immediately explained all the details/expectations to me clearly once I arrived. Our party's designated area had large outdoor heaters (which were exactly what we needed for the low-50's weather after sunset) and the backdrop of a gorgeous graffitied wall. There were loads of compliments from the other attendees as well about the food, drinks, and ambiance. The employees behind the bar (Travis, Katie, and China (sp?) - my phone may have autocorrected her name when I typed entered wrote down her name that evening... If so, please forgive me!) were quick to make drinks and bring out food; waits at the bar were either non-existent or no more than a couple minutes at most. The bar staff were all extremely friendly, and they offered some wonderful cocktail suggestions, too. Nelson checked in with me on multiple occasions throughout the evening to ensure everything was running smoothly, and he made the "wrap up" part of the event very quick and easy! Continental really couldn't have provided a better place for us to hold this get-together. I will definitely be back to catch a happy hour soon, and will most certainly host another private event here! Beyond thankful to the staff at Continental for all their efforts! Thank you guys!

Yelp
We stopped by here tonight as I'm learning how to play pool. They don't open until 5 pm on the weekend. We arrived around six, just in time for happy hour specials to begin. There was only one other person playing pool. They have four pool tables and each has its own table for food and drinks. The food was typical bar food. I'm a weird person who doesn't like French fries. But I will say, theirs were really good. By the time we left, it was starting to get busy. Groups of younger people were coming in. A huge plus for me -- it's smoke-free! Oh, and it's a very easy walk from the metro. We enjoyed our time there and will be back!

Yelp
Good place for pool table and table tennis rental. Wish they had that shuffleboard game but maybe some day. Nice beer selection.

Yelp
Visited 5/21/2022. Great atmosphere, lots to do. But the service at the bar was 50/50. The male bartender was very polite and courteous, the female bartender was extremely rude and while I thought I possibly did something I overheard 2 other patrons commenting at the bar about how rude she was. Again. The entire experience and the male bartender was great aside from the rude one.

Yelp
I ordered a burger to go with no onions and a side of chips. I received a burger WITH onions and they forgot my chips. I was the only customer so I'm not sure how they messed up twice.

Noah V.

Yelp
Favorite place. The prices are very good both during and outside happy hour. Staff are great. They are polite and have good memory. I recommend the chicken tenders basket. Its a generous serving at a good price.

Yelp
This place rules. One of the few places to play pool in Arlington, and unquestionable the best option. Really nice tables and usually doesn't get too crowded. They have a classic bar food menu that gets the job done. The pool tables are first come, first serve with no time limits, so if you want to play during the a busy time make sure to call first. They have other games too, but I've only played pool.
google avatar

Alice J.

Yelp
What a neighborhood gem! They have pool tables, video games (golf, anyone?), old-school arcade games, basketball games, and other table games I didn't even know the names, plus ping pong, dart, and so on. Definitely a very cool bar + fun space! Very colorful decor, super comfy sofas and various nooks and areas for groups. They do check ID's though. Strict.

Yelp
More like a 3.5. This place is expansive, has a fun retro vibe, and has good things to do (like pool and shuffleboard) for an evening in Rosslyn. The drink specials during happy hour are nice, but don't come here for unique cocktails / local breweries or good food. Pretty mediocre on that front -- just come here for the vibe and location. But if you still want to ask about the food... - Fried mac and cheese - weirdly dry and not very flavorful. Seems like some microwaved frozen thing you get from a discount grocery store. - Cuban wrap with pasta salad - average oily pasta salad. The wrap was ok and filling but mainly tasted like mustard. - Chicken tenders - mediocre frozen fare. My not too picky boyfriend still didn't like it. - BBQ chicken wrap - apparently it was so spicy my friend couldn't finish it. So yeahhhh if it was just the food, it'd be a 2 stars. But that's not what this place is for!! Eat first and then enjoy a night of gaming and drinking here!

Yelp
Full disclosure, it took me a few months/years after I started working in the area to realize it had nothing to do with a swimming pool. I love the atmosphere on Wednesdays. My co-workers and I embark on Continental's at precisely 11:30 for the half priced burgers. They're delicious and they have them to you within a couple of minutes (seriously, it's sometimes faster than McDonald's). We go for the food, the ambience, the camaraderie. Every time we leave with our bellies full, and smiles on our faces. Love it there.
google avatar

Jason C.

Yelp
Underrated HH spot. I can get drinks for $3 until 8pm. You cannot beat this anywhere else. The food is fine. It's what's expected. They also have good weekly food deals throughout the week All in all, if you want a good dive bar that is extremely affordable after work, this is your place. It's hard to find places like this in Arlington.
google avatar

Yelp
Continental Modern Pool & Lounge is a great bar with happy hour and late happy hour specials. The wings and burgers are excellent. Continental has pool, darts, sports and specials, what more could you ask for?
google avatar

LeeAnn S.

Yelp
I used to like this place. It used to be fun. I guess they got word that it would eventually be shut down as the facelift to Rosslyn continues. Went on a Friday night. It happened to be industry night and SUPER busy. There was ONE server in the entire establishment. AND she was a bartender. Soooo we sat at the bar. The manager came out several times to tell her to get it together and pay attention to the entire full restaurant and bar. Horrible. We got drink refills as she could get to us but our food sucked. Everything that should have been hot was room temp. Even the fries. The coleslaw was awful (also room temp so I stopped eating it) and underdressed. I stopped by one last time for dinner and almost the same was going on. Sad because when I worked in Rosslyn many of us enjoyed lunches here.

Yelp
3.5 Stars You ever walk into a bar or pub and people yell out your name in greeting? You know, your name is Norman, but when you walk through the door they yell, "Norm!" Has that ever happened to you? Me neither. But, I can almost see that happening at the Continental. The Continental is an upscale bar/pool hall. There are plenty of tables, booths, and (of course) barstools. Small and groups of decent size can be accommodated. The open floor plan is complemented by a nook in back next to the second bar. Not to be out done by anyone, the bathrooms are CLEAN. Most of us can really really really appreciate a bar with clean bathrooms. Lastly, the staff. I've stopped by the Continental of and on for seven years. The staff is always polite, professional, and a continuous source of good service despite having to deal with the public in all its glory. Want to relax? Grab a drink? Sit down and chill with friends? Try the Continental. You're welcome.

Yelp
I came here the other night and really enjoyed myself. It is gritty and old school, but that is the charm in it that I liked. For someone who enjoys the occasional dive bar or upscale bar, this is probably more of divey/average bar far from upscale. You will find what I would consider upscale types tocome here though. It is a local feeling bar with a professional crowd as its clientele. They have specials every night of the week. I enjoyed their half priced salad and half off wine special for ladies' night. They offer billiards, skee ball, and darts. The place is pretty vast in size, and I certainly wasn't expecting that before arriving. Service was nice, but a bit slow in getting our orders to us. We waited a good half of the meal for him to bring a glass of wine we requested at the beginning. I didn't care all that much since the food came out fairly quickly and I needed something for my stomach before drinking anyway. I would definitely return. I enjoyed myself.

Yelp
Great date night spot or spot for a friends night out Great food and crafty beers Plenty of games to play

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place while on a short getaway. Friendly bartenders, good beer selection and a really cool retro vibe. They have shuffle board, pool, darts and even ping pong. There's a jukebox with internet access so you can play just about any song you can think of. We only tried the the bar food, but it was very tasty. Had wings, tenders and fried pickles. Happy hour prices were very reasonable. They also have a beer garden up the block.
google avatar

Jazzmine K.

Yelp
Cool spot, I just wish they had more tables but I'll still be back! :) drinks were great and I always love sweet potato fries, but theirs were bomb.
google avatar

Katherine R.

Yelp
3.5 - vibe/scene. Definitely a cool place to shoot pool, and grab a few beers, and a lot nicer than say Buffalo Billiards in DC. If you are looking for a chill spot to grab a few beers and shoot some pool, this is the place for you! It's not overly packed like some of the other bars can get, so that's a huge plus!!! When I went, none of the pool tables were available, so we just ate food, and I definitely do NOT recommend this place for food. On a food front, I'd give this place 2 stars. But it's a pool hall, and most people do not go to pool halls for food quality.
google avatar

Jonathan E.

Yelp
Definitely has a dive bar feel, but we definitely had a lot of fun. There were definitely some low-budget moves: No air conditioning, out of a bunch of different beers, and generally sleepy music. However, shuffleboard and darts were on point. Can be a really fun time depending on the group you're with.
google avatar

Anna H.

Yelp
The pool lounge is a fun little bar in Rosslyn. It's pretty divey but has a lot of character with crazy glitter counter tops, dim lighting, awkward 90's music, and games that not only include pool but also darts, ping pong, shuffleboard... On the weekend, it gets pretty packed, but it tends to be pretty empty on the weekdays. It's easy to get to, as it's right outside of the metro station and close to the key bridge, so it makes for a pretty convenient place to meet up. I haven't tried the food, but I saw people eating pretty late. The times I have been here, there has been a pretty homogenous crowd, but I guess that reflects the Rosslyn neighborhood where the bar is located. It's a good place for a date or to come with a group of friends. ... The games are on point!
google avatar

Ed G.

Yelp
Meetup recently had a meetup for this restaraunt and had the green room in the back. The staff was very courteous with a good selection of beers and wines to choose from. Their was a pretty good selection of food to choose from including the always favorite mac and cheese bites. Note: It's a bit tricky getting to this place if you're driving, the parking garage immediately next door is very cramped with pillars and charges $6 for first hour,$9 for 2 hours, and $12 for the night. Note: Arrive after 6 and good luck finding street parking because then it's free.
google avatar

Thomas K.

Yelp
We came here because it was close to our hotel. The staff is super nice. The beer and liquor selections are decent. The food is below average for what I think they are trying to do in the area. I get the sports theme and love it, but the food needs to be better. It might even help with a late night crowd during college basketball (which I don't even watch)
google avatar

Perrin S.

Yelp
I like this place. The food is about average, but it's a reasonable, local watering-hole for a happy hour after work in Rosslyn. The two stars is directed toward some of the staff. The bartenders are generally genial, about 85/15% ratio of decent-to-poor. And that's pretty good! That said, and to justify the 2-stars, there are a couple of duds that rank somewhat low for disposition and attentiveness. One employee comes to mind, in particular, but she's just trying to earn a living, so no need to name names. But before Continental opens its forthcoming, much-anticipated beer garden, management should take a hard look at its personnel simultaneously with its clientele, and determine who it wants at its establishment. I won't be spending my ~$100/visit here, personally. I even tipped less than my standard 25%. Finally, they appear to be unfriendly to the LGBT community, based off of my two dozen-or-so experiences. It's odd, because there are often a fair number of LGBT folks who work in the service industry (and even here, I suspect) but there it is. Again, it may have been that one bartender who left a bad taste in my mouth, so who knows? Do give them a chance, though, as the positive generally outweighs the negative. But I'm leaning toward the negative because, after a single visit, I was turned-off. I won't be back, and I will no longer recommend the place to my company for its various social functions, despite having held them here, in the past. The last time I did, I brought ~200 people with me. There will be no next time.
google avatar

Yelp
Continental Modern Pool Lounge is a hidden gem in Rosslyn, VA. I've been twice for an office holiday party and it was a great time! They have games such as ping pong, basketball, Jenga, Connect 4 and more. They also have REALLY good food -- the wings are too die for, the fried pickles are great and the quesadillas. Around the holidays this lounge books up fast so I would recommend making a reservation. Luckily, I was able to reserve a space for my office and we just ordered food & drinks from the bar -- but you can also make a reservation for space and catering which will cost you. All and all, I've a great time at this place, until next time.

Yelp
When Mr. Spacely is having a particularly bad day at the Sprocket company, this is where George Jetson goes to blow off some steam. It's a laid back and relaxed bar where you can grab a beer, hang out with friends, and challenge them to a rousing game of ping pong or shuffle board. Also, their cheese fries are legit. Like....my group ordered four plates of them during our stay here and they came in very big and sharable portions. I highly recommend coming here if you: #1) are from the future, #2) tired of spending your Saturday night with your elbows out waiting in line for a drink at the bar #3) looking for an easy going space to host a group birthday party

Yelp
I wish I had a place like this out by me. I think Continental is a nice default on any given night when there isn't much else going on. Kind of puts you in the mind of an adult rec center, but with a full bar. They had all the things I liked pool, ski ball, basketball hoop machines....and a really good DJ that was not afraid to play real Hip Hop. DJ Paul did just enough on the Mac to make the setting more lively without taking away from the atmospere. Before the night was out, upon request he even delivered my coveted Throw it In The Bag remix. The patrons are fairly clean cut young people who come out to have a little innocent fun with friends. I really appreciated this place for being a cool billiards spot for the 20 to 30 somethings professional types. The scene was right there in the middle interms of being laid back, casual, comfortable, and suited up a little nicer than your typical Bar & Billiards. And the on top of that, the Long Island was'nt half bad either. Metro Stops: Orange and Blue lines to Rosslyn

Yelp
This is our Rosslyn dive bar. $4 rail drinks during HH. Heavy pours and good service. We have always gotten seats at the bar.

Yelp
I went to Continental Pool Lounge to join some friends for happy hour on a Thursday night. It was my first time going there so finding the place was a little tricky. Although it was a short walk from the Rosslyn Metro station with a listed address on Fort Myer Dr., the actual entrance to place was on the backside of the building on N. Moore St. Upon entering the bar, my initial impression was that the place was your typical sports bar with pool tables! The brightly colored bar/pool hall was large, loud, and packed to the gills with happy hour revelers, mostly in their 20s and 30s, taking advantage of the $3 draft beer specials. They had Starr Hill Northern Lights IPA on special, so I was a happy man. There were multiple pool tables, shuffleboard tables, and other games scattered around the large open room, but the mass of people crowded out the space around the tables making it impossible for those wanting to play a game. No worries for me since I wasn't there to shoot stick. There were a few servers moving about the room taking food and drink orders, but the large crowd and the insufficient number of servers made it an inefficient process. As a result, it was much quicker and easier to go to the main bar for drinks. If the size of the happy hour crowd was a true indicator, then Continental Pool Lounge obviously is doing something right. While it doesn't offer anything particularly new or different with regards to bars of its type, the beer was cold, the price was right...I couldn't ask for much more.

Yelp
I came here for the first time last week for a friend's birthday (See Elain X.'s review for the same birthday party!) and I thought it was a really low key, fun place to hang out without obnoxiously loud music where you have to yell over to have a conversation. I didn't get to try any of the food (boo!) but they had a good amount of beers on tap and a great selection of liquor. They also have shuffle board, ping pong, pool tables, in addition to tons of table and bar space to sit at. The parking situation is kind of weird because the garage is supposedly upstairs, but we managed to find street parking so we didn't have to worry about it. If you're looking for a casual, relaxed, fun atmosphere, Continental is the place to go.

Yelp
Good after work stomping grounds for happy hour. I would not eat here for a sit down dinner, but they do a great job with appetizers and good drinks. The first time I went here, it was at their outdoor seating area. They don't do a great job publicizing the indoor space. The indoor space is pretty big and is good for large groups. They have two bar areas but you would need to call ahead and they can accommodate opening the second bar if the party is large enough. The wait staff was very attentive and I thought our server Wes did a great job when a party of 12 waltzed in looking for drinks. Once the outdoor beer garden opens up I will frequent much more.

Yelp
I was hanging out with some friends in Arlington a few Fridays ago and came here and had a great time. I hogged the jukebox (by accident - I was a li'l tipsy and put in a 20 not realizing just how many songs I'd be getting to pick for that amount) and had the place bumping with mostly classic hiphop joints for probably a couple hours. lulz. great music selection on that thing! the service from the bar gets a mixed review and is what brings down my rating. our initial bartender was so lacking I started to take it personally. lulz. like dannnngggg, why don't you like us? =( the other bartender that ended up filling in for her lackingness was great though. if we had her all night I'd add another star. we played pool for a while, also great, and drank and had multiple orders of fries. who knew fries could be so good? they had other games as well like table tennis and air hockey and shuffleboard on a table? anyway, we stuck to pool because I was afraid of what might happen if was equipped with a paddle and a ball.

Yelp
Continental is my local watering hole. There is a lack of bars in the Rosslyn area, but Continental rarely disappoints. The space is very large, with an outdated feel (I believe it's intentional), and feels like a 70s dive bar. However, the Happy Hour is excellent with an array of food specials, $4 rails and $3 beers (even on the weekend 6pm-9pm). Also, Happy Hour during the week goes to 8pm. The food is surprisingly good (try the fried pickles), and the music on the juke box is usually on point.

Yelp
Super convenient location near the rosslyn metro. went there for a major soccer match, ie the world cup. i wish they would upgrade some of the 32 inch tvs. bigger tvs are cheap now. otherwise it was great. will go back again soon.

Yelp
Their lunchtime sandwich specials and Cuban sandwiches are pretty good. basically a sports bar with a modestly well stocked bar, plenty of draft beer options - and billiards. With a well lit location next to the nearby Marriott and Holiday Inn, this is a good place for an after dinner drink - or to catch a soccer game on one of their 3+ 52 inch screen TV's. If the World Cup is being played, you can expect to see people from the nearby offices taking a bit of time off to watch the game and have an extended lunch hour. Oh, make sure the waiters have your order correct - many are college students from the nearby Georgetown University - and at finals time, they seem preoccupied with other things. Try their fries - they are pretty good too.

Yelp
I'm a local and have been coming here with friends and/or family since 2008... this place is always great. Their happy hour prices are some of the best in the area, I've always had great service, they have an awesome beer selection, their pool tables are decently priced, they have plenty of TVs so you won't miss any game, and there are tons of other activities (billiards, shuffleboard, ski-ball, basketball arcade games, Wii, table-tennis, etc). If you get bored here, you're hopeless! Their fried food (pickles) has disappointed at times, but that's a minor issue compared to all the other great things about this place. I hope they stay open for many years to come! UPDATE (Beer Garden): over three months after writing my original review, I need to add that the Continental opened up a BEER GARDEN right next door to it's current location. This is just what the neighborhood needed! I've been to the beer garden 3x in the past month and it's fun. Warning, the beers served in the beer garden are more of a craft variety and are a smidgen more expensive than the proper Continental, but then again, the proper Continental's prices are so hard to beat (esp during their happy hour) that residents inside the beltway should not mind. The ambiance makes up for it too... I mean, where else are you going to play bocce and hang out on picnic tables with your favorite co-workers and/or best friends? Again, I hope the Continental (and their new beer garden) stays open for many years to come!
