Continental Seafood

I took a few of my church members up there with me who were volunteering with our food pantry to get them something to eat. Because we had a long days of work when we got our food, we did not eat anything while we was there because we had to go work. So we decided to eat it later. Contact the restaurant within the same day to tell them that we had our food and we noticed that it was hair in one plate and the two fried plates, they put too much seasoning, so the food was extremely salty. Then, when it came down to my food, I ask them for very mild because I cannot have any spice and they decide to give me medium. I asked a gentlemen, could I have something that was no spicy just garlic? He told me it's not that spicy, but it was. Very disappointed because they explained to me that if you did not try your food while you were there or call before 5 hours, then there is nothing that they can do even though we still had the food and the hair. It was only 4 pm we went at ll:35 am that day. I have decided to not return to this restaurant. That is not how you do your customers. They could've just offer a 10 to 20% off our next meal, which would have been more accommodating, but to find hair in the food that is not good.

The prices are too high for the seafood. Definitely overpriced. Especially when you're buying everything with food stamps and paying cash to have the food cooked. The fried fish was cooked too hard along with the fried lobster tail and okra. We spent too much money to make mistakes with the food temperature and appearance.

Horrible establishment! I place my order inside the restaurant (Fried salmon plate) The cashier accidentally gave my food to another customer. The customer proceeds to check her order and realize she has something that she did not order. She did bring it to their attention that she did not place this particular order she picks up my fried salmon with her hands flips it up and says I did not order this. I noticed what the meal was consist of and knew it was my order. The cashier attempted to give me the order as if he did not see that lady touch All on that salmon!! Instead of him, offering to remake my order, he tells me the kitchen is closing and refunding me my money. The customer service is trash! And the audacity to think that he can still attempt to give me that meal that I paid for that he gave to somebody else after they done touch all on the food. He had lost his rabbit ass mind!

Walked into this place the lady at the register (Keisha) was very pleasant. She was able to explain the menu thoroughly. She had a very sweet spirit. It makes you want to come back just for her smile and welcoming words.. I can rate this place a 10/10 just because of the way I was welcomed. Oh and the food, GOODT!!!!! YALL BETTER GO SEE KEISHA..... 😊

Continental seafood is always hot and tastes very good. The service is OK. I always order my food and then pick it up it cuts down on the wait. The area is a little rough, and there's no place to sit and eat on the inside.

The food here is mediocre. I don’t know how they have so many reviews saying the food is great. If you’re use to Juicy Crab and the places alike you’re going to be DISAPPOINTED when you spend the money on this food. The best party of my seafood platter was the broccoli 😐 enough said. Don’t waste your time or money with this place. Trust me on this one!! The quality was so poor you could probably make better seafood at home. The only way I can see someone saying this place is good is if they’ve never had good seafood. I’m trying to warn you like I wish I would’ve been warned. DON’T DO IT.

I’ve only gave one star due to I had to choose. Scallops are old and red snapper fish looks old. I tried to get a refund and the Mexican guy told me don’t come back. I was told to wait for a hour to get my money back. Still had to pay a 1.50 for them to cook your food, don’t they suppose to cook it anyway!

Would give 0 stars if I could!!! There was hair in my food. Definitely not my hair as I have braids in. I was eating my food…. Went to pick up the broccoli with the fork and there’s a straight black piece of hair in the broccoli. The establishment refused to do anything about it. Literally had to dispute the charge with my bank. Will never patronize Continental Seafood again! 🤮🤮

I drove 30 minutes for the driest tasteless most raggedy burnt up frog legs I've ever had in my life. The tiny little shrimp were okay, well seasoned but just not giving in terms of size, but I was outdone about the burnt up frog legs. Never again. The ONLY reason they have customers is because everyone in their at the time was using EBT. That's the gag, that's it because it's not good. Also they don't speak English, it's giving "its a money grab in the hood". I should've known not to go there when the Asian man could barely take my order. But I went anyway and it was a total waste of time.

Rude customer service, ... The whole staff is horrible, they prepare food however they want, don't care if you have asked to separate side items...Nobody in that restaurant has any customer service skills at all....

Take out is a joke. Multiple times over the years we have supported Continental. They aren't the cheapest but they are very flavorful. The rest of the stars are left out for the poor review of orders and poor response when brought to the attention of the establishment. Recently, my husband ordered me crab legs, shrimp, broccoli, Turkey neck and eggs. Usually very delicious when filled properly. My shrimp were missing that my husband paid for and I called to ask where the shrimp were. The guy who answered initially admitted they left out the shrimp and if I drove 15-20 mins back to the establishment they could give me the shrimp. I asked since I had to drive all the way back if he would refund and fill the order since it was their mistake and I am literally wasting gas because they "can't do refunds over the phone." He said no and put an older man on with a heavier accent. I describe the situation and he basically said he needed to "see." He told me he could not fix it over the phone. He argued with me and told me it was my "responsibility to check the food before leaving." I told him he should PRESENT the orders before tightly bagging and sealing if that was encouraged. I told him I would write this review. He hung up the phone. I drove at 9 months pregnant back to this establishment . Hopped out the car. Brought the items back. He asked if I had a receipt. I told him we just got off the phone. He magically found my ticket without a receipt. He was unsuccessful at refunding my husband's car 2x (which was sus). He finally gave cash. At the end I suppose he took pity and offered me drinks and shrimp. At that point I was DONE. I wish he had, had that same energy over the phone.

Since I moved to the west side of Atlanta a friend told me of this spot and I had to give it a try for myself and it is pretty darn good. I love how you can buy the fish fresh or they can cook it for you right there within a few minutes it's ready and seasoned very well not too salty and always taste very fresh. I've always loved fried fish but I started trying out steamed fish and vegetable from this place and it's very good I don't even miss the fried fish. Recently I got the crab legs and it was really good I wasn't a fan of the sausage so I probably won't get that again but it was flavorful and tasty. The broccoli at this place is amazing.

I'm from Mississippi and I've been searching for a place that fries up catfish the way I truly enjoy it. I'm so glad to have found Continental Seafood. They are a seafood counter so they offer raw fish and seafood by the pound. If you pay an extra $1.50, they'll either steam or fry up your seafood for you. Omg it was sooooo freaking good. I got the 3 pc fish and one side deal for 8.99 and it was a generous portion. I opted for the steamed broccoli as my side and Im so happy they did. I also got an order of turkey necks because I've been craving them. I don't know how they season all of their food so well but the broccoli and necks were tender and delicious. The catfish was perfectly fried and my coworker said that he liked it better than the tilapia he got. It's a bit more pricy but the quality is worth it. I know where to get my fried fish kick. Oh! And the fried shrimp is good too!!

Love it always on point it's the shrimp for me and the butter is a must with the butter the plate has no life I put butter on my veggies too and it's worth the money

Shorter version: if you don't believe me that these people have terrible service and are racists just read the other reviews. Most of The good reviews are from over a year ago. Clearly something happened. Short version: you can get better seafood at Austell Seafood Market in Austell and South New Orleans Seafood on the East side. There are plenty of other spots you can hit around the Westside. Just don't come here. Don't expect them to answer when you call, don't expect good service and there's gonna be a line more than likely. Long version: G.H.E.T.T.O. I've tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but after the service I received (or lack of it) I've reached my breaking point. This place is decent. I've been coming here for over two years and it's by far not the best seafood spot but if you want something convenient on the Westside it'll work. These people are rude as hell and don't give AF if you have a complaint. I've dealt with the bad service, the crowds, them messing my order up and all that. But last night these a$$ clowns left me on hold for 45 mins. FORTY FIVE FREAKIN MINUTES! And I stayed on hold on purpose just to prove a point. I sat there and listened to them take other orders on the phone and when I reached my breaking point I hung up. After a few more calls back and the line being busy I was finally able to get through to someone and I went TF off. How dare you leave someone on the line like that. And they didn't give AF!! Manager hung up on me and I called back and cussed him out again. I'm not normally a rude person but after dealing with this place for this long I've reached my breaking point. I'm never ordering from them again if I can help it. Frfr I feel like these people take advantage of the fact that they're in a black low income area and feel like they can treat people like crap. If you want your crawfish with a side of racism feel free to eat here.

Incredibly surprised at the quality and taste of the food. Initially, I thought I got duped when I literally saw 2 King Crab legs in the box and not a cluster, but went back and confirmed, and it was advertised that way. I will definitely return.

Hit or miss! They don't season the food that good so use the seasons they have on the side for you. They accept EBT too so huge plus!!!! If you're not from the hood, I don't recommend! Just my opinion

I have to tell you I was really surprised about this place, primarily because of where it is located. I was recommended by a friend, because we were going to another restaurant close by, but found out once we got there that they only take cash...oh well, there loss. This place was right down the road, you have to be quick to turn in though; the road is always busy. When we walked in we got slapped with the smell of fish, but it is a seafood place in a very small location so I cannot say I was surprised. They only have one portable menu; it looked like they were more about selling bulk items that meals, but no worries there, whatever gets the bills paid. There was one table to eat at, total of about 8 chairs in the place, bars on the window including the bathroom, key to the bathroom....check and attached to a spoon, and the owners barely, if at all spoke english, but I do not fault them for that because they understood exactly what we wanted and were very friendly in taking our order and not rushing us even though people were coming in behind us as the three of us stood there picking our heads trying to figure out what we wanted. The food was really fresh, I forgot to take a picture of mine, but I got the sweet and sour wings and shrimp meal. For $17, 10 wings, 15 fried shrimp, onion rings, and a drink, your boy was good to go! They did not have any fish out at the time that I came, but I would like to come back and check it out. One of my friends have the shrimp and vegetables and the other one had a kind of boil with shrimp and sausage which she ate up so I think it was good! They did not have a very expansive menu by any means, but the price and the food were excellent and for that I give them a 5 stars!

I always get the jumbo shrimp I recently tried the neck bones and they was good also the noodles with corn broccoli and potatoes are good also

More value and consistently good crab, shrimp and seafood than any other place anywhere along 285 west corridor in Atlanta or Cobb County...from Cobb Parkway to Camp Creek. That includes Juicy Crab...yep, better quality and value than Juicy Crab. They clearly mark the price/lb. of each seafood item. You can actually pick out your crab legs, shrimp etc. They weigh it then cook it. Quickly(10-15min) and perfectly on all my visits. I've also bought a variety of fish there which I later cooked at home. Salmon, for example, was delicious. Let me explain what I mean by quality. Other places tend to overcook snow crab legs...to the point where the meat evaporates or is rubbery. This has never happened during my visits here. The only drawback(or maybe your preference) is they don't drown the meat in the spicy garlic fake butter sauce which is the trend nowadays. If they did, I suspect more folks would be aware of this hidden gem. The side of butter sauce and hot sauce they offer is enough for me. And pretty tasty as well. My one tip is to put together your own boil for your order, not the one they offer on the menu. Not a big fan of potatoes and broccoli in boils, and the shrimp is shell off and smaller than shell-on. Try their shell-on shrimp. It is great, and they'll cook that too. They offer boiled eggs, corn on the cob, sausage and potatoes all as separate, reasonably priced options you can add to your custom boil.

This most definitely is a great spot to eat. The people her are very friendly and it feels mostly like family to me on every trip.

I pass this place almost everyday and I really never tried although I have been wanting. So one day I decided to make Seafood lasagna and I needed some salmon and lobster tail so I decided to stop here. You can buy your seafood items raw and they will cook it for you if you like for a small fee in which they have some of everything in the sea to frog legs. Anyhow, I decided to get the salmon and the lobster tail steamed to save me some time! However, it was smelling so good, I had to pinch it a lil bit! Why did I do that! I was pinching so much I almost didn't have enough for my recipe. It was so good and seasoned very well! The lobster tail was thick and juicy and all buttered up as well as the salmon. Prices are good and they have daily specials also. Of course shortly afterwards, a few days later, I tried them again and got the Special #1 which is the catfish, 15 shrimp, and fries (seasoned)! It was excellent and aren't stingy with the food or sauces! Lol it was dinner then lunch the next day! It's just as good as if not better than the chain seafood spots which I hardly eat. It doesn't look like much on the outside or inside but the rating in the food and the customer service. The lady was very nice and polite. They have a parking lot so there shouldn't be an issue with parking.

DO NOT EAT HERE. They are crooks. They are scamming people out there money!!!!! I order a whole 30 piece shrimp and didn't receive it. I call up there and told the man. Could you believe he blamed me! Then hung up the phone! LIKE, what sir I'm missing THIRTY SHRIMP. That's y'all fault! The bag was given to my boyfriend tied up. He thought he checked the food while I went inside to get our MISSING DRINKS. I honestly shouldn't have trust my boyfriend to check but this is still unacceptable. I will never come here again. Plus everytime I come someone's complaining about their order. FYI The last time was when someone said their grease is burnt!

My son and I went to Continental seafood today and I do not live in this area but I was referred to them a couple years ago by my daughter when we first start going I met the owner my husband and I met the owner very polite him and his wife the food is good they cook it well and it has a great taste but recently today I was in and we had placed an order we end up staying an hour and a half waiting on just two small plates why we were there there are a lot of African-American people coming into this restaurant they are owned by Asians as we were there we had we witnessed a lot of poor customer service people being cursed at yelled at screamed at talk to any kind of way because they were paying with EBT I myself paying with cash these people that were operating the restaurant have signs of no refunds no matter what the issue is. I know it's have changes ,But they want to talk to you like animals, The owner was not present, but the people that were running the place yelled and screamed they were getting orders wrong people were bringing food back addressing how they had not given them the food that they ordered how messed up it look they screaming yelled you don't want to get the hell out you don't have to be here this that the third so I kept asking okay I see people have come in way after us they they're leaving we've been here hour and a half where is our food always coming is coming is coming but he said the other guy said oh I'm sorry I don't know if they put it in we have watched 10 people leave come in before after us and leave before us so when I asked about my food he became outrageous the older man.He became irate start yelling and screaming I didn't tell you that your food was coming up in 10 minutes now my son and I are sitting here he put his hands in my son's face and yes my son has a temperament because a incident that happened to him, but still you don't put your hands in people face you don't cuss at them you don't disrespect them and you have their money and you're not trying to return it. You can leave if you want to.Why am I' going to leave when you have my money and you won't give me the product that I paid for. then some other woman was complaining and stating she has spent $100 in there last night and recived way more food than what she was receiving tonight last night she had broccoli ,shrimp crab legs, potatoes, fish ,wings and all. tonight she only had potatoes shrimp crab legs and spending $90 he started yelling and screaming at her you don't want the food give it here so she took the food over to the counter to season it cuz they didn't put in our seasoning he looking at her crazy bring the food back over here bring the food back over here like she's going to run off with the food when he handed her the plate for her two season she was across from him seasoning he act like she was going to stealing and run off but she paying him $90 for the food where she spent $100 the night before they're getting all this money from us but treating us like we animals like we don't have no right to respect regardless of what kind of money it is we still deserve respect.other people will spending 50 60 70 $80 in this restaurant but being talked to like animals and I had explained to them if we boycott this place and not gave them our money they wouldn't talk to you like this the man said shut the f****** mind your own damn business n****so when the man told me to shut the f****** mind my own business it's not happening to do with you I said it does because y'all haven't given my food yet and you're talking to one of us if we all got together and decide to boycott this place or we all got together cuz it's more of us in here than it is y'all so the lady said you right we boycott this place we'll all get together you not just talking to one we're all one so he became irate and then he going to go to the back because we all started to speak at one time yes let's boycott this place my son said what what did you call her I said he didn't say anything sweetheart step over . I wasn't about to let my son go to jail because that's what he wanted he was waiting to call the police on someone it wasn't even worth it when I can basically use my voicehad I repeated what he said it would have been an issue all right so the other lady heard and she said well boycott this place y'all not going to do nothing but keep coming here that's what he said we don't have to give anyone our money just because of food is great customer service come along with that they live in Duluth but they came in the hood to collect money from those people because they're praying on them and have no respect for them they money spend just as well as anyone else and they deserve better customer service and definitely respect I say they need to be borchotted for the disrespectfulness of everyone but they will no longer get my money

My two year old loves fried fish so we tried this spot for the first time. Ordered the 3 piece whiting with fries and hush puppies. Fish was good, next time I will ask them to fry it hard. Fries were seasoned well. Hush puppies were good. I will try again next Friday! I wish they had more of a selection to choose from (like maybe some snapper!) but overall it was cool.

Was not sure about where I was going but let me tell you! That was delicious food, I have had crawfish from the coast and it compares. Got the #6 and some fried whiting split it with 3 kids and still had leftovers. Delicious food.

Good food, reasonable prices, great workers sums the environment of this restaurant. The vibe and atmosphere is so New Orleans. Seems like a place the locals come hang out at when they want to order some fresh fish. The seasonings they use are just enough and the flavor is on point. I ordered food to cater a party and just what i ordered is what i received and it was on time. I have grown to love this place and will continue to support this local business

This place is legit good af! You get ALOT for your money, I order the 45 shrimp + 4 snow crabs + veggies and drink. They forgot the drink but honestly because the food was so good I'm willing to overlook that.

This spot will take your money and not give you all of your food. Bad customer service. Ghetto, ratchet and ridiculous. When I called them and told them that part of my order was missing they didn't want to deliver the rest of the food to me. If I could give this restaurant no stars I would.

Good seafood and affordable ! Location is kinda sketchy but that doesn't prevent the food from being delicious. Their catfish was some of the best I've had recently.

My husband and I honestly lucked up finding this place super close to home everything was amazing ... and seasoned to perfection 0 complaints ....
