"The mac and cheese at the historic Continental Tavern in Yardley isn’t your average, ordinary side dish. The Baked Million Dollar Mac and Cheese is the ultimate cheesy dish made even better with caramelized onions, candied bacon, and a panko paprika breadcrumb topping. Very friendly environment. Highly recommended. Food isn't expensive and the staff are very polite. Especially Sage who was our waiter. Very wonderful place.

First time visit. We had great, helpful and attentive service by Taylor. The food was fine. The wings were the best thing we tried. The French onion soup and Caprese Chicken ( huge, generous portion) didn’t have a lot of flavor. We Came early (5:30) on a Friday night. We didn’t have a reservation but there were tables available in the bar, outside and upstairs. Next time I would make a reservation to be safe. It was nice to see so many friendly young people working here - bus boys and hostesses.

Great place to stop in and have a drink. The food is fine. The staff are welcoming and pleasant but the inside is cramped for space with little room to move when it gets busy.

Sat on the porch during this beautiful evening and had dinner with my daughter. I like to judge a pub by its wings. The wings were very plump and I got the Dead Guy Hot Sauce as recommended by our waiter extradenaire, Aiden. Excellent wings! Had a very good Cuban sandwich with the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. My daughter loved her turkey burger and parm fries! Can wait to go back!

Google
A great experience! Comforting, delicious bar food, but elevated and perfectly cooked! Fresh salads, gourmet burgers, expertly fried wings, and probably the best fish and chips we have ever had. It looked like it was going to be heavy and over-oiled, but it was so light and beautifully cripsy! I have already recommended this place to my friends, and we will definitely be coming back again!

Google
The Continental is the BEST! I just threw my boyfriend a surprise 70th birthday party here, (there were 35 guests). The owner, Frank Lyons and his manager, Chris made this event AMAZING! They helped put the details together, making my job almost stress free. And the food was delicious. Our bartender, Theresa was on top of everything and her joyful demeanor was a plus! And finally, Sam, our busser, was courteous and quick. I highly recommend this place for an event.

Google
Absolutely loved our food! I had the reuben and sweet potato fries and they were perfect! The Thai sticky ribs app was perfect as was the cheese steak egg rolls! We saw the video about their restaurant renovation and Underground Railroad room! Yardley is an adorable town and the Continental was a great choice for our visit from Rhode Island! Got a tour of the hidden room beneath the kitchen, which may not be always possible on busy days. The family who owns it was so kind to us and the service was perfect! Thanks so much for a memorable history lesson and family meal!!

Google
Had dinner with friends on a Saturday night...reservations for 6. All the meals were good...a few different burgers, a Caesar salad, a flat bread, and bruschetta pasta, plus pretzel bites as an app for the table. Place was busy and upbeat....comfortable setting...service was excellent.

Yelp
Excellent spot The food was extraordinary The service was nice because they would come to your assistance quickly The Design of the restaurant was great with lots of history and it was a rather peaceful place

Daniel J.

Yelp
Nice, place to get lunch if you are in town! Space is large enough to sit down, relax, stretch your legs and speak at a normal volume to your friends. Waitstaff was polite and easy going. I dined here for lunch, during the summer - no wait really to speak of. Don't worry if you cannot eat outside, the interior (dark wooded motif) is air conditioned and spacious. Quality pub food served here with no regrets, I enjoyed my burger a lot. Good: -Buffalo Chicken Flatbread -Cowboy Burger -Friendly waitstaff -Outside seating on a nice day Bad: -None

Yelp
Great pub food. Stopped in for a quick lunch and a beer. We got the Aunt Rachel Special sandwich. Very tasty and a good value. Fries on the sides.a couple of draft lagers. Service was pleasant and efficient. We sat at the bar. Ambiance is neighborhood pub. Clean and pleasant. I used the bathroom it was well stocked and tidy. Everything worked. Value was excellent. We have been here before and will return. Mark & Nancy.

Yelp
Continental Tavern was a local favorite when we lived in Yardley over two decades ago, and it still is. This is a neighborhood bar in an historic building that was a stop on the Underground Railroad. Drinks and food are good. Service can be iffy, especially on a busy nights. There's a typical selection of hamburgers, sandwiches, wings, ribs, and salads. Check out the daily specials. Interior has a considerable amount of dark wood, and the place can get quite loud. Sports TVs throughout. Parking is in a lot shared with a CVS.

John L.

Yelp
I haven't visited the Continental Tavern in years, but the most recent experience I had reminded me of past visits. Simple standard fare, good service, friendly employees, and kid friendly for a good price. We were one of several families with children dining inside on this last lunch trip. They have some TV's with sports on that helped entertain my oldest and a highchair for the little one which was a bonus. A highchair that was actually clean was much appreciated! The kids menu is simple, but has all of the standards you would expect. My youngest had a grilled cheese with fries and the oldest had the pasta. They scarfed them both down with no complaints. My wife and I ordered salads and were very satisfied with them. Big portions, fresh ingredients and nicely plated. The wife and I came here as a dating couple BC (before children) for dinner/drinks and everything on this recent visit felt the same as back then - A friendly atmosphere, charming interior, historical past (read about it on their website) and a nice meal! We will return if in the area.

Yelp
Visited the Continental Tavern while staying in Yardley Pennsylvania and the experience was amazing A historic Tavern in a beautiful town, with artifacts discovered while renovating the lower part of the building Incredible artifacts from the prohibition speakeasy era, but the most interesting was a secret room which was a stop in the Underground Railroad passage. Thank you to the General Manager Chris Mascio for the great video and tour! The food was amazing and delicious and staff and service excellent. Also want to thank the owner Frank Lyons who took the time to sit and explain to me the history of the establishment . Can't wait to visit again

Cealita E.

Yelp
Looking for a spot where you can have something to eat and enjoy historical feature in Yardley, PA? There is this restaurant that boast on its historical value. It was an underground railway passage. We went for a tour after our lunch where the hostess showed us where the underground passage was. It was pretty interesting to see the past kept in pristine condition where you're able to peek in to see and touch a little bit of the past. The service was quick, we came in right before a wave of people starting to pour in, before noon. At first they served a small sized steak and the waitress said that we're going to have a second plate because the steak size was smaller than what it was indicated which was 8 oz. So they did well on that. The steak was ordered medium rare and was aged. I can tell it was aged because the texture of the meat was different, it almost melts in the mouth. I decided to ask the waitress if it was air dried for aging but apparently she's not sure so we asked the main hostess and she's not sure how long it was aged. Sometimes it well do well when hostess or waiters/waitresses know how their food was prepared because that adds interest to would be patron. Anyway, I'll go back for the steak alone. It's a bit pricey on the side but it's worth it. The mushroom soup is also pretty good, creamy texture with almost earthy taste. The salmon is just a ho-hum, you can tell if it's fresh based on texture of the salmon meat but this one is little bit on the dry side. Ambience is typical of a pub. Restroom is clean both upstairs and one near the bar. The place is pretty small and can be a little crowded. Just be prepared to look for a parking spot, it can also be really tight especially when you drive a bigger car like SUV or trucks. One more thing, they pass on to customers the cost on merchant fees when using credit cards which is about 2.5%. It's fully disclosed when you walk into the restaurant. Just pay in cash when you want to save up on dollars.

Charles W.

Yelp
Continental is your typical bar/restaurant with a bar section for about 20 people. I was surprised how crowded the restaurant was for a Tuesday night. The menu is pretty typical and we were spleasantly surprised by the portion size for the salad and rice bowl. Service was not quick but expected for the crowd. Continental matches up well with vault brewery down the street. Nothing bad and nothing spectacular.

Lisa F.

Yelp
The wait for someone to notice you is absolutely ridiculous. And the hostess/manager lady has walked by 4 times and just ignored us. Had to ask for the table to be cleaned. Had to ask for menus. 15 minutes so far no waitress. Come on now.

Miche

Yelp
Picked up a bunch of to go items today . Veggie dumplings, chicken Honey Toasted Almond Caesar Salad, burrito bowl, chicken cheese steak sandwich. Service was great. Everything made as ordered . Yummy , hot and fresh! Nice to have a good " Go To" place for lunch!!

Mark T.

Yelp
We were visiting from Western New York and were recommended to go to the Continental Tavern. The one who recommended it gave us a brief description of the restaurant and its history. We loved the design of the restaurant. The server did a good job and was a pleasure to talk with. Once she heard of our interest in the history of the restaurant she arranged a meeting with the general manager, Chris. Chris set up a video for us to watch that covered the establishment's history. It was very informative. He also took us on a tour to see the different floors of the building that held a lot of historical significance. Wow! So cool! Thanks Chris. We look forward to going back and would recommend the Continental Tavern to anyone.

Sherri S.

Yelp
Nice tavern atmosphere and a nice feel just walking in. Has a nice vibe. Six of us were lucky to get a table on a busy Wednesday night...we were seated upstairs as the restaurant was packed. (Few days b4 xmas and lots of people were already celebrating the holiday...two other local restaurants did not have a table for 6). It worked out really well for us bc upstairs was not noisy and we had great service. Unfortunately all six of us were more than underwhelmed by our food. Hamburgers over cooked and not great. The special sandwich of the night did not have enough sauce. I lucked out with the fried fish sandwich. It was the best choice out of the six. Fries were just ok. They were "not" crispy on the outside and soft in the middle the way I like. Tasted more like that sat out too long and were luke warm. House wine was sent back bc it tasted like vinegar. Bottled rootbeer had a horrible taste. Two tried that and could not drink it. Prices of sandwiches seemed high for the quality. Parking is "every man for himself"...not easy to find a spot. We had a fun night in spite of the lack luster food and I know none of us will rush back...ever.

Yelp
Quick Lunch - Delicious burgers & fries. great service! Enjoyable, comfortable bar space.

Gina R.

Yelp
lived in this area for 20 years and finally tried the Continental Tavern...should have waited another 20 years. food was mediocre, soggy fries, over fried appetizers, and overpriced. The noise level was high. And after all that, the 3% surcharge to use a credit card sealed the deal of never going back. Our server, Carl, did his best.

Greta R.

Yelp
Great food Service was wonderful Place has a special ambiance Always get a great meal.

Andres C.

Yelp
While the food is good and service quick, they decided to exploit their credit card patrons by charging 3.5% for the total tab (not just food) for paying with a card. I do not patronize businesses who carry out this scam so I will not return.

Robert L.

Yelp
The food, service and ambience are all very good. We used to go here in the 80s before moving away and I had the opportunity to take my mom and sister back for the first time in over 35 years. The wings are a big reason we went in the 80s and they are still very good today. The handhelds and burgers are all delicious along with the Contav fries. This probably would've been 4 stars but when I asked our waitress if they had any information on the history of the building she provided some literature and we were given a tour by the GM (Chris) who showed us the excavation they've done in the basement. I had no idea the building was part of the "underground railroad" in the mid-1800s. All around great experience!

Niki N.

Yelp
Delicious burger and onion rings. My daughter is allergic to egg so she ordered Cowboy Burger without knowing the bun had egg ingredients so I ended up eating her burger. It's big and delicious, just enough done that wasn't dry out. Wings was good too. Price is ok. They charged 5% on reusable to go containers.

Nicholas C.

Yelp
I was happily surprised to see that the surcharge was lowered to under 3% and only applied to credit cards. It was also listed on the beer and specials menus. While I still oppose this nickel-and-diming practice, I am happy to see the owners have made some positive changes.

Jackie B.

Yelp
We've been here many times, and sadly, each experience has gotten worse than the visit prior. Servers here are generally friendly but not especially attentive, and there is a lot of turnover in the waitstaff. As far as food goes: burgers are usually quite good. The appetizers tend to come out at room temperature or cooler - very disappointing for a spendy $7 basket of fries. I can't recommend the Chicken Pot Pie because it is a very meager portion. Nor can I recommend the Boneless Chicken Tenders appetizer because I bit down into shards of bone in mine last night. The host or hostess in a restaurant like The Continental Tavern should be the face of the restaurant, the first impression making a friendly & welcoming greeting to patrons who are about to plunk down upwards of $50 for a meal for two or more people. Instead, what you get is a snarky, "How MANY?" and when you answer, the hostess turns her back on you, gathers placemats & utensils and wanders away because it's just too much trouble for her to say, 'right this way' or 'please follow me.' I like the atmosphere inside as well as on the porch in pleasant weather, but with the bad experiences I've encountered in my last few visits, I'm disinclined to keep returning.

Linda C.

Yelp
Great food & service located in a building that was once part of the historical Underground Railroad.

Barbara A.

Yelp
Great service, food and beverage in the bar area. Our server/bartender was extremely friendly and made us feel like regulars, even though it was our first visit. We will definitely return!

D. L.

Yelp
Had a great Steak Burrito Bowl and had EXCELLENT SERVICE today. My father had a Continental burger, no bun, and he loved it. When I tried to order an IPA the bartender recommended I try a different one. It tasted great and now I sit here buzzed and stuffed. Also, love this place for meeting my friends from high school. They let us get loud and silly. ; )

Amber F.

Yelp
We arrived there and waited to be seated we finally sat down near the bar with no menus. We waited and I went to the hostess stand to get menus which were thrust at me. She promised she would be right over. The bartender came out and asked if we had been helped we said no. he said the waitress would be right over and he helped a different table. Then our waitress helped a table that had sat down 10 minutes after us. We still had not been helped. The bartender came out with the other tables drinks and asked if she had helped us. We got up and said we were leaving. We sat for 20 minutes with no help from anyone while everyone around us had been waited on.

Shenise F.

Yelp
This restaurant offers American staples that provide comfortable familiarity with a side of history. The Continental Tavern had several lives through it's over 200-year history and one of those lives was as a stop on the underground railroad. After the hearty black & bleu burger with sweet potato fries that I had, Chris, the general manager was so kind to take me a tour of the building. In the basement you can see the original foundation and bricks that created the tunnels for the enslaved to escape to freedom via the Delaware River which is two miles from this location. It's amazing how the former owners of this establishment were compelled to bring justice to the enslaved people that deserved to be free. During my visit, a local band was playing in the bar area and I was told that other events such as tarot readings take a place on a revolving basis. This is true gem in Yardley that everyone must visit for the food and history lesson.

Ida M.

Yelp
We went yesterday for St. Patrick's Day and had a great meal. Server was Karl and he handled the holiday volume well. They had Irish music and step dancing for the holiday. It was a fun atmosphere and we enjoyed sitting on the porch. They have my favorite chicken salad wrap, great burgers and pretzel bites. The Con-tav fries are amazing. I deducted a star since it was an hour wait but it was a holiday. Great tavern! We love the porch too. It's our favorite local spot.

Heather F.

Yelp
Con tav is the best! My husband and I come here often and love to sit on the porch during the summer. We came here tonight to celebrate my husbands birthday with some friends and drinks, and the staff were so nice and accommodating. Our server Jessica was super nice and got everyone's orders out quick (while we were probably being loud and ordering a bunch of different things at once). Always a good time here!

Elliot K.

Yelp
Cheesesteak egg rolls w the spicy ketchup was really good. Our waiter was attentive and it was a very festive place. Only wish they had more top shelf liquor to choose from only house brands available.

Kate R.

Yelp
I'm absolutely shocked by the behavior of the bartender at your establishment. We walked in to have a drink and sat down at a dirty table. No one came to clean it off, so we asked a passerby employee to help. The bartender yelled aggressively at us that there was no more service, and we should come to the bar. The sane employee came back to clear the table and I pushed some of the trash aside. He told me that I was throwing things on the floor and that I was extremely rude-yelling at us from behind the bar-as I tried to explain that I wasn't littering-he opted to yell more. We promptly left and I hope he gets the anger management he needs.

Jessica K.

Yelp
I went in for a drink with a friend and sat at a dirty table by the bar. We asked a server to clean it off for us and the bartender behind the bar yelled over to us pretty aggressively that there is 'no service' at the tables and we need to go the bar. Ok, fine. He wants the money, not a problem. All we wanted was to have the table cleaned off. When the server came back to 'clean off' off the table he left behind some trash so my friend pushed it off to the side. The same bartender started yelling at us that we were rude for pushing the trash off to the side. Super aggressive and obnoxious. Maybe he was having a bad night or he's just an overall jerk. Either way we got up and left and went down the street where the service was friendly and welcoming.

Robyn H.

Yelp
An enjoyable evening at the Continental Tavern. The place was way more crowded then I would have expected for a Tuesday night. We waited about 15 minutes before a hostess talked with us. We saw people getting up from a corner booth and asked for that table. The hostess was happy to accommodate the request. Our waitress was great. I wish I could remember her name. Shorter woman with gray hair and a super friendly smile. We ordered the meatloaf and prime rib sandwiches both with Tav fries. I ordered a specific cider that the bartender had to search for. I was so excited when they found it! Such a treat. My friends drink was a little weak but he drank them anyway so I couldn't have been to bad. The food arrived in a timely manner. It was presented well. The fries were fantastic. The meatloaf was thinner then I expected but had onion straws, mixes greens and a delicious ketchup sauce with a kick. My friend enjoyed his prime rib sandwich but I didn't taste it to share thoughts. It was plated nicely. There are three fry options that come with Sandwiches. Regular, sweet potato, and tavern fries which have old bay and a cheese sauce. The fries are delicious but the cheesy sauce needs some help. I think I'm just spoiled by the Chickie and Pete's sauce. I love the relaxed neighborhood tavern vibe this place gives off. People are friendly and chances are you generally run into someone you know here. I'd definitely return! Especially if they keep my cranberry cider behind the bar.

Yelp
Overall **** Finally! I felt like I was in such a rut after visiting several mediocre establishments in a row but I found Continental Tavern a rock solid 4 Stars. Yardley PA has a very attractive downtown but not much is open for an early lunch on a Sunday so we ended up here by default, I only wish I lived closer so I could return. Setting **** We originally were heading for Vault Brewery on a beautiful late August Sunday lunch. In spite of Yelp saying Vault was open apparently they close between brunch (11:30) and lunch (12:30) so we walked down the street to find this restaurant on the corner. The main entrance is not overly obvious and we mistakenly went up the ramp and into the bar area. I'm glad we did though as it afforded me the opportunity to explore the space. The Continental is classic Pub/Tavern with dark wood and warm lighting. We sat outside on the front porch which was pleasant but noisy from street traffic. Service **** Since it seemed to be the only place in town open at 12:00pm they were busy and that definitely slowed service. But everyone from the bartender to the hostess to our server to the manager was very friendly. Our server, while overwhelmed, made suggestions with ease and generally seemed proud of the restaurant. Food **** At our servers strong suggestion we started with the Cheese Curds. I originally had no interest but thought I'll try just one, well I found myself practically fighting for the last one as they were quite addictive. We also started with the Pretzel Bites which were ok but I thought they were doughy and the adjoining Beer Cheese Sauce was oddly cold and congealed. For lunch I ordered the French Dip and it was fantastic. The Crab Fries were delicious as well but the unexpected surprise was the side of cheese sauce for dipping. A table mate had the Turkey Burger which she described as "actually really good not dry, not too turkeyee", which I think is a good thing. :-) My wife's Salad with Grilled Chicken was described as ok but I'm starting to think she is just getting bored since it's either a Salad or Salmon every time out. The laggard seemed to be another's Cheesesteak that was called forgettable. Value **** I could complain about my French Dip being $16.50 but with the appetizers under $10, Turkey Burger and Salad $12, kids meals $6, beers $5, wine $7.50 the price point is really good.

Christine C.

Yelp
We stopped in to have some chicken wings and beer while in Yardley. What a great place! The atmosphere was really relaxed, we dined on the bar side. Wings were a decent size and delicious. They have a huge selection of sauces to choose from.

Billy L.

Yelp
Super disappointing to find that the kitchen closes early now, You should update your website so people don't drive to your restaurant only to find the bar open!

Kelly O.

Yelp
I've been here before (once or twice years ago) and remembered thinking it was pretty good. But I came this past Saturday and honestly, was not pleased. The cheese steak spring rolls were great, I will say that. But otherwise....I ordered the nachos with chili (instead of chicken) and got a plate of chips with cheese, and a cup of chili on the side (see picture?!). I've never seen that before? And it wasn't good like that. Was I supposed to dip my nachos in the chili? Or pour it on top of the lettuce (which would have been gross). I don't know if the waitress/kitchen forgot what I ordered, or if that's how it's normally served? If i had gotten the chicken, would I have gotten a cup of shredded chicken on the side? My sister asked for fries with her sandwich. About 10 minutes AFTER she got her her sandwich, the waitress brings her a basket with literally 7 fries in it and says "this is all the kitchen has right now...I can get you more later if you want." Umm..what? It was a little before noon and I saw maybe 8 other people in the restaurant, so they weren't slammed. Not really sure what was up, but also not really sure I'd come back. Very disappointing.

Gerald W.

Yelp
We've gone here in the past (many years) and it was okay. It was a good alternative if the Vault was too busy. Handful of beers suiting different tastes and filling pub food. Fries were good. However, the last time we went, we were seated by one waitress and given menus. She said another waitress would come to take our order but that never happened order. We waited about 20 minutes, but by then our plans to have a pint and snack on the way somewhere else was running out of time. I would go back, but only after we hear how other people we know are getting service there recently. I assume it was just a fluke, but there are no shortage of places that I don't feel like are gambles.

Brandon E.

Yelp
This is a simple, bar/American food joint, always has been and glad to see it probably always will be. Growing up here we used to come frequently, now when I am in town I occasionally stop by. It's a tavern, with some old timey charm. The food is good, I would say 3.5 stars overall. They've upped their game on french fries and now have something similar to crab fries, delicious. I got a burger, while good, it was big enough it should be cooked to a desired temp, instead it was just med-well, which is dry for me. As a kid I used to be obsessed with the wings here, they are still very good, not that meaty but still pretty solid flavor. Again, the french fries and cheese sauce are wonderful. Service is pretty great, they did run out of high chairs last time we were there, but it was a packed house. We did eventually get one though. Service overall was very good and that's why I round up to 4 stars. Every time I have been service has been A+. They also have some outdoor seating with heaters too which is nice. If you are in Yardley and don't want a pretentious type meal, this should be your first stop.

Erin O.

Yelp
I stopped in for lunch with my 1 year old granddaughter. We were early, so seating was plentiful. The lunch staff was super friendly and helpful. Our meals were excellent. The kid's macaroni and cheese was delicious (I had to check the temperature ). The sweet potato fries could possibly replace Contav Fries as my favorite French fry. I opted for the chicken salad wrap. It has been my go to for years and it never disappoints. As we exited, we walked through the bar to use the ramp. Every patron sitting in the bar said hello which just confirmed what a welcoming, friendly atmosphere exists at The Continental.

Christine G.

Yelp
Stopped in on Easter for lunch at the Bar - bartender super friendly. Loved the cheesesteak egg rolls, patty melt and chicken samdwich. Good value great service

Sean C.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch a few Sundays ago. The hostess told me to sit anywhere so I took a seat by the bar. No staff came over to greet me, take my drink order or provide a menu. I sat there for close to 20 minutes as other patrons came in and served. Eventually, I got fed up and left to go elsewhere.

Drew P.

Yelp
We tried their takeout through GrubHub. Major fail. The Chicken pot pie was meager and arrived without side salad. The Turkey burger was fine, but came without fries. A $40 takeout that could barely feed one person.

Diane K.

Yelp
Had a BLT- the worst I've ever had with processed turkey, bacon barely there and underdone toast, lousy. How can you mess up a simple BLT? Disappointed in the whole meal. My husband had meatloaf sandwich, too salty, plus it was made incorrectly. He asked for gravy and it was served with barbecue sauce. Had to be redone. He waited at least 20 minutes while the rest of us had our meals. Would not go back or recommend.

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
I stopped in for lunch with my niece who is from the area. We were pleased that the restaurant was open for lunch on a Monday. There was plenty of parking in the lot behind the tavern which is shared with a CVS and other businesses. We were seated in the dining room and our waitress was very pleasant and efficient with our orders. I had a salad with grilled chicken and my niece had a cheese burger with fries. Both meals were very good. We liked the ambience at the tavern and enjoyed the historic quality of the location and the many photos and items displayed showing past finds below the structure.

Jeff S.

Yelp
Nice local pub in the heart of Yardley. Service from the bartenders and waitresses is always excellent and the parking situation out back couldn't be better. You can always get a spot no matter when you stop by. The interior is warm and cozy and reminds me alot of a British pub. The bar is excellent for having a drink and watching a game, but conversation is next to impossible with the frenetic noise level. Way too loud for my taste. I've also had dinner here and the food was good, though again, it was difficult to hear anyone at the table clearly. As far as our meal went, we got the roasted cauliflower app, the French onion soup topped with Swiss and Provolone, the NY Strip Steak done medium, and the fish and chips. Everything was served quickly and tasted ok. It wasn't very high level preparation or execution, but they definitely did a competent job for a pub. All in all, there's alot to like about the Continental Tavern. It's a nice reliable place for a few drinks or some simple pub food. Pleasant spot all around. Four stars from me.

Kim F.

Yelp
Went there with a co-worker during lunch. About a five minute wait to sit outside. Service was slow. But the food was very good. I got tacos. And it came with a side of beans and rice. Very filling. My friend got a turkey BLT. It was huge. He said it was very good. Would like to come again for dinner or happy hour. Parking is a little tough.

Yelp
Our experience was that the dishes we order came out with missing and/or different ingredients from what was in the menu. Which is fine except that we were not told about it until we asked after the food came out. Service was alright.

Yelp
Stopped here on our way home after reading some of the reviews and seeing they had some vegan options on the menu which is hard to find most of the time. Ordered the vegetable dumplings and the vegan Buffalo chicken salad. Both were delicious. The wait staff was awesome, polite and all in all had a wonderful experience. Considering all the overpriced, not good restaurants in New Hope, this place is worth a little drive from there if you want a good meal

Yelp
Been here a few times. While some items are good (grilled sriracha wings) others, like the continental burger, are meh. And the kids menu pizza is straight up frozen pizza that has been microwaved. Mad disrespectful to pizza and children. And it's $6. I wish I could give 2.5 but I'll round up I guess.

Yelp
The Fried cheese curds here are OUT OF THIS WORLD. I've had them at many other places but these top the chart and you can't beat the price of $10. If you love your appetizers as dinner, don't pass this one up.
