This is the best place I have ever been in my life! The ambience is fantastic with the special touch of Sofia the fantastic owner that you can find there ready to take care of you and make the experience the best of your life! The food unbelievably platted and super delicious! You can find the best Italian wines and paring them with the best food! Just in love with the vibe, you have to try to understand 😍 From an Italian definitely recommend it 🇮🇹

Absolutely wonderful. A husband and wife team with deep background in wine and a genuine love for Italian heritage and hospitality. The interior is beautiful and cozy. The wine selection is fantastic with diverse and interesting Italian choices by the glass and bottle, at reasonable prices and high quality. What I didn't expect was how amazing the food was. I am still thinking about the Abruzzese lamb skewers. You should definitely go.

My new favorite Italian spot in North Beach! Extraordinary. Their elite standard of food and service will now be what I compare all other restaurants to. The staff were so ready to help, the premises are extremely clean, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is both delicious and beautifully presented.

What a great find...a true gem. The food and wine were phenomenal. I had the filet mignon, and my brother had the Trofie alla Convivium (Sicillian pesto) and Parmigiana alla Convivium (deconstructed eggplant with couscous, avocado and tomato)...all were absolutely delicious. The calamari was perhaps the best I ever had. The wines were also spectacular. A must visit if you are in the San Francisco area.

Love the owners, the vibe, the style. Intimate and refined. Generous portions, delicious filet. Very reasonable wine prices. The family makes it special. Looking forward to the next visit.

Convivium Enoteca is North Beach's newest hidden gem! We had an early dinner with friends here before heading over to Club Fugazi to see Dear San Francisco. The owner (Lorenzo) is incredibly hospitable. He shared delightful stories about his family traditions and how they inspired items on the menu. His family is into winemaking, so they had a solid list of wines and recommendations. For appetizers, we ordered olives, bruschetta, calamari, and the grilled lamb skewers. For mains, we all shared a number of dishes that were well portioned and less commonly found on menus including: grilled octopus, trofie pesto pasta, and a special risotto made with octopus. We'll definitely be back again. Thanks to Lorenzo & his team for a delicious meal!

Such an adorable addition to North Beach! Great wine selection, and Sophia is great! We had the calamari, olives, the pasta with lamb ragu, and the octopus. I wanted to order the rest of the menu! Don't miss out on this gem. It's become a regular spot for our friends!

this place is so CUTE!! i love the decor and it feels very luxe. the best wine here is the scarpone montelpuciano--it's the owners wine!! i've tried a bunch of their food and my favorite is the spaghetti alla chitarra and parmigiana alla convivium. also, the savory cannoli is insane!! i've never tried anything like it, it was so savory and the little truffle pearls--i could eat those all day. this is definitely on my wine bar rotation

Nice place to eat in Santa Barbara. If you eat outdoors you can see the view of the ocean. The service was great. The waitress made sure we were taken care of. I ordered the pesto focaccia. It was delicious. I did ask for balsamic vinegar to add some more flavor. I also ordered a mushroom pizza. It was amazing. Very filling and I could have shared it. My husband ordered two vegan options. The charred avocado salad which was refreshing and a vegan flatbread. The flatbread had mint which was a little overpowering and the vegetables were huge. Would have been better a bit smaller but overall was good. When they bring you the check they give you little mini cookies. If your dining with someone who needs vegan options this is a good place to go to.

Convivium is great for a date night any night of the week! The wine was exceptional and they have a great variety - we even got a free tasting that was to die for! Lorenzo is so knowledgeable about wine and was so gracious when chatting to us about Italian wine. They've expanded their menu since we dined there in January and the food was exceptional! The lamb skewers and mushroom pasta was to die for! Will definitely come back as a regular

Food was flavorful, Service is awesome. We had our annual Christmas dinner here and it was pretty fun. Its a brand new Wine Bar in North Beach.

This place is terrific! Very friendly service from Lorenzo and Sophia, longtime SF residents. The selection of Italian wines by the glass or bottle is impressive and very extensive. The seating and decor are comfortable and warm. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Great experience! Great service from a Lindsay, with fabulous food, local ristorante, relaxed with excellent choices for lovers of Italian food. Gratzi to Lorenzo for his wonderful stories. This is a place to enjoy, and you will be grateful you did. The lighting is nice for a intimate dinner, same with the music. Service is excellent, attentive, not rushed . Excellent for an anniversary or birthday.

I can't say enough good things about this beautiful wine bar. Such an authentic Italian vibe in the heart of North Beach. This hidden gem is everything I love about the Italian people and culture all rolled into one. The owner, Lorenzo Scarpone is a warm and welcoming host with a vast wealth of knowledge about wine in general and Italian wines in particular. The wines he recommended we we taste were all excellent. It was difficult to pick a favorite! The ambience is all soft lighting, comfy banquets and cozy tables conducive to conversation. Walked in here yesterday to check out this new wine bar and was blown away by the amazing food menu ! Having been to both Italy as well as Eataly, the dishes + drinks are as authentic as you can get ! Sofia and her staff were super welcoming, a great addition to the North Beach / San Francisco community !
