Visited with a friend. Find the place in the heart of East Village. The restaurant is kind of small but with good atmosphere. Perfect for family or dating. The chef came out to introduce himself and suggested some specials. I personality loved the short ribs. Over all, the service was superb and the price is very reasonable. Not much restaurant I've visited will give you that kind of service and good food for the price. I am planning to go back with my family soon.

My bestie and I were looking for a place that would suit both our taste buds for the night. I wanted seafood, she wanted a burger; after a quick google search and menu browse, we decided on Conway diner. An Asian American Fusion Restaurant. We made it just in time to be seated as the last patrons of the night, giving our outing an exclusive feel. The overall experience? 10/10! The food quality, vibe, service and price were all perfect. I had the seafood linguine, and when I tell you the seafood was so FRESH?! My friend had the burger which came with coleslaw (that was prepared more like a pikliz and I TRULY) enjoyed that 🙂‍↕️). At that point my friend and I were surprised that the place wasn’t packed! That’s when we found out they’ve only been open for about six months. We got to meet the chef, thanked him and our server profusely and made a promise to let everyone we know about this place. If you ever find yourself on the lower east side, make sure to check out Conway Diner! 🍔🍝

The ambiance was very nice for dinner and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were also mindful about allergy concerns. The food was also fresh and very tasty. Definitely recommend this spot for those who like to try something new or contemporary eats.

Awesome place, located on second avenue. As I arrived with my family, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Took our order fast. As we got out food, we did enjoyed every single bite of it. At the end, the chef came out and greeted us, a special gentlemen. I barely give reviews but this is a special charm place and it was a must!. I recommended it 100%!!!

Place had no wait, but will soon once more people find out about it. Great vibe with music at the perfect volume. Beautiful outdoor seating and indoor seating with open doors allowing you to look outside. Tons of natural light. Also fantastic food at a great price. Came out quick and nice presentation. My plate was as clean as possible. And I forgot to mention, the service was incredible. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area

Just had one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time at the newly opened Conway Diner in the East Village. Although their menu isn’t heavy on vegetarian-friendly options, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The chef and the owner, Jason, personally stepped in to craft a custom, one-of-a-kind vegetarian dish just for me—and let me tell you, they did not miss. Every bite was packed with flavor, creativity, and genuine care. You can feel the heart and hustle in this place, and that alone makes it worth visiting. Between the warm service and the mouthwatering food, Conway Diner has officially earned a spot on my must-return list. Absolutely Helwa Approved.

The waitress was really friendly. The cook was really nice and came out halfway to ask if we were enjoying our food. The food was good as well. Highly recommended!

Solid Hong Kong-style pork chop here - crispy outside, tender inside, and well-seasoned. Comes with decent portion of rice and veggies. Place gets loud during dinner but service is quick. Prices are fair for the area. Would come back when craving simple, satisfying comfort food. The beef short rib is also worth trying👍

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food and service! I came here with my fiancé and we were genuinely blown away. Every dish was delicious, and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming--so attentive and friendly, they made us feel right at home. We had such a lovely experience from start to finish. I never write restaurant reviews, but Conway Diner truly deserves the praise. Take a look at the food pictures--we couldn't resist snapping a few because everything looked (and tasted) incredible. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for comfort food done right, with a personal touch.

Yelp
I wanted to try their fish and chips after I found this small diner on 2nd Ave., so with some time on my hands, I decided to go over and have some. The place was empty but it was very neat and clean with a pleasant atmosphere and decor. The young waiter took my order and in a short time, out came a pretty plate of fresh panko breaded fish a small coleslaw with perfect French fries! I was happy with a beer and fish and chips. The dish came to $17.00 without the $5.00 beer. All in all, a very pleasant experience. I'll be back again soon! Thank you Conway Diner!
