Coo Coo's Gourmet Coffee Cafe

It was a pretty nice place, food was good, small but from the amount we paid, not bad. It tasted good. Eggs were fluffy. We paid around $23 for two of us since we got the croissant breakfast sandwich and sunrise breakfast sandwich as well as a banana strawberry smoothie. Not bad at all if you ask me. Inside is clean, bathroom is clean and decorated and they even include a febreeze scent bottle for after use. That alone made me wanna give this 5 stars. I respect it.

Love this place very relaxed and comfortable. Also very clean and the food is scrumdiddlyumptious. Definitely a 10 out of 10 highly recommend it. All the reviews and true.😉👍🏼🤗

My family and I received a voucher for a free item at this restaurant from our spectacular Realtor. I wasn't sure when we were going to use it because we live in the far Northwest part of the city and normally, when we want to visit Henderson, we plan to make it a somewhat all-day event in that city. Honestly, I thought we were going to let that voucher expire because I had no intentions of visiting Henderson anytime before the expiration date. Well, the tide had turned and our weekend plans, specifically on 27 Apr 2024 were left wide open...so my wife and I decided to take a road trip to Henderson. We arrived ~1:00 pm and were shocked, yet thankful that the parking lot wasn't full and neither was the restaurant. I have zero doubts that this restaurant gets busy often, but for the sake of it being our first visit here, I'm glad that it wasn't busy at all...I wanted some time to look at their menu without feeling like I'm being rushed by impatient customers. The fact that we were starving didn't help either because everything sounded scrumptious. Aside from the hunger pains, we opted for the Ultimate Bagel Sandwich, Breakfast Burrito, Belgian Waffle Breakfast Plate, and a couple of drip coffees. The food was magnificent! I was a little disappointed with the size of the Breakfast Burrito because in my mind, I was picturing a large burrito like you'd get at some of those Mexican restaurants. But considering the price of the burrito, it was adequate. The Ultimate Bagel Sandwich was outstanding...the Dijonnaise provided that perfect balance of flavors with the ham, tomato, eggs, cheese, and crispy bacon. The waffle was light and fluffy; we were appreciative that this restaurant utilized fresh fruit without all that fruit syrup added to the waffle/fruit. The whole meal tasted natural, fresh, and satisfying...even the fresh fruit cup was extraordinary. The service was on par; the employees were very friendly and efficient. The prices of their food are adequate - I can't imagine anyone complaining about the prices at this restaurant unless they're one that loves to complain nonstop. I am grateful for this business and their continued support to the active men and women of the Armed Forces, to include its Veterans - thank you for this! I'm glad that we took the time to drive out to this restaurant because it was well worth it. I am especially thankful for our Realtor/friend for providing us a reason to travel to this area and experience this wonderful gem of a restaurant. Of noteworthy mention, the restaurant's décor provided a great feel/vibe to the overall dining experience. I've provided pictures so you can see it, but I suggest you visit in person and see for yourself - eat some quality food while you're there too. Highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Flat out, loved the place. Staff and coffee were great. We especially loved the throwback decor. I'd be here a lot if we lived nearby.

While walking through water street, we discovered this cozy cafe. The menu is extensive for breakfast and lunch. Coo Coo’s offered a variety of sandwiches, classic breakfasts, milkshakes, smoothies, desserts and more! The decor was super cute and appealing. It definitely feels like an old school diner with the checkered floor tiles and red vinyl booths. Also, great customer service and affordable prices. I’ll definitely be coming back!

It's kind of a retro Diner Style coffee shop and Cafe they have sandwiches burritos and all kinds of things I had the breakfast burrito and it was delicious. There is tons of parking. Nice comfortable boots but a little bit of quiet music would be nice.

Please note this place has moved to a new location. An old little diner wanted to try it I pass by it all the time. Very good prices. I ordered the acai bowl I loved. My husband ordered a burrito a little small but okay.

Came back to Coo Coo's after a very long, overdue time for their frapp! This time I got a caramel frapp, a chunky monkey for my husband, an Italian sub lunch combo and a cup of tortilla soup. The place was busy, like it usually is, but it is worth the wait! The location has stayed the same for the most part, a small family, locally owned restaurant that deserves all the business they get! If you're looking for a frapp, smoothie, coffee drink- come to this location. Though their options might be limited, their drinks are all tasty, consistent, FRESH and quickly made!! The food is also always fresh and the soup I had was homemade. Give them a try, and with their simple menu, you'll be able to taste everything so quickly when you keep coming back for more!

This is a great little cozy diner. We were looking for a place to have breakfast and found this place. I enjoyed a breakfast burrito and coffee. The staff was so friendly, prices were reasonable and the food was great. I highly recommend this place.

Had some time to kill before an appointment and decided to pop in here and get some coffee and a bite to eat. Lady working was very nice and super helpful with menu recommendations. I got an iced caramel macchiato and their southwest chicken wrap. The macchiato was decent could use a tad more flavor but the wrap was really tasty. The interior is such a vibe though, would definitely come back if I'm over on this side of town again.

I work up at City Hall and though I usually bring my lunch, I occasionally order delivery and I've got to say shame on me for not going with Coo Coo's Cafe every time. Their food is simple but with an exciting flair. It's food that everybody knows and that not many places do anymore and it is always good. It's not overly expensive and I am always happy after eating it. I've gotten the blondie (tuna sandwich), Mesquite Chicken and Bacon sandwich, and the California sandwich before and all were top notch with my favorite being the blondie surprisingly. If you're in the area and want a great lunch, definitely check out Coo Coo's.

This is a tiny little restaurant in the downtown Water Street District. I went here after a friend told me about it. I ordered the waffles with strawberry on top and scrambled eggs and extra crispy bacon to go. The food was good. I didn't have to wait too long. There is a nice little sitting area inside which gives you the vibe of one of those old style cafés from the 1960s.

I would recommend this business 100 times over. The food is so fresh. You can definitely feel the love put into everything they do. It's family ran, and you can tell. They have the most reasonably priced sandwiches, delicious, sides to accompany them, and a fresh baked cookie, included, for such a great price. The bagels are great, for breakfast and the breakfast sandwich's are equally delicious. Love the 50's vibe! This place is a hidden gem.

The items we ordered were fabulous for what they are, we really appreciate the vibe here. Jesus and Maribel provided luxury service - if we asked for something they got right to it. The vegan wrap sounds basic but is fire, red pepper hummus slaps inside! Im not a big jalapeño fan perro it was delicious. The waffle with ice cream is dank too. The croissandwich is a hit and the BLT was so good they saved the other half for the ride home. Great pitstop before your ride to wherever you decide to go. Thank you for being our breakfast spot today :)

I've been wanting to try this place since moving here almost two years ago since it's close to where I live. I finally made it here, lol! I haven't seen a place like this in Vegas yet, so it's cool having a restaurant that reminds me of home. The place is really cute with diner, vintage, Route 66 vibes which I love. The menu is huge and it was hard for me to pick. But finally I chose the Petite Breakfast and a custom smoothie. First of all, the Petite Breakfast isn't so petite, lol! It's huge and I could barely finish it. The eggs were basic but it's nice they came with cheese already without an extra charge. The grits were insanely buttery but really good. Sourdough toast was crisp and tasted great with a little butter. Sausage patty was standard and good. I honestly can't believe the value I got for the price paid. It was overall a standard good breakfast that was super generous and affordable. The smoothie I got (strawberry, mango, and pineapple) was delicious, and again, the smaller Regular size was actually huge. The service was fast and standard good. The only thing I'd change is for them to have reusable forks, spoons, and knives instead of plastic ones. This is a place I'd definitely bring my family to (the ones who appreciate this kind of vibe). Glad I finally made it in!

Holy moly! I have lived in henderson my entire life and I'm just mad with myself I didn't go in sooner. It's an absolutely adorable little spot taking you back in time with the decor, service was great, and THE WAFFLES!!! Oh my God the waffles!!! One bite and I knew I found our forever breakfast spot. The Mexican Mocha was also delicious! The I would recommend getting the small the Large lived up to its name for sure. Don't pass this place up. We will be returning soon!

Great coffeehouse off of Water Street in downtown Henderson. Sort of stumbled upon it going to the ice rink...excellent coffee and fun vibe! Highly recommend

I love this place! It's so cute inside and the service is always top notch! I basically come here for the smoothies but will definitely try the food in the future. Their smoothies are so good!!! This is a hidden gem. You order your food at the counter and you can eat inside or outside. The food is delicious and the service was amazing. It's a feel good experience right across the street from Pacific Dinner. I loved Pacific Dinner but a waitress with an attitude ruined that for me and I spotted this gem and loved it

I just wanted to say how great Coo Coo's cafe is. The food here is solid, tastes great and the great quality is very "CONSISTENT" anddd even much better than those over priced hipster brunch/lunch cafe type of places you see popping around town nowadays. If you want a hearty meal that you can count on and will be worth the price. Come check this place out, i'm sure you'll find how many people frequent this place and rave about the trust in the food they make here. Also this place have a great old diner style feel to it. Lets bring back cafes that actually care about the taste and quality of the food instead of just instragramable food that taste like crap. I believe this place is now under new management from the previous owners, but this place has not missed a beat! love this place!

Coo coo's cafe is a Henderson staple. This small business offers sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, and other items. The feel inside resembles a 50s diner with splashes of nostalgia. I always get the alfalfa sandwich. Ask for it without bacon bits to make it vegetarian. All sandwiches and wraps come with a side and a cookie. The cookie is always soft delicious. Their shakes are hand made and are really large. Definitely a tasty treat on a warm day. The staff is always very friendly and professional and I've never had an order made wrong. Overall, I definitely recommend this place. The only thing that concerned me was the cleanliness of the eating area. Several of the tables hadn't been wiped down in a while and I could see food that had dropped and dried on the floor. Also, there were areas of the floor that were sticky. I pulled out a chair to sit down and it was caked with a film. The place often has a steady flow of locals and it can be tricky to clean during the rush hours. If there was a cleaning station, I would have been happy to wipe down my own table and chairs. Come by and say hi!

I loved this place. The vibe is here is so cute ! The food is good as well. My sister and I both got this drink with RedBull in it. Very delicious. She got the veggie wrap and I got the Italian with capicola! Also delicious. We'll definitely be back

This place is a hidden gem in Henderson! You literally cannot find one bad thing on their menu. And all of the staff members are very friendly and give great service!

I was there yesterday and the food is ok, nothing special. The sub sandwich that I had was more lettuce than meat. I eventually removed some of the lettuce. The portion sizes for the sandwiches are very small compared to other places for the price $11 plus dollars. I could get a better sub with more meat/cheese for $9. I might go back to try the breakfast options but no more of their sub sandwiches. They could also offer another option on the sandwich besides mayonnaise. Who wants just mayonnaise on a sub?

Located in downtown Henderson, don't blink you might miss it. Fashioned after small town cafes we all grew up with, well some of us did. Paul greeted us from the counter where you order off well placed, and easy to read menus. The prices were surprising, all breakfast items and plates under ten dollars....What? Definitely a pleasant surprise, and the food is high quality. I ordered the waffle plate with bacon and it comes with scrambled eggs, and I added strawberries as I heard they were fresh. See photo-The plate comes with two types of cheese I opted out of. My husband ordered a bagel sandwich: scrambled egg with cheese and bacon which he enjoyed. There are also several choices for coffee, and I ordered a caramel macchiato, I found to be delicious and flavorful. The menu also boasts of many types of smoothies and Bobas. WoW so much to choose from. This is a favorite hangout for the locals as there are lots of games and things to occupy ones time, located on a bookcase with shelves on the side where they take your order. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, and I don't think it's the restaurants fault, however, we chose to dine outside, and every so often a waft of very odiferous sewage unfortunately would fill my nostrils making me wish we had chosen to dine indoors. Next time perhaps when we come through Henderson again we will try dine in. Another plus breakfast is served all day....Yes!

I finally tried this place out after an 8am Dr. appointment across the street! I ordered the breakfast platter, there was nothing exciting about it, except for the amount of food you got at a very low price!! The atmosphere and service was excellent and I will definitely be back to try their more exciting options!!

Maribel was very pleasant we were new and she helped my daughter and I pick out breakfast she had the California burrito and I had the three egg cheese quesadilla with sausage. The food was awesome and just the right size and temperature. Thank you for a great Breakfast experience.

Coocoos is located in downtown Henderson. It is a small quaint diner that has a large menu. It definitely gives you a ton of options. The service was very quick and friendly. Now to the food. I was a bit thrown off when I saw the business advertising "gourmet" food, when I was served pastuerized eggs and another in my party received a frozen hash brown on the plate. The portions were large and the food was cooked perfectly, it just wasn't the "gourmet" I was hoping to find. We also ordered a couple coffees. Both ended up being on the sweet syrupy side of the flavor spectrum as I do believe everything is flavored with syrups. The frozen coffee tasted more like an ice cream shake than a coffee. They do have free wifi and the bathrooms were clean. With all that being said, I'm not sure if this is a place that would leave me desiring another visit. However I can honestly say, it wasn't a negative experience and those seeking this type of food out would definitely not be disappointed.

Working in Downtown Henderson like I do, you learn quickly what restaurant's are in the area and which of those that are good. Coo Coo's is definitely one of the good ones. I hade been coming here for quite a few and have tried many different items off the breakfast and lunch menu. Along with the various meals they offer, they also have deserts. At times, we've also ordered cookie trays for meetings with outside clients as they have been pleased with both the presentation and the taste. What separates Coo Coo's from many other businesses in Downtown Henderson, is their willingness to deliver to the surrounding area. Every day, you see a delivery driver walking around City Hall with a bag of food to deliver to someone. I have had thoughts of pretending to be the person who ordered just the reap the benefits. Maybe one day. Just this morning, our office all ordered breakfast and I got the bagel sandwich with bacon. It had nice melted cheddar on top of a fried egg. I added hot sauce to give it a little kick. If you are in the mood for breakfast, or lunch want to go to a local establishment, come check it out!

We were craving waffles and eggs so we decided to come give this place a try. We ordered Aunt Jackie's breakfast Special I think it was called. The food was sooooo good. We got 2 smoothies as well, they were delicious. I'd really recommend this place the service was good as well. Kind and fast.

They're open bright and early and ready to serve breakfast at 6am!! This local favorite has bee here forever. My kids use to come here when they went BMS back in the day. You can always count on a good cooked to order breakfast or lunch. Recent visit I had the Belgian Waffle breakfast that included scrambled eggs w/cheese and chose bacon for my choice of meat. It took a lil long for the order to come out, but I didn't mind since I knew it was made to order. Waffle was really good. I like the batter they used. Texture was light and fluffy. Every bite with whip cream and fresh strawberries was yummy. I always found the owner Paul and his staff pleasant. I liked how they recently extended the space and added a dining area. Even with construction and orange cone zones constantly plaguing on the area on Pacific St, you can find a place to park.

This place is located in the historic district of Henderson. The "old" Henderson. I've heard good things regarding their coffee so I've been wanting to come here for a while. I ordered the regular-sized vanilla blended coffee. It was delicious! Prepared perfectly, not so sweet, coffee is great quality, service was good as well and prices are fair. I'll be coming back to try out their food.

A pleasant surprise. An older building, with character. The food is very good with nice helpful staff. I would suggest trying waffles without syrup. They're that good.

Who's running this place now??? Under new management, previous owner no longer running it?? The food has definitely declined in quality and customer service is extremely slow I will no longer be ordering my huge orders with them look elsewhere. This place sadly has changed and not for the better

Bare bones old-school bfast joint...exactly what the doctor ordered. We had a quick meal here b4 heading to the Hoover Dam: egg/cheese/bacon/salsa bfast wrap, egg/ cheese sandwich, chocolate peanut butter muffin, coffee and hot chocolates. Quick and cheap-perfect.

I love this quaint cafe, I drove in from CA. on a Monday, only place open. I'm so glad that it was open. Best breakfast and great prices. I had the petite breakfast, the fluffiest eggs , good ham, hash browns and yummy sourdough toast. I had Earl Grey tea . I have gone back 3x since and I will head there again tomorrow to get a homemade milk shake.I took 2 friends there and they loved the Berry smoothie and quesadilla, said it was delish!
