Cöödie - Review - Peckham - London - The Infatuation

"Cöödie has big eye-roll potential. The clinical-looking, minimalist Peckham cookie bar has a sculptural, curved coffee station and uncomfortable, steel, backless stools, and the cookies come in flavours like raspberry with hoisin sauce and ruby chocolate. But what saves this spot from being irritating is the warm service and the fact that the cookies are good. Each has a lovely buttery texture and the coffee here is great too. Still, Cöödie is not going to work for a lot of occasions. Scrap anything that requires comfort, visual stimuli, or sitting for a large period of time. Instead, come for a creative cookie with your most design-conscious friend, or get a mini haul to take away. photo credit: Cöödie photo credit: Cöödie Food Rundown Sobrasada And Cheese This tastes like a Carr’s cheese melt, with the addition of smoky, meaty sobrasada paste. If you can get your head around the strong flavours and the fact that it’s a savoury cookie, it’s tasty. Although, the pipette is unnecessary and doesn’t help the feeling of being in a lab under observation. photo credit: Cöödie Raspberry With Hoisin Sauce And Ruby Chocolate A delicious cookie that doesn’t taste discernibly like hoisin sauce at all. But the raspberry and ruby chocolate aren’t too sweet so perhaps it’s doing background balancing work. This was very good—different, but not just for the sake of it. photo credit: Cöödie" - Sinéad Cranna

I loved this coffee shop. I got a latte and salted caramel pear and hazelnut cookie. The coffee was so good, a smooth and easy drink. The cookie was absolutely fantastic. I will defo recommend. The staff were also friendly and helpful. They have been around foe 1 Yr. They have seating as well.

I never stop at cookie shops but this one intrigued me: creative combinations and items filled upon order, with a pinch of Mediterranean healthy touch. It didn't disappoint, cookie dough is indulgent but not too heavy, ricotta cream was also good but I feel more would have been better. It's a small business, so prices reflect that but happy to recommend it for high quality bakes. Lovely service and quiet venue.

We’ve had the best cookies in ages!! The owner gave us a lovely ‘tour’ of the cookies and helped us choose two we’d like. They are SO GOOD. The cafe space is absolutely gorgeous too, every detail is tastefully designed & presented. We also enjoyed our coffee and matcha. Definitely will come back again!

I just enjoyed a fantastic cup of coffee at Cöödie! This place boasts plenty of seating and reliable Wi-Fi, creating a perfect haven for relaxation. The atmosphere is wonderfully chill, complemented by soothing music that never intrudes on your thoughts. While I didn’t sample the cookies, they looked absolutely delicious, and the open kitchen lets you watch them being made by hand – a delightful sight! The host/barista was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and clearly talented at their craft. The walls are adorned with diverse artwork, making it worth your while to take a closer look. I’ll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area!

A unique spot in Peckham, the coffee was lovely, and the cookie (pistachio and lime) was tasty, though not very fresh, but I still liked it. The only thing that really spoiled my visit was when the gentleman at the counter told me, (we don’t allow laptops during the weekends) I noticed, however, that someone else was sitting with a coffee and using their laptop, and the place was not that full, which was a bit disappointing. He also asked me to sit at the back, even though I was planning to sit upstairs. I had gone there full of excitement to try the place, but overall, the experience wasn’t great this time. I’ll come back again though, I don’t like to judge based on just one visit.

Cöödie is a minimalist and chic cookie shop with lovely staff. I got a cortado and an olive oil, date (and fudge - memory hazy) cookie which I may just say was the best cookie I've ever had. I'm excited to go back to try the other flavours such as the sobrasada and mahon cheese one!

Very nice and welcoming place! Coffee is a top notch, cookies are their specialty and they totally deserve 5 stars. Also they have some toasts, and focaccia if you want something savoury
