My wife and I were at the 'COOK ASAKUSA KAPPABASHI' cook workshop in october 2019. This is a great and fun way to learn to make an easy Japanese meal! Yumi, the 'teacher', is a great person, friendly and funny, and she knows how to explain everything quite easily. The classes are also small, which is more fun, because everyone gets involved. You don't have to be a cook yourself, it's easy as that. After making the meal, of course you eat it together. A great moment to discuss travel plans, Japanese cooking, living, and so on. Too bad those 2hrs went by so quickly! A must do, if you are visiting the Asakusa area, or when in Tokyo. The studio is easy to reach by public transport.

Thank you so much Yumi for an amazing experience. I can't wait to make onigiri for our guest in our garden cafe. I ate one of the best omelet in my life and very tasty onigiri. In our class we was introduced to typical Japanese snack food and dishes to have every day. Onigiri, miso soup and japanese omelet. Onigiri is a fun dish to serve and very tasty.

Enjoyed an afternoon making takoyaki in December 2019 and chatting with Yumi and others as we cooked. Recommended for a visit while wandering around Kappabashi and near-by Senso-ji temple!

This class was a LOT of fun. Got to try all different types of flavors I wouldn't have normally tried and really got to experiment making different Onigiris. Also made some other foods that were great. Recommend signing up for a class here.
