This store has EVERYTHING. Amazing clothes. Beautiful jewelry. Eccentric accessories. Literally everything is so cool and it feels uniquely curated. Plus the lady that runs the shop is so nice and beautiful. Above all everything is AFFORDABLE. Nothing felt overpriced or manufactured. I love this place and highly recommend it

What an awesome gem in Petworth! I have been following Cookie Wear for years and finally made it to her boutique. She has so many beautifully handcrafted one-of-a-kind pieces, and very creative T-shirts, jeans, jackets, etc! You must come and check her out and find a beautifully unique item or items that will turn heads or a lovely unique piece to complement your outfit. The prices are very reasonable and the Customer Service is outstanding. I have to go back next week to see what's new!

I stumbled up on this place. My daughter saw the hello kitty painting on the building and asked to go in. We went in not knowing what to expect. I actually wasn't planning to buy anything. We received a warm welcome at the front entrance and somewhat of an introduction to what was available for purchase. I started to browse and the kids went their separate ways out of curiosity. There were a lot of odds and ends in every corner of the store. You have to be selective and have a good eye. I was able to quickly spot some cool items. When it was time to pay, I was a little taken aback at the total for what I had. Prices weren't listed and I was just going with vibes lol. You pay via zelle, Venmo, or cashapp. All in all I'm happy with my items and happy to support a black owned business.They also offered my two kids a free treat as we were leaving (thank you!). I would definitely recommend you take a look.

A GREAT SHOP in a NEW LOCATION!!! Right in the heart of the buzzing HYATTSVILLE art district, COOKIE WEAR provides something for EVERYONE!! It's a hip, urban chic clothing store that also provides a fun atmosphere and an eclectic assortment of clothing, accessories, and Knick knacks while supporting creativity and the arts! It even has an creator owned skateboard designs by C-KRUSH!!! I love the location and the shop! It's one of the new places to be! The Owner Ms Michelle and Operator Candace are excellent!!! I support Small Business and so should you! Thank you guys for everything!!! Check them out!!!!

Talk about finding a lil gem in the heart of Petworth!! Don't know how I missed it all these times I went to Georgia/Petworth Station or Sala Thai (well actually I do they just opened a few weeks ago) but Cookie Wear was a pleasant surprise. As soon I as walked in the space time continuum opened up and I was back in my golden years in NYC (1980's), with HALL & OATS videos on the plasma, vintage painted luggage (LOVED the one of Disco Diva Donna Summers), he break dancing original GI Joe doll..... or was I back in London at a neat lil shop n Camden?!?! Either way I LOVED everything from the bags to the clothes, the jewelry and best of the staff were courteous and really chill. If you are looking for a quirky statement accessory, fun gift for that friend that lives OUTSIDE the BOX, cool urban flare for your home or you're just the urban artsy type, you must check out Cookie Wear.

Love love love this store!!! So many unique and unusual and handmade items. I wish I had more time to browse but had to catch a train to Philadelphia. We were her on vacation from Tucson, Az. I was sad to leave.

What an adorable boutique right next to the metro! Not only does Cookie Wear carry their own designs, but they also sell clothing and accessories made by other Washington, DC-based designers. In addition to fashion, they carry fun kitschy gifts, jewelry, kids items, soaps/body butter, and even cool custom-madeluggage. The owner and sales associates are super friendly, too.
