"Fancy diving into the world of wild bluefin tuna? In this charming restaurant with a contemporary atmosphere, everything is centred around it and its traditional carving (the ‘ronqueo’), the fishing work involved in catching it (they have their own tuna trap, called Petaca Chico) and the specific characteristics of each cut (Morrillo, Carrillera, Parpatana, Ventresca, Papada, etc.). The menu, which is quite extensive, is structured into suggestive sections: Ñam Ñam, Todo al rojo, Sushiman, Puristas del atún, Platos con chispa, Nuestras carnes..." - Michelin Inspector

The tuna steak and the pulpo were outstanding dishes and worth it to come and eat. All the rest was a bit underwhelming for that price point. It felt a bit forced to include the tuna in every dish. I get that the tuna is supposed to be the star but most of the time it wasn't. Nothing tasted bad and it was well prepared but not worth it. As mentioned, the tuna steak was one of the best I had but items like the croquettes , bone marrow with tuna or the Bolognese were not great. 191 euro

We got here because our favourite atún rojo restaurant in Zahora was fully booked. Definetely no punishment: if you are a bluefin tuna lover and don’t mind eating in a high end restaurant, this has to be on your list. We had the morillo and the parpatane, what a joy, it melted on our tongue. Also be sure to try the jamón del mar, cut for you in sight in the restaurant by a guy who stands next to it all night, it is really next level. Though this is a high end restaurant, prices were still reasonable. The atmosphere is like you expect: a bit formal. Comfortable seats and very attentive professional service.

Amazing tuna dishes. We loved the Jamón del Mar and the tuna sirloin. Everything was beautifully presented!

Very nice dining experience. The tuna was obviously the star of the show but the salads and desserts were also wonderful. The waiter was very good at recommended wine pairings and providing us assistance despite our poor Spanish. Would highly recommend. The menu is on the pricier side, but it is well worth it for the quality of tuna you receive here.

One of the best restaurants in Spain that I've seen. Highly recommended “Parpatana de atún rojo sobre arroz seco”- dish for one person, but how delicious it is. Place for taste flavors, but not for overeat.

Overall an amazing experience. Been twice in a single week, was lucky enough to try the ronqueo experience with the wine pairing.

A gastronomic temple dedicated to the bluefin tuna (atún roja) that the region is famous for. Very different to most of the other restaurants in Conil de la Frontera and feels contemporary. Definately worth visiting a few times to work through the menu.
