"Even in a city increasingly investing in cafes, Cooking Mamma offers an unparalleled combination of delicious baked goods and top-notch specialty coffee. Housed in a former home in the San Francisco neighborhood, the concrete interior makes for a surprisingly inviting spot for brunch or a coffee break. The team’s dedication is clear in options like beans from producer Ninety Plus, which the cafe preserves in a chilled cylinder before brewing. Pair your cup with a pistachio croissant, or go big with the pork belly toast or roast beef sandwich, which comes with the cafe’s famed Parmesan truffle fries." - Jorge Chanis, Rafael Tonon

Cute shop with good service but I wasn’t blown away by the food. Pistachio croissant: very good but a little too sweet for me. The cream was good. It was the coat of sugar on top that was too much French toast: the toast was soft but the flavors were ok. The fruit on top frozen and acidic. I didn’t even finish Arugula and pumpkin salad: generous portion but it was simple and not too flavorful. It was perhaps missing a good dressing They seem busy so maybe I’ll try other items next time

This casual restaurant offers original sandwiches, salads and some entrees, such as Corn Ribs, Honey Mustard Fried Chicken Sandwich as well as the Roast Beef. Service is a little slow but cordial. Interesting visit!

Nueva y moderna. Venden cosas q están de moda. Interesting Kimchi brioche but not worth trying twice. The salad was the best among all. Not happy with their reservation system and management of the tables.

We had brunch on a saturday with my wife. We ordered: truffle potatoes, roastbeef sandwich, dark choc cookie, pistacho donut, and latte. The food was a 5/5, as well the service. I would go again :)

My wife and I absolutely enjoy Cookingmama Bakery! It's one of those rare spots in Panama where we truly relish our brunch experience. The sourdough bread they offer is unparalleled, and their ingredients are top-notch. Not to mention, the service is always excellent. Today, we had the pleasure of trying their unexpected sandwiches called "Cheese and Kimchi," and they were absolutely fantastic! We particularly loved that the sandwiches are served on their homemade brioche bread—a delightful treat that we're eagerly awaiting them to start selling. If you're in the area, this bakery is a must-visit.
