I always walk by this place on my way to Pier 17 so thought I’d give it a try. I got the Montauk, one of the signature sips, but replaced it with a diet Dr Pepper. I thought it tasted good but pricey for a soda. I’m sure soda lovers would love it but wasn’t my cup of tea especially with all the odd mixes.

I stopped by the Seaport location today and just wanted to say how much I appreciate the interaction with T. They were so understanding since we’re not from around here and super patient. Hopeful we see him before we go back

Rude staff!!! I see why this place gets no business. The girl was on her phone and acted like she didn’t want to take my order. She barely even looked up or acknowledged me at all. I will never go here again. I don’t support businesses with rude staff when i’m spending my hard earned money on overpriced drinks. It was very hot that day but i decided to go somewhere else instead because i also saw her not using gloves to make the drinks and touching her phone and the register… no thanks!

Google
fun novel thing to try but wouldn’t go out of my way. preferred the lemonade & tea drink to the pepsi with syrup and cream

Always friendly and fast and you get points towards free drinks if you use their app. If you like soda, then you’ll like this place. My favorite is the Newport and the Dirty Dirty.

Yelp
Any time I'm remotely near South Street Seaport, I'll make a detour over to Cool Sips. I grew up on Sonic and have recently jumped on the dirty soda trend, so I was excited to find this soda shop. My go-to is the Dirty Dirty (Dr Pepper, coconut, lime, and half & half), but I get it with Diet Dr Pepper. I get it almost every time, but I've been trying to branch out and try new combos. The last time I got the Nags Head (root beer with toasted marshmallow and brown sugar boba). I added a little cream to it, and it was SO good! I wasn't sure how I'd feel about boba with soda, but it turned out to be such a good combo. I have only two "complaints" about Cool Sips. One, they don't have a large size drink. They only have a 20 oz. and 24 oz. Us soda girlies could knock back a 32 oz, easily. Two, they don't have Diet Coke. I love Diet Dr Pepper, so I don't mind too much, but I do like to mix it up with a Diet Coke sometimes. Oh, and I guess I have a third complaint: I wish they had a location closer to my house! Cool Sips, Harlem next??

Yelp
What a blast. Exceeded my expectations. The combos are endless, delicious and fun. Great staff. The manager daily was great. I highly recommend trying. I roederd the dirty dirty, Sabrina carpenter short n sweet, Hagshead, cannon, Dewey, and the coffee was strong. The pretzel crossaint barrel was buttery, salty and flaky.

Yelp
I ordered the Montauk with Brown Sugar Boba. This was my first time at Cool Sips, and I was surprised by how good my order was. I eyed a few different flavors, so would I go out of my way to stop by again? I think so. The boba is more reminiscent of jelly or popping boba than traditional tapioca boba in my opinion. It wasn't the boba I was expecting, but it was good. I ordered on the tablet at the desk, which was quick and convenient. There were a few groups that stopped by, but the wait for my order was quick, barely 5 minutes, on a Friday evening. This is very much a to-go spot, so it was quiet and in a non-crowded area.

Yelp
An interesting menu for sure / i thought it was a bubble tea location but it's actually a cold drink shop. The recipes were a bit out of my normal zone of food preferences but i tried the one that was the least crazy and it was okay. I do feel that the mixes here are not for me so if you're outlandish this may be a refresher spot for you.

Yelp
I am obsessed with the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and I am very sad that we don't have a Swig here in NYC. However, one day I was cruising on Tik Tok and saw someone saying we had a soda shop in NYC - low and behold we do! At first, I didn't go because they only had diet Pepsi and I can't stand Pepsi. They now have diet dr pepper though and I couldn't be happier. I do think that they should get diet versions of all the sodas they have, and definitely get diet coke. I got the dirty dirty with diet dr pepper. It was really good tasted kind of like an ice cream soda. My one other suggestion is that they get sugar free creamers as well - Coffeemate makes a really good coconut creme zero sugar that goes great as I make these at home sometimes myself.

Yelp
super yummy and i did a pickup order through uber eats, tasted refreshing too! i hope they add a few "hot sips" for the winter time especially because that location is by the water ? i'd love to see a dirty hot chocolate type of drink ? cant wait to go back, i'd love to share more suggestions

Yelp
Drinks: 1 Decor: 2 Service: 3 Came here on opening day. DEWEY Lemonade, Mango, Pineapple, Mango Jellies ~1/5. Drink was way too sweet, and it was mostly just soda or tea with syrups. Only drank about half before throwing it away. Would not come back.

Yelp
P-Town (Starry Lemon-Lime, Blue Raspberry, Watermelon): 9/10 Kiawah (Re-Fuel Energy Drink, Watermelon, Sweet Cream): 6/10 Fulong (Sweet Tea, Sweet Cream): 5/10 Newport (Pepsi, Peach, Vanilla Cream): 4/10 LBI (Root Beer, Caramel, Vanilla Cream): 3/10 Rockaway (Club Soda, Chocolate, Vanilla Cream): 2.9/10 The wait wasn't too bad opening day (~30 minutes) & drinks were made pretty quickly (under 5 min). Cashier was not rude. The store does not have an indoor area. MY 4 STAR RATING REFLECTS MY INTERACTIONS With THE STAFF, NOT MY OPINION OF THE TASTE OF THE BEVERAGES. Overall, I feel that the pricing is disproportionate to the quality of beverages. I also noticed many flies already swarming the store on it's 3rd day of being open. Kiawah just tastes like strongly carbonated soda; the watermelon taste is not overwhelming but it is very slightly sour. Fulong wasn't awful, I guess I was just expecting it to taste like milk tea but it falls short. If you've ever had McDonald's sweet tea it tastes exactly like that. P-town tastes like blue raspberry sprite. LBI tastes like root beer but I'm not a fan of root beer in general so my rating may be biased. Rockaway just isn't good; the chocolate flavor just doesn't fit with the rest of the drink leaving a bad aftertaste. Newport isn't very good either for the same reason; the peach flavor just doesn't incorporate well with the other flavors.

Yelp
I finished a stressful task at work and decided to reward myself with a drink. My coworker told me about Cool Sips and I wanted to check it out. The girl working there was very sweet and kind and helped me choose my drink. I ultimately decided on the Montauk, I got it with diet Dr Pepper and that made me less guilty haha. It was good, but I wished there was more cream, it didn't taste like anything special. I couldn't taste the cream at all.
