Amazing place. Tiny, chic and friendly. I literally called 8 stores in NYC about any available Chartreuse knowing it was a rare find. Most stores copped and attitude: "check our website!", " Don't you know that's impossible to get right now" or " I've heard that there might be a store in Brooklyn that may have it, but you're crazy if you think can get it on the island." Well the staff in this tiny shop could not have been more friendly or personable. She said: "For sure, we've got a 375ml green and a 750ml yellow but there's a fantastic new local comparable concoction Faccia Brutto Centerbe that you have to try!". I made it there pronto. She was amicable and unpretentious. I bought all 3. She said let me know about your taste test. Well the Centerbe was close but as my wife described the Green Chartreuse was "thicker and stickier" (probably the honey) and has a 55%ABV vs the 45%ABV but it was close and would easily serve as a good substitute minus the possible Wormwood??????. This was one of the smallest, coolest shops with a great vibe and amazing customer service. Kudos!!!!

As a California transplant (I know, sorry), I was having trouble finding some of my favorite tequilas, so was glad to discover CW&S's extremely well-curated tequila selection front and center -unlike many other local stores I visited with very basic tequila selections relegated to a back corner. John Paul is extremely helpful and knowledgable and I'm sure his careful taste extends to other spirits as well. Glad they're close.

Great place for Wine & Spirits! The owner is very knowledgeable, fast service and great selection. I had a package ( gift ) sent and they were fast! I truly look forward to doing more business with them.

Thank you Cool Wine & Spirits! I stopped by this wine store to pick up a bottle for a friend’s bday/ graduations and the service was beyond EXCELLENT! They picked out a nice bottle of bubbly for me and..... I left my phone there, which never happens to me but they legit messaged some of my incoming messages to let my friends know I left my phone behind!!! A few hours later I was able to stop by and pick up my phone and I was beyond grateful at the efforts they made to get me my phone back and how they helped me pick out a nice bottle of Prosecco!!!!

Inconspicuous place, almost walked past it! The staff really know their wines, and recommended bottles that I would never have thought to try! And not uber expensive for a nice bottle. Thanks!

Live close by and was super excited for a place to open in Tribeca with fun natural wines... Went in tonight and received the worst customer service that I've received thus far and I've been in NY for 10+ years. Let me break it all down... 1. I walk in and see 3 employees in there, ask if they work there and they said "barely" - okay was just looking for some help? 2. Asked about prices on a couple wines in the fridge.. the response "you can search around and find out" 3. Proceeded to ask if they had Lambrusco... response was "maybe" 4. Humiliated me about my wine choice - when asking if they had a chilled red... the response was IDK that and EW. If you're looking for a wine store where you can get recommendations or at least an enjoyable experience... look elsewhere. Been to a lot of great shops in New York and this ranks way below the rest. What a disappointment for this neighborhood. Hope they can figure this out or at least get proper training in being a hospital human being. Also as an FYI I've never written a yelp review. I had such a bad experience that I needed to warn my fellow New Yorkers.

They were incredibly rude and not helpful. I was told my taste in wine was "not good". That's not what I'm looking for when I go purchase- just looking for recommendations based on what I do like. Won't return.

I highly recommend this store. I did a delivery order on their website. They were out of one of the wines so they called me to suggest another if I approved. They sent confirmation of the order immediately. And delivery was right on time.

Really love this wine shop! They have a great selection and the shop owner is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Great selection, and very knowledgeable staff. I've gone there a couple of times, gotten a couple of recommendations from different staff members and everything has been fantastic. Will be coming back for sure!
