CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha

We had an amazing stay at CoolRooms Palacio Atocha in November. We arrived early morning after a 10 hour flight and were able to check in immediately. The room #12 was gorgeous. Super spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We asked for a quiet room and we got it! Nights were super relaxing. They sent us a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries on the first evening as we were celebrating our anniversary. Reception staff was super helpful and cleaning services were also great. Housekeeping always came while we were out in the morning and we had a clean and neat room whenever we stopped by mid day to rest a bit.|We didn’t include breakfast in our stay as it is too pricey but not different from other hotels we were considering. We had breakfast once and it was good but we preferred to keep exploring the very good breakfast options nearby. The hotel location is great. Slightly off the very busy areas but still walking distance from most attractions. We loved our stay and definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel from 20–22 December during our time in Madrid and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We booked a Junior Suite, which was absolutely stunning: very spacious, beautifully designed, and perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. The room felt both luxurious and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a full day in the city. What truly stood out was the staff. Every single interaction was marked by genuine friendliness, professionalism, and a warm willingness to help. You immediately feel welcome and well taken care of. The food was excellent, and the breakfast deserves special mention. The selection was generous, high-quality, and beautifully presented—one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in a long time. Overall, a fantastic stay in every respect. Highly recommended, and without any doubt, this will be our first choice again when we return to Madrid.

This small boutique hotel is fantastic. It is beautiful yet comfortable, historic yet with all the modern amenities. The location is in a neighbourhood that is central. The staff are incredibly lovely people that are warm and helpful in every possible way. The room was so quiet I slept for 10 hours and woke up completely disoriented. I love the Nespresso machine for a morning coffee. When I retuned to the room in the evening there was a chocolate on my pillow, slippers by the bed on a crisp white sheet and then heavenly Dubai chocolates under a glass enclosure with a hand written note. The toiletries are Molton Brown which is exquisite and made of glass. The room was spotless and the showers were with perfect water pressure and temperature. I was only sorry I was there in January as the pool area looks divine also. Next time will come in summer. This hotel is a 10/10 on every little thing.

Exceptional! I am not one to usually review hotels, but my stay was so exceptional i couldn't waste a minute not writing a review to really thank the staff to making my 1st anniversary a very memorable one. Staff: The moment I arrived the hotel the staff were very attentive and welcoming to details. They were kind enough to take note of the occasion and went the extra mile with the recommendations to align with it. Ambience/Hotel Vibe: this is where this hotel shines, it's very full of character as it's a fairly recent renovated/repurposed palace without a compromise in elegance. Location: 25 minutes from the airport, 15 from the main train station, and in a very central location in the city super close to many restaurants, coffee shops, and attractions. One of the best hotels we have stayed at across all brands. Location was great, close enough to everything. Rooms were large, they provided a crib, welcome gifts. Service was better than any 4/5 star hotel we have stayed at. Staff went above and beyond, personalized notes, recomendations for everything needed. One of those hotels where every detail is thought of. Will definitely stay here when going to Madrid

This is such a beautiful hotel, prime location, extraordinary staff in the hotel and the restaurant! Where to start? My sister and daughter stayed at other four star hotels in Madrid and we would compare spots. ||First, the staff always went the extra step here. Remembering names, assisting in any way possible, attentive to detail and always friendly and engaging if we wanted any suggestions. Even the turndown staff!||The room was spectacular! We backed onto the courtyard and it was quiet. The bedding, mattress, pillows, towels, toiletries, furniture - all lovely and luxurious. ||The location was walking distance from museums, restaurants, markets, shopping! We only used a taxi to the airport.||The restaurant was delicious! We had dinner, drinks, breakfast and again - fantastic staff and service! Just so thoughtful and kind. ||I hope if you’re fortunate enough to be visiting Madrid, book a room at Cool Rooms Palacio Atocha. Order what I considered the VERY BEST SANGRIA (my research will be published shortly;) in Madrid at the restaurant and enjoy what I consider the best hotel experience I have had in a very long while. ||Thanks so much to everyone! Cool Rooms Palacio de Atocha in Madrid was an exquisite experience for my family and me . The palace turned hotel is charming and romantically decorated. I loved being able to walk to different parts of city . Restaurants, coffee shops and variety of shopping are available near hotel. I enjoyed the different Christmas markets near hotel . Tourist attractions are easily within walking distance . Mostly, I was touched by the warm and gracious nature of the hotel staff. Abel, Domingo and Joel made our stay ever so special. They just want to make you happy . I was sad to say goodbye . And , don’t miss their restaurant. In fact , don’t miss staying here.

If I could have rated this hotel as 6 stars, I would have done. The hotel was fantastic, the location brilliant, the rooms so comfortable and complete with everything we could possibly need. By far the greatest attribute of the hotel were the staff. They were exceptional, warm, friendly and so willing to help make our stay in Madrid perfect. Coolrooms Madrid gets my highest accolades 🥇
