CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha

Located in a terrific location for exploring the city, this hotel ticked every box for us. Our junior suite was gigantic, well appointed and comfortable. We loved the extra sitting space, the excellent water pressure and bathing amenities, and the very comfortable bed. What we loved even more was the staff who were incredibly thoughtful and attentive without being ostentatious or fussy and the way they truly tried to make our romantic stay as wonderful as possible (special thanks to Marta and Abel who were each amazing). Service began days before our visit when the hotel inquired by email as to preferences and any special requests we might have. When we asked if the room might be made ready early because of a redeye flight arrival in early am and special event that evening, they made that early check-in and all important shower and nap possible. We had asked for a romantic, quiet and upper floor room and got exactly that. We made and changed dinner reservations through their concierge multiple times - no problem. Checkin was thoughtful with water, luggage assistance, maps of the city and welcome advice on our plans ably and warmly given. Room service was efficient and spotless. The customer desk/lobby was friendly and welcomed our questions at all times of day and night. The only possible improvement I can think of is that our bathroom on the 4th floor with its tilted ceiling was a little dark and could use some additional light above the dressing table. Otherwise this was absolute perfection for us, and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

What a great place to stay for a relaxing vacation. Staff are amazing, rooms are huge with amazing amenities. Beds are most comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty & staff for breakfast are super friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants a super friendly most comfortable hotel close to everything. Try the Crepe place down the street, amazing!! In closing, I would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Madrid. My wife and I adored it. Thank you CoolRooms

Fantastic stay! Our room was HUGE, the hotel beautiful and cozy, everyone was super friendly and helpful. So pleased we booked for our anniversary, was so romantic and our room had sooooo many things ubrella, steamer, adapters, pretty much anything you might need. they also were so kind and gave us strawberries and champagne and a room upgrade for our anniversary. Would def say again!

Special thanks to Alvaro for our room upgrade, cava, and chocolate strawberries. what a special stay thank you! our room super romantic SO spacious we had two check in and carry on luggage and the fit perfectly in a corner leaving so much room to walk around in our room. our bathroom had double showers, every toiletry you can think of. umbrellas, steamer, iron, curling iron for the hair, adapters, chargers they have it all. our little balcony overlooking the pool was magical. will be back in summer to try the pool! we slept with the balcony food ajar and the sound of the running water in the pool was so soothing. one bloc from plaza sant ana- in a very good location walkable to all. thanks for everything!

WHAT a hotel! This was such a special experience. Vibes and style are amazing, the room was even better than we could have imagined, location was top, and best of all: the service. Every single person we interacted with, from the front desk crew to the restaurant staff to the turndown service was incredibly friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. Skip the big chains - stay at this cosy, friendly gorgeous place!

I stayed in a suite at CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha, and it was absolutely exceptional. The room was clean, stylish, and serene—designed with the kind of quiet luxury that makes you instantly relax the moment you walk in. The location was also incredibly convenient and walkable to much of what central Madrid has to offer.||The staff was incredible start to finish. They helped me with my bags, arranged a dinner reservation on my behalf, and consistently went above and beyond in ways that made the entire stay feel personal and memorable.||I’ve stayed at nearly ten different hotels this year, and this was by far my favorite—and a great deal at that. I truly can’t recommend this hotel enough. Book it already!

We have stayed at Cool Rooms in Madrid twice now and it is truly an amazing property. The rooms are beautiful and well-appointed, with lots of space and extra touches. The location is very central to all that Madrid has to offer. The restaurant and other amenities are also wonderful. What truly sets it apart is the staff - everybody goes above and beyond to ensure each guest is well cared for. Marta ensured a smooth check in, answered our questions and allowed us to practice our Spanish. Cristobal came to our room to help us access a futbol game in our room. And everybody else was equally as wonderful. We’ve stayed other places in Madrid, but will be loyal to Cool Rooms from now on. If only we could return more than once per year!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Large comfortable room with many elegant touches. Great location. Will definitely stay there again when in Madrid. Marmen Diaz and his team went above and beyond beyond to make our stay a great experience.
