CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha

By far one of our Favorite Hotels in Madrid. Do not let the name of the hotel fool you. The rooms are spacious and super high quality, clean and better than some of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in. All with luxurious touches and every detail you need for a great stay. We were with our son and the suite is spacious and super comfortable with a great clean design. The service from the front desk to the entire staff is amazing. They provided our son with a home-made cookie- and it is the little items like fresh water and treats while checking into the hotel. The food-inhouse- poolside and room service is top notch. Some of the best croquettes in Spain we had poolside. The small pool in the rear is a mini retreat from the Madrid summer heat. The location is also great to get to Plaza Sanatan or Plaza Major with so many great restaurants and tapas bars all nearby. The entire staff is so kind and we love this hotel. Five star ***** hotel in my opinion. Savvy traveler from NYC.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at!! Its hard to know where to start. The service and the staff is amazing. The room was extravagant and soo pretty. The extra ammenities in the room are top notch. The hotel itself is beautiful. The pool area is so nice and i loved the jazz vibes and the music. Honestly so sad to leave this hotel and I will be coming back to madrid just to stay here again. ||Thank you to the staff for immaculate service 🥹💛

We are a family of 3 (8 year old child), and we all absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms were incredibly spacious, the bathroom was beautiful and shower was huge, the bed was so comfortable. The staff was amazing, everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel was perfectly located within walking distance to all the major attractions (and also to the subway if you prefer not to walk). Since we visited in July, we did our sightseeing all day, then relaxed by the pool in the late afternoon and it was absolutely perfect. We were so happy to have the pool since the days were so hot and tiring. The pool was not ever crowded and we were able to get a seat every day. We will definitely be staying here again! This was one of our best hotel experiences yet!

It really is an updated palace. About 35 rooms with a mix of Old World charm and contemporary vibes that appeals to all ages. Our Jr Suite was huge and filled with art books to peruse. There were two sets of shower heads and controls so two can shower together, each setting their own temperature and force of spray. There is a good restaurant, a cozy bar--even a swimming pool. Very good value and conveniently located.

We had a beautiful very large and exquisitely appointed suite. Much larger than you would expect in madrid. Location was amazing just walking distance to the best of madrid. The service was excellent. Poolside bar was fantastic also. No complaints at all. Outstanding hotel experience. Would highly recommend!

Superb hotel with lovely personnel. A five star hotel in any other city, we were welcomed with tips on where to eat, and how to make the most of two days in the city. Highly recommend upgrading for a little more to a premium room; for a little extra, the rooms are spacious with a lounge. Pool is a highlight in the warmer months with relaxed service and excellent selection of drinks and food.

I cannot say enough good things about CoolRooms Madrid! We had booked an Airbnb that unfortunately did not have properly functioning AC. We booked CoolRooms last minute, and it saved our trip. We booked a two bedroom suite. It was spacious and beautiful without being stuffy. The beds and then linens were incredibly comfortable. The pool, although petite, was perfect for a quick plunge to cool down and play with our 2 year old. The food was solid. Most importantly, the service was excellent! Every person we interacted with was very kind and helpful. They even set up a tiny tent in the room for our child and gifted him a teddy bear which days later he continues to hold. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We will be back 🤩

This is one of the most beautiful hotel properties that we have ever experienced. The common areas are inviting and relaxing, the pool is incredibly refreshing, all the staff are attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be back again!!
