I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place earned it—in the worst way possible. Came for wine and live music. Left disgusted. The wine? Undrinkable. Sour, warm, overpriced—tasted like fermented regret.. The open mic? A total disaster. One artist started sharing thoughtful opinions during his set—nothing offensive, just real. The host, instead of handling it like an adult, stood in the back and flipped him off in front of everyone. Seriously. A grown man running a “community” event flipping off an artist for speaking. That told me everything I needed to know. This place doesn’t care about freedom, or respect. Just fragile egos and bad wine. Never going back. And I’ll tell everyone I know to stay far away.

The staff is super nice! Also, buy the chocolate. It is expensive but so much better than i was expecting.

Great place to relax & hear live music 7 nights a week + wknd. days. Kid & dog friendly. BYO food no problem. Also new one in downtown Vista.

If you are looking for a wine club/membership, or a tap room to have some amazing wine, Coombers is it! Their membership includes a monthly wine pick up party with complimentary wine pours, music, a complimentary ticket to a raffle(amazing prizes), available food/snacks to purchase. The Coombers make you feel like family anmd supports small businesses and the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. Did I mention the wine! The wine rotates so there’s always something new to try. The member monthly free glasses are great for sharing with friends. We love to just come to coombers have our glass of wine and chill in the open airy space. Good OCEANSIDE vibes always.

Great new place to enjoy after a long day. A welcome sight to Downtown Oceanside. Skip the owner and his friendly staff are very welcoming and grateful to each customer. All the details put into this place, will keep you looking around to only find something new to admire....not to mention the wine and the choices are great. We will be back again and again. Wine was good and Lisa was very pleasant and an absolute sweet heart. So glad we stopped in. The live music was cool, they just went with the vibe it was an enjoyable experience.

I'm writing this review on behalf of Zoe Guitars, a local business in Oceanside. My husband builds high end, hand crafted acoustic guitars and we contacted Coomber Craft Wines to see if we could "showcase" the guitars and sponsor a night of music. The general manager was very helpful and accommodating with the request and thought it was a great idea to have two local businesses partner together. On Friday, June 3rd, we set up a beautiful display of several Zoe guitars on the Coomber stage. Encinitas musician, Cody Carter, performed two sets of contemporary country music, including a few original songs, playing a gorgeous Zoe guitar, of course! Cody said that he enjoyed playing to an audience that both listened to and appreciated his music. The homemade pizza was absolutely delicious . . . I think we ordered four! Also, the wine was wonderful . . . my favorite was the pinot noir! The servers were super friendly and helpful! The back patio is such a great place to hang out and listen to live music, which they have every night of the week! I highly recommend Coomber Craft Wines! We love it so much, we are going to join their wine club!

Fantastic happy hour wine tasting at Coomber craft wines. Each of us enjoyed our selection and we agreed to buy a couple bottles of Pinot Noir which two of us enjoyed from the tasting. The white drinkers came over to the dark side for our dinner later that evening Our waitress Lori was amazing and very informative when we had wine questions. We are not experts so looking for some education. Great start to a night for a little happy hour.

Delicious wines, good vibes and friendly servers. The bartenders were friendly and very knowledgeable. The wine recommendations were on point. This is our second time here and both experiences were amazing.

Our party of 10 reserved a tasting well in advance. When we arrived, there were no tables/seats arranged for a party of 10 to sit together and the people who hosted us wound up doing it themselves. The person who was working there made no effort to assist. We were the only patrons there so it wasn't like they were busy. The seating here is extremely uncomfortable and not conducive to a relaxing environment. Several in our party purchased flights that were served with an uneven pour level in every glass. This place got it all wrong and we won't be back.

Good vibes and excellent service what more can I say? Okay, wine is delicious!!! I've lived in Oceanside since 1995 and it has stepped up!! The service at Coombers is phenomenal. Ruth and Sabra are so wonderful. Chuck told us he will be working here... so we are members!! Woohoo!!!! The energy here is divine... feel the Ocean Breeze! You can order food in too and there is live music everydayyy at 6 pm. I'm listening to live music right now.. nice! So , come experience the lovely atmosphere and scrumptious Vino and btw, they serve beer too! See you soon!

Just visited Coombers brand new location in Downtown Vista: What an amazing place! The ambiance is great, and the location in Downtown/Old Town Vista is unbeatable. Corner lot with great street frontage and a back patio that is going to draw in passers-by with the outdoor stage and daily/nightly music. Even though tonight was a soft opening, there was a great crowd there. This place is gonna kill it! The address is 344 Main St., Vista, 92084.

Great little wine place in Downtown O'side! Went in on a Sunday with my laptop to do some work and watch some football, all while enjoying a tasting. There was an outlet built right into the bar, wifi worked great, and the service was exactly what you'd want. My favorite wine? Definitely try the Lemon Cake Chardonnay. If you're into the buttery whites, this is definitely the way to go. They also have some great community events throughout the week, and if you're hungry, they have menus for all the close-by places. I'll definitely be heading back soon.

This place has an easygoing environment. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and the folks at the bar looked like they were at home, so I knew I was--in the right place. I tried the white flight and was delighted. It was a very refreshing experience. The surfer girl chardonnay was my favorite.

This wine bar just opened in Vista and we were excited, although we don't drink alcohol we had been to a different location of theirs in Oceanside to see some jazz performed and, as I remember it, we able to get some food and a nonalcoholic beverage. This venue also has live music. So I checked it out one night. The decor is very nice with an open air patio and a covered bar. There wasn't much in the way of nonalcoholic beverages - Pellegrino sparkling water and some soda pop.the food to eat is packaged - cheese & crackers and hummus. These are kept in a case and you pick them out. These music, I noticed, would have been too loud to have a conversation. All that said, it IS a WINE BAR. If you like wine and music, don't listen to me! Go down and check it out yourself.

Great wine paired with amazing live music ! When we're in Oceanside we make sure to come to Coomber to complete the evening Make sure to call them first for types of music played , since nightly they have different but great live musicians . Mondays they have Enrique and the band for Latin dancing music and jazz in other days , etc . You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend this place , though they only serve wine .. they can order food for you from the nearby restaurants

This place is AMAZING, it has such a cute rustic vibe, the wine is delicious, the staff/service is friendly/quick, and also really informative. You can order food from the neighboring restaurants and bring it in which is really nice too. They're also SO dog friendly which is a huge plus. The wine club seems like a steal too! We will absolutely be back!

This is a nice place to visit with wine flights and music most nights. I haven't really ordered food here but friends have and no complaints. Looked like a nice bbq meal. No beer- wine only.

Great spot to go wine tasting! Unfortunately I wasn't able to due to all of the tannins. But the kombucha was tasty!!

I wanted to go to a wine bar while in Oceanside but the one I popped into at 5.10pm had just shut their wine tasting at 5pm. I find this place online (they serve till 9pm). I bought a flight of red and my partner got a flight of white. Both flights came with an information card. We took the wine to the back area where there were heaters and a live singer. The singer was very good. It was relaxing listening to her whilst sipping the wine. I normally drink wine from Northern California so it was nice to try wine from Southern California. The whites were okay but I enjoyed the red flight. I nice find.

Wow! What a great location and the back patio is the coolest spot! We almost didn't see the patio as we sat down at the bar! Our friends that have a locker with their own key are members! So they let us unlock their case and get 2 bottles out! The bar crew switched out our white for a chilled bottle and opened them Then built us 2 flights! What a tastebuds journey on the pallet it was! Took us from chilled buttery Chardonnay to a full body deep red! I just wished they came and shared with us the membership program! Maybe next visit! Since the Temecula hills are too hot to visit during August and September this was pure perfection! Thank you

A cozy little farm-themed spot offering a variety of wines and wood fired pizza. The staff are friendly and willing to let you sample suggested wines. My wife and I love the live music that is offered nightly. We will check out their Instagram before going out and if there's someone we want to see it's a great excuse to get out and be social! This business is pet friendly.

"Found" this little gem whilst driving home and actually scanning Mission versus going into autopilot. LOL Circled back to a parking spot over by NCTD Admin Bldg and hoofed it. Brenda was our wine guide and we immediately noticed member pricing. It didn't take long to decide on becoming members! Lol For $65-85/mo (dependent on which wines are selected by the house) you get: 1) 2 bottles of wine for home 2) 8 flights or glasses of wine (in bar)--only one per person per day due to state "laws" or what have you. These don't have a time frame like 2 per week or anything, it's a flat 8 per membership per month. So you can literally go in 8 days in a row should that tickle your fancy. 3) 15% off additional purchases 4) Member only events (I think she said every first Tuesday of the month) Not a bad deal honestly--especially if you take advantage of the 8 per month as that's an additional 2 bottles. 85/4=$21.25 per bottle. They don't accept digital pay as of yet, but Brenda said they're updating their system. Bring cards/cash until then. Hip little location, but chill vibe. More on the "elegant" wine bar side than say, industrial like Carruth in C'bad/Solana. It felt warm and inviting, which I enjoyed. On weekends there's a pizza dude in back and live music. They have a fridge of Boars head cheeses and meats, and also allow for outside food. Brenda mentioned there are 2 near by restaurants that will deliver as well. But if you wanna get super fancy, Dairy Queen is right across the street. LOL

We had our wedding there Oct 6th 2023. We loved the ambiance, it was intimate and everyone said you could feel the love in the air. Lisa, our savior, really came thru in a pinch. A caterer no showed She handled it like a pro, found the food, brought us in 2 chefs, and not a beat was skipped. Those are the people we want around, on the most important day of our lives. :+) Thank you Soooooooooooooo Much!

This was our first time at Coomber. The scheduled entertainment (Danny Gali) is what motivated us to come in. The Coomber staff was friendly and helped us navigate everything from seating to wine selections. We selected the red wine flight and ended up getting a couple glasses of wine based on our tasting and some BBQ food. Good stuff. The entertainment was exceptional. Wow!Danny is awesome! Played for three hours without a break. Our experience was very nice and we will certainly be back, especially if Danny is on the stage.

We came to enjoy a bottle of wine and music. Servers were very helpful and the music was good as well. Nice night to relax with family.

Saturday night, great night of wine, Holley Moley & football. We were all laughing and having a great time. We like this better than the animal shows. Brenda is the greatest !!!

This was not the main stop for my bday trip but it was close to the hotel my boyfriend and I were staying at so we went and I'm so glad we did. It was a great experience with amazing wines but the best thing was that the bartender/ sommelier was showing us what notes each wine had since we are trying to learn more about the art of wine

Came tonight, and the music was exceptional! There was a bassist and drummer that played every set, and man, oh man, were they good! The wine was delicious as well. Very nice place to visit on a Sunday afternoon to chill.

Nice place! We enjoyed the atmosphere and a few tastings. The music was late due to traffic issue but really a great venue! We need to return on a Friday or Sat when it's buzzing w people. We only tasted reds and we like bold jammy reds so rather picky quite frankly. Not bad over all. We did like the new red. a malbec. Bottle prices are high. You can bring your own food in so that helps the rating to a 4. Atmosphere and music add to my 4 rating.

We went and had dinner in Oceanside at one of our go to favorites The Rosewood Kitchen after dinner we heard some music playing across the street so we wandered over and lo and behold there was live music coming out of the Comber craft wine building. Of course live music during a pandemic I'm in after going inside we were told we could only stay for about a half-hour because all the tables were full 1/2 hours better than nothing we went in have a little bit to drink and we were privy to some of the best live music we have heard in a long time. After meeting and talking with some of the guests invited us over to their table so we were able to stay for 2 hours and had a great time and a great location in downtown Oceanside thank you Comber's craft wine for a great time and a great evening.......oh yes and some great wine.

Local wine bar that's been here a while. I was going to visit..but Covid. I joined the wine club online, super easy. There were no prices on wine club membership but I rolled the dice anyways! Robert was super friendly and was very enthusiastic about his job! We enjoyed the Red Flight and a Pinot Noir. Live music most nights. Nice outdoor space. Very dog friendly!

I can't believe we waited so long to check this place out! Absolutely loved everything about it! We came in shortly after they opened and stayed until the music stopped. Environment was cozy and they even brought out a dog bed for our pup. The price for the tasting was perfect for how many you get to try. We ordered a pizza since that is all they have to eat there, but it was delicious! You can order delivery or bring food in as well. I can't wait to go back!

Everytime I come here the service is phenomenal and the people behind the bar seemingly never forget a face! The wine is terrific and the ambiance is amazing often having live music and chill vibes. 10/10 would recommend!

My first time here was on a Wednesday evening. I thought it would be somewhat empty, but it was moderately busy, and a great time! The staff are very friendly, communicative and accommodating! The live band was very good! ...and I believe they do this weekly on Wednesdays, but they have The Pizza Guys making pizza in the back patio area. Best pizza I've ever had! You will NOT be disappointed! The crust is like no other, and believe me, I'm quite a pizza snob. I know the owners/operators put a lot of R&D into their crust (dough) and toppings, and THATs what makes the difference! Can't wait to be back... on a Wednesday

The service was amazing. Ruth was the best! She was very nice, and she made sure we were enjoying our time here. I end up doing a membership just because she was knowledgeable about the wine and the tasting. Ruth was amazing!

Stopped in for a tasting and was pleasantly surprised by the feel of this place! We had this adorable rustic back covered patio all to ourselves which provided a calm little spot to relax and enjoy actually being able to go out in public. The wine flight was lovely, offering 1oz tastes of 6 different wines for $15. We sampled the mixed flight and really enjoyed going from whites to reds... I need to gather info on their wine club. They allow you to "bring your own picnic"/order food from nearby restaurants as well; we will definitely be back again. Also excited to experience their live music that everyone is raving about!

Place is very inviting, will not disappoint, plenty of space indoors and outdoors. The live music makes it even better..

We were there on a Monday from 6-8 We were able to order food and have it delivered. They have good wine for sale And they make some wine too ! Great music and great atmosphere Dog and children friendly, right in downtown Oceanside!

We usually stop by here to see our friends, The Fay Brothers perform, so it was cool Paul Fay and his wife, Karen, returned the favor and supported my 3 songs. The staff were great and attentive, and the wine, as always, was perfect. Reynaldo is an awesome MC as well as guitarist. Get out there and support live local music and local produce!

What a little Diamond in the rough in Downtown Oceanside. Oceanside is starting a campaign against the homeless derelicts wondering around aimlessly and you can tell! Anyways, Coomber Wine delivers the "right stuff!" I immediately joined their Wine Club the first time I met friends there. They also joined. We had a wonderful time and I particularly enjoyed their Lemoncake Chard from the Russian River area. Like Carneros, the Russian River uses lactose to ferment the wine because they are so close to the ocean. It's what gives this Chard the buttery and oaky notes that I love. Our hostess Brenda was so helpful in making me understand the Wine Club and the "flights". Then the other night they had a Members Only dinner and I could have brought 6 guests to enjoy everything complimentary. WOW! Food was good, music and wine was great and the Staff was amazing and made you feel like a VIP. Sometimes I just want ONE glass of wine and this is my go to place. My BEST friend has been in the wine business for 40 years and is quite the Sommelier and I've learned a lot from him. I can't wait to bring him to Coomber, I'm pretty sure he will be impressed. I guess if you like overpriced wines this is your place to go went here once and just was a sheeshee fufu place like everyone inside this place though they were rich kind of attitude so me and my wife left immediately.

Love going to Coomber. We joined their wine club as well. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have live entertainment every night of the week. Wine club members get free flights/glasses each month plus a monthly member party. Would definitely recommend when you're in the area to stop by

We were lucky to experience this brand new wine bar and were extremely impressed with not only the decor but the wines. We started with their flight of whites and reds. Really liked the Reising and really liked the barrel Cabernet Prices were reasonable. The owners Skip and Maureen are very knowledgeable and friendly. There is a back patio where you can have a rather large group, 60+. No food but the location in downtown has many options near by.

First class wine tasting experience showcasing the highly rated wines of Coomber Family Ranch! We ordered a "flight" of wines which allowed us to try 6 different wines. I liked them all. This brand new wine bar is conveniently located in the center of town on Mission Ave where there are dining options to suite everyone's taste and plenty of public parking. This part of town is beautiful and the Pacific Ocean is only a few blocks away. If you don't want to drive, the Amtrak Surfliner has a stop nearby.

Manager Maureen & Assistant Manager Lisa offered me two bottles of wine & flight for signing up as member. Was surprised at the $114.28 + $86.59 charge for the two bottles of wine + one flight.....Of course we had to call for food delivery from restaurant across the street. This was very poor customer service environment, and they spent most of the time on the phone with other customers....The Nashville music was good but the room was very cold & empty...only one other table occupied. No heat lamps available. But the coldest part of the atmosphere was the attitude of Maureen & Lisa. Trying to resolve this issue & CANCEL this membership, but my card was charged after telling them I wanted to CANCEL.

WOW what a gem. I'm stunned I did not know this place existed, but you can bet, I, WE, WILL be a regular(s) now. Live music, HELL Yeah! Swingin Johnson's you rock! Coomber, The staff are so genuine, accommodating and knowledgeable, they alone are reason to return: Heidi, Ian and Anne Marie (I believe). On top of that, we really enjoyed the varietals. Let's not forget the ambiance. Damn! I almost don't want others to know. You bet we're returning. What a night. What a place. Yes!!!!

Fun music, great vibes, good pizza at the oven, and when we went, a band called Audio Perdisco was there with great blues music. Definitely recommend and will be coming back! Enjoyed the red wine taster and especially the red blend in it! Cheers!

It was my first time here but certainly not my last! Lisa made my experience so warm from the moment I sat down. I loved the wine and the piano karaoke night that I got to enjoy with it. Highly recommend this lovely spot!

Wonderful time tasting all of their wines. Robert was very knowledgeable about the wines. Great spot for a mellow afternoon with great wine.
