First things first, despite the name and somewhat of a theme, this place does not specialize in chicken. We probably should have asked about the name, but alas. The inside was semi swanky, but not full scale. Overall aesthics, swanky, but then there's a random poster from a car wash framed on the wall next to the restrooms, and a wall to wall up close and personal black and white photo of a cow, inside a place called Coop and a rooster in its logo, weird. The dress code was a mixed bag. Food was swanky, but not outrageously priced. The staff were all surprisingly polite, which i didnt expect from the looks of the place (I misjudged). My wife got the Hot Honey Glazed Salmon and I got the Ahi Tuna Steak over ginger rice noodles. Her food was all good, but there could have been more potatoes. She said it was delicious, but for some reason she tasted more of the glaze on the potatoes than the actual fish. The helping of hers wasnt much, but she was fufilled. My dish was fantastic, light, yet filling. The tuna was cooked nicely, flaky, yet firm and not at all dry. The noodles were especially tasty in their sauce. My helping was just right. They didn't stiff me, nor did I feel overly stuffed when I finished my plate. Just a welcomed sense of fulfillment. It's a nice little date night spot I'd say, just avoid eye contact with the cow.
