Cooperage has always been our favorite neighborhood family friendly brewery! Their brew speak for itself. The staff is friendly, upbeat, and courteous. The atmosphere is welcoming with plenty of seating indoor and outdoor with games for the kiddos and bomb food vendors! The art is always evolving and I love how they incorporate and promote local businesses. Their events are the best! Typically free, inviting, with awesome vendors and activities for all! Can’t say enough about one of our favorite places in Sonoma County!

Google
A warehouse brewery making pretty good use of the location. A variety of beers with rotating food trucks and games like an oversized Connect 4 setup creates a unique aspect. The bartenders were not in what I thought to be a super friendly or chipper mood, but they appeared to be efficient and knowledgeable. Quaint for a local meet-up spot.

Google
This unassuming brewery in Santa Rosa industrial neighborhood, is a hidden gem. The beer garden style seating invites you to pull up to a stool and try one of their cleverly named brews. Board games, food trucks, dogs and good music; what more could you ask for?!? The beer is excellent too. It's not a great date spot, because of how busy and loud the brewery can get. It is a great spot to enjoy a cold beer or buy some to go. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

Google
Fugedaboudit. Folks, hands down the best beer ever. My bride and I have been coming to this joint since it opened. It keeps getting better. If you don’t believe me check this out, the folks that work here have been here forever. I can’t say that about many places. Said folks…. Jess, Mern, Kaycee, Cal are all wonderful. You want a chill place where all are welcome with great beer this is your place.

Google
The best brewery ever!!! Definitely you feel that you are part of the family 😊 They are always smiley, helpful and friendly. The selection of the beers is huge and really tasty 😋 I can’t really express my feelings with the words. Thank you guys to provide us this great place to hang and sip beer.

Google
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Quick service and great beers. The staff made us feel like we were regulars even though it was our first time visiting. By far the biggest variety of games to play as well compared to most breweries we’ve been to. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Great beer. Food options vary each day of the week, but are always good. Tonight (Saturday) there was live music, a band called JOOSE, and they rocked the house with 90's music covers! I recommend checking this place out. 4 stars.

Google
Best brewery in Sonoma County. Always great options on tap. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food trucks. And best brewery cat ever. Family and pet friendly!!! Great events, music on Saturday, movie nights...

Yelp
Great beers on tap, and the bartenders are knowledgeable of the beers they have on tap for those of us who are not beer enthusiasts. They usually have outstanding food trucks on site as well
google avatar

Yelp
We've been here about a half dozen times, they have rotating food trucks and some great beer on tap. The ambiance is great, it's in a warehouse part of the city with lots of outdoor seating and music both live and pre recorded. We even had a trivia one of the nights we've gone. Dog friendly for sure, our current favorite brewery place to hang out and have a beer and snacks. Last night was galvans eatery which were some very delicious tacos.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
Great beers and amazing taco truck! In a, Laid back fun atmosphere. Bartenders were helpful and made good suggestions based on taste.
google avatar

Jason Y.

Yelp
Great beers. Joose was performing tonight freaking awesome. Not knocking the food truck that was only serving tacos tonight because I didn't have any, but why only tacos off your menu? Bartenders are great for the crowd that was here. Always a good time.

Yelp
The cooperate is a perfect stop to grab a cold brew after work or with friends for a good time. The service was great backed with chill vibes and a great variety of beer.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cool atmosphere for adults and families. Theres a spot to watch the game inside and outside + plenty of games to play. The beer is delicious and a solid food truck parked outside. There are a ton of cans available for take away. New favorite sour in town with blackberry and raspberry notes!

Yelp
What a cool place and what an odd location kind of in the middle of an industrial area. We went there today for the lobster roll food truck the place was packed they have lots and lots of seating outside sorry I didn't take any pictures. Pretty cool inside and a huge variety of beers place was very festive and we'd go back in a minute. Oh and it's very dog friendly lots of people at dogs they have dog biscuits and bowls around the place it was very warm and inviting.

Yelp
This spot is one of my all time favorites awesome drinks and great food trucks there all the time what else could you ask for when your looking for a nice place to relax this is the only spot you need to know of! thank you to the owner as well for your hospitality I will continue to be back with friends and family 5

Cynthia D.

Yelp
Terrible customer service - Cooperage brewing company workers were rude !! I will never return back again.
google avatar

steve F.

Yelp
rudest waitress beer servers I have ever encountered. I will never be back and will not buy their beer. They ignored me and I was upset
google avatar

Diana B.

Yelp
The beer is pretty good, but the service is a total turn off. The woman behind the bar is doing the Cooperage business a disservice. There is plenty of choices in the area that I'm happy to refer my family, vacationers, locals, and friends to.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute little place. They have lots of tables outside (and misters. Helpful bc it was 100*!) they don't have food but do have food trucks come by. It was pizza the day we went. That's was good as well. There are 2 bathrooms inside. I hope they have more sours in the future! The one they had, I sampled. It wasn't good. I think we would go back and hang out again. They also had giant connect 4 and water dishes for the doggos.

Yelp
Food truck. Indoor seating or plenty of shaded picnic tables. Video games for kids. Dog-friendly. LOTS of GOOD BEERS. 'nuff said
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
Great place for a beer. Cooperage makes really good beers. There's usually a food truck outside with good food.

Ryan M.

Yelp
Good service and a nice beer selection. Was rainy outside and cold when we were there so we sat inside. Was a bit noisy in the warehouse style tavern. Seems like it would be fun in warmer days. But overall good spot with good beer and good service.

Yelp
I'm going to say the Santa Rosa area's craft beer industry rivals any town in California. There are some great breweries and a few of these are top notch. Cooperage is one of those. Great beer selection and a super nice place to go have some of these beers, this was one of our favorites. We were there on trivia night so it was packed. It was a little hard to hear the guy because so many people are talking or making noises but it was pretty fun (every brewery has a trivia night now). The food truck was not our favorite - we ordered the regular burritos and they were hot hot hot. And there was a "hot" food menu, I can't believe it's hotter. We could not finish these burritos. There was a donut lady there which I've never seen before at a brewery. One selfish moron took up four parking spaces with his truck and trailer right next to the brewery - this is something that should not be allowed when it's something like a night where it will be packed. We had to park around the corner. But the brewery itself is great. Highly recommend.

Yelp
One of my all-time favorite breweries in Santa Rosa (which says a lot, because Santa Rosa has quite a few good breweries)! Cooperage always has a great beer selection. I've enjoyed a nice variety of beers here over the years. I especially love their hazy IPAs recently. I love their laid-back, mellow atmosphere. The murals are lovely and they host a fun party. They've expanded their outdoor seating area during COVID which is great. Overall, such a fun spot with excellent craft beer!
google avatar

Venessa L.

Yelp
Super cool place with amazing artwork on their walls. It's very open and doesn't feel too congested in here like other breweries I've been to. Pet & kid friendly chill spot w/ lots of merch. Employees here are very nice and welcoming. I love the huge selection of beers.

Karen W.

Yelp
Great beer and a fun brewery. The food truck had very good Asian food which was good with the beer. A big beer selection-all three we ordered were very good. Friendly service,! We will be back

David S.

Yelp
Really cool spot in Rosa, great beer, cool rotating food trucks, and pinball! On the night we went was a great food truck making smash burgers and loaded fries!
google avatar

Courtney B.

Yelp
Cooperage has so many beers to choose from and come out with a new beer every week I believe. I like IPAs, and I always have a hard time choosing what to get because they have so many good ones. They have lots of space with tables inside and a patio outside. Pints are $7 and there's usually a food truck outside. Parking is pretty easy
google avatar

Yelp
Decided to give this place a try as I saw they had a great selection of beer and good reviews. Was looking for something open and kid friendly and this place hit the nail in the head They were having a movie night and had a couple of food vendors. great outdoor area , selection of beers were great and the staff was welcoming and suggestive, will definitely be coming back when in town

Yelp
Hey, I went there for the cheesesteak it was delicious I would certainly recommend this to anybody.

Yelp
5 out of 5 because I've never had a negative experience. On the contrary, I've had great beer, experienced great people, great atmosphere, great service, and food trucks are always doesn't hurt that I live walking distance either.

Yelp
I didn't know this was an option. A friend recommended Cooperage, and he was right. This was a wonderful place to enjoy some tastings, and really explore what they have to offer. It is out of the way, located in a business-park area. But that's exactly what Yelp is for: finding that place you'd never know was there. Loved the vibe here. We arrived in the early afternoon on a Saturday, and were not disappointed. A quiet, friendly place to do beer tasting. I look forward to coming back.

Yelp
This was my favorite brewery during my visit to Santa Rosa. I ended up taking home a 4 pack of their Shatter Shield Oatmeal Stout. Great service and atmosphere and the Galvan's Eatery food truck was there and had excellent quesabirria tacos. Highly recommend stopping by here if you're in the area.
google avatar

Darren M.

Yelp
I DRINK West Coast IPA's and have really enjoyed all their offerings. Sometimes lines get long for beer depending on time. Best food I've had has been Lunchbox from Sebastopol. Great burgers paired with a good West Coast IPA.
google avatar

Colin H.

Yelp
Good IPA and happy hour prices. Not amazing clientele or space. The beer is quite good, but it's hard to dig a brewery in a strip mall.
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
Amazing beers at cooperage! The inside area has these amazing murals and also art for sale. There is 3 different outside areas - 2 tented areas and one open space in the parking lot. Their beers are so good as well - I would suggest grabbing a beer after a flight from the airport for a quick stop!

Yelp
I am very disappointed in the service here. Short version: I was served the wrong beer and not offered to have it taken off the tab. I live in Sonoma County and know my beer. I enjoy light/non-hazy beers and I avoid this place since they usually only a couple options for that. Came for a friends birthday and ordered the Pale ale. When I ordered the second one it did not TASTE nor LOOK the same. We brought it back to the bartender and she insisted it was the same. I'll give it another try I thought. Drank a bit more and no, there was no way. It was a Hazy which cause me headaches. I returned to the bar and again ordered the Pale ale to compare. Yep, they looked and tasted very different my friend and I agreed. I brought both beers to the bartender showing her they were clearly different, and explained they tasted different as well. The bartender continued to argue with me and was completely rude and in apologetic. She did not offer to take it off the tab, when this would have been an easy fix for her. The brewers make great beer, but the bartenders are rude. I'd rather be at Barley and Bine, Moonlight or Russian River where my service is appreciated.

Yelp
Cooperage is a hidden Edgy-industrial style brewery that offers several selections of Beer -Beer-and more -Beer: - Pilsner, Stout, Sour, and IPA's. This seems to be a popular local watering hole that offers much seating not only at the bar but the overall space is spacious. This find is dog friendly and perfect if you want a relaxed atmosphere. They have a large number of classic games such as: such as Clue, Life, Connect Four, and list goes on. Note: this place does not have have a kitchen-BUT -they do sell snacks and most of the time they host a food truck outside.

LaSette S.

Yelp
Cooperage is one of the top two breweries in Sonoma County (you know the other one). The best beer, amazing food trucks, and a slew of regular events make Coop fun for all ages (and your little dog, too). They also have non-alcoholic beer, sodas, cold-brew on tap, and house-made seltzers for the GF crowd. Truly something for everyone!
google avatar

Ricky R.

Yelp
Only split a single beer here with my wife. The spot was crazy busy and we were getting close to the end of beer journey for a single day. The beer we had was really amazing. I also grabbed a handful of stickers. I enjoyed this place and probably could have made a return trip if we were here a little longer. Either way a large thumbs up.
google avatar

Niki P.

Yelp
Three areas of covered outdoor seating (picnic tables), dog-friendly, affordable tankards, and a delicious taco truck. There are also a variety of non-alcoholic sodas, cold brew coffee, and snacks at the bar, which was really great for the meetup we were having. Breweries often don't have anything non-alcoholic but water.
google avatar

Julie C.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. They're beer is ALL so good. And I'm saying that even having had some Russian river beers. We left multiple crowlers and a growler. The staff was so friendly and talked to us about the beers since it was our first time here. Cooperage is also puppy friendly!! We had one of the three dogs in there and had no issues.
google avatar

Erwin B.

Yelp
Be early to have a parking soot by the entrance. Otherwise the most important here are the beer. They don't sell "growler" anymore but if you have the growler of any brand they can fill it up for you. For me that's a good service. The outdoor sitting has a mist so you can enjoy the outdoor sitting specially on the summer hot day. The ambiance are nice. Come and check it out for yourself!
google avatar

Yelp
Good music. Good times. There were a lot of people this last time I was there but it was pretty dead the last time. I think it must just be a nice day with good timing for peopl to go out. There was a food truck that was really popular with all of the patron. Great beer. A bit crowded but fun

Yelp
Cooperage is an absolute blast every time we visit. The beers is amazing! It's made locally there and they always have a good selections ranging from blonde or Belgium to double IPA and stouts. They are located in a big warehouse which makes for a fun atmosphere. They do not offer food but have snacks such as popcorn and beef jerky. They usually have a food truck out front too. They offer board games and often have live music. My favorite part is the allow dogs. #ProTip: Check their Facebook page for what's happening. It's usually up to date and they usually have something going on.

Amy T.

Yelp
The staff are friendly and the beer is so good. They book food trucks or pop ups since they don't have a kitchen. Cooperage is a dog and kid friendly brewery. There is plenty of seating inside and out, with lots of space to walk the energy out of your kiddos or dogs. They also book awesome local bands that are free to listen to and watch. A hidden gem in an industrial complex.
google avatar

D. G.

Yelp
I had completely forgotten I'd written a review many years ago of this place - wow what difference a few years makes! I've been here couple times recently, and every beer I've had was great. The staff is as friendly as ever, and the vibe is super pleasant.
google avatar

Sophia N.

Yelp
Great selection of beer, great location away from the downtown crowd, and great rotation of food trucks. Their chill vibe is the best. I love the new outdoor space they added during the pandemic too! I really can't say enough about this place. I like their light beers and have never had an ipa there I didn't like. There's always a solid stout on the board and they have seltzers now too on top of their wide range of beers. If you haven't checked it out, it is an absolute must!
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
My new favorite brewery. Great beers! Lots of options and some kabocha, yurbamate and water for the non drinkers. With rotating food trucks it makes a great place to frequently vist. I also enjoy the local artwork on the wall that rotates.
google avatar

Rob B.

Yelp
Aloha, our 3rd stop on our beer tour on rainy Sunday in wine country. Wow, this place is crowded, beers are delicious, not much food here, but pretty interesting popcorn, LOL. Loved the porter, dark, rich, creamy & sweet. Cooperage is located in a fun warehouse district of Santa Rosa. Nice clean restrooms.
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
Nifty spot. There's quite a few games you can play, multiple TVs with a projector also that plays above the bar. I'd say there isn't the greatest amount of seating but the place is designed pretty well for groups. If it grows bigger though, there's only one bathroom which may work against them later. The guys at front are friendly and attentive. You can also bring dogs here if that's your thing. I was lucky when I came in during the visit since they decided to make a sour Airway to Heaven. Was well balanced. I liked that one and Smart went Crazy. I can only hope they'll have more sours in the future, but that's just personal preference.
google avatar

Dido L.

Yelp
Best brewery in Sonoma County!! This is the spot fasho. Best beer, best selection and best place for doggos! Of all the places I've reviewed this place deserves the five stars and then some! #diehardCoopfan In the past they had a lot more rotating beers, now it seemed they have more of a consistent selection. Although consistency is nice and when I feel in the mood for a Cotty By Nature or Diamond Puddles, I can always get it, however I do miss walking in every few days and seeing a new IPA to try. Keep up the good work Coop Fam!!
google avatar

Mark O.

Yelp
First stop at Cooperage and definitely it will not be the last. Tried the Steph Curty pale ale and the Mama Coop hazy IPA. Really enjoyed both of them and somewhat surprised the pale was higher IBU than the IPA. Nice space and plenty of dogs in attendance. It got pretty full on a Tuesday evening by 530. Pints are regularly $6 and $1 off for Happy Hour 3-6 M-F and all day Sunday. Nice you can get 10oz and 5oz pours if you want. Have to BYO food when they don't have food trucks, so a small downgrade for that unless you want a bag of popcorn or chips. However the TJ's is close by on Cleveland Ave to stock up on tasty snacks or something more substantial.
google avatar

Melanie K.

Yelp
I love this place! Their beer is always so fresh and cold and they usually have a good selection to choose from. They recently started canning beer to go, so now you can enjoy your favorite beer any time, anywhere! As far as food goes, they have snacks to purchase and there is usually a food truck out front. You are also totally welcome to bring your own food. They've got tons of games set out on a table for people to play and they've got two dart boards and a foosball table. They also have a few TVs. AND! They're dog friendly . I've never been disappointed leaving the good old Coop.
google avatar

Stephanie A.

Yelp
AND THAT'S WHAT YELPS ALL ABOUT ! When your Yelp friends talk about a tasty brewery in town and let you in on where the secret spot is. Cooperage is an easy 5 star brewery for their top of the notch brew. A great selection of flavors. My favorite was the KegSlayer IPA. Dont get me wrong, I do have 2 other favorites in Santa Rosa that shall remain nameless due to conflict of interest. Cooperage is tucked up in an industrial part of Santa Rosa. Even with my vehicle navigation, I still found myself doing circles. This is a super laid back and casual brewery. VERY DOG FRIENDLY..... BRING FIDO ! I saw a family with children and a baby in a stroller. They are open late until midnight. There is a variety of board games for you to play with your friends. You can also get your favorite brew to go!
google avatar

Mandi K.

Yelp
We've always enjoyed this brewery. Only downside is when they have bands. It gets so loud. Stupid loud. The place isn't built acoustically for live music. We love supporting local bands and when they ply here, it's a struggle. Beer wise, they are a top brewery in town. We walk here from time to time because we know we can't have just one. We're both going to have a few. I love going through the list to make sure I have an absolute favorite! My current favorite is cottyby nature and Dan's favorite is the deiondra lightning. They have so many news beer cycling in and out that it is definitely worth trying them all! On nights a food truck is here, you can stay till you've run out of options! They were open on Labor Day which is awesome. Thank you to the incredible staff for spending the holiday with us! We love it here and we will keep coming back!
