The New Atlanta Restaurant Openings You Should Know About - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"We don't think sipping wine on a patio will ever go out of style. And Alpharetta is getting another spot to do exactly that. This winery chain has locations in thirteen states, so their wine must be (at the very least) drinkable. The full restaurant has a menu that covers all the bases from steak and seafood to pasta and chicken." - juli horsford, jacinta howard

The was my first time ever coming to this restaurant and I will definitely be coming back! Our waiter Jacob S was amazing, he was funny and definitely made the experience enjoyable. We drinks were good as well, I had a typical mimosa. The wine was amazing as well, they have many options to choose from and the waiter also helped with choosing a good wine. The service was great, it didn’t take long for our food to come out and we had a pretty decent sized party. The atmosphere was great as well, it’s a very well decorated place and the ambiance was amazing. The food was great too, i loved everything I had here honestly. 10/10 recommend coming here!

First time last night! Had my lady and my mom from of of town and it was phenomenal all around. Started with wine tasting with Marsha and she provided superb service and candor. We are now new wine members 🤗 highly recommend as the membership pays for itself almost immediately. Move to the table and we meet Salvatore who gives us amazing service as well! Filet was on point so was the shortrib risotto...and the wine...so much wine...was all very tasty. I highly recommend if your a wine enthusiast or love great food!

Google
I struggle to write an amazing review for this location as it just didn't wow me. Don't get me wrong, it's nice, great wine selection, food choices, and a clean, inviting atmosphere. I went during a slower time and had great responsive service. Beer selection is minimal. Combination of appetizers and mains is excellent. The shrimp in the appetizer were huge but a little overdone. The main course chicken was fairly dry and not super flavorful, the side sauce did a lot of heavy lifting. There just wasn't anything that made it stand out from any other wine/bar place to justify some of the costs. I'd definitely recommend checking it out, but as a regular spot, it's just not for me, I guess.

I cannot believe that I haven't reviewed this place yet. We are part of the Wine Club and it is absolutely great. Food is always amazing here and the Wine is beyond one the greatest brands I have ever had. I am telling you right now....join the club because it is beyond worth it. Come in, get a tasting, and sit and eat for lunch or dinner. There will be no disappoint at all. Staff is always the best by far as well.

Cooper's Hawk is fancy but casual. From valet parking to dessert, our experience here was near perfect. We stopped here after a tigers baseball game. We were in our best Tigers t-shirts and shorts and first right in although many patrons were better dressed. Our waiter (Connor) was very friendly, helpful and attentive and the food he brought us was perfectly prepared with every detail being perfect. We started with the south of the border egg rolls, which tasted great. As mains the DANA'S PARMESAN-CRUSTED CHICKEN and the Shrimp and Scallop Risotto were both very good. Lastly the chocolate cake was the best we have had. So many layers of chocolately goodness. We will be back!!!

A great place for a first date. I've been here plenty of times and my friend is a wine club member so we always do the wine tastings before our meal. Well I just had a first date here and it was a great experience. My date hadn't been before and he loved it as well. Anthony our waiter was amazing and knew it was a first date and recommended an amazing cocktail for us to try. Thank you for making such a great memory for the both of us.

I had a GREAT experience at the Troy location. I arrived a few hours early for the wine tasting experience (reservations are not accepted). It was EXCELLENT! We didn’t finish our last pour. They delivered it to our table. Reservations for dinning is recommended. Our waitress was super nice. Our food was really good. The cocktails were just okay. We had Coopers Hawk margaritas. The ambiance is really nice. I will be going back for WINE O'CLOCK HAPPY HOUR. M-Fri 3:00pm - 5:30pm

Google
This I’m sure is an unfortunate circumstance. I’ve been here a few times now and each time my service was amazing. Tonight was different. I was here for a wedding vow renewal. I can understand having a large group and the food getting messed up. However, to have the food brought out 3 times and each time it wasn’t what was asked for…. That upset me. The party order specific entrees. The entree was stake, chicken ( with some sort of pea sauce on top) and mashed potatoes and asparagus. The first time the stake came out RARE. They came back and apologized and took the food to make it better. The only thing that was wrong with the plate was the stake. So when it was brought out the second the stake was still not cooked. This time it looked more Medium than anything. When it was brought out the third time it was yet again medium and this time the plate was filled with juices. By this time the other folks in the party had already finished eating. It was no point of getting a third try. With a specific dish like stake, it should never be assumed how a person likes their food cooked in a party. By this time I’m already frustrated. I’m hungry and the food isn’t coming how I asked. There was a waitress that tried to help. She did get me an order to go but just stake. ( something was better than nothing and I did appreciate that ). She brought the Togo and said “ it was made well done for you “. I asked specifically for medium well…. Despite all of that the deserts and the wines were wonderful.

Yelp
Our waitress was amazing, attentive, informative and all the other good things! Everyone loved their food and wine during our birthday brunch. The seating in the booth is always comfortable and the restaurant is beautiful. I had the short rib and potatoes and it was amazing. I got two meals out of it and even shared with the dog :)

Yelp
We came in to celebrate my birthday. It was pretty crowded despite having reservations at 4:30pm because it was also Fathers Day. This was my first visit to this new location in Troy Michigan. I'd only been to one in Orlando, Florida before this. I enjoyed the ambience of that location as it was more of that steakhouse atmosphere - calm and quiet. The Troy location is a lot more boisterous as it's a much larger restaurant and the open style creates an avenue for voices and noise to carry. It wasn't a negative experience, just different from what I had expected. Our meals came fairly quickly. Hubby had The Prime and I chose the Pork Chops. The chips were thick and cooked perfectly. The sides complimented the pork chops - it was definitely a comfort-inspired meal. The menu has a lot of offerings so we will return to try some other dishes in the future.

Yelp
I traveled to Detroit to attend a birthday dinner for my cousin. Unfortunately on the morning of the dinner, she experienced a medical emergency and was admitted to the hospital. The first manager I spoke with, Teresa, said she notified the kitchen so the food would not be prepared. I called again to ask about cancellation penalties. This time I spoke with a "manager" named Andrea, whose behavior was deeply upsetting. She was cold, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the call. She refused to discuss anything regarding the reservation regardless of being told about the medical emergency /hospitalization. She forced us to disturb my cousin from treatment to discuss this matter although she was speaking with her mother and myself, who were at the hospital with her. Not only did she fail to offer any compassion or concern upon learning of the hospitalization, but she also raised her voice in frustration when we asked about any emergency circumstances in their policy regarding cancellations. Andrea also stated that we should still attend the dinner because the birthday girl not being able to attend was "just one person"! I was flabbergasted at this request as the dinner occasion was the birthday celebration for the person hospitalized. This request was preposterous and I couldn't believe a manager representing Cooper's Hawk was this inept. To make matters worse, Andrea informed us that despite our timely call, well in advance of the scheduled dinner--the food had already been prepped (contradictory to what the previous manager started) and we would still be charged the full amount of $700. I find this decision both unreasonable and insensitive given the clearly documented medical emergency that prevented her from attending her own celebration. I was also baffled regarding the food perpetration comment as the previous manager told us the food hadn't been prepared yet. I understand that policies must be in place to manage cancellations, I believe there should also be room for discretion and empathy in extraordinary situations like this. The complete lack of understanding and the poor customer service we experienced from Andrea is not what I would expect from a brand known for its hospitality and service.i

Yelp
Continue to have great experiences here for the tastings (we call them Tastings with Tina because we usually get her as our wine tasting server) and continued great times when we do dine in. One time in particular was with Garrett. He was very energetic, funny, and quick throughout our service. Shared many laughs with him during our dinner and will definitely try and seek out his section in the future!

Yelp
This location of Cooper's hawk has a large, beautiful tasting room as you enter, and a dining area in the back. Our very jovial waiter gave a short presentation about the winery and types of wines produced. To sample a few of them, I ordered the Red Wine Flight which included their Pino noir, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. To my surprise, they offer a sizable pour for each one! White and sparkling wine flights are also available. My family and I ordered the Drunken Tequilla shrimp and side of candied bacon as appetizers; both were delicious! For my entreé, I chose the red wine braised short ribs served with vegetables. One of the nice features is that you can substitute any of the sides that come with the entreés, so I chose the wasabi mashed potatoes. We were too full for dessert, but I noticed a display case of nice chocolates on my way out. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable, and I may book a wine tasting next time!

Yelp
Wine down with the wine tasting which I highly recommend. As a wine club member I grabbed my 2 bottles then sat down for dinner with one of my besties. We each enjoyed our entrees and left NOTHING behind. I'm definitely getting the mahi mahi again. Service is always on point, clean restaurant, friend staff, reasonable prices and a full bar. What more can you ask for

Yelp
A small group of us (3) made a reservation here on a Sunday for brunch post-yoga. I had been to the Tampa location & was super excited to try this one out. I will say, when we entered the restaurant/wine tasting lobby area, we were blown away. It was every wine lovers dream. But...when we got to the hostess stand, things changed. It didn't seem like either one of the hostess wanted to take care of us by the lack of greeting...just RBF eye contact. We were then seated and the server wasn't too keen on being there either. We thought maybe we presented ourselves the wrong way, as we were in yoga clothes & our hair was messy from class. But regardless of that, the [lack of] hospitality quickly deflated our balloon. The only kind souls were the gentleman who brought us our second round of drinks & the checkout lady when we bought a bottle of wine. Don't get me wrong: the food was amazing and the drinks were fantastic. We are gluten free, so it was a sigh of relief to see that menu slap down on the table. Highly recommend their brunch menu, bubbly flight, boozy iced coffee, and raspberry Bellini. Parking is plentiful. Atmosphere is luxurious. Cost is better than more places in the Troy area. I had 2 drinks & a brunch entree and only paid $41.

Yelp
Our Detroit family arranged a gracious evening at their beloved Cooper's Hawk for tasting and dining. We wanted to acknowledge Logan for his personable tasting tour. He added notes of appreciation to our sampling with hints of playfulness to the well-touted selections. Then our taste buds were graced with every morsel of dinner. We shared the savory servings so that each could appreciate the sumptuous delights. Thank you for more grateful memories.

Yelp
Cooper's Hawk is one of my go-to restaurants! The intimate ambiance and outstanding food and service completes the whole date night experience! The romance red is a solid bottle of sweet wine that went perfectly with our entrees. The Parmesan crusted mahi-mahi, which was absolutely amazing and full of flavor. The prime churrasco grilled steak was very tender and the cilantro-lime aioli was delicious. You can't go wrong with their delicious pretzel loaf and I also couldn't go without ordering the crab/shrimp/lobster bisque! Our server was wonderful and even gave us some complimentary truffles for my birthday! Such a wonderful dinner from start to finish!

Yelp
I just want to say that our experience at this location is ABSOLUTELY Top Tier. Always before our dinner reservation Tina makes sure that our wine tasting period is the bomb. Her knowledge, friendliness and warmness does us well. Her recommendations are law because they're so on point. Then Ashley always makes sure that our dinner experience is one point. This location has an awesome staff and we love coming here!

Yelp
Underwhelming experience tonight. I had the 8oz Filet, which costs $45-compared to $33 at Seasons 52, where I ate recently. For $45 I expect my steak to be cooked the way I requested it (medium), it wasn't--it was medium well on one end, almost well on the other end. I also expect for that much money that I'll get a good amount of potatoes and veggies (broccoli) with my meat, but disappointingly they skimped on both. The highlights of the meal were my Old Fashioned (even though he forgot the extra cherries) and the chocolate cake. Those two things saved this from being a one star review. Service was meh. The restaurant is so loud it's hard to hear people at your table, so if you're hard of hearing this might be a struggle for you. Compare and contrast: Cooper's Hawk: 8oz Filet, dessert, and Old Fashioned = $74 (before tip) Seasons 52: 8oz Filet, dessert, and Old Fashioned = $52 (before tip) Skip Cooper's Hawk and go to Seasons 52 down the street!

Yelp
Came here for a nice brunch with friends. The wine list was amazing and the Paloma wine special was delicious (really sweet)! We started with the sausage and whipped burrata flat bread (not pictured) and it was one of the best things on the menu. Fun fact: their pest is not made with pine nuts (so nut free!). I had their steak salad which was really filling and delicious! Would recommend. Overall, defined have a large menu with lots of options including those who are mindful of their calories and specials that come out every so often.

Yelp
Service is always great when I come here. Food was hot and delicious. The braised short rib in red wine reduction was tender and flavorful. I had a Rockstar Mimosa, which was tasty. I completed dinner with a dark chocolate truffle, which was decadent.

Yelp
My guy and I had reservations for New Year's Eve dinner here. We arrived about an hour earlier than our scheduled time to do a wine tasting. We opted to do the Sweet Tasting comprised of eight wines. We were able to make alert the staff upon completion that we were ready to be seated. I ordered a bowl of the Lobster and Crab Bisque and the Cooper's Hawk Surf & Turf from the seasonal selection menu. He had Chicken Madeira. We enjoyed several of the wines we tasted and purchased four bottles. There was no room for dessert so I purchased some truffles to go.

Yelp
First time here with my Sister in Love, but won't be my last! Fantastic place! You can dine in, but it is also a winery! You can do a wine tasting that takes 45 minutes to an hour. The ambiance is relaxing. The food AMAZING and our waitress Lindsay was A++ on the customer service and timing of a carry out after dinner! I can't wait to bring my hubby!

Yelp
We came to Cooper's Hawk for brunch and bubbles, and honestly, it was one of the best brunch experiences I've had in a while. First of all--$5 mimosas. A win right off the bat. I had the avocado toast, which was phenomenal. Easily the best I've ever had. It was fresh, flavorful, and plated beautifully. Our group also split the crème brûlée French toast, which somehow managed to be decadent and rich without going overboard on sweetness. It was to die for. Our server was lovely--really kind and attentive without hovering. Service made the whole experience even better. The ambiance at Cooper's Hawk always feels elevated but still comfortable. Everything flows well and feels polished without being stiff. This brunch sealed the deal--I'll absolutely be coming back.

Yelp
I'm happy to say that I have been to many Cooper's hawk and this one does keep up the atmosphere and quality of food. Started with the pretzel bread! Can always could in a good fresh bread with the creamy butter. We had the Arancini balls and shrimp tempura for appetizers. The sauce on the arancini balls was perfect. The sangria flight was a good addition to the menu. Some are a little sweet but let me tell you they didn't go to waste.. lol. We went at the end of lunch but if you want to go for dinner make reservations.

Yelp
this was my first time coming in so i was super excited. I came in for happy hour. My bartender was excellent. I should've tried some wine but i got some shots instead. The salmon dip was okay, I'll give it a 6. The sliders were not good. The meat was so chewy. The bun was good though. The tempura shrimp were the best out of the 3. I would come back again for lunch/dinner but probably not ever for happy hour

Yelp
My family can't stop talking about our visit so I'll say it was a success. The atmosphere was fun and the service was great. We really enjoyed the wine. My mom ordered the short rib dinner and said it was amazing, my aunt had the shrimp risotto, she said it tasted even better the next day. I had the surf and turf Parmesan crusted filet that was amazing, with maple glazed salmon that had no taste it was beyond bland I would not recommend the potatoes on side and vegetables were not good either. We started with the shrimp and lobster bisque and I hated it, I love lobster bisque but this was not good to me, my campions didn't complain. I also had dessert the key lime pie is great the best thing I had all night!!! I'll be back because the experience was good. Next time I'll get a burger and fries like everyone around us.

Yelp
I think this is our third New Year's Eve at Coopers Hawk! We like it here. Easy to get a reservation even at the last minute. The drink menu is good. Lots of wine and cocktails to choose from. We love the Brussel sprouts. Also got potstickers this time. I had the filet and my husband had the short rib. We loved the mashed potatoes and the onion strings. Both meals were good. Our other friends got the gnocchi and the filet. Drinks were delicious and strong. Cheers.

Yelp
Extremely loud, busy to the point of no where to park unless someone leaves, the floors are sticky. Overpriced less than mediocre food. My steak medallions were missing the tomatoes that were supposed to come with it. Got a third of a small potato as a side. I just left feeling like I should've ordered a cheaper entree then I would've gotten more food. My friends were underwhelmed by the portion size and taste as well. Will not be returning. Clearly this place is pushing their wine and not interested in food. The dessert was so rich I took 3 bites and was done. We did get the sangria pitcher that was good.

Ebenezer's Anni L.

Yelp
While I have eaten here a few times with the dinning Meetup group, this time was a little different and not in a good way. Service was wonderful but the dining room was much louder so you could hear the person next to you. I ordered the table an appetizer, cheese and bacon board with 3 types of soft cheese and fruit, toasted bread and candied bacon. I didn't really enjoy the cheese choices and for once a table of 9 didn't finish it. There was even some of the bread left. I ordered the steak and salmon surf and turf. While both was good, the potions were smaller than I thought they should be for the price. Others thought that also. I know costs have gone up, but it was surprisingly how they are cutting corners. Instead of 2 or 3 times a year, it will be once now.

Yelp
Cooper's hawk is always a hit. The wine selection? Delicious. Food, made from scratch and amazing. I highly suggest any of their risottos- SO good. And don't sleep on their wedge salads, delicious! Great service and great date night vibes!

Yelp
Less than stellar experience last weekend with my mom. We decided to stop here for a lunch date. We both ordered the bbq chicken ranch salad. First of all, the salad was very skimpy for a $20 salad, second of all we both had to send our salads back because the chicken wasn't tossed in bbq sauce. (Waitress even confirmed this when we ordered) We had to wait to flag down our waitress. Then to our surprise, they literally just took the chicken off, tossed it in sauce and gave us the same salads back. Meh. I probably won't be a return visitor.

Yelp
THIRD UPDATE: Now that Yelp has fixed their messaging functionality, Jillian at Cooper's Hawk Corporate services reached out. She was very apologetic for the back and forth and the experience I had at the Troy, MI restaurant. While I doubt that anything will change at the restaurant, I will say that at least their corporate office does care about the experiences customers have at their restaurants. This restaurant location still deserves negative stars for the horrible customer service and sub-par food that we received, but I'll give Jillian props for continuing to try to reach out to understand the situation and to express apologies from corporate for the service from Claire and the food quality.

Yelp
Came here for a friend's birthday brunch for the first time. It was delicious! The service was outstanding. The food was delectable! And the atmosphere was comfortable and luxurious. They serve a house pretzel bread with butter in the beginning, and that was fresh, warm and good! How can you not like fresh warm bread? I ordered the brisket grilled cheese sandwich and it was delicious! It came with a tomato bisque but I substituted with a lobster, crab, shrimp bisque and that was superb! And it also came with a side of fries. The side Caesar salad was good too and it was also a generous portion for being a side salad at a nice place like this. I would come here again for a special occasion! They also had such a wide variety of wines, which is expected for it to be a winery.

Kelly M.

Yelp
Today was my first time eating at Cooper's Hawk and it is my last. The staff were very friendly and our server was very nice and polite. However, the food was not very good. Perhaps that's why winery comes before restaurant. If you drink enough wine then you don't notice the food. My brisket hash was a mess. I couldn't tell the potatoes from the fat since it was covered up in some kind of greasy sauce. The maple sausage and pretzel bread were the only things worth eating. My friend had to send her food back because the presentation of her meal was not acceptable. Finally, clean the bathroom. First impressions count. We paid our bills in full and made sure the server received a nice tip. People work hard and we acknowledged her work.

Yelp
I've only dined in at Cooper's Hawk once, but have had take out from here multiple times. While dining in, we had fine service and good food. They are very careful about allergies which my group is sincerely appreciative of. It is hard to dine out with severe food allergies. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs since it is a classic. I personally was hoping for more of a creamy burrata ball to open vs melted. When melted, the cheese does not offer more flavor than a plain mozzarella and it doesn't mix in with the pasta as well being stringy. I enjoyed the freshness of the basil and the sauce was obviously freshly made which is a plus! I enjoyed the meatballs too, but the flavor was similar to something we've made at home so they didn't stand out. I have also had the chicken madeira and would highly recommend that entree! It was so flavorful and I loved the sauce! It was a take out order but it reheated well. My favorite part was the s'mores budino dessert! It is what I think of every time I drive by the restaurant. I would definitely go back just for that dessert alone. I do recommend Cooper's Hawk and am looking forward to trying something new from the menu next visit!

Yelp
My favorite time of day is Happy Hour and Cooper's Hawk has a bomb one!! I had the sangria flight. Our waiter gave the best breakdown of the flavors and the ones he liked best! He was so charming, helpful and attentive. I had the salmon dip, crispy tempura shrimp and the truffle arancini. All were delicious, the salmon dip was so flavorful and the pita chips paired perfectly with it. The tempura shrimp were HUGE, you definitely get your moneys worth and the arancini were delectable. The flight was so cute and each one was a huge glass of sangria. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of them and were feeling every drop by the end. My favorite flavor was the strawberry fields but all four were very delicious and refreshing. Happy hour is Monday-Friday 3:00-5:30 PM, get to it!

Yelp
Me and my husband had dinner this evening. We had a great dinner as usual, along with great service. The chicken piccata is the best and the jambalaya is equally delicious. After dinner we went to the tasting bar, Kinga was very informative and personable. She is now one of our favorite at the tasting bar. I would recommend this restaurant and wine bar to any who likes wine and great food.

Yelp
My family and I visited this restaurant last month. The food was delicious, and the wine was divine. Everyone gets free two tastings of a glass of wine. You can get a membership and purchase a bottle of wine. I had a steak with mash potatoes and broccoli. I loved the parmesan crust on my steak. I ate the whole thing and I had a tasting of the ice wine and chocolate red wine. Both wines were good but my favorite was the ice wine. Our waitress was very kind and helpful. The restaurant was really nice and clean as well.

Yelp
I originally wanted to order the prime churraso grilled steak, but they were sold out of it for the day. Instead, I ordered the surf and turf - Parmesan crusted filet medallions and the drunken shrimp. Did not care for the roasted vegetables (which were mainly just carrots).
google avatar

Yelp
Service and ambiance wonderful! Kinga delivered a great wine tasting experience once again! See my Google review from 5 months ago still 5 stars so was food !

Yelp
Looking for a fun wine tasting? Head over to Cooper's Hawk you won't be upset! Their pricing is wonderful and the wines are delicious. I would recommend staying for food after. Most of the time you'll want to make a reservation or put your name in when you get there. The food is very yummy and the service has always been good. I really enjoy this restaurant and would recommend it!

Yelp
It's so great to get out of the house to meet up with college sorority sisters with they are in town to visit family for the holidays. Cooper's Hawk did not disappoint! This is the favorite restaurant of two ladies in my party. One of them even joined the wine club on this visit. Abby, who was our outstanding waitress, was a big help to get her enrolled while continuing to take care of the rest of our party. Thank you Abby! The food was great! The brussel sprouts appetizer was a big hit with our table. I enjoyed the soy ginger Atlantic salmon with wasabi-buttered mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was delicious! Our guest here from Maryland also had the soy ginger Atlantic salmon with the potatoes and Asian slaw. She states she will have to search out the DMV area to see if there is a location near her. She loved the wine pairing guide on the menu and being able to try a couple selections. Reservations are recommended. Our wait was only a few minutes after our time. The wine and accessories shopping area is inviting and helps pass the time. The art and decor is also nice. The only problem we had is that our round table had paper under one leg to try to prevent it from rocking. Also, the sides come up on the table top to convert from a square table to a round table. With this, my plate was sitting over the crease in the table and rocking as I cut my food.

I love it here. Only have been 1 time and definitely ready to go again! I didn't even get a chance to try their food but I heard good reviews on that too.

Yelp
I always enjoy Cooper's Hawk. I don't get a chance to go too often, but when I do it's always a good time when the food is consistent. The appetizers are always good as well. If I had one critique it would be to steer away from the salmon dish, it was very dry and underseasoned. The seasonal bread pudding dessert was exceptionally good. The service is reliable, our server was very nice and explained things on the menu and even made some wine recommendations. The ambiance is cool. Low lighting, lots of people and the tasting room was very busy. I do recommend making a reservation or you may end up waiting a little bit.

Yelp
Walking into the lobby you are greeted with an enormous wine selection. The restaurant is huge and is always busy. I suggest making a reservation. I've been here a couple times and every time the food does not disappoint. I recently tried the Chicken Madeira and it's my new favorite! The chicken was cooked perfectly and it paired well with the mashed potatoes and asparagus.

Yelp
Excellent!!! From start to finish. This place was very busy when we arrived. It was a bit of a wait to get checked in for our reservation. From there things sailed by. The lobby area greets you with full wine bar and selections for purchase. Very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Our server (who said he was new) was amazing. Knowledgeable on the menu, on wine pairings, food suggestions, attentive!! This guy nailed it. If he's this way new imagine once he's seasoned. The food he suggested was spot on, the drinks were incredible and truly nothing was amiss here. Give them a try.

Yelp
Came here with my girlfriend to try it out after a friend recommended it to me, and it ended up being an alright experience. While initial given a 15 minute wait estimate to be seated, it ended up taking about 45 minutes, even though there were a lot of empty tables in the restaurant, so I think they may have been understaffed that night. We ordered the Caprese flatbread as an appetizer, which I enjoyed. I got the braised short rib risotto as my entree, and while I enjoyed it, it was a bit too fatty for me. I think this place is still worth checking out, but I would be sure to have reservations ahead of time.

Yelp
Place worth trying wine if you are into it. I celebrated my friends birthday at this place, they had special recommendation of whines which goes with each dish. Loved it

Yelp
I am a wine club member and decided to come to my favorite for a carry out. I have been at a minimum of 7 locations. I ordered jambalaya for dinner. I got what looks like a lunch or appetizer portion for $27. I was so disappointed not just with the portion but the spice level. It was bland and I was still hungry. The chicken was shaved strips, no sausage. I am always speaking of this chain. Be aware. Dine in and it may be worth your while but don't take a chance on a carry out.

Yelp
Sadly, I must give this COOPER HAWK location in Troy Michigan a " thumbs down" Although the service was great; the ambiance and FOOD was not good. Perhaps I am spoiled because the COOPER HAWK restaurant in Scottsdale Arizona (where we frequently eat) is more swank (both exterior and interior decor.) The lettuce wraps I typically order on their menu is made with Mahi tuna; but here at this restaurant, they use chicken which was quite bland and lacking the delicious flavor I craved. My husband was also disappointed with his steak that was clearly overcooked: WELL DONE; not "medium rare"___had to be sent back, waiting for another steak, while the rest of us ate. NOT GOOD! Thank God my favorite "House White Sangria" was the same. No, we learned our lesson and will never dine at this particular COOPER HAWK restaurant when we visit Detroit again.

Yelp
Service the ambiance just amazing. The drinks the wine selections are plenty for you to try them all if you want. Don't go there for food. It's bland. We had four selections and all of us were disappointed. We even had 2 appetizer, it was a no no. Go there for ambiance, service and wine that's all.

Yelp
This is our favorite place! Tina in the tasting room makes our experience absolutely wonderful. She always remembers us and our wine preferences which makes us feel at home. Tina always goes above and beyond to make us feel like celebrities! This is what sets Cooper's Hawk apart from other places. People like Tina are why we keep coming here and bringing new people to experience the special treatment we get! Thank you Tina!

Yelp
Party of five for my wife's birthday. We had a reservation through open table. Welcomed graciously, seated promptly. I have to say although busy, service was thoughtful and attentive. They have quite the wine collection but we are cocktail people and they were fine. We all had cow-based Dinners and they were perfectly done. Several deserts put us under the table. If you order, plan on sharing. All in all a very positive experience.
