Copa Vida - Torrance

Sometimes the rating simply falls far from the actual experience. I was lured here by a high review. Sadly, the coffee is average at best. Worst part, I ordered a $5.50 latte and the cup they served me is like a Dixie cup! It’s tiny. Shame! This is not some artisan pour over. Just a cheap cut to more profit. I’m not coming back.

A very chill and profesional vibe! By professional vibe, I mean you mainly see people in good attire or business clothing. They also have a unique art portrait and the coffee here is a solid 9! I usually give a 9 because I don't think any coffee can be a 10 unless it's just somehow a very good coffee, during a certain time of day, and if it gives you flashbacks haha. But overall, it's a nice place to get coffee and chill, talk, and walk around. And there is a free parking lot literally right next to the building with like 3 or 4 floors so there's plenty of parking for you. Come give this coffee shop a try if you haven't heard of them yet!

Coffee is excellent, so good I got another flat white to go. Much more on par with European coffee standards than any Starbucks offerings. Lovely staff and the chorizo breakfast burrito was delicious.

A cozy cafe with tasty food and coffee. Very friendly staff and quick service. Being inside an office building lobby, and having an open-kitchen layout, it is a little on the noisy side, but definitely enjoyable.

I'm really happy the shop opened back up after the pandemic. Great selection of single origin pour overs and espresso drinks as well as milk alternatives. I also picked up a bag of espresso beans to give a try. They have a large selection of breakfast items, however, today they had limited ingredients. That was knowledgeable about their beans. Parking structure is always full, just park in the adjacent lot and walk over. Bottom Line: I'll be sure to come back more often on my days off!

Copa Vida is located inside of an office building. There is free parking in the structure outside. As soon as you walk into the building, Copa Vida is on the left hand side! The interior of Copa Vida is really cute, & it looks like a great place to study or read. However, I just wasn't impressed with their drinks at all. I ordered an iced honey latte with oat milk & almost couldn't even drink it. I usually get oat milk at other coffee shops, but they must use a different brand here because it was very grainy & almost tasted like rice. The coffee was smooth, but the oat milk flavor was just very off putting. It also isn't a sweet drink, so keep that in mind if that's what you're looking for. My sister ordered the peppermint mocha, a seasonal drink. I thought the portion was very small for the price. It looks even smaller than a tall at starbucks. The peppermint was better than my drink, but it was bitter. If I were to come back, I'd stick to regular milk & avoid oat milk.

Met a long time client for coffee. They had a small but good looking menu but I did not eat on this visit. Great spot in a great building. Lots of young professionals coming and going. Outdoor and indoor seating. Free parking in the structure.

This is a really low-key cafe located in a large commercial office building so it's tucked away and not easy to find from the main streets. It's adjacent to a large parking structure. Their menu hosts some typical breakfast sandwiches, burritos and avocado toast. They serve a good assortment of coffees and teas. Overall, decent food and drinks. There was only one barista working while I was here, but she was friendly and fast. The inside is simple and clean with lots of seating. They have good chill music. It's a perfect place to get some work done or a good site for an out-of-office meeting. There's also a nice little courtyard right outside with patio tables/chairs, umbrellas, and some lounge chairs.

Very excited to see Copa Vida in Torrance! No more driving to Pasadena. :-) Coffee drinks are very solid and strong. My go-to are simple.. expresso with oatmilk, or cappuccino. Located inside of the Torrance business building next to Denny's/ across from Norsstroms. There is plenty of garage parking.

The good: There's plenty of parking and plen-tea of tea options! I liked the seasonal options like the yuzu matcha. They had plenty of tea options and tea latte options. I tried the brûlée mint tea and liked the frothy foam. I like the modern interior and trendy outdoor communal space. There are tables and umbrellas. The outside has a mural, bamboo plants, lounge chairs and flowers. I came here to treat myself to a peaceful morning on this rainy June day. They sell cute merchandise that includes travel mugs, ceramic cups, and kettles. The service was great. The worker brought my almond croissant and tea to my table. The bad: The brûlée mint tea latte tasted good but tasted like a London fog with black tea and didn't have mint flavor. The almond croissant was good but the almond paste inside was lacking. Instead, it was oozing with lots of butter (not a bad thing- but was definitely looking for that almond paste!). The interesting: They're located on the first floor of a business building.

After over 5 times coming here, I have to say that this is the best kept secret of the South Bay. No more needing to go to Pasadena for bougie coffee

I really really wanted to like this place because it's so aesthetic. Their honey latte is AMAZING! The first taste had me hooked! Unfortunately, just as good as the coffee was, the burrito was the exact opposite. It tasted absolutely inedible. It's a microwave burrito that tastes comparable to a flight meal. The fact that this microwave burrito was $12 dollars was enraging. They REALLY should stop selling the burritos. Cute place to come and work while having a cup of coffee, but DON'T order the burrito.

I love Yelp because I find little gems! I was craving breakfast and a coffee at noon and this place came up. My bacon brekkie and hot honey latte was DELISH!! I almost couldn't find the place because it's in an office building right next to a parking structure. Park in there and go into this place! I loved their decor and friendly staff too. Can't wait to go back to try something else!

A bit tricky to find the entrance because of how maps navigate you to the parking lot but the coffee was good. Would come back again.

I'm sure other stuff is good but I make this review specifically to say DO NOT get the strawberry matcha, it tastes so watered down, and has this bitter vanilla flavor that tastes incredibly odd, and the strawberry cream is practically nonexistent. And also I'm not sure if this happens every week but they said their breakfast burritos are not ready yet on Monday morning because they get the ingredients later that day, so if you're planning to eat that then don't go 9am Monday.

Situated just off the main part of Del Amo Mall, Copa Vida is a recent addition to the shopping center of Torrance. It's an open-space coffee shop that's inside a corporate building, right across from security. You could say that you can enjoy some coffee and do work while feeling safe! XD I ordered the honey latte. Drink is a bit steep at over $6 for a small cup, but that was a wonderfully-made latte: I could taste the mellow sweetness from the honey, and the latte itself was creamy and comforting. And to enjoy it at the booth overlooking a green space outside is very peaceful. I would return to Copa Vida just for that honey latte! Only wish is that Copa Vida was open on weekends, but otherwise, I'll have to take another day off to make the trek back for another coffee!

These guys know coffee. I've been coming here for a while, and they never disappoint. From cappuccino to cold brew, everything here is excellent!

I really wanted to love this place but sadly, I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. I am a shopaholic and it seems like I'm always at Del Amo, so this would have been a great place to take a break and enjoy an iced latte and/ or a snack. It also seems like a fabulous place to study or get some work done. The indoor and outdoor space are both great. I especially think the outdoor space is wonderful, especially when you want to have a nice conversation and enjoy the beautiful weather. I got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was just eh; very oat milk forward. I also got a vegan chocolate chip cookie because I didn't eat anything this morning and it looked ef-ing amazing. I thought it was going to taste like Tate's cookies (one of my favs)... the cookie was again, just eh. It was my first time here and this is based on first impressions on what I ordered.

copa vida is quite possibly the worst way to start your morning. the male barista is giving off a bad taste and i wouldn't want rude people to start my day. copa vida is located in torrance near del amo mall inside a huge building. i went to try it since i saw it on my maps app. wasn't surprised when i heard that no one knew about it because the drinks are not good. ordered a chai tea and it tastes like just milk with a bit of spice. if you're coming for the drinks, don't bother.

so happy that copa vida is in the South Bay! I love their Pasadena location but don't get to go often since it's far. Parking- there is a free parking garage right in front of the building but may be full from the corp offices in the same building as copa vida. I parked in front of buy buy baby but park at your own risk. There's a few tables inside and right in the main entrance. There's 3 outlets if you sit inside, not sure if there's any outlets where the high table is. But lots of outside seating available if you're grabbing coffee with a friend. Service was amazing per usual and so was my iced matcha. Can't wait to come back to try the strawberry yuzu matcha latte!!

I used to go to the Pasadena location when I worked there and thought I'd give it a try here. So this place is hidden in the back of the office building lobby. It is a decently sized, The offerings were a bit limited pastry wise, or I was there a bit late. I ordered a late, I was served promptly. great coffee and great chocolate croissant.

Still makes a really good latte even though it's not their original location. I'm used to having Copa vida espresso being very earthy, but the latte here was less on the earthy side and was quite balanced with the sweetness of the milk that blended well with the more molasses, chocolate notes that I got from my cup. In terms of earthiness, this one was even lighter than Intelligentsia's black cat espresso so that was a bit of surprise too. Staff here is also really nice; there was a lady who complained that her hot latte was cold even though she was on the phone for half an hour before she started drinking it. ... staff made her a new one and even apologized to her for her 'cold' latte. Aside from that, this Copa vida resides in a business building so their space is more like .. a side bar cafe with super limited seating. There's a couple of outlets (two) if you want to go there to study, and there's a few handful of seats if you want to sit and chat. But overall, still a good cup of coffee.

I really like my oat milk honey latte here! The aesthetic of Copa Vida is open, bright and spacious which gives off clean, minimal vibes. It's a little odd because it is connected to the lobby of a business building, but either way, really cute coffee shop. I met a friend here and we spent an hour just catching up. After she left, I stayed for another hour doing work. I will def come back to use the space and to grab a coffee!

I love the convenience of this cafe especially for those sick of the nearby Starbucks and mall food. First vegan breakfast burrito I ever tried and I believe it's bomb. I'll definitely come back again.

Good thing i found this place when we were in Carson! Lobe their coffee and their london fog was amazing!

The main guy or manager has such a bad vibe, plain rude, and not much a people person. If you'd like to start off your day horribly, make sure to come to THIS Copa Vida.

The coffee itself was ok. The customer service was cool. I gave three stars because it is merely an overpriced coffee shop. I understand drinks take energy to make, but $6 for the smallest latte (a roughly 8-10 oz cup) is just ridiculous. I will not be coming back to this spot.

New to Torrance and looking for coffee shops to enjoy. This is inside The Torrance which is an office building. Plenty of parking and easy to access. Chill vibes and easy menu for drinks. I got the Honey Latte and it was just right. Not too sweet and not too strong. I also got the bacon breakfast burrito and it was tasty with the salsa they provided. Flaky tortilla! I can see myself posting up here to do some work and enjoying another coffee. Also they have a lot of cute merch! Will be back

Copa Vida is a welcome find in Torrance. While a few really good coffee shops have arrived in the city, Torrance could use more! Copa Vida is in an office complex near the Del Amo mall. So, it's right on the way to the mall if you want to get a great cup of coffee before! I had their espresso and cold brew. Both were really solid and tasty. My wife got their cappuccino, and loved it. She thought it was one of the best in the city. They have a nice outdoor patio with umbrellas to enjoy if you're so inclined. Their only drawback is they are not open on the weekends! Copa Vida...if you're reading this...please consider being open on Saturday for shoppers to hit you up for some good coffee!

If you are looking for amazing specialty coffee, super friendly baristas, and tons of seating (indoor and outdoor), this is your spot. It is a hidden gem in Torrance on the corner of Torrance Blvd and Hawthorne. The parking is abundant and free in the parking garage next door. My sons and I come here at least once a week before school for coffee, vanilla steamers for the boys, and breakfast. Highly recommend this place!!!

They make a great cap here. They also have super yummy sweets that match the rich coffee.

The coffee is perfect. I ordered a honey latte and it was carefully made. I used to go the Pasadena location. Now that I live in the South Bay I can't be happier. I love how it's very safe as well.

So stoked. Copa Vida opened up a shop here in Torrance , I've heard about them from some friends and they said that their coffee is amazing, but I never made it up to the LA area to try them. Antonio hooked it up with a great Cortado, hardly any acidity, great flavor and super smooth. I will definitely be back!

If you want you find a nice little hidden cafe that has excellent customer service along with amazing coffee then look no further! My best friend and I wanted coffee before work and wanted to try a new place. Copa Vida popped up on my fiends search and we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! I got the vanilla iced latte which taste like Heaven in a cup and I decided to try the breakfast bacon burrito which was really good. This nice little place has surprised me and the peaceful vibe at this coffee shop makes it the perfect place to study for when I go back to school. Why have ordinary coffee when you can come to Copa Vida and have the best coffee. Copa Vida, give it a try! And you won't regret it! I will definitely be going back.

This place is great. It is actually in the front of the office building behind the parking garage next to del amo mall. They opened recently so I wanted to give it a try. 10/10 on the coffee. Cant wait to come back and try the food.

Love coming here but unfortunately the hours are horrendous. Seems like they cater to the business crowd that come to the hotel. We would come here weekly if they had better hours, but instead we hardly come since they close early and not open on the weekend.
