The 25 Best Restaurants & Bars In Palm Springs

"Located in the courtyard of the former Cary Grant estate, the almost entirely outdoor space (with ridiculous mountain views) is that idyllic Palm Springs setting you trekked out past the windmills and into the desert to experience. Also, they make an incredible steak. If you’re looking for that quintessential Palm Springs date night—or hoping to reenact the most iconic scene in Real Houswives history—this is it." - brant cox

Our first visit to Copley’s was a pleasant surprise. We sat outside in January surrounded by heaters, plants and people. I did wish I had dressed a little warmer. Our server was efficient, helpful and even a little fun. The food was fantastic. Imagine my gluten-free delight when the Caesar Salad came with croutons made out of pineapple (« traces of tropical »). As the former home of Cary Grant, the inside is filled with different nooks and crannies. Overall a very special evening.

Wonderful place. The food is really really good. No matter what you choose it will be great. It's a great spot for a date night. And they got a good no-alcohol beer. I don't drink, but if you do they have other really good mixed drinks, my wife got one.

We are regular visitors to Palm Springs and look forward to new dining experiences each time. Copley’s has been one of those places we’ve look forward to. We visited last night, New Year’s Eve, and the experience fell flat, especially at $99 USD each … Our reservation was for 9:30 pm and we were finally seated at about 10:00 pm. Not a big deal really, as long as the hostess is somewhat apologetic. My wife checked in at 9:25 pm and then when she went to inquire about our table to the same hostess, the hostess asked if my wife again if she was checking in. It made us feel overlooked. The table was nice and everything folks say about the ambience at Copley’s is accurate - it’s magical! I had the salmon, which was very good. My wife had the pork chop, half of which was fat. There was no choice in dessert, which seemed to be an afterthought. Overall, the food was average. Mostly we noticed inconsistency in which servers treated guests. Some had smiles and conversation, others simply had dishes dumped in their table or dirty dishes whisked away. For us, there didn’t seem to be a genuine concern for how we felt about our meals and experience. For those reasons, I wouldn’t consider returning since there are so many other fantastic options on the Palm Springs strip.

My main plate (the branzino) was pretty good. But my cucumber side salad was a different story. The cucumbers and tomatoes were not fresh. They were a bit rubbery. Sure sign of being in cold refrigeration for way too long. Normally that wouldn’t a big deal for a $75 meal (entree + 1 cocktail) for 1, it was very disappointing.

Copley's perfectly balances an inviting atmosphere, luxuriously delicious food, and top-notch customer service. We've been about a dozen times and have never been disappointed. Tonight we celebrated a late Valentine's. We started with cocktails--I had the Quicksand, which I expected to be somewhat similar to a pina colada but which turned out to be so much more complex and absolutely delicious. It was sweet and fruity, but not overly so, and the freshly grated nutmeg on top was a nice finishing touch that I could taste in every sip. My starter was the salmon poke and sweet bay shrimp. The serving size was quite generous for a starter, and every part of it was excellent on its own, even better when combined. I loved the combination of flavors and textures. I followed with the mixed beet salad. I love beets anyway, but there are so many nuances to this salad. The roasted grapes and bruleed goat cheese take a back seat in the description, but they were my favorite parts of the dish--and don't get me wrong, I loved the pear and beets! For my entree, I had the chef's special, grouper served with mashed potatoes, green beans, tiger shrimp, and a delicious buerre blanc. The fish portion was generous and quite tasty. The baby greens served on top added a nice freshness, and the buerre blanc brought everything together beautifully. It was my first time trying grouper, but it won't be my last. It was delightful both in taste and texture. I finished with the toffee and date sticky pudding. It's my favorite dessert here, though the basil ice cream is hard to resist. I love the pudding itself, as it's warm and sweet but not overly so. But I think it might be the fresh caramel drizzled over the plate that brings the vanilla ice cream and toffee pudding together and sends the whole dessert to the next level. It is worth every calorie to indulge in this dessert. On top of the amazing food, our waiter Carlos, was wonderful. He was kindly attentive without being intrusive. The staff overall was excellent. Our waters were kept full, our table cleared, our food served in a timely manner without making us feel rushed. It was just a lovely atmosphere for a lovely dinner.

Google
We had a great experience at copleys. We each had the corn chowder soup to start and my wife had the Lamb and I had the short rib special which came with lobster mashed potatoes. The Lamb was flavored perfectly and was amazing. The short rib was great and you didn't even need a knife it just melted apart with a fork. The lobster mashed potatoes were very good and something different then I've had before. Their cocktail's were great as well as their crembrule. It was a little cooler outside so we sat inside and it was a very neat place to be inside or out. Our server DK was great and very attentive.

Google
It was a different experience for myself and others in my party. Mostly due to the specific menu that happened to be in place because of *Restaurant Week. This menu isn't their regular/normal menu, so there aren't many a la carte options during this time. (More of a table d'hôte menu, where abe fixed-price meal with a limited number of courses is offered.) *Restaurant Week is where the restaurants in the area have a special menu and roughly 20% of proceeds from that week go to a local charity

Dinner was delicious, and the wait staff was great. It was such a beautiful night, perfect for sitting outside. Appetizer: Crispy Empanada Salad: Organic Mixed Lettuce & Blue Cheese Salad. Entreè: Prime 12oz New York Steak Dessert: Hazelnut Chocolate Dome/ Apple Strudel It is a quick walk from any downtown Palm Springs hotel. You'll love it!

Yelp
A Palm Springs landmark restaurant with an unmatchable vibe! If you visit Palm Springs, then a reservation at Copley's is almost a mandatory requirement because it is the epitome of the restaurant scene here. Food (4.5/5) Expect New American cuisine when dining here. There are some daily specials, but the menu items have remained the same for years and are still delicious. Mandatory orders at this restaurant include the bread and butter for two, Copleys Caesar salad, and the New York steak. One of the most famous menu items at this restaurant is the Copleys Caesar salad because instead of regular bread croutons, the restaurant uses pan fried pineapple chunks as the replacement for the bread croutons. The combination breaks the conventional barriers of a traditional Caesar salad and is one of their more creative items to order (do not miss out on this!) The New York steak is also a solid choice here for a hearty meal and the caramelized onions on top pair with the steak perfectly. The truffle Parmesan fries are a little overkill but can be shared generously with the table. The dessert selection is interesting because the chocolate soufflé is more of a molten lava cake than an actual soufflé; yet, the dish itself is not too bad flavor wise. Out of all the items on the dessert menu I'd still order the chocolate soufflé as it was not too heavy compared to the other options. Service (4/5) The service is a little spotty since the restaurant is almost entirely outdoors in a large courtyard. If the restaurant is busy, expect to wait to find your waiter or get a water refill. The workers here are always in a good mood and are knowledgeable of the menu as well. Ambiance (5/5) A truly one of a kind restaurant inside the Cary Grant Estate where diners get incredible views of the San Jacinto mountain range (plan your reservation near sunset for an incredible experience). The old school charm of this restaurant makes for a special occasion as well. Opt out for the limited indoor seating and sit in the outdoor courtyard so you can take advantage of the outdoor views. Limited bar seating is available for people without a reservation, but I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation online as the restaurant is usually fully booked throughout the year.

Yelp
To start, this is my 6th time here in as many years and I so wanted to enjoy a great meal as I've had in the past. Service is always top notch and they get kudos for that. The food was quite disappointing to say the least: * It was restaurant week so that may have played a small part... you could tell the servers had been thru a busy evening... the service was good, but not as on point as in the past. * we ordered off the Prix-fix menu. The Salmon and the New York strip ( extra charge ) with a Caesar and the Beet salad as starters. My Caesar came out ( a handful at best) in a hot bowl that must have come straight out of the dishwasher. It had already started to sour the dressing and had the slight taste of warm salami. The beet salad was a small step up, but if you took the 5 grapes off the plate you had a micro portion... The New York strip ( prime ?)... was a rather large / generous portion , but that wasn't necessarily a good thing in this case. It came out nice and pink as ordered, but it was flavorless and almost chalky tasting. Whatever the glaze or sauce that it was covered with, added only a clear glaze that was bound to congeal at some point , and a complete lack of flavor. The broccoli crowns were flash seared and flavorless as well. The truffle fries were delicious! The salmon was better, but it reminded me why I never order salmon in a restaurant.. just good, but that's it. Potatoes were fine... The mini deserts were just good ... ended up taking them Togo... We brought our own bottle of wine, no cocktails and the total was 220.00 .. Had to give the ( steak , minis 4 bites) to a homeless person sleeping on a bench down the way.. The steak would have been 10x better had it marinated in garlic and sea salt then seared in a cast with a butter finish and ground black pepper. Note, this is the second time in a row that the steak has fallen flat... ~ 60 dollars for a steak ... if food cost is an issue , perhaps going with higher quality and smaller portions!? Make up the difference with extra frites that are basically free!

Yelp
Have not visits Copleys for a long time, last night we had a great dinner. Food, Service, Warm Aloha From Co Owner Greg. we enjoyed the hospitality and will be back soon!

Yelp
Copleys is a contemporary American restaurant housed in Cary Grant's old estate. The outdoor garden is beautiful and definitely where you want to make your reservation. We didn't know and we made our reservation for inside where the atmosphere isn't quite as magical. We split their Caesar Salad, but I wasn't a fan of the pineapple croutons. It added a strange element to the dish. For our mains we had the Organic Chicken Schnitzel, which you can't go wrong with, and the Fresh Seafood Fettuccine in a romesco sauce. Portions are huge and we took home leftovers. Dining here is a special experience, but you could even pop in for a glass from their extensive wine list.

Yelp
Decided to check out Copleys as it was recommended by multiple people. The menu had a good variety and we decided to order the prosciutto, melon, kiwi salad, prime NY steak and the short rib dinner special. The steak was cooked to perfection and really loved the sauce and caramelized onions on top. The truffle parm fries were the best I've had! Perfect French fry texture with just the right amount of truffle. Short rib was incredible and melt in your mouth. Our server was very friendly and staff overall super nice.

Yelp
It's always nice as a vegetarian to look at a menu at a high-end restaurant and find that there are not only two possible main dishes, but neither of them are pasta. I had a delicious dinner with seasonal vegetables, satiating portions, and tasty sauce. The view of the mountains was beautiful, with the sun setting. I think the outdoor seating is better than indoor for the mountain view, fountain, trees, and ambiance. You might thank yourself for bringing a light sweater because the wind comes cold. I will say that even though this was fine dining, the prices were not as high as one might expect. I had a full glass of sparkling wine from France for $13. Service is very helpful, and slightly sassy.

Yelp
Copley's is one of my all time Palm Springs favorites! Housed in a former Cary Grant guest house, the place is beautiful offering lots of outdoor dining and some indoor dining. The food is a 10 every time I visit. Service is always great. Wine pour is always generous. I tried a vegetarian option and it was delicious. BRAISED MISO CAULIFLOWER & BOK CHOY I never had a bad experience here.

Rosie Q.

Yelp
Copley's never disappoints!! The service is absolutely incredible and the vibe is the best. Every dish that came out was delicious. Short rib empanadas, salads with pineapple croutons, chicken schnitzel, filets, and desserts. Spectacular!! Wear layers as it can get super windy in that area at the base of the mountain. Staff has fuzzy blankets to hand out to guests who came unprepared for the chill book now!

Yelp
Wow! Copley's were the PERFECT place for NYE Dinner. Stellar ambiance, service and food from start to finish. Their NYE menu was delicious and well priced. The filet, lobster tail and branzino were fantastic. My husband and I will be coming back soon.

Yelp
The atmosphere in the outside front courtyard area is LOVELY at The Golden hour. Id always ask to sit outside, just bring something warm to cover up after the sun goes down. The servers are very experienced and lovely. The chef does a great job with most of the dishes. I had the seared ahi tuna with mango sauce...great. The martinis are very cold! Their specialty espresso martini is dreams worthy. Get it!!

Yelp
Great food attentive staff! Gets a bit loud indoors but overall good! There is outdoor dining available but when it's 110 degrees who wants that?

Yelp
3.45367 stars My family and I have made our rounds through the Palm Springs restaurant loop, so it was only natural we'd find ourselves at Copleys. The outdoor dining is gorg except the night we dined here, part of it was closed off for a private event, so it was only medium gorg. As with the space, we could only experience some of the menu - they literally ran out of everything meat related - the steak and meat special. It was rather disappointing. We started with the chicken & lemongrass potstickers ($18). The potstickers are stuffed with caramelized fennel ginger + onions, pickled mushrooms + miso on top of a sweet soy sauce + bacon dressing topped with crushed wasabi peas. These were Asiany in flavor, but there was nothing particularly memorable about them except that the wrapper to filling ratio was pretty good. You get 4 for $15 which is a little pricey, but I get it because Copley's is supposed to be fancy. I ordered the Roasted Australian Barramundi ($37). The fish sits on a bed of herb scented farro, asparagus tips, smokey romesco sauce, roasted tomatoes, basil pine nut mint + cilantro pesto. Description wise, there are a lot of flavors, however, the most distinct was the smokey romesco sauce which was an okay good pairing with the fish. Again, there was nothing memorable about my fish except that it was a very nice entree in a very nice restaurant. Copley's was a nice dining experience for both myself and my family, but it's not the kind of place I'd dine at again.

Yelp
Copley's is a lovely restaurant space just the right number of blocks away from the busiest section of Palm Canyon Drive, with their own parking lot to boot. They feature both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can choose between having a casual or more upscale experience. The wait staff is very well trained: friendly, professional, efficient and good at what they do. We arrived early for our reservation, so we posted up at the bar and ordered drinks. My martini was perfectly made, and bolstered by bleu cheese olives, while my wife's "Liz Is Plum Crazy" was a very flavorful update of a Cosmo. Once seated at our table, our server was attentive and gregarious, and very helpful with the menu (this was our first time eating here). To start, we shared the Hawaiian Ahi Poke Tacos -- very fresh, well-seasoned tuna served on sesame "taco shells" (much the same as the cones used for the same type of dish at Spago) with avocado crema and tobiko. These were excellent. Packed with flavor and very enjoyable -- so much so, I forgot to get a photo. On to the entrees. My wife ordered the Chicken Schnitzel, which is a very generous portion of pan-fried chicken cutlet served with veggies and a bed of refreshingly sharp goat cheese mashed potatoes, all topped with a bit of nicely acidic cranberry relish. A very good dish that neatly walked the line between old world comfort food and up-to-date cheffy fun. On the flip side, I opted for one of the nighty specials: Osso Buco, which was served with asparagus and traditional mashed potatoes. It was a beautifully composed plate, and the meat was very tender -- but, overall, the dish was lacking in flavor. The jus was just the right consistency, but added very little in terms of taste. Mind you, this dish was not "bad," it just didn't have that rich and comforting flavor one usually finds with Osso Buco. Despite this, I would happily return to Copley's for great drinks, those amazing ahi poke tacos, and to try something else from the selection of entrees. The meal may not have been perfect, but this was a perfectly nice way to spend the evening.

Yelp
What a hidden gem!!! Of course have driven by numerous times..but had no idea. We are on the patio....which we loved. The inside is beautiful too...just a different vibe. Food was AMAZING! Loved the tofu entree and the roasted cauliflower.

Yelp
This historic spot was a must dine when I was in Palm Springs. This restaurant sits on a for Cary Grants guest quarters. While I was told there's no remnants left of Cary grants home, it's still cool to be on his former property. We dined outside. But the decor is very cool if u decide to dine inside. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We started at app and drinks. They make a very good filthy martini. If you do t like olives, they have a sweet martini that is just as delicious. The menu is spendy. So several of us shared items and some ate an app for their entree. I splurged and had the beet salad and the barramundi. Forgot to take a pic. It was beautifully plated and delicious. The portions are small. They have gf and vegetarian options. The ladies restroom was very cute. Gotta check it. There may be more newer, less expensive restaurants, but just like Cary Grant it's a classic and worth it.

Yelp
Dinner at Copley's was... meh. The atmosphere isn't bad (a little boring indoors, but we ate outdoors and the courtyard area is somewhat nice...) Food wasn't bad, but also nothing noteworthy. We got: beet salad (the goat cheese brulee was very tasty), salmon and shrimp poke, and the branzino fish special of the evening. The salmon poke sauce could have been better... tasted exactly like watered-down teriyaki. It also could have come with some sort of starch (rice or chips, for example.) The branzino was cooked well, but was a tiny portion... Maybe 2-3 ounces of fish (though it did also come with two tiger prawns.) The cocktail menu didn't have very interesting drinks, but we got a couple anyway; they were kind of meh, especially for the price ($16-18 each ) The espresso martini was weak and watery, and the coffee in it didn't taste like espresso. We looked at the wine menu to have some with the meal, but a bottle I just bought at Albertson's for $17.99 was listed for $60 at Copley's, which told me everything I need to know about their wine prices (so we just had water with the meal.) Service was overall okay, after we sat there for quite a while before someone came to wait on us. Overall, there was nothing terrible about the experience, but it was overpriced and wasn't as special as I'd hoped it would be. Probably won't be back.

What an amazing dining experience! The history of Cary Grant's estate plus the awesome ambiance and fantastic food combined for an unforgettable night!

Yelp
Amazing service, not so great food. Since this place has such a great reputation, I had high expectations. The drinks were watered down, the meat was dry, food was bland, and portions were teeny tiny. Unfortunately I would not go back here. BREAD + BUTTER FOR TWO 10 Warm Focaccia | Assorted Ciabatta Rolls | Sea Salted Butter - i'm always salty when a nice place charges for bread. You should not be charging us for bread and the bread was absolutely nothing special. It wasn't even warm, it was just room temperature grocery store bread with plain old butter. At least warm it up and have a special butter if you're making me pay for it. CHEF'S CHOICE OF SOUP 14 - it was mushroom and this was good. TRIO OF HAWAIIAN AHI TACOS 22Avocado | Green Onion | Sesame Shell | Ginger Soy | Tobiko - tasted good but oh boy are these small and bite sized. You can't charge that much for this tiny portion. CRISPY EMPANADA 19Prime Braised Beef Short Ribs | Caramelized Onions | Horseradish Cream | Tomato Bacon Jam | Frisee - overrated. Too much crust and slightly dry meat. Not as dry as the pork but too dry. Also barely had any scream / jam and it needed that flavor. Same w onions, lacking overall. LOBSTER MAC N CHEESE 22Elbow Pasta | Lobster | Rich and Creamy Cheese Sauce | Parmesan Panko Crust - the best thing we ordered! ORGANIC GREENS & CRISPY BRIE 18 Yellow Beets | Cucumber & Tiny Tomatoes | Fresh Cranberry & Apricot Relish | Berries | Candied Walnuts | Lemon Oil - sounds better than it is in reality. The tiny strip of fried brie is good but the salad is so small we couldn't believe it. We are sharing for three people and everyone couldn't get a full portion. They were pretty stingy on the toppings as well and the lettuce was wilting CHARRED BERKSHIRE PORK CHOP 36   Sun Dried Apricots with Honey & White Balsamic | Asparagus | Creamed Baby Spinach | Cherry Pork Reduction - this was so dry! The meat was poor quality or overcooked, I don't know. But the meat was really dry and didn't have a great flavor anyways but could have just been ruined by the dryness. Special of the day - fish dish - bland and small portion. It came with rice I believe it was, plain white rice. Do not recommend Vanilla & Peach Crème Brulee with Fresh Berries - super bland and lackluster. Didn't taste the peaches at all Drinks - so watered down we questioned if there was alcohol in a few of them Service - excellent! Absolutely wonderful service. This is the only reason I gave them two stars, wonderful service

Yelp
We had the pleasure of dining here last night for a birthday. The GM Shannon & server Chad were outstanding. They fulfilled our special requests perfectly! Our party each ordered different entrees, all were phenomenal, as were our beverages. The dining area has a cozy & welcoming vibe which was very enjoyable. We look forward to returning and we highly recommend this fine establishment!

Yelp
We love it every time we come to Copley's. Tonight, we had the pleasure of sitting with Amine and could not have been happier or more impressed. His recommendation on wines and entrees was absolutely on point, and the friendly conversation and occasional jokes kept the night moving right along. The flow of the meal, the delivery, the presentation... everything! Absolutely perfect! Happy Birthday to you Amine!! I'm sorry you had to work tonight, but so glad to have met you. Until we meet again my friend.

Yelp
We have been coming here for almost 15 years now, and it is still one of our favorite Palm Springs restaurant when we're up for a bit of a splurge. We love the atmosphere, and the historic Cary Grant 1940s cottage and patio with the peaceful grassy courtyard and gorgeous views of the the sun setting over Mount San Jacinto. It is classic, classy, yet comfortable. The food, service, and hand-crafted cocktails are always well-done. It seemed like nearly every table had a martini on this steamy day in May that reached over 100 degrees. We happened to be here for Restaurant Week this year, and so got to take advantage of the 3-course menu for $59. I had the potstickers (pretty good, but wouldn't order again), the Scottish salmon w/ mashed potatoes and asparagus (excellent as always) and the toffee & date bread pudding w/ Tahitian vanilla ice cream (an extra $8; I'm not usually a desert person, but this was amazing!). My husband had the Coply's Caesar Salad which which was really flavorful; wasn't a fan of the "pineapple croutons," but rest was great), the Braised prime beef short ribs w/ lobster mashed potato, wild mushrooms and merlot sauce (extra $15) - oh my gosh - absolutely delicious, even the broccoli was so fresh and flavorful. He got the dessert duo of Apple Streusel and Chocolate Kahlua dome, pretty good, but the bread pudding was definitely the winner! Looking forward to returning!

Yelp
I have to say this was one of the best dining experiences I have had in the desert. The service, the food, the ambiance were all 5 star. Our server, DK was an absolute scream. He was engaging, happy, funny and explained everything on the menu while including his opinions (which all appeared accurate). We did not get bread service, which saved us carbs and money and we didn't have to waste our calories. We started with cocktails and DK suggested "Liz is plum crazy" - this was a fantastic cocktail. Perfectly prepared and very tasty! Next we had beet salad and tuna tacos. OMG there is a goat cheese soufflé that comes with the beet salad that is perhaps the best thing on the menu -- creamy, flavorful, perhaps a twist on a soufflé and a crème brûlée. Remarkable!! Pork chop (so says my dining parter was outstanding) and I had the tuna special which came with some perfect shrimp, veggies and a perfect slab of sushi grade tuna. It was absolutely top notch. Another diner reported that the branzino was fantastic and it looked like a portion for two people! No room for dessert but the sweets menu looked amazing. In my opinion, this is fine dining at its best. From the moment we were seated to the moment we left, it was a perfect meal. Ambiance, food, service and price were all fantastic. I would make this my regular spot.

Yelp
As a visiting family in Palm Springs, we made a reservation to celebrate a birthday one night. Upon arrival, there was a small parking lot for the restaurant itself so it was not hard to find parking at all, despite being downtown. Even the entrance itself is stunning. We loved the decor and use of lights, as well as the ambience that the heaters gave due to their flames. We were seated right away, in their outdoor seating which is the center of the place. This table was spacious and surrounded with 3 heaters. We actually asked for an additional heater mid-dinner as it was still very cold and initially was told that the manager would not allow it as a safety concern, but a couple minutes after, one of the employees (a manager/supervisor) brought another one over, which really helped. In addition, they also offered blankets since the beginning of the meal. This added to the mood of dinner and I loved that coziness to it. One of the most memorable parts of our night was the service. Our server was very well-versed with the menu and gave her recommendations in a very well-spoken way. She was very attentive to our needs throughout the night and even brought a complementary dessert for our birthday member! The other gentleman who was in charge of clearing the table was also very attentive and made sure to ask before taking items away. The manager/supervisor also came by to check on us often. We ordered a couple starters to share which was difficult since they're small plates but we didn't want to spoil our appetite for the mains. We managed to all taste a little of everything and everything was extremely flavorful and beautiful in presentation. The mushroom butter that was paired with the bread was so fragrant. The ahi tuna tacos were so small and left me wanting more! For my main, I ordered the New York Strip Steak, medium rare, which was paired with asparagus as well as Truffle Parm Fries. I highly recommend this dish as everything was well cooked and delicious. Portions were also very reasonable for the price. Another member at the table ordered their special which was paired with a lobster mac and cheese and that was such a nice pairing with the short ribs. To finish off the meal, I ordered the Sticky Pudding to share. Another highly recommended dessert as it was not too sweet and so yummy, especially paired with the Tahitian vanilla ice cream. Don't let the four $$$$ deter you from visiting as the food, ambience, and service is worth every penny.

Yelp
Wow! After years of meaning to try this beautiful restaurant in a property formerly owned by Cary Grant, and knowing Chef Copley is an award winning chef who has been here for twenty years, my husband and I finally had dinner here. Our high expectations were wildly surpassed. We were professionally seated at our choice of tables on the large patio facing the historic building with mountain views, totally walled off from Palm Canyon and the parking lot making for a quiet setting. A large wedding dinner taking place in the trellised back corner didn't disrupt the pleasant ambiance. Our beet salad came with a goat cheese creme brulee that was seriously flavorful. My salmon was perfectly grilled, and my husband's short ribs fell off the bone and very tasty. We shared the english toffee and date sticky pudding served with Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream, another perfect taste pairing. My Godiva chocolate martini was superb.

Yelp
Beautiful patio and house setting. Recommend the patio many outdoor heaters to keep you warm. This was Cary Grants former estate. Menu is continental. Heavy emphasis on meat dishes. Our server was Grace was an excellent server too! I ordered a Caesar salad with salmon. It was perfect Try the plum martini too!

Yelp
Another Palm Springs favorite! This was my second visit and it was better than the first. We had the trio taco appetizer, caesar salad, prosciutto salad and salmon with the lobster mashed potatos. Everything was fresh, perfectly delicious and completely satisfying. Our server, Bianca, gets a top tier rating, 10/10!

Yelp
The service was 5 stars, blow me away. The food was a little underwhelming unfortunately. :( We got the lemon potstickers, rolls for the table, and me and my partner split the Caesar salad and steak. The best thing by far were the chicken lemon stickers, they were so good and I HUGHLY recommend as an appetizer. Ambiance was cute as we sat outside but right next to the servers station so constant chatter and chaos in that area. Overall I would go back, our server was the best, I forget his name but he blew us away.

Yelp
One of our favorite places. Menu is well rounded, and interesting. They have a good wine and cocktail list. The setting is most charming . The service is impeccable. The staff is most knowledgeable and helpful when making your selection. Ask for Chad. Prices are not over the top. Fine food, fine setting and fine service.

Yelp
One of our go to restaurants when visiting Palm Springs from Orange County. What we can count on is amazing service, a beautiful setting and delicious food. Menu is often changing which is a good thing. On our latest trip for a family members birthday, I opted for the prime beef fillet (8oz). This was wrapped in apple bacon, served with fingerling potatoes and creamed spinach. This dish was delicious and cooked to my liking. Others in my family had the duck, pot roast, soup, and salmon. For dessert, we got the toffee & date English sticky pudding which was amazing like always. Can definitely share this with the table. And a chocolate souffle cake for the birthday guy. Both desserts were taken care of by the restaurant, which was a nice touch. Will be back when visiting the area again. Alex is a great server so try to get in her section if you can.

Yelp
The food was exquisite - Special Braised Short Ribs with Lobster Mashed Potatoes with a mushroom reduction sauce! Also another special - Seared Ahi Tuna! And a menu dish - a delish salmon dish! The appetizer Chicken & Lemongrass pot stickers were a great start! Charley was our great Server and was so efficient and aware of our every need! We had a lovely indoor table looking out at the center fountain and the outdoor dinning area! Copleys is one of our favorite Restaurants in the Valley!

Yelp
Best Short ribs we have ever had, they melted in our mouth. We started our meal with The Kentucky Manhattans and they did not disappoint The mushroom soup which was today's special was outstanding with the truffle glaze. The tuna was exceptional, the sesame crust with the wonderful sear was delicious. To finish we had the sticky toffee pudding which devoured by our table. The cherry on the top was our amazing waiter DK he was absolutely a delight. We can't wait to return again next year!!

Yelp
This was the first time we ate at Copley's. I always heard that it was an outstanding restaurant. We were greeted warmly by the Host, Chad, who escorted us to our table and interacted with us and other guests several times during the evening. Our server came to our table and informed us since it was towards the end of the season, there were some items on the menu that were not available. My salad which included a brie croquette was nicely presented but the dressing was tasteless. My Duck entrée was a sizeable portion, but the duck was dry and could have used more spicing and an appropriate sauce. The vegetables that accompanied the duck were not what I was expecting. Broccoli Florets and Red Bliss Potatoes that were heavily scented with cumin. No one at the table ordered bread, yet they brought bread to our table. We told the busboy that we did not order the bread and butter, but he never took it back. We assumed at this point that it was complimentary, but we were charged 10.00 for it which was the price on the menu. We paid it but in retrospect should have objected to the charge. We ordered the Chocolate "Souffle" for dessert. When it came to the table it was not a souffle at all but a chocolate Lava Cake. What a disappointment! I am sorry we did not return it. When the waiter asked us if we liked the desserts, we told him that it was not a chocolate souffle. The waiter said," Oh, it's a mock souffle". If Copley's does not want to call it a lava cake, the description on the menu should not refer to it as a chocolate "Souffle". The lava cake was on the cold side so the chocolate was not oozing out of the cake, as it typically would. For all the hype about Copley's, I have to say, we were a bit underwhelmed. For the price we paid, the meal should have been exquisite, but it fell flat.

Yelp
First time at Copley's for me and my two friends. Upon entering we were impressed by the very nice ambiance. Waiter was attentive and helpful. The food was average to mediocre. I had the pork chop which had a very impressive presentation. I was eager to cut into it. As I cut pieces off I noticed that they were very fatty and grisly. In fact, there were probably 3 small bites of meat on the whole chop. I left a large pile of inedible fat and gristle on the plate. How can any chef in good conscience serve up such a fatty terrible pork chop? Because this was a reunion of old friends I didn't say anything as I didn't want to interrupt our fun time together. My friend had the seafood fettuccini. He said it was just okay and was rather light on the seafood. Other friend had the chicken schnitzel which he said was excellent. His goat cheese potatoes were excellent as well. On the positive side, my desert breeze cocktail was very good. We had the empanadas for the appetizer and they were delicious. In fact, we ordered a second portion because they were so good. The spinach that came with the fatty pork chop was very good. Now the bread. Ten dollars for a basket of 4 small pieces of bread? Ouch. It was no better than any bread you can buy in a grocery store. Waiter asked us if we wanted a second basket. Complementary? Nope. Another ten dollars. No thank you In summary, for what we got, this place was way overpriced and average quality at best.

Yelp
Copelys did it again!!! Beautiful ambiance! Romantic and SOOO Palm Springs feeling. The GM is Shannon and she is always so personally welcoming, friendly, accommodating and so fun. She makes every customer feels like a VIP. She is checking on every table to ensure perfect service and food experience. She pays attention to every detail and so cares about every aspect of the dining experience. The food is the best in Palm Springs. We had the salmon and WOW, it was so delicious. We tell everyone we know and anyone who will listen :) to enjoy an evening in the perfect Palm Springs setting. No wonder they are always booked. THANKS Shannon again for a perfect evening and no, I am not a relative :) She is just the best !!!!

Yelp
Finally had a chance to dine here last week and I was hoping for better. Apparently housed in the former Cary Grant PS residence, the setting is so ideal/iconic Palm Springs with its open courtyard, mid century tones and stunning landscape background. The hostess stand waiting area is inviting in and of itself. Unfortunately thats where the allure kinda stopped for me. The hostess clearly wants to be sure everyone is made to feel welcome however it comes across as intense at times. The food itself is fair at best - reminded me of dining at a banquet hall or hotel function - the quality and consistency was very overcooked and oxersauced with no real apparent flavor. I had the tuna cones appetizer which were perhaps the worst I've ever had and my salmon was drenched in what seemed to be bbq sauce. I found it offensive they charge $10 for ciabatta rolls they picked up from Sysco food purveyors. I can recommend this location for drinks set in their cute bar in the center of the former house or for dessert however it's a likely skip for food otherwise. Helpful hint - if you see one of the 1001 bachelorette parties that roam through town and this restaurant, ask to be seated elsewhere as you will be thoroughly annoyed.

Yelp
Great food and menu. Service was excellent. The ambience was lovely... we were on the patio. I look forward to going back.

Yelp
Love this place! Wouldn't change a thing. Food and drinks were perfect, and our server was very personable.

Yelp
Copleys was the best restaurant we went to while on vacation in Palm Springs. The service was exceptional, Ambiance is surprisingly fun-primarily the seating is outside in a large courtyard with patio heaters. Our food was amazing as well, I am extremely sad that I forgot my phone in the hotel and was not able to take pictures. I ordered the Prime Beef Filet, it was amazing. My husband ordered the Short Rib with Lobster Mashed Potatoes and he loved it! Highly recommend stopping by this restaurant if you are in the area!

Yelp
So, on an impromptu mini road trip out of the city with my friend, we stopped by the outlets and were getting hungry and parched. While driving to Palm Springs (she's never been here before), she found this place and read to me the mini history. I loved it and here we are! Parking was a little tight but that's good news! It's a popular place and that means food is good. Upon entry, we saw a beautiful garden-like dining with guests happy and eating yummy-looking food. We were able to enjoy the ambience and the views before we were greeted to be seated. I enjoyed chatting with the lady behind us. She lives nearby and recommended the fish. We were seated by Drew and he was very attentive the whole time. Our server was Charlie. Very humble and hardworking. Sweet guy. We ordered our drinks: My friend - Greygoose shot with ice and lime wedge Me - Pinot Grigio from Italy (Bocelli Operetta - Venezie, Italy). Very refreshing and buttery. We also had sparkling water with lime wedges. Appetizers: The Prosciutto with melon and burrata was surprisingly delicious and a great start to dinner. Never ate melon with prosciutto before but I've always loved burrata with heirloom tomato and prosciutto. The mashed avocado and micro basil as well as the lemon olive oil was such a nice and refreshing flavor. We also thought about ordering the chilled chef's soup. It's made with butternut squash and Granny Smith apples. But that's for another day. In the meantime, we ate the "Bread & Butter" (see pics) and let me tell you... their housemade cornbread was orgasmic! The rosemary bread was so delicious too! For dinner, we ordered: Me - The honey seared duck breast, which tasted and looked like juicy steak! I ordered it the way the chef recommended. Delicious! My friend - (Originally the Barramundi aka Sea Bass but switched) Pomegranate glazed Scottish Salmon, which was so tender and juicy. The asparagus was huge! And the farro was added so that was filling. (I just tried a bite) Throughout the night, the service has been great! I wish we could've stayed the whole weekend! Be sure to check out my pics. I highly recommend coming here for date night, intimate night with friends, a small party or even alone time. ‍ They have a full bar! Will definitely come back! Please send our compliments to the chef!

Yelp
Over the years, I've noticed this restaurant tucked away back off of the road, but this was my first time here. I had passed it while walking to get coffee, and promised myself to finally give it a try. As you approach the main entrance to the restaurant, you'll notice the delicious smoky smell of cooking meats and see the clouds of mist from the patio seating. I was dining alone, so I headed inside and requested bar seating. The bar is small - just six or seven seats, but quaint. Conducive to polite conversation with your neighbours. The menu and wine list are both interesting, and offer a variety of options, including a few vegan and vegetarian plates. I had a dirty gin martini, a glass of Malbec, and the muscovy duck, with broccoli. Everything was delicious. My neighbour was drinking a "Liz is Plum Crazy" plum / pomegranate cocktail which looked delicious. I wish I had had room for dessert. But I will definitely be back for another meal. The service from start to finish was prompt and friendly. Staff appears very happy and focused on customer service.

Yelp
Sometimes I think reviewers can mistake nice people for good service. While the people working here are delightful, I found the table service a bit wanting. The waiter was super nice, but I'd have liked more polish and attention at these prices. The food was good. We were warned that Palm Springs "is not a food town". This place was better than OK. Decent service + pretty good food + excellent atmosphere = a very nice evening. And the bar tender serves a healthy pour.

Yelp
Unique setting with mostly wide open courtyard seating, perfect for a spring evening. Service is very good with knowledgeable waitstaff and you can't go wrong with any of their well designed dishes. Great for a special occasion but fine for a drink and appetizer, too. We've been going there for 15+ years and never have had anything but a great time.

Yelp
I had always wanted to try this place. I finally did tonight and it was a huge disappointment. The food wasn't that great. It was bland, dry and not pleasant. We had the ahi tacos, pot stickers and bread to start. The tacos were so tiny, they were a joke. The pot stickers and bread were the best thing, even better than the entrees. We had the Australian Barramundi and the smoked duck with a lobster tail on the side. The Barramundi wasn't bad but the sides that they paired it with were awful. The smoked duck was nasty along with the pancake thing they served along with it. The lobster tail was dry and gross too. What was worse than the food was the service. Some might like it, but they were OVER attentive. There were about 7 different people that came to check on us in addition to our waiter who came to check on us countless times. They came not just to check on us, but to take away each single plate or single utensil as we finished. We couldn't have a peaceful conversation without being continually interrupted. The outdoor patio was very nice. Great ambiance.

Yelp
Excellent bread and meats, fish but octopus was so overcooked; it was hard to even chew. The Greek salad with the fine Baramundi was inedible. The desserts were also good. Overall we thought it was a good dinner but for the price disappointing. But not as disappointing as our neighboring table whose diners walked out. So choose well for dinners out in PS. There are many excellent restaurants for similar pricing and atmosphere

Yelp
Was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. We were seated on their huge patio - it was quite pleasant (trees and misters abound). The meni was was diverse but not overly extensive (see photo below). I selected the Salmon. Outstanding taste and perfect flakey texture. The asparagus was crisp and the potato was neither firm nor mushy. The filet was perfect Pittsburg, charred but rare. The accoutrements were similarly excellent. Service was prompt and courteous. They were a little aggressive in filling the water glasses, but it's hard to ding them for that.

Yelp
Kind of an old school vibe. Older customers professional class customers. The food is excellent. Especially anything with fish. Most dishes are both artistic in presentation and a creative mash up of different cooking styles. Solid wine list. Great service. If the weather is good def recommend sitting outside.

Yelp
Had a very nice date night at Copleys. Our server was extremely attentive and catered to all of our needs. Had a really strong Bloody Mary to start the evening. All of the entrees were cooked to perfection. They have a seasonal menu so everything you see on Yelp might not be available. The majority of the seating is outside in a courtyard type area. In the summer they have misters. This is a romantic place to take a special someone.
