Copper Blues could easily be THE happening place in town. Even during the time when bars were half empty, you could not find an open spot in there. I even went by there one Sunday early afternoon and if asked me, it was the same crowd as the night before who forgot to go home. It is one non-stop partying location, the like of which are not found frequently in South Florida, especially since the pandemic.
On weekends they have good bands playing great music, and even if the band is not playing, the DJ keeps the party going. They have two bars, one by the stage and one further back, and yet finding a spot by the bars can be challenging.
I haven't gone there as often as I would like to but they used to have country nights on certain nights of the week (what a concept, country nights in the heart of Doral) and special events on big nights like New Year's Eve. The place is large but always packed and on those special nights, even more crowded.
Copper Blues is fun and I always have a good time there. The crowd is pretty young, but I go there with my group, so it is ok. Just remember, it can get pretty wild in there. Pre Covid,, when they played Fireball by Pitbull, the bartenders used get on top of the bar, dance, and pour Fireball down the throat of anyone who opened his/her mouth. I am not sure if they do that anymore, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did. Nothing surprises there, hence the fun.
