Copper Cove Restaurant & Lounge

My husband brought me to this restaurant on Saturday 1-17-26 to try something different as a early celebratory dinner for our anniversary. Upon walking in the door, we were met by the young lady at the entrance. She pointed us in the direction where to sit, we got our seats and that was the end of the interaction with the staff. We sat there for about 15-20 mins, nobody came to us. The bar staff was tending to customers at the bar and rest of the staff just walking back and forth, no one came out to take our drink orders or anything. It's like we were invisible. We eventually stopped a waitress walking by and asked who is assigned to serve our table. Her response was "do you know what you want"? I can put your order in and we'll figure out who your waitress is". My husband and I looked at each other and we both decided we were going to leave. The sad part was as we were leaving and complaining about the dismissive and poor attitude of the staff, we told by another staff member they are that way because they did not feel like being bothered. My response was, well they should have stayed home, because with that attitude, I do not feel like handing my money over to someone giving me shitty service. After that exchange we left, It's bad enough you had to pay the valet $25 for them to park your car! I am all about supporting a black business but I will not support poor service. Your staff looked and acted like they did not want to be there, and we chose not to spend our money there for that very reason. Customer service was very poor and we will not return.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience really needs to be shared. From the beginning, the service was extremely slow. We were seated, but no one came to greet us or take our order. After waiting for a while, we had to stand up and look for a waiter ourselves. When we finally placed our order, it took a long time to arrive, and it was incomplete. The rest of the order came later. The drink options were very limited, and they didn’t have what we wanted, so we ended up drinking only water. At checkout, we paid and even left a tip. Later, I realized the total seemed too high, so I went back politely to ask for the receipt. The waiter avoided eye contact and acted as if she didn’t see me, even though I was standing there waiting. When I finally asked calmly for the receipt, her attitude completely changed. She seemed annoyed, showed me a screen with no clear information, and said she could no longer see the details. I was not being difficult. Asking for a receipt after paying is completely normal. The contrast was noticeable: when it was time to pay and tip, the service was friendly. When I asked a legitimate question, the attitude became dismissive…….

Disgusting customer service, whoever the guy that comes out twisting really hard serving the food but says he’s not a server attitude is horrible, I was scared to order something else I thought he was going to do something to my food. Other waitress who took our order was also frustrated, confused rude, mind you she had a face only a mom can love so her attitude made it much worse. Food came out cold, macaroni looks like it comes out of a can and the mash potatoes looks like baby food. Oh, and they didn’t have any shrimp batter so we could not get our order after waiting 1 hour. GM body is really bad but she had a better attitude than the others. 1/10 would not recommend

From before the moment I walked through the door I was treated like I was one of there own. The security guard Crucial was real chill, came in and was greeted by nothing but smiles and greetings. I was met at the door by the manager Morgan, who was very welcoming and pleasant and helped me to the bar. Cierra was my bartender and took the best care of me. I’m a simple guy but even with my simple request she was on point and quick with the most pleasant attitude and beautiful smile. Even the server and barback were cool even though I didn’t get a chance to shop with them, thank you Jenna & Champ!!! I will definitely try to come back and spend money with them!

Past few times I’ve came to Copper Cove I didn't enjoy it. Both hostesses had ATTITUDES. Beautiful waitresses but they had ATTITUDES. Is life really that bad? Always out of something on the menu. I brought my friend here for the second time hoping we would have a better experience than our initial visit a few months ago…and she was looking at me like I was crazy. Who wants to come spend money and all the staff mad? Theres a male waiter who looks middle eastern…he is the absolute sweetest every time i come through and Security team is also always exceptionally kind. Probably won’t be back for a while….i dont recommend unless you want to leave mad with an attitude like the staff.

The staff was friendly and professional. The drinks were on point. My lamb chops was delicious but over cooked . ask for medium well and it was very well done. the mac was delicious but reheated too long. definitely a good hangout spot with good vibes.

Had an amazing experience here! I was accidentally served by Jay, and honestly, it was the best. Jay was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made the whole visit feel special. The food, drinks, and vibe were top-notch — but Jay’s service took it to another level. Definitely coming back!

Met my bestie here on a Saturday night for a late dinner/outing. Got there close to 9pm. The only parking option was valet, and it was $40.00, which was a little pricy, imo, but I was on the verge of hangry, so I just paid. Upon entering, the hostess was cute & bubbly. The decor was catchy and cute as well. Once sat, our server Juwan came out immediately! He was very energetic, knowledgeable, and attentive. He suggested the chicken tacos, so we both ordered them with a side of seasoned fries ( they were out of the truffle fries, sadly). We decided to order hookah bc the prices were quite fair. Drea took care of us, and the flavor was spot on. The music was amazing! I was singing all night, lol! The tacos were so good that we ordered another round to split along with more seasoned fries. SMH. An added bonus is that the bathrooms were clean! Overall, it was an amazing night out. I definitely hope to return soon.
