An excellent distillery with Old Fashioned flights and spirit tastings. Our teenagers were welcome and it was perfectly chill for a Saturday afternoon. Be advised there is a drink maximum so you aren't able to try both flights and have a cocktail, but its definitely a place you could come back to again and again.

My brother told us about Copper Fox as he and my sister in law stayed at the former Lord Pageants Inn many times in the '80's. What a fantastic time we had. Scott (one of the owners) did our tour. He was fabulous. It was so interesting to hear and see how whisky and bourbon is made. It was a blast from the past that this was a hotel at one time and now has been repurposed for the distillery. I came to this distillery for a weekday tour while visiting Williamsburg. The buildings are so cool (formerly a hotel with several detached buildings). The tour was $10, super interesting, and totally worth it. The bar is nice and service was great!

This is a great way to spend afternoon in Williamsburg! Very detailed tour through all stages of bourbon production and charming property with history. From the beginning you feel enchanted with wooden entrance,chandelier and cute foxes figurines. Bourbon tasting after tour was a wonderful treat with discounted price when you pay for tour. Highly recommend this tour for adults.

Gabe, Jesse, and Brie were all amazing hosts during our visit to Copper Fox! From the hands-on distillery tour, to the delicious drinks and fun conversation, this was definitely a top 3 highlight of our Virginia trip! Can’t wait to come back!

Our tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He really made sure we had all of our questions answered and was efficient and funny with his tour delivery. Then we got a discount on whiskey flights at the end! Definitely worth the price of admission

Excellent distillery, awesome venue with fast and friendly service and lots of great drink options. Can't go wrong with anything, especially enjoyed the Old Fashioned flight and New Town Sour! Crackers and pimento cheese to nibble on with our drinks was great, too. Update 05/2025 - made a return visit to one of our favorite distilleries, still rocks! Piha Painkiller tastes exactly like what a painkiller made with whisky should, well-crafted and perfectly balanced. Same goes for the lychee martini, an excellent cocktail! They were very busy and apologetic for the wait, which wasn't even that long, but we appreciated their concern as they were clearly hustling all around serving all the customers.
