Really cool ambiance! I tried 8 beers (flights are 4 each) and I was pretty impressed by a few of them. The Cherry Wheat, Hop Circle, and Vanilla Porter in particular were stand out. The "How Many Licks" sour was super good as well. Service was excellent, and we had a really good time. There's multiple indoor and outdoor areas so lots of options. All of them were really nicely set up! Definitely recommended!

Outstanding brewery with top notch service - each and EVERY visit. They know how to run a business and pride themselves on good beer and even better service. With food trucks 6 days a week and live music once a week we are there weekly. We adore this place and always feel welcomed and at home here. In the Summer, the outdoor space makes it even better and the mural on the wall is a must see. Can’t say enough good things about this brewery.

Metro Detroit Brewery Discovery Tour stop # 29 (?). I like this place. The vibe is cool, relaxing. The main space is large with two separate outdoor seating areas. The south-facing area has several umbrellas for shade plus a covered area for less clement weather, I assume. The east-facing area is smaller but completely covered and has a heater to boost itsusuable time. 3 garage doors make the 2 sides & indoors one big space under the right conditions. Then there is the other side. Accessed thru a door, it has its own outside space as well, also on the east side, also with a garage door. (Both spaces face Greater Mack for the directionally challenged.) The bar is big, spanning two sides of the indoor space. For those in wheelchairs, the access from the huge rear parking area is easy. The lot is smooth, the interior floor is, as well. The only bump, literally, is the threshold and it's only about 1/2". Relatively smooth sailing, I venture. The music is a touch too loud with 10 people here on a Saturday afternoon. Good, but loud. Once more people arrived, say 25, the ambient noise got off the scale and the music is almost indiscernable. Despite the mid-80s temperature, I had to retreat to the quieter outside to avoid an impending headache. The beer is solid though of the six I had none were actual standouts. No food truck seen. But there are several restaurants close by.

Copper Hop was absolutely such a perfect place for my daughter’s baby shower! Lauren my hostess, Ryan my contact for planning were both the best. With The brewery next door that has great atmosphere🍻

Gorgeous Brewery with huge seating areas indoor/outdoor patio. I love the coppertop bars & walls and beautiful mugs adorning the location. The options are simple and alil bit of everything. The standout beer was Hop Circles IPA, and it seems like hard ciders are the local fan favorites. I'd like to see more options and a big BA stout! 🙏 worth the stop overall, but beer snobs might be found wanting! Look forward to visiting again

Great new brewery! A lot of staff who were attentive, friendly, and prompt. Flights available to try 4 different beers. Liked tasting different varieties; but of the ones I tried, I liked the porter and Hefeweissen the most! Cool atmosphere with the bar, garage doors, dart boards, large seating area, and industrial accents. Excited to check it out during the warmer months and try the outdoor seating area in the front!

Went in to see Stereobabe live. Music was awesome! Service was good, the servers walked the floor constantly. One huge down side, they don't have any non-alcoholic options. My husband has been sober for 3years and I'm pregnant so we had a coke, ate some some food truck food, and left. Food truck was Phat Rob's Food Love. Food was good. Had to go outside to order but they brought the food in which was nice. I had the cheese burger and husband had the El Diablo and a side of fries to share. I would go back to see live music again.

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to take a friend to check out Copper Hop in May 2021. Not to sound biased or anything, but Michigan does have the best beer in the country. I challenge anyone who says otherwise. That being said, I have gone to some new breweries in the last couple of years that have been awful. When I say awful, I’m talking solely about the beer. So you can see how driving an hour or so away to not be disappointed, in fact quite the opposite, is not only a relief, but a rather enjoyable experience I want to go back to. I appreciate the fact that Copper Hop offers a variety of beer styles and does a great job with each and every one of them! I look forward to returning. Who wants to go with me? 😉

Looking for a local go-to brewery in The Shores? Look no further. The industrial flair with heavy wood accents in their spacious taproom adds the perfect unique vibe. The simplicity of their draft set up with a copper backsplash is ideal because their beers speak for themselves, both in name and flavor. Not a fan of beers? They've still got you covered with wine and cider. There's something for every palate. Can't decide?Enjoy an entire flight! Their staff is knowledgeable and inviting. My two favorites currently include a red ale called What Is That, Velvet? and a Belgian Dubbel called Two Yutes. Everyone appreciates a rotating food truck schedule and they do not disappoint. Icing on the cake- their menu is linked to one of my favorite apps--Untapped!

I want to preface this statement by saying I do like copper hop and of course will visit again. However, my boyfriend and I ordered a few beers over the few hours that we were there and my boyfriend ordered the same beer 3x yet, each time it came to our table it looked different (I.e. looked like a hazy vs an American IPA vs something else). Regardless we had fun and the live music/food truck was nice.

Always a great time coming here! Usually a pretty busy place, when sitting inside, try to get there before the dinner rush. It can be loud inside, so not ideal for kids, but when the outside is open and the weather is nice, it's perfect! The food truck selection is always good!

Ambiance- You're greeted by a dozen or so screaming kids inside. It's like kinder-care orientation. The beer is alright, nothing special. Thank goodness for the heated patio and dogs being there. I wouldn't stretch plans to make this place work.

Writing a review on the service and the beer. There was a street fair. Just went n to grab a beer to drink while outside listening to the band. Had the Das Hefe really smooth beer. Bartender did a great job with line of people waiting to grab their beers. Would like to go in for a full service.

I just LOVED it here!! It is crazy that I have never been!! I have been whining about this fact for quite some time. We first planned to hang out in Rochester. But the weather was not looking like it was going to cooperate. So he suggested we finally go to SCS and grab a few tagabrews (for me, he already has them). We were happy that they all participated in the hop passport too! Walking in I was immediately impressed by the ambiance! It was beautifully decorated! Copper everywhere. There was a huge outdoor area, and cozy couches and chairs to curl up in and chat. We sat at the bar at first but then he asked for some darts and took me over to the dart board. The dart board is located in the back by the kegs and brewing equipment. There is a little table back there. It was the perfect spot to spend some alone time together and just enjoy each other's company. He beat me if course. He beats me at everything. But we always have fun either way! I absolutely loved this spot and can't wait to come back on a sunny day (if we ever get any! What a rainy summer!) And enjoy a beer on the patio!

Great service great atmosphere. My favorite is the Das Hefe Hefeweizen. The Pint Break tastes more like a cider than a blonde ale. Late To The Party German blonde lager is just that, tastes like late to the mouth. Ok taste but totally flat.

Just an update......Copper Hop is "HOPPING"!!!!! I can't believe how busy it is but then again, everyone is looking to celebrate some holiday cheer! I needed to grab a few growlers, as gifts, for the Craft Beer Lovers in my life and of course I needed to sample one on the heated patio. This place is impressive!!! They have heaters spaced out every few feet and plenty of tables. They also have food trucks on a regular schedule to serve some warm comfort food on chilly nights; tonight was "Taco Tuesday"....yummy! Please pack your patience & an extra smile :) as it is quite busy this week. If you are looking for a gift that will bring instant joy and happiness.....a growler filled with Copper Hop beer is an excellent choice. So, go out and support your local businesses and give a gift that they can keep on "filling" all year long! lol

Lovely warm inviting. Patio and bar. Heated seating out front and garage door for summer. Spot for food trucks that show up on the weekend. Some lovely beers- two yutes! A fantastic dubbel, and pinchers of peril- a great IPA. There was a sour that I really liked and now cannot remember the name (bad reviewer!) nice atmosphere to play cards, drink beer, and meet some new folks. A tater tot truck came the night I visited - quick painless order via phone and pick it up just outside when notified. They have a tag if you're into that from local breweries. Also growlers to go, tshirts and swag.

Best brewery in the Shores! Great selection of brews that are consistently being rotated. Their ciders are fantastic and love that they use real ingredients instead of extracts! Friendly staff and ample comfortable seating. Love the atmosphere and the music the staff plays.

Walked on a Saturday afternoon sat at the bar server asked us if we we're ready said we needed a minute to look at the menu waited for 15 minutes and no one came back. So we got up and left.

If you're looking for a great atmosphere with superb libations, you've come to the right place. Situated at the end of a strip of stores, Copper Hop delivers big flavors with their beers and ciders. One of my personal favorites is the Two Yutes which is a Belgian Dubbel which has a smooth finish and is named after a line off of one of my favorite movies. Local traffic is my second fav which I'm hoping comes back on rotation soon. The beers and cider switch up with a few staples which always stay on tap. We usually come in for a growler fill or a crowler - which you can split between two people. I'm a member of the Founding Mugs Club, so I always get to drink out of my mug when we come in for a drink! Absolutely love this place, and they also have food trucks which rotate on different days. Great beer. Great Owners. Great Location!

Watch your credit card. Got my card back paid cash for my tab, then got credit card statement and they charged that too. Sorry I don't tip $30 on a $25 tab. Especially not for the service you get from the snotty waitress

Part of a huge strip mall complex with a huge parking lot. For some reason the back of the building facing the huge lot is unmarked, unlike the other stores in the strip mall. Inside is a great, bright, clean space, with the brewing area, a dart area, huge, clean and bright restrooms, and the tap room. The taproom is a large space, with a bar on two walls, a TV style beer menu, and some sports TVs. Clean, modern, slick. The bartender was great. The patrons were great. The beer isn't great. The brown was pretty good, the Hefeweizen was okay. The two IPAs and the pale were bad. You can't be a post 2000 brewpub with bad IPAs. These were bad. I wanted to love this great location.

Great ambiance outdoors and good beers. I had a light beer (mill street) and a red (did you take my stapler?). Good service and always appreciate the digital menu.

A year or so ago I gave these guys a 4 star review, only reason it was 4 not 5 is because I felt another brewery I went to "3 Floyds" in Indiana was what I consider a 5star. So I've been a regular here, and honestly, everything these guys come up with is smooth and perfectly flavored, and the 5 star has been earned. I don't have a "go to" when I get here other than "what's the newest beer" You should go!

Great beer and excellent venue. A great addition to St. Clair Shores and pretty close to Baffin, Jamex, and Dragon's Landing.

I was sad to see Vitamin Village leave this spot, but having Copper Hop take its place has been amazing and by far my favorite brewery and establishment in the Shores. The brewery is very spacious, ample parking, and there are two outdoor patios to enjoy. The best part of the outdoor space is that it's located on Greater Mack, so there is so much less noise from the road as opposed to the other breweries in the area. I litterally feel at peace being here. The atmosphere and decor is definitely my jam and taste. The seating is extremely comfortable. I will leave other breweries and my legs will feel bruised the next day because the seating is not like what this place offers. Even when this place is busy, it's still easy enough to chat with your party and not have to yell over the noise. The music is always on point no matter what time of day you stop in! The employees are efficient, caring and friendly. They don't make you feel unwelcome ever. Not only all of this, but their beers, wines and ciders are seriously some of the best. I normally stick to ciders and wow, never had one yet I didn't like. They do not taste artificial and you know they are using real ingredients and not flavorings to change it up. They actually listen to their patrons too and take up suggestions. We suggested Raquel's Cocina (YUM) one time after we had went to another brewery where their food truck was and then came to Copperhop to drink. We raved about them to the staff and not long after, they have been having Raquel's foodtruck frequent their place. My boyfeand & I also just joined their mug club that is rolling out, so we are super excited for it! If you looking for a nice atmosphere, friendly people and great tasting drinks, this is the place to be. Hands down. Give it a try. You won't regret it.

We stopped by this spot recently and were impressed. Huge indoor area with plenty of spaced tables. Masks inside unless sitting at your table. Large outdoor area as well. Super friendly staff that was very helpful in making choices. They are doing flights here, so we got to try a pretty good swath of their offerings. The cherry porter was quite good (Cherry Good C.O.P.), their strawberry wine was quite clean and flavorful, and their mango and peach ciders were all very good. The rest was not overwhelming, but I really enjoyed the diversity (wide beer selection, wines, and ciders), the staff and service were great, and the huge place really enabled us to space out from other people. Will definitely come back!

Want a good beer? Don't come here. Want GREAT BEERS??? This is the place for you. The only thing better than the drinks is the service. Wow these people make you feel like family when you come in, it's like CHEERS. Thank you for being such a great place to hang out and drink delicious beers.

Stopped in for a cider and wasn't feelIng the latest batch. I spoke to the bar tender and he happily got me a different drink and explained why the cider was different this time around. I just really appreciated the candid explanation and friendly replacement. The employees at CHB have been amazing every time we have gone. 2-20-20: Strawberry cider is out and it's AMAZING! There's a peach one coming out this week... 3-26-20: With the EO, our friends at CH brewery are promoting order ahead or order in the shop and they bring out crowlers and growlers to your car. They have merchandise for sale too!! Let's keep this awesome addition to our brewery community supported!! By the way, pineapple cider DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!

I've been to this establishment a couple times so far; once on the weekend and another midday. The one Friday night the place was very busy and we were lucky enough to get a table. Even though it was pretty packed, the service was good. All the employees and owner(s) are very nice and will go out of their way to ensure your experience is on point. They have a large selection of beers, so hopefully you find one you like. I haven't had the opportunity to try any of the food, but that will have to wait for another day. The place has a "brewery" ambience to it. They will have a mug club in the future, but it seems a bit complicated and pricey....not sure how it will roll out. In all, it's worth a stop in and see what they have to offer....

The Copper Hop has delicious beer, great company and a perfect setting. I love hitting this place up for a pint or 10. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone near and far.

Great beer selection, Good beer. but the name should be Copper hop club. Loud music, if I wanted to hear Justin Timberlake I would go to a club. Music was load so customers were louder. If you have been to traditional brewery's in the area and enjoy the atmosphere your in for a surprise at Club Copper Hop. I do like load music just not at my Brewery. The place is set up real cool and is clean and very nice inside. Just lose the club music trust me I Guarantee I'm not the first one to say this.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Having been there only once I can't give it 5 stars, BUT what I can tell you is that "they had me at first sip." Atmosphere is fun. Loved the copper design elements on the walls and tables, and the service was fast and friendly. ...and the BEER? I was impressed for sure. The menu had my attention right away because they had a Double IPA and a Belgian Style Dubbel - some of my favorites. Also every beer my wife and I tried in the flight we ordered we would happily order a pint of, and that's saying something. Check it out.

Newly opened craft brewery with a story of friendship that led to this cool atmosphere microbrewery in St. Clair Shores. Currently 10 beers on tap, will have a patio with garage doors that will be awesome in the summer, located on a great "downtown" feel of a street, and friendly staff serving up your choice of great Michigan Beer.

Beer is pretty solid. Staff is great and both the i side and patio are great settings. Been there multiple times and never had anything short of a great experience I've yet to eat there so my review is just the drinks and environment.

Great brewery... one of the best in metro Detroit and tied for my top 2 breweries in St. Clair shores! They have a great selection of beers (not just IPAs!). The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend Copper Hop brewery.

One of our absolute favorite spots! I am not a huge beer drinker but I LOVE their beer. Everyone that works there is so pleasant and chill. Even on their opening night when they were swamped they had good service. They don't have food but they usually have a food truck and they allow you to bring in carry out.

I love this place! The staff, atmosphere, drinks and all the assorted food trucks that come are absolutely amazing. My favorite place to send my friends to enjoy a great time! Love you guys

Copper Hop gave me and 2 friends the opportunity to meet for some beers on a pleasant winter afternoon outside when evil Governor Gretchen had shut the hospitality industry down. The selection of beers was spectacular. The quality as well. They have set their parking lot up with tables and propane heaters like it was an every day thing. Lots of tables lots of heaters. Could not have been a better experience!

First time here. A friend of mine did the build on this place and spoke very highly of the business on social media. So the wife and I came in this past Saturday, February 8. The place was packed. You have no idea what we walked into. Standing room only. It's almost as if the success of this place was underestimated and they didn't build it big enough. Staff was trying so hard to keep up. They ran out of a couple brews we wanted to try. We found a couple of spots at the bar that just happened to open up. Once we grabbed our seats it took a good bit to get service. I honestly was ready to blast them on Yelp. But it was a mad house. Suddenly it started to empty out just enough for staff to catch up. Food truck was great and the beer was very good. Still a little chaotic until we left. But it just goes to show you when people find a good thing they pack the place. 4 stars for now until I get to try some more of the brews. We will be back to give you a chance at a fifth star. Staff behind the bar were great. Even one if the owners was waiting on us. You need more help behind the bar if you continue to pack them in. Definitely more seating needed if possible. Summer will be better with the patio.

The Copper Hop Brewery Company is one of the best establishments that has come into SCS. Ryan, one of the owners, is extremely professional, very friendly, and engaging. Ryan's entire staff bleeds customer service. My friends and I have always felt extremely welcomed. Ryan's approach to operating his business creates a warm and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend spending your evening at The Copper Hop Brewery Company!

Place is relaxing, atmosphere is perfect for the neighborhoodservice is great. I've been here when it's packed and when it's half filled, all times I've been served quickly and with a smile. Beer is very good and they have a nice variety of brews available. Would highly recommend.
