Yelp
Copper Spoon has really delicious cocktails...like, noticeably good. Every time we've been my partner and I have been so impressed with the drinks. I like their "Down the Rabbit Hole" one especially.
Food wise, I've had so-so experiences. I'm consistently underwhelmed, especially considering the price. The fried chicken dishes have been okay, but nothing original.
My main issue is the service. Something about the vibe is rather off. One time we went during a slow hour when almost the entire restaurant was empty, and the hostess/server told us to seat ourselves anywhere. We sat at a booth, and a few min later they come over to say booths are actually reserved for parties of three or more....really? There was absolutely no other booths occupied, no one waiting, and if it was such a big deal then maybe say that instead of "sit anywhere." A bit annoying to then have to move somewhere else when we'd just gotten settled.
Another time we went with a friend to one of their Taco Tuesday nights, not realizing it was happening. The food was good, but no one really explained what was happening when we sat down. It felt pretty disorganized and the ordering process was confusing.
Last example I can think of is when it took probably 45 minutes to get our food served. Mine came out in a reasonable timeframe and for some reason my partner's was totally forgotten. Our server kept passing by and didn't notice only one of us had food (and we couldn't catch their attention). Eventually a server from another section rescued us.
Also, the music is really loud; you have to lean in to hear anyone speak.
Just go for drinks, not a meal!
