This new bakery is such a gem! As someone who regularly visits cafés, this will become my new go-to. Food: The heirloom avocado toast is definitely worth the money. They were generous with the avocado and it was bursting with flavor. It had a hint of umami, sweet, sour, and spicy. It was a unique take on avocado toast but I really loved it; it was delicious and surprisingly filling. The copperleaf egg sandwich is a simple, delicious sandwich. The daily granola yogurt was really good. It had so many fresh toppings and the yogurt was thick and flavorful. The coffees were also great. Very strong and rich coffee. Service & Atmosphere: The servers were very friendly and professional. The café was also very clean, I loved the clean decor. It's quiet enough to work and read, but it's also a great place for friends to talk quietly. There's enough seating but not so much that it could get packed. The restroom was also very clean. I'd definitely come back for the food and to work/read.

Great cafe. Breads and pastries baked fresh. I enjoyed the butternut squash soup, which came with some baguette slices. The atmosphere is laid back but refined. Easy to come with kids or with friends. Baguette was perfect (although a bit pricey). I will be back!

This was a delicious adventure! This cafe is a great new addition to Harlem. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere was perfect, and most of all the food was impeccable! I highly recommend the croissant- it is flaky, buttery and doughy, and the presentation is perfect. (Get it warmed too!)

It’s the second time I come here, just having the worst mood because of one of those days…. And this bakery really brightens my day. Everything I’ve tried here has been fantastic, and the whole staff and environment is uplifting. Welcome to the neighborhood, I’m so happy you and your delicious food are here!

This is such a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. The pastries are truly fantastic and the vibe is impeccable. Very excited to come back and try their breakfast and lunch, this will be a new regular spot!

My husband and I had a lovely lunch here today! He had the smoked trout toast which was delicious and beautifully presented, I had the seasonal soup which was butternut squash and it was flavorful and warming. We also tried the croissant which was super flaky and nicely laminated, along with the ube cheese cake. The coffee was also excellent. I cannot wait to go back and try more pastries! The cafe itself is charming and the staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Really glad this place opened in the neighborhood! Went for the opening day! The decor is very classy and there is lots of seating! They played instrumental music making the vibe impeccable. The staff was really friendly and attentive. The cold brew was deep and complex — not too acidic at all. And the croissant was delicious!

Went to the soft opening. Beautiful restaurant, spacious and comfortable. Good selection of baked goods. Had baguette, ube pie, that was out of this world. Kitchen churned out tasty steak sandwich and egg Benedict that replaced English muffin with French choux bread. Yummy! Cappuccino and latte were great, hot and thick. Love everything! You are lucky to live in the neighborhood with this addition.

I was there for the soft-opening, and the space, food and service was really great. Had some great everyday eats like croissants and egg sandwiches but everything was freshly made. Bought some cake slices to try in the evening. The croissants were perfect. Really looking forward to the official opening.

As a rituals loving girly, I was really hoping to not like this place because pastries and cozy beverages are a debility. Too bad I loved it in here. Super cute decor with ample space to sit to have a bite in what appears to be a relaxing atmosphere, plus friendly service. Staff members seem to have a dress code which also gives it a more formal upscale vibe. While they have a full breakfast + lunch menu, I was looking to grab a quick something to go so had a matcha and the Mexican Street Corn Tart. The price ($6) was awesome for a savory complex tasting pastry. They were able to tell me exactly what was in it upon asking at the counter, which I appreciated. Sorry, I can't remember the full details but please know it was delightfully unexpected and very flavorful. I got to share a few bites with my sister and niece who enjoyed it as well. My matcha was smooth with no clumps. I am sure they are working out some kinks as a newly opened place so please remember to be kind and offer grace :). They were a bit busy on an early Saturday afternoon but seemed to be moving as fast as they could. Look forward to visiting Copper Leaf again!

Nice to see this new pretty Copperleaf Bakery/Café on FDB, which just opened a couple of weeks ago. Came in for a Matcha Latte and snack. They have a number of interesting pastries, so tried their Clotted Cream Fig Danish. Grabbed a table amongst a number of customers here working off their wifi. The Danish, with mini flowers particles sprinkled on top, was tasty. The Matcha, however well decorated with the milk, still had clumps of matcha powder. Perhaps with time, those barista drink skills develop. Oddly, after handing back my cup and plate on my way out, the barista asked me if I wanted a glass of water. Guess it would have been great to offer when he handed me the tea. On the whole, good competition if you're considering Starbucks given they seem about the same price, maybe a bit more expensive, but more elevated. That being said, given I live close and it is a little pricey, not likely I'll be coming here on a regular basis - however, I'd recommend trying it out if that's something your up for. The baked goods all looked great!

I walked into Copperleaf Bakery expecting warmth, comfort, and care--the very things their brand claims to stand for. Instead, I left with a heavy heart. While inside, I overheard conversations that were impossible to ignore. A worker spoke about employees being intentionally not paid, and shortly after, I witnessed the owners speaking to their staff with open sarcasm and cruelty, as if the people working so hard around them were invisible and undeserving of basic respect. It felt like I was seeing something I wasn't meant to see. Their "About Me" says every bite tells a story. And it does--but not the one they intend. When I took a bite of my pastry, all I could think about were the degrading, unhinged words I had just overheard being used toward workers who were clearly exhausted yet still trying their best. It was heartbreaking to watch people pour effort and care into their work while being spoken to in ways no one deserves. I couldn't finish what I bought. Supporting a business should never come at the cost of someone else's dignity. No treat is worth ignoring the emotional weight of what I witnessed inside those walls. I urge others to think carefully before supporting a place that presents a beautiful image to customers while, behind the scenes, the atmosphere felt cold, dismissive, and deeply troubling.

Was so excited to see this place was opening! I went today for their official first day! The place is adorable with plenty of seating! They were playing instrumental music giving it a lovely vibe all around! So cute! The staff were lovely and attentive! And!!! The cold brew was perfect! Complex and maybe even a bit nutty! The croissant was delicious! So excited for them to be right around the corner.
