"In 2014, after 20 years on U Street, Coppi’s Organic relocated to Cleveland Park and quickly became a local institution. The Northern Italian restaurant offers pizzas and meats roasted in its wood-burning oven along with seasonal and classics like pappardelle bolognese and mushroom risotto. There’s also an interesting mix of organic and biodynamic wines from around the world." - Jamie Liu, Lisa Ruland

I've ordered food from Coppi's via Grubhub (Eat 24) for the last two years. I was always pleased with my orders and especially appreciated the vegetarian options. This was my first visit to the restaurant and I took full advantage of the all day Happy Hour menu available on Sunday. Great starters and small plates for very reasonable price. The service is friendly but not very knowledgeable in wines. I really like the pasta entrees and the mushroom pizza is very good. If you check-in on Yelp you can get 20% off your bill.

I don’t care if food is good or not. After 30 minutes waiting for a beer and countless wait for food I know I will never come back. Waitera are nice, place has an atmosphere, bjt this wait time is ridiculous. Update: the Owner is really cool. Cleared the sky.

Great “Happy Hour” Food. This is a small place and the friendly fun staff makes it welcoming. I like this place I will add to to my list of places o just chill.

This place is terrific; it's worth a visit for a lot more than pizza. We've been here several times and have only tried their pizza once. As good as it was, what keeps us going back is their fancier fare. You need to check out the rest of their menu, or even better their specials; we think you'll be pleasantly surprised. We've never had a bad meal here, which, sadly, we can't say about most of the restaurants we've tried in DC. No matter what our mood is, we leave here happy. There's a limited (but tasty) Happy Hour menu for bar hoppers, though you can also sit there and order off the menu, which is what we like to do when Ramon is on duty; he makes a good restaurant even better.) We often are enticed by their specials and have not been disappointed -- Coppis's offerings have uniformly been tastier, better prepared, and more satisfying, than the vast majority of dishes we've been served at more acclaimed and expensive, but far less competent, restaurants. This is the only place I've been to recently that hasn't brought me a plate of food that would taste a lot better if it had been served at the right temperature. Somehow they manage to send plates out that look attractive but are also served hot. Don't assume you know what you'll get here -- it's a far, far better place than you might imagine!

Good mix of vegan and non-vegan options. Surprisingly, no vegan options for coffee lightener. Would have expected soy or almond milk. Portion sizes were a bit small for my taste, but my wife was happy with hers. Homemade hazelnut spread in the dessert was excellent. Bar atmosphere, and seating near the front was a bit chilly. Overall the vegan options make this a good choice, but if you're not vegan you can do better.

Pleasant service, great food, cozy atmosphere! I looked for organic and found this great spot. We shared the corn appetizer on special, the warm chard salad (amazing), and the pork chop special (also amazing)! It is on the slightly more expensive side, but really good. The service was also great! We had Marquel!

Good vegetarian options, good ambiance, good tasting food. I've recently turned vegetarian and being able to find quality vegetarian options on menus is always nice, but this is not a vegetarian restaurant- they have plenty of food with meat. For vegetarians and vegans: They don't have many items in their "vegan" section on the menu, but what they have is good and all the pizzas can be made with vegan cheese if you want. They can also put meatless sauce on the pastas with meat sauce, so don't be too discouraged by the fact that only 3 items (at the time of my visit) were actually listed under "vegan" on the menu. The venue was a nice with a convenient location near the metro (if you use it) and the lighting and ambiance inside is ideal for a nice quiet date dinner or just a low key meal.
