The staff are strange and welcoming. Uniquely bad experience. Do not recommend this place ever. I’ve travelled all over Italy extensively and this has to be one of the strangest interactions I’ve ever had in a restaurant.

Came here to eat within the area where most people from matera live and it was a very positive surprise. The prices are way lower compared to the old town and the service and food was on a very high level. I would definetly go here again.

Amazing food for amazing price. Margarita 5€ and hamburger with french fries 7€. The decoration is also very nice . I recommend 100%.

We visited Matera for business. Was a short trip and we wanted something to eat. We randomly came across the restaurant. Super friendly staff, cozy with a pinch of vintage atmosphere and most important FOOD . I ve eaten in a lot of places in italy but this one was unique! Tastes , meat cuts and cooking 10/10. Would definitely recommended to anyone that wants to try something different than the classic Italian dishes . Will visit again when around 🙃

Got to the restaurant near closing time, nevertheless we were given a table. Service was prompt, the food tasty and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

The food was really good but poor service, the waitress didn’t even open my husbands beer, just put it on the table and walked away- he opened the bottle with a fork. They didn’t seem to care that we were tourists spending money and supporting their industry.

All of the reasons why Italy is the best at doing restaurants! Fantastic and courteous service, delicious wine and most importantly delicious steaks. What more could you ask for? Well done guys!!

Absolutely bang average bland restaurant. Anyone in Italy who gives this above 3 stars needs an education! Good value but thats about it!
