"The Coral Club is one of the coolest places to drink in Nashville. It’s like Hef’s grotto meets a candle-lit monastery, and everyone from Nashville’s army of pilates instructors to Kacey Musgraves is jockeying to have one of the bartenders do a straight pour from the bottle directly into their mouth. (Well, maybe not Kacey—she’s sitting in the back with a gimlet.) Pizza Lolo, Nashville’s best pizza pop-up, even has a Wednesday residency there. Grab a pie for dinner and stay until after 9pm when the crowd really starts to build. Trucker hats and sundresses, usually together Whatever drink that person wearing the bolo has The big bag of black truffle popcorn" - jackie gutierrez jones 2
"Coral Club is equal parts candlelit sand cave and Amalfi villa, perched right in the center of East Nashville. Their Happy Hour is pretty great (all hail the tiny martini), but the real fun happens after 9pm when the lights dim and the music cranks. On weekends, a DJ is spinning house or techno until 1am, sometimes later if the party is really lively. They also host a weekly pizza pop-up on Wednesdays, where Pizza Lolo makes Neapolitan-esque pies with toppings like Sichuan ground pork and sweet and sour pickles. If you’ve ever wondered where your favorite Nashville bartender (or your favorite food and drink writer) goes for a round of rosé palomas or something shaken with ube, they’re probably here." - adam sloan
"The bamboo-clad exterior of an unassuming building is the only clue that you’ll soon be transported to a coastal hideaway. Pass through a hallway festooned with dripping candles and find yourself in an airy, comfy oasis where the tiny martinis flow, particularly during happy hour. Those tiny ‘tinis are ice cold (classic or dirty) and served in teeny coupes; at $5 apiece they’re perfect for afternoon cocktail snacking. Also on offer: $10 margaritas, gimlets, and old fashioneds, $8 rose palomas, and $3 draft Pacificos. Snag a bag of truffle popcorn for $7 to stay fueled up for the long hall. Happy hour takes place daily from 4 p.m.-6 p.m." - Ellen Fort
"Nothing says celebration like a seafood tower, and Coral Club is planning to do it right. For $150, attendees can enjoy a decadent raw bar from chef Connor Carlson of Catbird Seat, Neapolitan-style pizza by the slice from Pizza Lolo, and unlimited bubbles, tiny ‘tini’s, beer, and wine from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. After that, the doors will open to the general public with DJs and a Champagne toast at midnight. Tickets can be found at Eventbrite." - Ellen Fort
"WHEN: Daily, 4-7pm THE DEAL: $5 Tiny Tini (Classic or Dirty), $10 Margarita, Gimlet, or Old Fashioned, $8 Rose Paloma, $3 draft Pacifico, $6 Black Truffle Popcorn When you step into Coral Club, you’ll walk through a candlelight passageway that feels extraordinarily far away from the outside world. The staff is friendly and the martinis are tiny, so grab a seat at the bar if they’re not slammed, and slurp down a classic Tiny Tini with a bag of black truffle popcorn while you decide what to order next. We recommend their classic Old Fashioned or even more ‘tinis." - adam sloan
