Patrick and Leandra greeted us with such warmth that we looked forward to every visit. Jay, our Manager, was an absolute gem — knowledgeable, organized, and incredibly patient. She has an amazing design eye and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, from décor to timing to keeping this panicked bride calm! The food was outstanding. At our tasting, we were surprised with full-sized portions of each dish — and the food served on our wedding day was exactly the same: hot, delicious, and beautifully plated. Our maître d’, DJ, took care of us all evening and made sure we had everything we needed. The private bridal suite stocked with hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and a personal server was such a classy touch. The service from every Coral House staff member was impeccable — professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Even staff not assigned to our party greeted us with smiles and offers to help. Dream Events, led by Samantha, handled our entertainment package flawlessly — the DJ (Christian) was phenomenal, the bartender kept the drinks flowing, the décor was stunning, and the photographer captured every moment. Our guests are still talking about how amazing everything was — especially the ice cream cart after all that dancing! Coral House and Dream Events delivered above and beyond what they promised. Our wedding was perfect, and we have zero complaints. If you’re looking for a venue and team that truly care about your day, this is it.

Bartender was very pleasant. Food was extremely gross! We got served canned beans that look like they were sitting in the can for days! Half of it was crusty and hard. I ordered a Cosmo and got a vodka cranberry with extra ice instead. I know it’s brand new. Hopefully they’ll figure it out. Super sad, Was looking forward to a new place in the neighborhood.

Attended an employee event here and had a great experience! The venue itself is beautiful and well-organized, making it perfect for gatherings. The food selection was impressive — they offered a wide variety of options, and dinner included steak, chicken, and salmon, all cooked perfectly. Overall, a wonderful place for events with excellent service and great dining choices.

Coral House is well known in the community. The venue looks great inside and out. College graduation in June for 45 people in the Milburn room. Frank S. Mng., is very experienced, every detail is explained, well organized , event runs smooth, (if you follow the list) Thank you to ALL the employees for working so hard. Staff is good on timing the meal courses. Great job to the valet, greeters and wait staff. Special thank you to Ivone- she followed up with me thru the event, made many accommodations while the party was in process. The party was AWESOME. we had a great time

We went for holiday dinner. Foods is really nice. but there are times when they will bring out an item once in a small dish for the buffet, its polished off and you never see it again. (Ex: eggplant tomato compote) but truly a big ty to all who worked so everyone could enjoy the holiday !

Beautiful up to date catering hall event space. Many different sized rooms as needed. Top notch food. Wait staff and planner were very helpful 🙂

We enjoy the Coral House for Thanksgiving and Mothers Day. The experience is great, our server for Thanksgiving, Jennifer, was very kind and attentive. The food was excellent and the service staff at the buffet were polite and on point. All in all we had another great experience with Butch, and the great staff at CH!.

The Coral House is a grandiose experience. It emits a unique sense of style and elegance suitable for a wedding. But, it does have a few cracks. The lighting and overall atmosphere is incredible! When you think of the highlights of a wedding venue, the Coral House should be a strong consideration. There was a wide selection of food and drink, and the rooftop area for cocktail hour leans in to the New York wedding experience. For some reason, people cannot deny drinking and eating while looking over the gorgeous lake the Coral House rests next to. I’ll also state, the overall service was great! Now for the cracks. While the “vibes” are great, there is still a lot of unsightly corners. For example, the rooftop bar broke the level of elegance by letting us see into the dingy corners of that room. A few curtains, some dimmer lights, and maybe some other set dressings would have made the experience just that much tighter. A venue is not just about the view, it is also about the presentation. Besides those little bits, I think The Coral House deserves to be on the short list of wedding venues.

After an unpleasant experience last Thanksgiving (2023) at another venue, I was excited to book a table here for Thanksgiving 2024. We booked the last seating, scheduled for 4pm. I used to go to all sorts of events here well over 10 to years ago. I fondly remember weddings, holiday work parties and sweet sixteens. Always impeccably organized, efficient service and quality food. Unfortunately if Thanksgiving Day 2024 was any indication, those days of yesteryear are long gone! One word: CHAOS! Was it the fact that the large room where the buffet was set up, also had too many tables squeezed in it? Or perhaps the ridiculously long line that extended down two long hallways past the kitchen, where servers were constantly running through it? Or perhaps when I finally got up to the buffet, they had run out of stuffing? I had to stand there, along with four other people for ten minutes until another tray came out. We dared not walk past the empty chafing dish...to go to the back of the line to wait again? NOPE! And then all that waiting only to be served Stove Top stuffing!! The rest of the food was decent, no one part of the meal stood out as spectacular. The saving grace was the waitstaff. Working under these conditions, the servers were apologetic and worked diligently. The young man assigned to our table was polite and handled our drink orders efficiently. Making reservations for Thanksgiving is a fairly new concept for me personally. Two strikes in the past two years...next year I'm hosting at my house. Trust me, there will be no lines or Stove Top stuffing.

COLD food and rushed at Thanksgiving... Clear the table so you leave... Wait staff taking your plates to move you out! AWFUL

Not going to recommend. The outside is very pretty and makes for lovely pictures. The "assigned" wait staff for the private dressing room was less than attentive. They were extremely "stingy" with the hors d'oeuvres platters, refusing to refill, stating that the "cocktail hour" was over. Little did I realize at the time that I would have done better filling up on the crabcakes. The fried chicken was lukewarm and unseasoned. Many of the foods in the buffet had full plates from guests being thrown away. Frozen drinks were "okay." The sheet cake was awful and did not receive a passing grade from any of the invited guests. Please spend your money elsewhere. Coral House is going on reputation past, and no one is doing anything to preserve its once stellar approach to catering/fine dining. If you must do, because of location, please cater with your chosen chefs and merely use the space, if that is an option.

Very disappointed by the staff, was manhandled by some idiot that thinks they are security

I had heard about catering halls that are described as "wedding factories". At least, that was the response of my sister when I told her where I was heading for a friend's daughter's wedding. I suppose the Coral House would be categorized as one, with multiple event spaces available on each of the three levels. During a Saturday evening wedding I attended there were indeed multiple weddings. While some of the spaces make that characteristic more evident, such as the Lakeside Room, others are situated and designed such that this characteristic quickly fades and is forgotten. That was the case of the wedding I attended in the smaller, newer Colonial Room. It felt like an intimate nook, and has its own bathrooms just outside the room entrance. There was no peaking of curious passer-byes, nor music cascading and converging from neighboring event spaces. Everything was well coordinated and the dinner plates were more generous than previously experienced elsewhere. I was pleasantly surprised by some cocktail reception choices, including German sausage with red sauerkraut, slices of juicy beef and pork, and German Spaetzle. Everything served during dinner was tasty -- especially popular was the salmon topped with mango salsa. The Colonial Room is beautifully organized and designed, with attractive and festive lighting, high, sky-lit ceiling, mirrored multi-pane "windows", and fireplaces. The room overlooks the Milburn Pond. There is valet and self park options available. Worth checking out for anyone looking to book a catered event on Long Island.

This is the second time my family and I have come here for Mother's Day brunch. We sat in a back room this time. Since it wasn't the main dining room you couldn't really hear the music playing so that was a bummer. There was a variety of food to select from. Buffet style is always hit or miss. Unfortunately, the food wasn't really hot. The penne ala vodka would have been really good if it were hot. Everything was okay. We ordered mimosas for the table. Our server was good. Our reservation was towards the end of brunch so they weren't really refilling the foods. The dessert table was disappointing but they had an ice cream cart. It came to $80 a person for brunch. I would like to try a different place next year.

I have been to several events held at the Coral House over the past few years. My family has attended weddings, Christmas and New Years celebrations as well as a 30th anniversary party. At Christmas, the decorations are stunning. The staff is pleasant and the venue is clean. I have never had a bad meal at Coral House. I've tried both the buffet and sit down meal options. I was thoroughly impressed when one party offered lobster and steak as an option (surf and turf). Both were fabulous. I have been both a guest and a host here and have never been disappointed.

AMAZING TIME! I had to write this review to express the gratitude and happiness I feel after having my Birthday Party/Life Celebration/ Gratitude Party at the CORAL HOUSE! Jay, my Banquet Consultant did an amazing job. I was pleased with the food options I was offered since a large number of my guests were Vegan and Gluten-Free. After speaking with the Manager they were able to come up with even more options including dairy-free ice cream. The hall was Beautifully decorated even before my decorator came and added her amazing touches. The staff was wonderful and had an air of "We want to serve You"! Yvonne the Maitre d was AWESOME! She made sure everyone got the food they were supposed to get; which was special in itself since there was more than the usual number of options. Many of my Vegan guests was surprised that there was actually food there they could eat! The food portion size was absolutely FANTASTIC! It was also well seasoned and tasty. The food was served quickly, and coincided with my schedule perfectly. ALL of my guests were very happy with all aspects of the CORAL HOUSE. One guest commented the evening was "MAGICAL" and I know that a lot of their happy feelings can be attributed to the excellent service we received. With appreciation and gratitude I would recommend the Coral House to anyone who wanted to make their event a memorable one.

What a lovely venue! Came here for a Saturday night party, I believe about 90 guests. It was a baby shower (but no ordinary shower! Partied until midnight!) full room, music, dancing. The room was gorgeous! Large and bright and plenty of room for decorations and gift and dessert tables (as well as dancing!). It started at 7 PM and fortunately it was still daylight out so the view of the water outside from the room was really lovely. The room (I believe it was the Deck room) fit all of us comfortably. There was a cocktail hour and then dinner was buffet style (we lined up and were served the hot food) and then an ice cream bar for dessert. (Plus the cake was served to us at our seats.) The dinner was delicious (chicken, steak, fish and veg options) and the ice cream bar was a really fun treat. Other things to note: There is valet parking when you pull up but there is a large parking lot across the street that I didn't notice at first. There is a full bar in a separate room that we were able to wait in (and drink in!) Until the decorations in our room were completed. tl;dr: Attended an amazing party here with a lot of dancing and great food

I'd been here multiple times for birthday parties invite. I have loved their party rooms as all gets a good view of the lake. The serenity and calmness can be felt inside the room. Airy and bright rooms. For today's party, it was a Buffett style dining . Good food selections. Great tastes . Prior, the happy hour dejection were impressive. As the celebrants observe religious traditions, good non alcoholic beverages were used for the toasting. The room accommodated about 100 guests . There is a good dance floor size . One good plus, the venue room is close to a restroom , small but the convenience of the location is undeniably likable.

Just got home from New Year's Eve at the Carl house, what a splendid splendid evening. Definitely worth the money and the price of admission. Credible hot hors d'oeuvres, and cheese and fruits and salads followed by incredible open bar and really wonderful choice of me entrées and the filet mignon and lobster were incredible as worth the desserts. The staff was really nice and kept everything running smoothly and they even gave us bagels and cream cheese when we left. The place was clean and lots of fun, but the Highpoint of the night had to be the disco unlimited band that plays all over Long Island, but kept the place rocking and I can't wait to go back next year, 10 stars

I had my bottomless brunch engagement party here this past Saturday and it was amazing. Laurie, the banquet manager, was extremely helpful throughout this process. She helped with our budget and answered all our questions in-depth, so that there was no confusion amongst us at any point. She was on top of everything and was very well organized. Even when we had last minute changes, she accommodated my fiancé and I. The food was delicious - waffles, penne, chicken parm, and so were the drinks. The guests were very satisfied and raved about how good the food was! The venue was elegant, had lots of natural sunlight and had massive windows overlooking the lake. We were very pleased with having our engagement party here and would definitely have future events here. I highly recommend this venue.

I have been to several events at the Coral House and have always been impressed. This year we decided to try the Coral House for Thanksgiving. We arrived a few minutes early for our 4:00 pm reservation and our table was not ready. That happens, sometimes customers take a long time to finish their meals. At about 4:25, we were escorted to the dining room, but our table was still not ready and we had to stand in the doorway while the staff finished the setup. That was a bit awkward , but ok. Then we got on the buffet line. There was one line for literally hundreds of people. We stood on that line for 45 minutes before we reached the food. By the time we got to where the food was , there were no candied sweet potatoes, no mashed potatoes and no prime rib, among other things, and the salads were decimated. The line stopped dead while people waited for the food to be replenished. When we went back up for additional food, a tray of mashed potatoes had just been brought out and I was told that this would be the last tray of them so, if I wanted some, I had better take them before they were gone. Food was ok. Desserts were truly mediocre. Waitstaff was pleasant though not particularly competent. The Coral House is owned by a corporation which owns many restaurants and multiple catering establishments - I would have expected that they would have known how to manage the crowd, all of whom had made reservations and paid in advance. I was truly disappointed in the manner in which Thanksgiving was orchestrated. What catering establishment makes hundreds of people stand on line for food, only to run out before people are served. It was like being at a soup kitchen. We paid $60 per person and spent the bulk of the time we were there standing on line, only to be met with empty catering trays which should have contained Thanksgiving staples. Never again.

I had my wedding at the Coral House this past September (2022) after postponing THREE times because of COVID-19, Laurie was SO helpful and really worked with us to make sure we could have our dream wedding. After all the anticipation and waiting for our special day, it went better than we could have ever imagined. The staff was courteous and helpful, they made sure the night went as scheduled. The little bit of food that my husband and I had was DELICIOUS and all of our guest are still talking about how good the food was and how the bartenders were on point! I would definitely recommend having an event at the Coral House.

My mother and I were invited to a 80th birthday celebration for a friend of mine's mother. When we got there we had no problem parking as there was a big lot directly across from the venue. Once we were inside we were amazed on how beautiful the place was. The waiters and waitresses were amazing. The bathroom was downstairs and you could tell they are constantly cleaning. The food was outstanding as there was a bowtie pasta with marinara sauce and a twist of ricotta cheese on top. There was three chooses of meat Steak, Chicken, Salmon. I had the chicken with gravy stuffed with spinach which was absolutely scrumptious and tasted the salmon which I stated I didnt know which one was better as both were so good. It came with red bliss potatoes and asparagus. The meal was amazing. I would recommend this venue for a function without reserve.

A friend of mine lived down the street from Coral House for years so I constantly saw it, especially at night, and thought how beautiful it looked. Finally another friend was having their wedding here and I thought "great! I finally get to check this place out!". You quickly realize it's a wedding factory. Many events taking place at once. A tavern/bar in the back to kill time before a ceremony of reception. This is a nice touch especially since no one is around to tell you where the wedding you're attending is being held. Coat check had the most pleasant employees of the entire place. The room where the ceremony was held is TINY. The chairs are stacked right on top of another to the point we were glad the ceremony itself was only 30 minutes. Very, very uncomfortable. The room where they held the cocktail hour was a bit more spacious. The lighting was all over the place - sometimes it was bright, other times it was very dim. The food at the cocktail hour was okay. The passed food (those lobster tacos!) was way better than anything on the main table. Drinks are strong, bartenders are friendly. The main room where they had the reception was again cramped. If I backed up my chair a bit too much, I would knock into someone else seated behind me. The bar area in this room appears to be one they just roll in for events so it's tiny but the two bartenders made the line go quick. The dancefloor is narrow but we made it work. Acoustics are great and the DJ had no problem getting everyone up and dancing, or even singing along! The food during the reception was actually delicious (nearly unheard of at LI wedding venues). The filet stuffed with crab meat was great and oh so filling. Now for the worst part of my entire experience here. The cake. Okay so the cake was coming from one of my favorite LI bakeries and I had to stick around to try it. Unfortunately it took the staff at Coral House over an hour to slice the cake and serve it. Cake cutting was at 8:45ish, cake slices did not come out until 9:45, AND they had served coffee at 9 so all the coffee was ice cold by the time the cake was served. Terrible. Also my slice of cake was butchered to no end. No reason that slice was allowed to be served - half of it was missing! And I'm not saying it was a small slice (that would have been just fine) this was literally missing a chunk like someone in the kitchen screwed up with the slicer and decided to serve it, anyway. Horrible. Not worth the wait. Next time I'll get a perfect slice of cake from the bakery itself. Also the restrooms here are tiny. Well, everything here seems small but the restrooms are the worst. Perhaps the ones down the winding staircase are better but the only ladies room right outside the reception hall had two stalls, two sinks, one hand dryer, and no room to form a line. They also did not provide anything a wedding venue tends to provide during a reception such as feminine hygiene products, hairspray, deodorant, etc. All they had was candy but since we were sharing the same restroom with 2 other parties all the candy ran out within an hour. Not a bright idea when people are drinking, eventually break the seal, and need to use the restroom (especially ladies who tend to take forever). Overall I can't give less than two stars here since the venue itself is still very pretty and the entire place was decorated for Christmas. They just need a lot more space and more restrooms.

I am both shocked and appalled by the actions of this establishment during the current pandemic on the handling of BARBOUR NASH 100th BIRTHDAY PARTY. This business has severed all communications with the NASH family after a refund was requested due to the venue canceling the date of the 100th Birthday party of NASH BARBOUR which was scheduled during the current pandemic (COVID-19). All avenues have been taken to communicate privately with this business including, calls, email, certified mail and etc and they have not had the courtesy to responded despite our many efforts. It is pretty outrageous, unprofessional, heartless and cold for a business to engage in such practices as they have during a time when the nation and this family are dealing with something as serious as a pandemic. Having a birthday party was a great idea prior to the current pandemic (which is when this idea was birthed and a down payment was made) but now it would be pretty foolish to have a birthday party where a large number of people would gather and put a person that is 100 years old with underlying medical conditions at great risk. In this time when the future is so uncertain and families are being laid off from jobs and the money the are holding hostage could be used to assist in towards the care and health of a person 100 years old it is outright murderous for a business not to have any intentions of returning monies paid. I appeal to the hearts of others reading this to consider the kind of people you are handing your money over to before making a decision you use the services of this business who have treated this family in this way during a time of personal and national crisis....and to the establishment, I implore you to do the right thing. Please reach out to the NASH BARBOUR family and return the monies paid. There is still time to do the right thing.

Food was very good. The decor was just right, and staff were great! The price was just right. Overall, a great place to spend a cozy night.

I had my daughters sweet sixteen here and everything was perfect. Laurie was the person I worked with and she was a doll. I also worked with Adam at dream events and had no problems. The atmosphere was great, staff wonderful all the guest had a great time. The food and drinks were okay. We had many different changes throughout the planning process and they were very accommodating. This is my third event here my mom and uncle also had their wedding at this venue

I came here for my cousins wedding and I was in the bridal party. The catering hall is so pretty and they have ample parking. They have the lake in the background which makes the view spectacular. The food and drinks were so good. All the guests were impressed. The room was spacious and enough room for dancing. However, the staff of the event wasn't the best for my cousins wedding. When we were taking wedding photos outside in the park where the ceremony was going to take place, guests were arriving and seeing the bride before she walked down the aisle. Traditionally, that is not supposed to happen. They should of made sure the guests stayed inside. The guests knew for some reason the small pathway to the ceremony and im sure an employee told them how to get there. Other than that, the catering hall was nice. Would I recommend? Yes, but make sure you get a good maitree D.

Went here yesterday to a franternal organization luncheon. The halls of the building were very festive with holiday decorations. The bartender appeared exactly at noon and got right to work. The meal consisted of bread, pasta, Cesar salad, a choice of fish, steak or chicken as a main, and coffee and pastries for dessert. All the food was good. Service was good until it wasn't at the end. When the coffee and pastries were served, our table in the corner was overlooked. Out server disappeared as well. Other tables were finished with their coffee and desserts, and were leaving by the time our table was attended to. Bathroom was clean. Big parking lot across the street. Solid three stars.

My cousins shower was simply amazing! Elegant, beautiful Venue with lots of room with no crowding and fantastic service. The food was great and the staff was friendly and on top of everything. There were multiple rooms that can accommodate all party sizes. There was even a wedding in the next room. Ample parking and a hidden gem. We had the best time celebrating the upcoming arrival of my niece! Thanks for a night to remember!

The fact that this venue can use the pandemic as an excuse to to take a families hard earned money is disgusting. My family booked this venue for my grandmothers 100th birthday in May 2020. The city was completely shut down and as a result all events were cancelled. My family simply asked for a refund because rebooking at a later date would not be feasible. My grandmother is 100 yrs old how could we possibly consider exposing her to hundreds of people at a future date while there is still no vaccine for the virus. There was no loss to coral house because they did not prepare for this event. Their lack of communication is both disappoint and appalling. Coral house needs to own up and do the right thing.

This venue is refusing to refund my family the deposit for our event. The event was cancelled due to them being closed due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Furthermore they are unresponsive to us as we have been trying to contact them for months. This is very unprofessional. We are all having a hard time dealing with this ongoing Situation of COVID 19 and this company has absolutely no values or morals. They are disrespectful and disregard clients once they have their money regardless even though they did not provide the service. Horrible company!!!

Went for Brunch with Santa and I was not impressed. We got there by 1230p and the food was all ready cold and didn't seem to be refreshed. My kids were looking forward to the chicken fingers yet nothing was on the buffet even though the menu on website said it would be available. A mimosa was spilled on my friend yet it wasn't comped SMH. Was not impressed with this place. Santa definitely will have this place on his naughty list.

Horrible Business! My family paid thousands of dollars down for a 100th birthday party for my grandma, which was to take place two months ago. We've been trying to communicate and make arrangements with coral house since months before our event was scheduled to take place. Due to COVID-19 the party was cancelled and Coral House has stopped all communications with my family. No returned calls or answered emails. We aren't at liberty to reschedule the party. God blessed my grandma to live 100yrs and we don't know what the future holds. Now more than ever, we don't want to expose her to hundreds of people. No one knows when COVID-19 will be over. The lack of respect and poor customer service received by the coral house staff is beyond ridiculous. Corporate won't respond. The CEO of Dover Group won't respond. Covid-19 doesn't excuse your unethical business practices! You are thieves! We will go to the media and we will take legal action!

So, my sister decided to have her baby shower here, and she was very excited about it- but when I saw these Yelp review I thought I'd better brace myself. The overall decor of the place is very grand and has that Long Island feel, just like any other catering hall in Long Island. There was several parties happening at once during our event, but that didn't seem to effect our experience. The party was about 40 women, and we got to have access to the room an hour before the party to blow up balloons, games, and a favors table. The staff was very attentive, and kept giving my sister a heads up about pacing her 4 hour party; which I could appreciate. My problem was the food. We had three choices, grilled marinated steak, grilled salmon with mangoes, or chicken bruschetta. My mom, soon to be mother-in-law and I opted for the salmon, and we were all pretty pleased. The chicken looked and tasted dry, and my grandmother was appalled this place didn't have Italian bread, or any bread on the table besides one single roll. My grandmother didn't touch her steak and are only the sides of potatoes and fried onions. I guess I was lucky and made the right choice. When coffee and tea was being served, I was helping my sister open gifts and keep track as to who bought her what. By the time we sat down, we had no coffee or tea with our cake. It was like the staff assumed the party was over and vanished. It would've been nice, but I guess I was asking for too much. Overall, the food left you more to be desired, and the service starts out strong and then fizzled. Food counts more than any decor.

Horrible customer service! Called three times and left a message for someone to call me back, no one ever did. When I finally got someone on the phone the "manager" Melissa was unprofessional and nasty! Thank goodness I found out about the lack of professionalism prior to booking an event! What a shame.

Coral House was the first and only venue my fiance and I checked out for our wedding and reception We fell in love instantly. Though, I had read reviews from past years I still wanted to form my own opinion. One of my major concerns was the food. After booking Coral House during the summer, we finally went to a food tasting last night. To my surprise, everything was on point - from presentation to taste. I felt at ease knowing that my guests will enjoy the food. As of now, I am extremely pleased with the choice that I have made in having my wedding and reception at Coral House. My wedding is exactly 6 months from today- so I will update after my wedding!

Coral House Caterers is a good place to throw a party. Around the holidays this place is really beautiful. There are amazing Christmas decorations. The staff greets guests well. Parking is a bit crazy but you can either valet or park yourself across the street. The food is okay. It is not bad, but there was nothing at all to rave about. The bathrooms smell like potpourri. Not a Christmas potpourri, and not someone's grandma's potpourri, but anyone who has been in the bathroom would agree that it is clean and smells like a potpourri chef's workshop. my 3 stars would probably be a 3.5.

I came here for a baby shower that was held in the Colonial Room. This room is one of their smaller rooms that has a view of the lake. I had an amazing time from start to finish at this venue. The happy hour was full of delicious options: lobster tacos, ceviche, Mac and cheese, salmon, beef Wellington, chicken cordon bleu, crab cake, and Mediterranean skewers. The main course was buffet: chicken parmigiana, beef, flounder(too many bones), pasta, mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, goat cheese salad, and mixed veggies. Keep in mind that your menu is based on what you select in your package. I liked all the food but the flounder because it has too many bones and the salads were a bit soggy. Other than that, everything was delicious. There is also a good sized dance floor of your crowd wants to dance! The bathroom closest to this room is tiny with only two stalls. It was kept clean but more stalls are always appreciated since the ladies room line tends to be long. Therefore, you may be better off going to another restroom in the compound.

Was there Sunday 12-9-18 for Office Christmas Party. Food and service were great. Marinated skirt steak was delicious. Beautiful decorations and atmosphere. Great ice cream bar for the kids. Highly recommend!

I have procrastinated to book a place for my son's bar mitzvah and when we started searching, many places which could fit the number of people we had in mind, did not have adequate dance space, or the food options were so-so, or the pricing was way over our budget. I initially have not looked into Coral House as I did not want a place that had multiple parties at the same time, but when we came to look at it, we met with Jay, one of the banquet managers and we immediately hit it off and felt that we were in good hands. Jay is very experienced as she told us her family used to own Pompeii in West Hempstead which was a very popular spot for bar mitzvahs, Sweet 16th and other types of events for teens and young adults. The menu looked enticing with many options for appetizers and entrees, and Jay has worked with us to select a perfectly balances menu for both adults and kids, and she threw in quite a few extras. She had also helped us decorate the room as I did not really have a lot of decor, just centerpieces and giant cutouts to be place around the room and she took care of everything. The day of, despite crappy weather, we had an event filled with warmth, love, light and laughter. When we first came, there was a table setup with cheese display, veggies, fruits, something that we have not even discussed, so this was a great start and such a nice touch, on the house. The bartender worked very hard to keep everyone hydrated and happy. The maitre d' was checking in with me to ensure that everything was going on a timeline and according to the plan and the waiters worked hard to bring out appetizers, clean tables, and setup buffet. The food was delicious and plentiful, and they really took great care of us. Jay was such a pleasure to work with, what a difference from the maitre d' we worked with before, at another place, for my two other kids bar/bat mitzvah, that other person was so snotty. Jay is warm, welcoming, helpful and so professional. Oh, and the price was right, in this day and age when things cost through the roof, Coral House really met as at our price point and catered a beautiful event.

By far one of the most beautiful places to host a Holiday Party. My boyfriends Boss of GMC hosted a Christmas party here for the workers along with guests a few days ago.The building inside and out was beautifully decorated. The food was great as well, my favorite were the app. lobster tacos- I couldn't get enough. Great location, staff was organized and well oriented. A+ experience

My husband and I got married at the Coral House in Baldwin NY 3 weeks ago. Everything was perfect! The room was beautiful, the food was delicious, and Frank Esposito and his staff were amazing! They made the happiest and most memorable day of our life just wonderful! We also used their DJ and photo booth with Adam and his Dream Works staff. The DJ was great and our MC was awesome! A big shout out to MC Alex!! And having the photo booth was a perfect way to send our guests home with a party favor. Whether it's a Wedding, a Sweet 16, a Bar Mitzvah, or any kind of party we highly recommend you check out the Coral House! We also attended their New Year's Eve party and that too is a lot of fun, and the food was delicious! We're already planning on going back next New Year's Eve! See you there! (And no, we do not work for the Coral House LOL!)

I've been to a few parties here lately and there is a dramatic difference of what it used to be! The food quality is better, service and cleanliness! The grounds are really kept up and beautiful especially in the spring and summer! I really don't have any complaints and highly recommend the choral house to hold future of events where your family and friends will have a great time!

The service here is horrible. Hosted my sister's bridal shower here and paid to have unlimited champagne, mimosas, and bellinis, which was to be served at the bar. But the bar tender was missing almost the entire party. I had to hunt him down several times to be served a drink. The waiters did not come around to serve water which is a basic need for any party. We literally had to beg for water and utensils. We were promised an ice cream Sunday bar wheeled out on a wagon and it was not done. Several guests asked for a spoons because the staff took the spoons off the table. When asking the staff to bring spoons they gave attitude and claimed "spoons are on the table"...when clearly they weren't which is why guests were asking for spoons. Had to pay extra for a maitre d whom was missing a lot of times during the actual party. Paid a lot of money for very bad service and didn't get what we were promised. Can't even imagine how bad the service is for a wedding. Will never again use this place to host anything.

Came here for the winter holiday festival. Food was great and service was efficient. The hall was decorated beautifully - Santa photos, facepaint and balloons animals included.

Bridal suites are stunning and comfortable. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly and professional. Overall beautiful and great venue.

This place is AMAZING!!! Omg i been here before when I was little for my Aunts wedding. I just knew we had to give my bf Aunt her surprise 50th here. The food was outstanding, everything was good. Just how I remembered from when I was little. This place is pricey, but I swear it's worth it. Everyone who works here that I interacted with was nice and respectful. The decorations was really nice also. I picked a GREAT place.

Nice decor is the best thing I can say about this venue. Food was a average at best. Waitstaff comprised of teenagers and waiters in training. As a result they leave a lot to be desired once the food arrives, like providing a steak knife for your steak, or getting the right order to the right person. I guess if you don't pay much, you get get what you pay for in terms of waitstaff. Very uneven service experience from salad to dessert... dishes removed before the person was done with their meal. Better training would result in at least one star improvement. Then they could focus on upgrading the food. I expected more, but maybe I shouldn't have.

The three stars is for the venue and staff. I attended a wedding here this past weekend and I have to say that it is a nice space. There needs to be some improvement with a few things at this venue. First, they double booked a wedding at the exact same time of my cousin's wedding and changed her ceremony room on the exact same day. The waitstaff kept coming into the bridal suite giving her a time check and we realized that they were trying to force us to do the ceremony a half hour earlier because they double booked. After we told them that we were not going to do that they did not hassle us anymore. Second, all of the food for the cocktail hour was absolutely ice cold. We had grilled veggies (ice cold), seafood salad, cold pasta salad, cheese assortment (no crackers or bread), and an assortment of fruit. That is not their fault as I am quite sure my cousin selected that as her option but the combo just didn't seem to go well. The food for the sit down was a buffet and it left nothing to be desired. On the menu was chicken and peppers for fajitas (sans tortillas), guacamole, veggie lo mein, beef and broccoli, fried chicken, pulled pork and some sort of rice and bean dish. All of the food was absolutely gross. The chicken with peppers has so much garlic on it that you can smell it all the way down the hall when you left the banquet room. The fried chicken had absolutely no salt or any form of seasoning and the rest of the food was too unappealing for me to even put it on my plate. I felt really bad because everyone left a full plate when the waitstaff were cleaning which means that the food was awful. Again, the venue itself is very nice but I would recommend a total overhaul of their food.

This was the worst catering hall that I've ever been to. I'm not sure what food service distributor they use or if they just buy the cheapest food but it was awful. I ordered a steak as did 5 other people at my table. Waited 10 minutes for a steak knife after my steak was served. When I went to taste it, it tasted like rubber. I asked to speak with the owner/ manager and not one person came up to me to find out what happened. I didn't bother to ask for a different meal, my friend offered me some of her salmon which was dry and over cooked. They have about 5 parties going on at once and you can hear the music from each party in the room that you are in. This place should not be in business or should be taken over by new management. I will never go there again. Edited- As far as responding to customer service/ they didn't do anything while I was there to make my experience any better. Nor did anyone ask me if they could help me. The only reason she replied on yelp is because they don't want a negative review written about their staff, food and overall business. I will not be emailing you regarding my experience, everything about it is written here.

We had our wedding at Coral House this past Saturday (9.21.19) and I must say that from our very 1st visit, the staff was super warm, friendly, welcoming, etc. They were absolutely great in every way!! Frank, you were the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so happy that we chose Coral House. The food was delicious, the decor was beautiful, our maitre d' Nancy was the greatest as was Orlando. DREAM EVENTS is a must use!!! The center pieces and photo booth were to die for. Love, love, love this place!!!!! Highly recommend.

Coral House is elegant, inside and out. Several rooms overlooking a lake, very zen like. Hospitable from valet to entry. Supervision of the staff appeared very professional. Other than that, everything was great, until... Maybe they should have training their servers just a bit before letting them loose. For example; If someone is eating, don't fill their water with the pitcher in their face. Don't spill a tray of dishes, cake and coffee, on people. The list goes on... basic stuff. Just that alone will keep people from returning. Maybe they were short staffed and we got the B side, who knows. It is still an attractive venue, hopefully you can request their best servers...

Let me first say that this review is not indicative of only the service at Coral House, but also the mismanagement of their staff as well as the shady business that happened to me on my wedding day! First of when dealing with the wedding planner, we were not notified of the additional weddings happening that day. Originally our planner told us that there was no wedding scheduled for that day, but told us our wedding was to start at 7PM with no other events. Now that's pretty late for a September wedding, but we went with it seeing that there was no wedding scheduled. When we get there not only was there another wedding going on, but there were THREE (3) consecutive weddings occurring at the same time. Now if you're looking for transparency this is something that you're not going to find here. Second our Maître d was not informed of the way that the processional should run. We had another day of planner that knew of the the things that were going on, but they did NOT follow them. How difficult is it to read off of a detailed schedule. Thus our processional was rushed and did not come out the way it should. Third and most importantly was the quality, quantity and timing of food. The cocktail hour had barely any food. We splurged to get the raw bar, however there was nothing. NO RAW BAR. Basically a couple of grimey clams and that's about it. The food was not being replenished nor handled with care. Finally when the main course came out, it was delayed until 11:30PM! Are you kidding me? This is unacceptable. Our guests walked out with no food and a terrible experience. I literally had guests asking to have some food, but the wait staff did not care. Not only that when I asked the wait staff what happened they got snippy with me and cursed at me. Professionalism? Not at the Coral House. Here's my final take. DO NOT HAVE ANY EVENTS AT CORAL HOUSE! I'm not saying this because I want to drive business away out of spite, but because I know that people who have events here are trying to do something special and important. By going to Coral House you'll just be stressed out and swindled into having a sub-par event. I hope that this wakens the management to do a better job and that you can't treat people like this. New paint and lights don't make up for the atrocities that happened at my wedding. Please let your friends and family know.

I had to cancel my wedding at The Coral House three times due to Covid-19 restrictions. They refuse to return my money and instead want to provide me with a voucher good for a future event. A voucher that I have no use for. Because in spite of Covid-19 my fiance and I managed to get married. How can they keep my money without providing any service. How does a voucher help me, especially since I have no intention of getting remarried. These people have treated me very unfairly.

We paid to have our grandmother's 100 birthday celebration because of covid it's canceled, they are refusing to give us back our money and it's at the point where they refus to communicate with us. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable. Businesses like this should be held accountable. It's a global pandemic and you will think they will be accommodating at least. I will not recommend.
