Hair She Goes Braiding Parlor

A client had contacted me for a hair braiding service from Coral Reef Club. I had met 2 young ladies who were so helpful. The atmosphere was cool and nice. The room I did my service in was a decent size with air condition. I loved it.

Our second visit. Staff friendly and efficient. Beach front area rearranged and improved. The beach is sandy and uncrowded. All bedrooms are large and, I think, have generous balconies. Rooms are in buildings dotted around gardens full of tropical plants. Lots of choice with the food, which was well cooked and served. Restaurant and bar well placed for cooling breezes and views of the sea. I did not think the evening singers and bands were as good as they usually are in the Caribbean.

This was our second visit to Coral Reef Club and it didn’t disappoint. The room was a beautiful sea view / garden room and was immaculately clean with fresh towels and iced water daily. The food is outstanding, from breakfast to lunch, late morning sorbet and beach drinks to evening dinner and cocktails. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the beach waiters are super hardworking and friendly. There is a well equipped gym and tennis coaching which we enjoyed, together with evening musicians/singers which were lovely on the evenings we dined in the hotel. The grounds are beautiful and every member of staff had a smile and hello for you throughout our stay. We cannot wait to return to one of favourite places to visit. Thank you everyone at the hotel for making our stay so special.

Stunning Caribbean hotel. Rooms were spacious and spotless, relaxed Caribbean vibes with large terrace overlooking the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. We opted for B&B . Great breakfast buffet of hot and cold foods. Beach was gorgeous with good snorkelling.

Coral Reef Club was recommended to us by British Airways and it did not disappoint. The setting is beautiful with immaculately maintained gardens, well presented and comfortable accommodation end excellent dining. |The team of staff were friendly, attentive and always on hand to respond to our needs. A special thanks goes to Sheldon and Carlos who greeted us every morning with a welcoming smile at the beach. In addition, Prince, Serena and Deborah ensured we were served great cocktails, superb breakfasts and dinner throughout our 9 night stay. Thank you!||We completely understand why guests return year after year. We will be planning our return fin 2026 having arrived back in UK this morning. |The visibility of the O’Hara family day on day, clearly demonstrates their commitment to maintaining high standards and ensuring all guests feel welcomed and enjoy their stay. Fully appreciate the time taken to greet, chat and bid farewell to guests hence the reason this Coral Reef out shines other clubs.|Amazing holiday, thank you all.

The Coral Reef Club is a small slice of paradise along the stunning west coast of Barbados. You notice the extreme attention to detail and the rooms are uniquely placed throughout the lovely grounds. One particular delight is the bar and restaurant which is ideally located and provides top caliber food and service with languid sea breezes and a stunning view. The spa is another immaculate realm and has ample spaces to relax, a nice pool, and the treatments are in well-appointed rooms. The esthetician and masseurs take care to tailor the treatments. You always feel your best at this gracious property.

We wanted to leave a review on this amazing hotel, which we hope to return to in the near future.||The grounds are absolutely stunning with the tallest palm trees we’ve ever seen. They are well tended and if you’re lucky, you might glimpse a green monkey.||All the rooms are spread out amongst the gardens and are perfectly positioned away from any road noise.||The beach is sandy and the coral in the sea allows for an abundance of tropical fish, visible very close to shore. We never had a problem in securing a sun bed with ample shade.||The restaurant serves delicious food with very low key entertainment. The Thursday bbq was brilliant and very authentic.||What makes this hotel stand out is the attitude and politeness of all the staff and any Barbadian people you meet. They truly want you to have the best possible holiday and love the island as much as they do.||We cannot write this review without singling out one person in particular - Nigel, who ensured that we had the most perfect anniversary possible. Thank you so much.||Ian and Tracy T

My wife and I chose to spend an extra couple of days in Barbados on the back of the business trip and based on friend’s recommendation chose Coral Reef. We arrived early and reception was great in getting us situated at the beach while our room was getting ready. As hotel was only partially full. by 1:30 we were in the lovely Junior suit. It was on the first floor next to the ocean and done in such a way that we did not see other rooms. The rooms have a back door and room service uses connections at the back so you never see support stuff around the resort. Great design. Beach is very nice. Service at the beach is prompt. Basically it is a high quality small resort with prices to match. Is it worth the money? For us it was ||However, the stay was ruined by the staff at the restaurant. We went there for breakfast . The restaurant is right on the beach without any wall. While dinner is more formal ( pants and shirt) breakfast is informal buffet with shorts and t-shirts being a norm. As we were checking-in I was told that I need to take my hat before I can sit down. That was somewhat strange given that there were people working at the restaurant in the hats, some kids were running around in the beach hats and there were no sign regarding head covering. But each establishment can set up their own rules. So not a big deal. I explained that I cover my head for religious purposes. I thought that it was sufficient. However as we were finishing our breakfast the manager of the restaurant (or at least I assume he is one) approached our table and loudly requested that I take off my hat. At that time I chose to leave the restaurant. Later that day the manager who was informed by my wife of the reason for the hat came and told me that I can wear the hat. No apology was offered. I will give the manager benefit of the doubt and assume that he did not talk to the lady I have already explained the reason to (especially since the hat was more of the informal look). However, the fact that manager chose to give me a loud directions to remove the hat rather than have a discreet conversation is unacceptable. Simple: “ Sir, can I enquire if your hat is for medical or religious purposes” would have avoided the issue. It is sad that action of one individual can ruin hard work of the entire stuff
