Their smashburgers are out of this world! We were a big group and service was quick and the owner was very friendly!

The best cafe I went to in Costa Rica, lovely staff, great ambience and most importantly stunning coffee. The owner is passionate about good coffee and has made it all over the world. The food is fantastic as well. I had the tastiest and prettiest açai bowl ever! My husband had the muesli and yoghurt which was also delicious. Can’t recommend it highly enough. It is a real gem. The only complaint I have is that it is not open every day of the week!

They are the most friendly people we've met in Costa Rica!!! The food is always delicious! The desserts are exceptional! The service is great! The wine selection is perfect! And the coffee is strong and fresh! Reserve your spot on Sundays for their rib and chicken smoker dinner!!! 😎🍾🐒🧜

I visited this amazing cafe on my last day in Costa Rica. The service was exceptional, the staff were polite and shared great conversations with me. I must say, the coffee and food was exquisite and the environment and atmosphere was great. Such a great place with great people. I cannot wait to come back one day!

This is a must stop on your CR trip through Guanacaste. Unfortunately we didn’t know they had rooms we could have stayed in, but we did frequent the cafe throughout our trip. The people who work here are truly passionate about their craft. It is an absolute treat to watch them bake, create, and brew! They are all so friendly and make the yummiest treats and best coffee on the coast!! I love finding a good cafe when I travel and this one is among the best in the world!! Thank you!!! We can’t wait to come back and stay for Sunday-funday bbq next time!!

Amazing interior! Fantastic coffee! Delicious cookies! Very entertaining staff! Than why 3 stars? The manager is a very unsocial lady. Even if you get there quite often, it feels like she dislikes you.. or just ignores you...or just hates her job. Even if you get there quite often and have long conversations about being Vegan, they still manage to give you stuff that contains animals and still let you pay for it. And it's Super nice if the staff is good at entertaining and in their role of being nice to their costumers, but when you leave and it's clear that it's mostly a role they play... It just feels less special. We definitely recommend it though. We spend over $300 in a month, because we loved the drinks and the Vegan cookies. Its pricy, but worth it.

This is a great little coffee house that serves delicious food and coffee, with an easy-going atmosphere that matches Playa Negra's laid-back vibe. There's also a B&B but we didn't stay there so I can't comment on that part.||During our first visit we were told that we could learn about coffee roasting, so we booked with Jon, and had a great time learning all about coffee: from truly Eco-friendly production and harvest, to a hands-on coffee roasting lesson, complete with the beautiful results in a bag to take home. Can't wait to taste my own brew!||Would absolutely recommend!

The accommodations are comfortable and secure, the meals are delicious, and it's hard to find a friendlier crew than those who run Corazon de Los Pargos. Grab a room if you can, or just visit for a great meal and a recommendation or two. If you're lucky, your visit will coincide with an event - live music is frequent and varied - piano sonatas, drum circles, hip hop DJs, Bob Marley nights... This place is the center of an inclusive Costa Rican and Expat community that epitomizes easy vibes, artistic talent, and kindness.||If you're looking for friendliness, healthy food, and a safe place to lay your head, this is your place. If you're interested in a standard hotel experience, this is a bit different from that. Shower and bathrooms are communal, and the place is rustic... the sheets are clean and the food is very fresh, and the good vibes will show you why this place has such excellent reviews. Highly recommended.
